Guest Reviews
- Władysław (10/5): -
- Santos (9/5): -
- Richelle (8/5): Close to city gate - Closeness to old town and city gate Host said would meet and didn't. Took a little while to hear back - neighbour needed to intervene.
- Lesley (7/5): - Location
- Marjan (9/5): Voldeed aan verwachting - De gastvrijheid Erg in de stad
- Marie Laure (9/5): - Super emplacement, calme, la terrasse
Appartement optimisé Coin repas
- Trudie (9/5): Very comfortable apartment in Dubrovnik. Lots of steps, but everywhere in Dubrovnik's reached by lots of steps. Appr - Location was great! Near the Buza gate so easy to get to and with plenty of restaurants nearby. It was great to have outside space with a table and chairs, shade and drying facilities. Shower was good, aircon in all rooms. Netflix always a bonus! And host arranged transfer to the airport for us. Nothing we didn't like. Couldn't figure out hot to use coffee machine tho!
- sonya (10/5): - Our host was exceptional and this was a perfectly located apartment with everything we needed and fitted the description perfectly. Would definitely book it again
- Lyn (8/5): Even though there were a couple of issues, over all it was a fantastic spot to stay - The location was fabulous. Loved the patio outside. The freezer was frozen solid and we cleaned it so that we could use it. The sheets were a little uncomfortable.
- Sam (7/5): A tiny flat in a great location! - The location is fantastic — right in the Old Town and just steps from Buža Gate, which means you don’t have to drag your luggage up or down hundreds of stairs (your knees will thank you).
Even better, there’s a luggage storage service right at the gate, so it’s super convenient if you want to wander around a bit more after checkout without hauling your bags like a medieval pack mule. As others have mentioned — yes, it’s tiny. Like, “don’t exhale too hard” tiny.
The bedrooms aren’t too bad — as long as you’re willing to completely unpack your luggage into the closets, because there’s zero floor space otherwise.
The bathroom, however, takes the crown. It’s really small. Think airplane lavatory, but with more commitment.
There’s no living room, which others have pointed out too, and the mini kitchen offers nowhere to dry your dishes. So if you’re the kind of person who likes to channel your inner MasterChef on holiday, this is probably not your scene. Even making toast feels like a full kitchen production.
That said, the patio was great — shaded, cozy, and where we ended up spending most of our downtime when not wandering the city.
- Anavi (9/5): Nice cute little property in Dubrovnik old town! - The property is very conveniently located right near the Buza Gate within Dubrovnik old town so you don’t have to walk far with your luggage if you arrive at Buza Gate! The host gave very clear instructions on how to check in. The property was well maintained and had all the facilities needed for travellers on a longer trip eg washing machine. The property size was a little small but that might be expected from all properties within Dubrovnik old town - it shouldn’t stop you from booking this great property though!
- Suzette (9/5): Superb - Small apartment, but very well-equipped. Little patio out front was a pleasant bonus.
- Dennis (8/5): It was a lovely apartment for our stay in Dubrovnik - The location of the apartment is great! It is very near the east gate to the city, which is easy access to roads and busses. It is easy to get to when you are toting luggage. The apartment is clean and very pleasant. It's not that we did not like this - but the apartment was smaller than we expected. From the pictures, we thought it would be larger. It was very cozy for the four of us. Fortunately, the weather was still warm and dry enough in late October that we could sit outside on the small veranda. That was our gathering place.
- Autumn (7/5): Charming place in Old Town Dubrovnik. A Bit Tight. - We liked the location. Unit was was very cute, if a bit tight, and the outdoor area was charming. AC worked. Don't know how it compares for value as we didn't look at other places, but it is fine you mostly just want to sleep there and to have the flavor of being in the old town of Dubrovnik. Main floor was pretty small. You had to squeeze into the counter/bar area. To enter the shower you had to back up against the sink or open the bathroom door and step out of the room to allow for the shower door swing. Sitting on the toilet the washing machine was pressed against your left thigh. Kitchen had several used coffee capsules in jars and the machine, but no fresh ones. On leaving we stripped the sheets and found stained pillows and quite stained mattress covers underneath. We could not get either TV to work (they turned on but we couldn't get to the next step). Still, the charming area and the fact that it is in a historic building may outweigh the negatives for you.
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Great location, shame it rained while we were there as the courtyard is a real bonus with this apartment. Apartment is cosy but exactly as described. Washing machine wasn't working - hopefully that's been fixed now
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (8/5): Experience old city with easy access - In old city but close to city walls and gate so easier access with luggage. Small and compact but comfortable in a quiet part of the city.
- Ben (8/5): Brilliant location. Compact accomodation. Super-helpful owners. - Great location and owners that can’t do enough to help, Shower area has mould and crates a wet floor area.
