Guest Reviews
- Angela (6/5): Location in old walls, property & management needs improvement. - Location is right in the center of the old town, convenient but very noisy at all times. I confirmed my arrival time multiple times leading to checkin day on their auto prompt emails and via direct message, when we arrived the keys were not in the lock box the 2 "day of" contacts were unresponsive, it took 45 minutes to gain entry while standing in the heat in the middle of restaurant seating outside the entrance after hours of travel, Finally the main number agent was able to get ahold of the day of contact, the cleaning crew were still inside, and we were let in but had to wait another 30 minutes to actually settle in while they finished. Upon entry we were short on towels, there was a cockroach and dirty dishes in the kitchen, we reported this to the day of contact and couldn't get a timely response, we had to contact Booking.com to reach them again to remedy the issue, the apartment was well worn a needed a refresh compared to the bright and clean pics online. and it was the most expensive accommodation in our Croatian 20+ day trip. Would not stay again.
- Chris (5/5): Location is awesome - apartment & amenities need attention - Location was excellent for visiting everything Dubrovnik had to offer. Cannot get a better location Noise of street & restaurants below the rooms at night - so loud!
Bathroom is very dated, black mould in shower silicone and almost impossible to shower without flooding the floor.
Missing a doona in 1 bedroom - a cover was supplied when we asked, but still no doona. We had to just put a blanket on top.
No dishwashing tablet provided and the dishwasher smelt when we opened it.
- Sue (1/5): - Sadly this is not a positive review.
We were so looking forward to this accommodation as it was well located inside Old Town walls.
The location was good, however, be warned to bring ear plugs to cope with restaurant music below and the rattling sound of the aircon in the bedroom.
Aircon was very effective, however, very noisy. It clearly needs attention as does several other areas in the apartment.
We stopped using the kettle as it had a large leak all over the power stand and bench and was a hazard.
The bathroom contained black mould in many areas.
The bath/shower would not drain and took up to 6-7 minutes after shower was turned off.
The mop in the laundry had a very bad odour. It took us a while to determine where the smell was coming from.
Bedding was an issue. Whilst the beds were comfortable, linen provided did not fit the bed for the most part.
Blanket did not reach over the whole bed.
Pillows were a scrunched up pile in the corner of a very oversized pillow slip.
Unless the owner attends to these issues, I would advise to avoid this accommodation.

- Christine (9/5): excellent location - keys were left in a key box which allowed us some flexibility in arrival time. Location was central. fit a family of 6 all together. Kitchen was well equipped, washing machine was useful. the location was great being in the center of old town. but it was hard to find - located in a court yard that a restaurant operates in and no marking on the actual doorway to say we had found the right doorway. and like all of old town, you either pay porters 15euro a bag (not feasible for a family of 6 with 2 bags each) or you lug bags through the streets of old town - price you pay for being central.....

- Amadis (8/5): Nice apartment in the center of Old Town - The location is excellent—right in the heart of the old town and within walking distance of all major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a good-quality mattress. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, and all the essentials for cooking. We felt safe and secure at all times during our stay. The apartment is listed as 2 bathrooms, but only one has a shower.
- Gail (5/5): Great location but almost impossible to get any sleep due to the noise from the restaurant below - I informed the host of my arrival time which was earlier than the 3pm check in. When I was sent the door code, I assumed that I could enter at 1pm. This was not the case and the host was not pleased.
- Cheryl (10/5): Perfect location - Location was easy access. Just one flight of stairs Leek in bathroom sink
- Greg (6/5): Ok for a short trip but I wouldn't return - The location was great right in the centre of the old town. The bathroom was very dated and the sink was leaking. The bedrooms were not comfortable, lacked appropriate bedding sheets and covers and felt extremely dusty. It was also very noisy, which is down to the location being so central - guess you can't have it all.
The checkout was also eventful. There is a sign on the back of the main flat door telling you to leave all the keys in the key box on departure. Despite this being highlighted as IMPORTANT! We then found out that this is not what you're supposed to do as the agency has changed and we should have left the key with the Marco Polo restaurant (located downstairs - nothing to do with the apartment).... Perhaps this should have been communicated in advance.... it wasn't, until it was too late
- Susan (6/5): In heart of old town but disappointed with key issues and bathroom facilities. - Excellent location. Spacious apartment. Leaflets with information available. Very helpful lady -Sanda We couldn’t check in till 3 and we then had to wait 15 minutes for lovely lady to arrive (we were very tired having left home at 4am) would benefit from a key safe. Plus only 1 door key which was problematic as 2 couples. Single quilt on double bed - had to make do first night but lovely lady again came with double next day. Leak in bathroom - floor always flooded. Thought with 2 bathrooms there would be 2 showers so, disappointed.
