• Hilary (10/5): - Location amazing. Right in the middle of Old Town, but with the shutters and windows closed at night surprisingly quiet. Comfortable beds, water good and hot. Maja just lovely. Nothing. Just be aware you have 3 flights of stairs to climb with luggage, but that's part of the charm and reality of being in Dubrovnik and the Old Town.

• Diego (6/5): Good enough but it could be better. - The location is perfect and the apartment is comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen had a very strong smell, which made the stay a bit unpleasant. The apartment, especially the bathroom, smelled like mold and sewage.

Our host was excelent, very helpful friendly lady, our flight was in evening and she let us to stay longer then actual check ou time. We left Dubrovnik with beautiful memories. Thank you Maja.

• Mohita (10/5): Our stay at Maja apartment - Excellent location, very clean and cozy apartment, equipped with all amenities. Maja was an extremely gracious and helpful host. Convenient check-in and checkout. Walking distance to old town, main bus station & all attractions. Easy to get to from the airport. Maja communicated well on how to reach the apartment from the old town without using the infamous Dubrovnik stairs😍 Spiral narrow stairs leading to the top apartment. It will only be a problem to climb if you have large luggage to haul or mobility issues.

• Fusaro (5/5): Posizione fantastica con struttura da ammodernare - La posizione è favolosa, sei quasi praticamente sullo Stradun, per tanto non ci sono gradini da fare in strada. La mansarda in cui ho alloggiato è al terzo piano di cui due piani con scala a chiocciola. Per il centro storico di Dubrovnik è normale non trovare l'ascensore . L'appartamento è molto vecchio ; soprattutto gli impianti. La casa per quanto pulita risente del fatto che abbia molti anni. Maya, è una donna educatissima, disponibile ed intelligente; parla diverse lingue e la sua cultura si respira nei libri e nei quadri che trovi dentro casa e nel palazzo. Queste sue doti riescono alla fine a compensare le carenze della struttura.
• Giulia (9/5): Lovely stay in old town Dubrovnik - The flat is well equipped and super close to restaurants and bars, as well as the beach. The host was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Great base to see Dubrovnik. The flat is on the top floor and there are some steep stairs, which can be problematic if one has mobility issues or has very heavy luggage.
• Daniela (9/5): Apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik - The best thing is the central location in the old town. Close to everything. Despite the apartment is located in the center, it was quiet at night and we slept well. The air conditioning works as it should.Great restaurant right outside the door. Be prepared for the fact that the apartment itself requires walking up steep stairs to the 3rd floor. Otherwise there are no stairs to the house.
• Amy (9/5): Great centrally located 2 room apartment - The apartment was centrally located, clean and easy to access. Having a separate bedroom allowed one person to be up while the other slept. One needs to be careful to conserve hot water. The water pressure in the shower is very strong so a lot of water comes out quickly if the tap is fully open. If you close the tap partially there is still great pressure and the hot water lasts long enough for two good showers. The hot water for the shower ran out the first time I took a shower; I’d been swimming and was cold so it was a long shower. Also, it gets hot if you leave the windows open. On my second day, I shut the shutters and windows before I left, and opened them again in the evening, and it was comfortable. I didn’t use the ac unit so I can’t say if it works or not. Also, there are 3 flights of stairs. I knew this ahead of time so not a problem.
• Steve (10/5): The host was super nice. The place was clean and wonderful. Nice stair climb-for those in shape! - The location was amazing! We had the top room and it's a narrow spiral staircase. I wouldn't recommend to older, fat people or people not in shape!

• Susan (7/5): Staying in Old Town is delightful but be prepared for stairs and noise. - Awesome location, right off the central corridor in Old Town. It was nice to have 2 rooms. Good value. We had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs, a miserable experience. Do not stay here unless you pack light! Our host did find a guy to carry our suitcases down for us. There’s an outdoor restaurant under the bedroom window so it was noisy.

• Susan (7/5): Good - The location is brilliant, just off the main square in Old Town, a very nice restaurant at your doorstep, and everything close by. The apartment is clean, cosy and comfortable, and our host was helpful. It's great value for money. The apartment is at the top of the building, which is fine. However, there is a LOT of stairs, which is also fine. Of course I don't expect a lift in old buildings. But it is a long and steep climb, particularly the first time with heavy luggage. Our host was lovely and carried our bag the last 2 flights. I'm quite small and still found the shower cubicle a bit cramped. It is extremely noisy at night. Maybe we were unlucky, but the loud partying went on into the wee small hours.

• Mary (7/5): Dubrovnik is an amazing city. We were happy to stay in a central location. Food was expensive in Dubrovnik so it was con - Location was excellent, just off Stradun in the old city. The beds were very comfortable. Maja was very hospitable and helpful. The electrical sockets were a little bit dangerous by our standards. It could be noisy at night due to proximity to the Main Street.

• Clare (10/5): Perfect place to explore Dubrovnik - Great location in the Old Town. If you come in the Pike Gate there are no steps until the apartment where there are 3 floors of steps. This is not many for Dubrovnik Old Town . Lovely apartment and Msja was wonderful and helpful. Noisy neighbours

• Tara (9/5): Comfy accommodation in an excellent location in the heart of Old Town! - Nice host & excellent location in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik! We appreciated having a 2-room apartment for space to work a little online, and it was useful having a kitchenette with a fridge to store snacks and drinks. The A/C kept the apartment very cool and the beds were comfortable. Would love to have a microwave to re-heat leftovers or make easy hot meals (dining out in Dubrovnik was expensive!). Wifi was a little dodgy on the third floor. The excellent location of the apartment means you are in the heart of the restaurants and bars, with one bar being just across the tiny alley...you can hear some noise if the bar is open late & patrons are getting a little loud -- It didn't bother us, but just so other travelers know who might be more sensitive to noise.
• Lily (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, and very accommodating hosts when we arrived very late due to a flight delay. The apartment was well sized and comfortable. It would have been good if the apartment had some more appropriately sized pots for the stove (only one pot fit), and a microwave.

• Daniel (9/5): Superb - I was in a stylish, cool, upstairs 'attic' style room. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and good shower. Amazing location right in the heart of the old town and very close to all the major attractions. Great restaurants everywhere but also a small supermarket. The room I was in had very poor wi-fi. Unusable at times.

The internal bathroom lacked ventilation. Top attic 4th floor apartment had steep steps.. suggest only for the fit.
• Coby (10/5): Charming, clean, and comfortable apartment in the best location in Dubrovnik - Beautiful attic apartment in the best location in dubrovnik! The photos on booking really dont do it justice. The place is spacious and immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Maja is an amazing host, super friendly and nice. The only thing to bear in mind is that there are quite a few stairs to climb, but I found it authentic and charming, but I didn't mind it at all. It's a small price to pay to be in the best spot in dubrovnik. Nothing all was perfect! Would definitely stay there again

The flat's decor was great, with fab pictures - homely, with a personal touch. Quaint staircase once you get the hang of it 💚, which didn't take long. Host, Maja, is an extremely kind, hospitable and friendly person.