- Jackie (10/5): Recommend 100% - The location was excellent and the apartment was really cute. The host was friendly and responsive. She It was hard to keep the bathroom clean. The water from the shower leaks from under the shower door and gets the rest of the bathroom floor wet
- Shelley (8/5): Amazing location and a great host ❤️ - Great location. Spotlessly clean. Good kitchen equipment and lots of towels and bedding.
The host picked us up from the airport for a small fee. She gave us lots of information about the city and was so sweet and helpful. We loved Dubrovnik! Thank you! It was quite a small place, so not recommended for long stays.
- Zak (8/5): Terrific - we would come back - It was wonderful that the host was able to pick us up at the airport and assist with checking in. And the location was terrific - right in the old town. Which is amazing. We highly recommend a walking tour to get the rich history of this city There are several flights of stairs from the town square and Main Street to the property. If you have bad knees it could be a bit painful. On the other hand if you’re a bit of a hiker at heart it’s perfect!
- Michelle (4/5): Disappointing - Location. Great hairdryer and iron No living space.
- Pinch (8/5): Amazing location in a beautiful city. - This is a great property in a brilliant location next to Buza Gate. The little courtyard is tiny but lovely to sit in for breakfast. The kitchen is also tiny, but despite being small, it is well-equipped. Really recommend a swim at the Buza Bar and a trip to Lokrum. The accommodation is tiny, so it is not ideal for a stay longer than a couple of days, we are a family of 4 and it was a squeeze! Dubrovnik is a wonderful city, but not great if you have any mobility issues, there are a lot of stairs.
- Emma (8/5): Small but perfectly formed, great location . - Location within walls and cleanliness Compact
- Elliott (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, well equipped, cool.
- Jackie (4/5): Disappointed overall, but location was very convenient for the city. - Location was great, and the outside patio was a real bonus. Very small, needs some updating.
- Dixon (8/5): Very good. Apartment was small but well equipped. - Location Instructions to find apartment should be clearer re which door is the correct one.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Very clean and great courtyard area for a glass of wine. Good value for money. Breakfast area a little tight for 4 people, but able to eat outside
- Caroline (8/5): Great but Dubrovnik itself is very expensive so as long as you prepared for that it’s all good. - Right by Buza gate so when u arrive u don’t have to carry luggage up from the bottom. There are still some steps but manageable. Downstairs area very small but we weren’t in the apartment other than to sleep so didn’t bother us.
- Helen (9/5): We had an excellent stay and would recommend this apartment. - It was a great location and, although small, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. The air con was efficient in the bedrooms. It was very easy to check in. The second bedroom is small. We had two teenagers sharing but they managed fine.
- Tazia (10/5): Charming and peaceful. It’s a nice spot away from the crowds. - Adorable, clean, lovely little patio. Right in old town. I loved this property, but one should know there are 115 stairs to get to it, so be prepared.
- Ray (9/5): Two day visit to Dubrovnik which was ample for what we wanted to see and do. Saw all the sites and managed to get some s - Location was very good. Quiet but close to all the old city had to offer. And handy to public transport and taxis etc Was a little bit small but fine for a short stay.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): A lovely oasis. - What a wonderful place! I was amazed at how well designed it was--it was a small place but every corner was fully used--really quite remarkable. It was well supplied and perfectly clean. The best part for us was the lovely patio outside, which was such a peaceful place to stay after a full day. Hauling our bags up a zillion steps was not fun, and not for the faint of heart. Of course, that's not something the owners could control. We found it a little hard to find, even with a map, but we eventually got there.
- Allegonda (9/5): Superb - Great location in the old town of Dubrovnik. Small but complete apartment with outdoor space. Adequate and good communication with the host. Nothing.
- Jessie (8/5): Very good - Good location in the old town. Cosy little apartment. Please be mindful there are lots of steps to get back to the apartment unless you go around town. There are also stairs in the apartment. It's a very poky little apartment. Very small. No room to sit and chill out. I'd say it would suit 2 people. Barely enough room to put your suitcase. Shower leaks and floods the bathroom floor every time you use it
- Renata (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, price and the apartment really cute and comfortable for the 3 of us! The small touches from the host like the welcoming drinks and the lavanda souvenirs made it even more perfect. Really recommend it!
- Sheffer (8/5): Very good - The apartment is very well set and organized to serve a small family. The location is superb and the outside yard is full of atmosphere and very nice. A cosy and beautiful little apartment. All in all it is too small and has almost no place for guests to move, not to mention the luggage. The kitchen is tighny and very poorly equipped.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Great stay at a great property - Great location and lovely place to stay Nothing
- Liliana (10/5): An absolute MUST when in Dubrovnik! - We had an incredible stay at this cozy, charming apartment with an unparalleled location in Old Town Dubrovnik. Easily accessible from one of the main gates of the town (therefore easy to reach by Uber), with great food options nearby, and in a very safe and quiet area of town. Dubrovnik was beyond breathtaking and the stay in this apartment only made it better. The place was clean, came with clean linen and toiletries (including laundry detergent!), as well as a good selection of complimentary coffee and teas. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the space could easily be acclimated (either heated or cooled) with multiple ACs throughout the apartment. I fully recommend staying here
- Connie (10/5): Exceptional - Host was super communicative and we appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage after checkout.