- Dlene (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Location was great. Easily accessible. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Not too many stairs to access. Lockbox outside property made it easy to checkin and out. The shower was hard to manage.
- Giedrė (9/5): Great - Location, very well equiped appartment
- Steven (8/5): Very good - Location. Quiet at night Shower difficult to manage. Little storage space. No paper towels or napkins.
- Duncan (7/5): Great location right in the heart of the old town. - Great location
Netflix
Air con Bathroom was very dated.
It was impossible to shower without soaking the floor.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Bev (9/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location. - Excellent location
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, the apartment very comfortable in a heart of old town.
- Diana (10/5): Great location - Nil
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good, management was somewhat rude. Will not stay here again or recommend to friends.
- Lindsey (10/5): Best of both worlds. Old town culture and beach scene. - Location was perfect. In the middle of the old town, and just 200m from beautiful Banje beach. Also 5 min walk to Pile gate where you meet the coaches for tours. The apartment was spacious and immaculately clean.
Some reviews state it is difficult to find and I was worried we would have problems locating the apartment. The instructions provided before arrival were spot on and we had no trouble finding the check In reception and the apartment. Would stay here again. Nothing it what perfect
- Tracy (10/5): Our stay was wonderful! - This property was in a great location, down a charming side street in Dubrovnik old town. The room was larger than expected with some storage for clothes so that we didn’t have to live out of a suitcase. The bed was so comfortable with lovely linens.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Great quiet location in old town.
- Sylvian (9/5): Superb - The location was great. We walked to all major attractions within 10 minutes. Staff was helpful. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was not modern.
- Claudia (10/5): Great location. - Right in Old Town with only a few stairs up to apartment. Close to everything. Did not provide ( or we couldn’t find) extra garbage bags so we could change garbage and take out.
- Katie (10/5): great find would highly recommend - very well equipped and perfectly located
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Grateful (9/5): Superb - Location just inside the city walls 🧱..in Dubrovnik it's important to stay on the lowest street level otherwise there are way too many stairs 😋 Check in a bit confusing the booking co should give a full address and a walk directions 😉
- Joseph (8/5): a simple, functional studio apartment in the old city. minutes walk from the main sights and less that’s a minute from P - the location was fantastic- right in the old town but tucked down a side road so it was nice and quiet. the host was also really helpful as we arrived super late and they helped us get into the flat! it was a bit dated and the bathroom wasn’t great.
- Andrius (5/5): Just average - Location was good and convenient Initially the location was not easy to find, there are no visible street signs so had to ask the locals which was frustrating. Upon arrival we rang the bell as no one opened the door so decided to called the number provided, it was only then a young guy let us in. He seemed rather cranky as though we had disrupted his sleep and so it wasn’t the best welcome. We were not very impressed with the studio, it was rather small, no wardrobes for storage and there was an open cinema in full swing right outside our window which was loud and rather annoying . This cinema was on pretty much every night of our stay so it made more sense not to be in the studio. The host did not provide any basic essentials such as tea, coffee, salt and sugar. We arrived late and we’re craving a hot drink, the supermarkets close at 10pm so we didn’t have much luck. In fact,, we didn’t even have a kettle! An absolute basic of amenities. Karla gave us a kettle but it did not work, we were told that new kettles had been ordered but were never given one in the end. The cooker was insufficient in heating the water and so it seemed like lukewarm coffee in the mornings was the way! I must say Karla helped us to boil our eggs by taking them away to boil.. so that was quite nice of her. She also provided extra towels and sheets. We asked for a later checkout as our flight was delayed and were told that as it was a Sunday, cleaning could only be done in the morning… what a daft reason personally :/. Anyway, do not expect the host to honor late checkout. Overall Croatia itself is spectacular and provides breathtakingly picturesque scenery, the people are not friendly nor welcoming so be prepared! Personally, we would not stay at this studio again….the host did not really go above and beyond
- Barneygirl_33 (9/5): Good value in old town. - Clean and tidy. A little hard to find at 11pm despite good photos.
