• Cathrina (10/5): Perfect host, beautiful apartment, walking distance to everything. - Absolutely everything was perfect, superb, spotlessly clean, cosy but very modern with an old town feel. Little balcony with great views, swimming pool and court yard immaculately attended. Was easy to locate from airport. Instructions precise and Marijana greeted us on arrival. Host Marijana was beautiful, welcoming, informative, the apartment accommodated all our needs. Her attention to detail best I’ve experienced thought our European adventures. Steps - everyone mentions! Yes, but the more the better. Good exercise. Couldn’t fault.

• Phill Martin (10/5): Fantastic property in beautiful Dubrovnic. Marijana is brilliant and very helpful - The apartment was fantastic, modern, clean, very comfortable and great location - and there was a pool and a lovely area around the pool to sit and enjoy the sun Marijana, who owns the property, organized pick up from the airport and met us when we arrived. She gave us lots of useful info and suggestions about what to see, where to go, best places to eat etc. She checked with us that all was ok and was always available should we need anything or if there was a problem - there weren't any Highly recommend this property if you intend to visit Dubrovnik NOTHING!!
• Gabi (10/5): - Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Dubrovnik. Das Apartment ist sehr ruhig gelegen, die Lage ist super, man kann in ca 10 bis 15 min die Altstadt erreichen. Die Wohnung ist äußerst sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr geräumig .Das Highlight ist die tolle Terrasse mit traumhaften Ausblick und viel Sonne von früh bis spät. Wir wurden mit leckerem Kuchen und Wein herzlichst begrüßt und mit vielen informativen Tipps versorgt. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

• Sandrine (10/5): Un séjour dans des conditions idéales. - L’appartement est très confortable, propre avec une petite terrasse vue sur la mer. Marijana est une hôtesse très accueillante, disponible, à l’écoute, soucieuse du bien être de ses locataires. La piscine chauffée est très agréable. La situation du logement est idéale au calme et en même temps à quelques minutes à pied de la vieille ville.Tout était parfait.
• Simon (10/5): - Our host Marijana had messaged us in advance with all the information about getting to the apartments, and then met us with cake & drinks on our arrival! Also she spent as long as we needed to give as lots of information about the city & surrounding area, including shops, restaurants, sights, & transport etc. The apartments are up on the hill about half way between the old city and the port, but there are plenty of buses to take you to either, or Lapad etc. also lots of room, a swimming pool & great views. Only things the hosts cannot control. like mosquitos!!

The host Marijana was fantastic, she met us at the property to sort the keys and we were greeted with a drink and snack. Marijana also let us know of a lot of useful local information and sites to see, she was easily available through WhatsApp during the stay too. The location was perfect, we were an 8 minute walk from the Old Town and just a few minutes walk from a main road with lots of buses
• Jochen (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühl und wir waren rundherum zufrieden. - Sehr ruhiges Appartement nur 10 - 15 Min. Fußweg vom Pile Tor entfernt. Achtung viel Treppen aber es gibt auch einen Bus ! Die Besitzerin hat auf uns gewartet, alles erklärt und uns mit noch warmen Palatschinken verwöhnt.
• Frances (10/5): Excellent modern, well equipped apartment with a terrace and pool, run by a wonderful couple. - The apartment was ideally situated about a 10 minute walk from the Old City of Dubrovnik. It was modern, well equipped, scrupulously clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts went out of their way to help us. Marijana met us at the entrance and invited us to share a drink and a delicious cake on the terrace, giving us useful information on the area including recommendations of places to visit. She booked us a boat trip that we wanted to do and guided us to the start of the serpentine walk up Mt. Srd. Marijana responded quickly to messages, providing photographic attachments which helped us enormously! There was nothing we didn't like but visitors should be aware that Dubrovnik is built on the side of a mountain and if you walk anywhere you are going to need to be able to cope with lots of steps! We loved it, but it may not suit everyone. We visited in the autumn and the inviting swimming pool was a little fresh but had we been there in the summer, it would be perfect.

Miejsce jest czyste, przestronne i doskonale wyposażone – wszystko, czego można potrzebować podczas wakacji, było na miejscu. Widok z tarasu zapiera dech w piersiach, a lokalizacja pozwala szybko dotrzeć do Starego Miasta. Największe wrażenie zrobiła jednak niezwykła gościnność Marijany i jej męża – od pierwszej chwili czuliśmy się jak w domu. Przywitali nas z uśmiechem, pomogli ze wszystkim, a nawet przygotowali małe niespodzianki, które sprawiły nam ogromną radość. To naprawdę cudowni ludzie, z sercem na dłoni. Z całego serca polecam ten apartament każdemu, kto szuka komfortowego miejsca z duszą i prawdziwie chorwacką gościnnością. Na pewno tu wrócimy!