- Brittany (10/5): Great location - Great location although up a lot of steps but right in the centre. Host were really accommodating and helpful. Only downside was bathroom was slightly small but everything else was great would recommend.
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location and the hosts were kind and accommodating
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Comfortable apartment with lovely terrace in the old town - We were met by Lamia at the airport, who was very friendly and helpful. Lamia had advice and recommendations for us, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Lamia even loaned us a basketball for our son to shoot hoops at the amazing Dubrovnik basketball court. We were able to store our bags and also access the apartment early, which was very much appreciated. Situated in the old town, the apartment was close to one of the gates which made it easy getting ourselves and our bags to and from the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. We loved having our own terrace with its vined roofing, which had lots of use in the mornings and evenings. Like much of the old town, the apartment is very compact, but suited to our family stay of three nights. We loved out stay and recommend the property, and it’s very kind hosts.
- Alison (8/5): The perfect location to explore Dubrovnik old town - This apartment is perfectly located at the edge of the old town. If you don’t fancy taking the steps there are other routes into the town centre although they take slightly longer.
The apartment is very small but has everything you need and a lovely terrace. Being away from the hustle and bustle it’s very quiet at night.
The owner’s daughter took us from and to the airport, which was helpful. She was very friendly and made lots of suggestions of places to visit and eat.
During our stay I messaged the owner about an issue with the washing machine and she was quick to respond.
We were allowed a later check out on our day of departure which was much appreciated.
Overall a lovely stay 😊 Every time we used the shower it flooded the bathroom floor. Also the washing machine didn’t work properly although the owner offered to do some laundry for us when I contacted her about it.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Benita (8/5): Very good -
- Chisholm (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location! Just down from Busa Gate. Few stairs. It’s hard to tell from the pictures - a double bed in the lower bedroom and two singles in the upper bedroom. The bathroom has a clothes washing machine. The patio is perfect to read, have coffee/breakfast, etc. with an apricot tree above. We had a friendly cat that would visit us in the mornings. We loved this quaint little apartment!
- David (9/5): a great base for exploring Dubrovnik - nice terrace, clean and quiet and comfy rooms, good access to main roads for getting to/from airport, close to cable car too a little tight in spots, a bit of a walk (many steps) to major sights, but really a very nice place
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Maddie (10/5): Lovely apartment, I would recommend - Loved this apartment, it was in the perfect location, it was very clean and had all the things we need (towels, tea, coffee and toiletries). We stayed with 2 adults and our 2 children and they loved having the bedroom to themselves upstairs. The only tiny issue was the double bed wasn't very comfortable but it didn't make us like the apartment any less, we would stay again.
- Kim (8/5): Very Convenient - Very convenient, restaurants and shops all nearby. 3 to 5 mins walk.
Short walk from the entrance to the old town. It's a tiny apartment but cosy, very compact. There's a breakfast bar nice to have our breakfast and morning coffee, but it's small so we were unable to sit there for long. But coffee bars all over the town. It was a pleasant stay. The only thing was the shower, I think it needs updating. Every time any one of us uses the shower the whole bathroom floor is soaked, you need loads of floor towels.
- Johanna (9/5): It was fun staying in the old town. - We did not have breakfast, but I think that would have been very good. The many stairs were a bit much for me in the rain.shower water went to the rest of the fkoor
- Han (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (7/5): Good - Great location No sitting room
- Wye (10/5): Helpful owner.great location - Owner was kind enought to let us leave our luggages after checkout, transfer to airport fee charged was cheap n tks Lamia for your kind assistance. .location 2mins walking distance from busa gate n 5mins to cable car station Kitchen was small but thats what you expect in old town
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (9/5): Perfect stay inside city walls. - location was perfect just inside city walls. very clean and everything we needed. we had lovely weather and outside terrace was a great spot for breakfast and evening drink. if it had been wet we would have perhaps missed having a comfy inside space.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (9/5): Adorable convenient little place. - The daughter picked us up at the airport, very nice young lady. It's at the very entrance near Buza gate parking, small but it had everything you need and clean. A lot of stairs up and down, very tiring to get to and from the main plaza, but that's just about any place inside the old town.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Jon (10/5): Compact, but clean, well-equipped and a good location - Well equipped, good location in Old Town Eating area slightly small, but not a big deal for a one night stay
- Louisa (10/5): we had a fantastic stay at Apartment Leila. a great location to explore the city and the hosts were superb at communicat - location, convenience, clean, family friendly
- Hilda (9/5): Superb -