• Paula (10/5): Perfect base for a Dubrovnik stay. - The owner Marijana communicated well prior to our arrival. We arrived late (23.30) to the apartment due to a flight delay and she was there to greet us. A very thoughtful welcome pack of food/ water/ milk was really appreciated. She was on hand throughout our stay and was helpful, thoughtful but not intrusive. The apartments and pool/ garden area are modern, beautifully presented and so clean. The apartment was well furnished and had everything we needed. Towels were replaced half way through our 1 week stay. We were in Apartment 4 with its own steps / front door. It had a beautiful sea view to wake up to. I am very fussy about where I stay on holiday and I wholly recommend these apartments. The property was well situated 20 mins walk downhill to the old town and a similar walk downhill in the opposite direction to Babin Kuk. As with much of the Dubrovnik area there were steps up to the apartment building- taxi drop off is on a road below and about 60 steps up to apartment gate and 50 steps up once inside. The reward was peace and quiet and these lovely apartments with a great view. A bakery is 5 mins walk from the apartment as is a small supermarket. There are larger supermarkets within a 15 minute walk. Photo is of the view from the balcony. -

• Eileen Lipkin (10/5): Loved the apartment and the host. Pretty setting but kinda far from major tourist sites - This was an apartment and no breakfast was provided but there was an espresso machine and pods to make espresso as well as some other generous provisions. The hostess met us shortly after arrival, showed us around and gave instructions and some suggestions for dining out nearby for two hungry, tired new guests. She checked in during our stay and saw us off at our leave taking. She was a delightful help in our visit. There was a pretty little outdoor swim pool onsite with an outdoor full shower in a pretty courtyard, a lovely view out our apartment and off the included balcony with dining table and chairs, and a provided drying rack and an in apartment clothes washer. There are a lot of stairs to access the apartment, a couple of flights of outdoor stone steps with iron (hot in summer heat) hand rails, and then more stairs inside the entry gate and then another flight up to our apartment indoors. This was a little daunting for an elder, tired guest, in the heat. And one more flight up to use the swimming pool. But I decided it was worth it, but should be considered for those considering a stay. It is also uphill from the old city area of Dubrovnik. A taxi can take one to the bottom of outdoor stairs and it is walkable from the old city and other sites but its a substantial walk. There is one good restaurant a few blocks downhill but only serves full meals at dinner and one coffee house nearby.
• Lynne (10/5): Absolutely stunning apartments would recommend these to anyone who would like to stay in Dubrovnik - The apartments were spacious and absolutely spotless, they were decorated in a modern finish and the hosts were so helpful. The stairs to the property might be off putting but if these aren’t an issue you will stay at the most stunning apartments
• Gill (10/5): Beautiful apartment near the Old Town - Beautiful apartment, like home from home with everything we could have wanted, well located not far from Dubrovnik Old Town and a lovely peaceful location to come back to relax after sightseeing. Our host Mariana was lovely and did everything to make our stay perfect, she welcomed us with cake and drinks on our arrival, gave us great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit during our stay and even helped us with our car. Bonus points for the lovely bakery close by and the trip to the Elaphiti Islands which was amazing. If we come Back to Dubrovnik we would definitely stay here again. Nothing, all was good.

The apartments are spotlessly clean, fully equipped with modern amenities, and feature balconies with breathtaking views of the Adriatic. Marijana, the host, is exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and attentive while giving guests plenty of space. A true gem and highly recommended for a memorable stay in Dubrovnik. • Alexis (10/5): Wonderful - Home from Home - The apartment had lots of space for our family of four (with teenagers), and was immaculately presented with beautiful quality finishings, and it had everything inside that we could possibly need from umbrellas (we had rain one evening) to packets of tissues. It was very comfortable, it was home from home. The pool was great too with plenty of sun loungers, and peaceful every time we were there. The host Marijana was lovely. She greeted us on arrival from our taxi, gave us tips about the local area and then very kindly treated us to delicious homemade bakes and drinks while showing us places to go on the map which was really helpful. Marijana also checked us in early which we really appreciated. She showed us around the apartment and had put some nice things in our fridge too. Thank you Marijana for making us feel very welcome and for going above and beyond. This was a wonderful place to stay. We loved the apartment, there is nothing that could improve it.

The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed — even thoughtful amenities for women, which is so appreciated when you’re traveling light. The bed was also very comfortable. The best part was our host, Marijana. She welcomed us warmly with water and sweets, gave us great tips for exploring the city, and even recommended an excellent restaurant for the next stop of our trip. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Marijana is simply top! Highly recommended.

It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything one would need while on holiday. The swimming pool area is also very clean and has plenty comfortable loungers. Marijana is a fantastic host...extremely friendly, helpful and gave us great tips on restaurants, trips etc. We really appreciated the food items and drinks she had left for us on arrival, a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a stay at these apartments. To get to the apartment one has to climb a flight of stairs from street level, but this is the norm in Dubrovnik, as there are stairs everywhere!

• Eloise (10/5): Dubrovnik was a wonderful place to stay and these apartments are in a fantastic location. - Apartments are in a great location set off the road so nice and quiet an din between the old Town (20 mins Walk) and Lapad (10 mins taxi/Bus) a local bakery, supermarket, pizza shop and bus stops all near by. Marijana was amazing, she met us on arrival, gave us lots of information on where to go and what to see, she greeted us with Cake and drinks and also we had milk and water, biscuits in the apartment which was a nice touch. The apartment was very clean and spacious with everything you needed. The pool was a lovely end to each day, nice and quiet and very clean. One of the best apartments we have stayed in. Nothing we could fault at all about the apartments but would mention there are a few steps upto the apartment but after a few days walking around you get used to them but it maybe difficult for people with any mobility issues but no other negatives at all. I would not hesitate to recommend these apartments.
• serena (10/5): - The flat was great, very clean and wonderfully furnished with a spectacular view from our balcony. But the real difference was made by the hostess, Marijana. She greeted us with a cake and was very helpful suggesting what to see, which boat tour to take and where to eat. The day of our departure we should have left the flat by 10 am and the flight was at 8 pm, but since it was raining heavily and my husband was sick, she let us stay till 6 pm. This was such a kind gesture that we don't really know how to thank her enough.

Tout était parfait du début à la fin : l’accueil de notre hôte a été d’une gentillesse rare, avec un délicieux gâteau maison à notre arrivée, des petites attentions dans notre chambre, et une disponibilité incroyable à chaque question. Le logement était au-delà de nos attentes : propre, spacieux, très bien équipé, avec une vue mer à couper le souffle, le tout à quelques minutes à pied seulement de la vieille ville de Dubrovnik. The apartment was beyond our expectations: clean, spacious, fully equipped, with a breathtaking sea view, and just a short walk from Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Our apartment had a lovely balcony area , which overlooked the pool and you could also see the sunset and views of the sea. Everything worked perfectly, including Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The pool was very peaceful, with plenty of sun loungers with umbrellas. This was a highlight of our stay to come back and chill at the pool after doing some exploring! The hosts were amazing and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. Marijana met us with beer and cake upon arrival and spent some time going through recommendations with us. Marijana was also very accommodating with check in/check out times. She also had some essentials in the apartment for us- beer and water in the fridge, washing pods, insect repellent etc. This has been our favorite place to stay and we will definitely be back. Amazing stay. Amazing facilities. Amazing hosts. Nothing - the perfect stay.

Mycket fräscht och välutrustat boende. Dubrovnik är en stad med mycket backar och boendet ligger ganska högt över havet, så man måste vara beredd på att gå en hel del i trappor och backar.
• Lisa (10/5): Fantastic apartment, fantastic host, great value for money! - It was immaculate and our host thought of everything we could possibly need during our stay here. Our host went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and looked after right from our arrival until we left. Highly recommend. Easy pick up spot at the garage just below the apartment complex for Ubers / taxis or if you like a walk, the old town is about a 25 / 30 minute walk away. Buses also nearby. The shared pool was also great to have on hand if you fancy a chilled day by the pool. Everything was great.

Highlight though was the view from the balcony (no 3) - I spent so much time just sitting on there . I will miss this view . As soon as we arrived we had home made cake which was lush - milk in fridge and other goodies and the most amazing birthday goodie pack . Washing tabs etc and bathroom stocked too . Nothing was too much - already planning my return . Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect.
• Lincoln (10/5): Exceptional apartment and pool. Great value of money. - This is an exceptional property. Very modern apartment beautifully furnished. Our 2 bed apartment had a great balcony with dining table, sun shade and wonderful sea view. The relatively small swimming pool is superb with plenty sun loungers. Marijana was a superb and accommodating host who met us with a cold beer / juice on arrival. The welcome pack in the fridge was much appreciated. This is one of the very best apartments we have stayed at. It's a 10/15 minute downhill walk to the old city, which is an easy walk. Dependent on your fitness / the heat, I'd recommend an uber for the return leg.

The pool was amazing and we spent some chill out days next to the pool. But best of all was the hosts were incredible. Marijana is the best host we have ever had bar none. Nothing. The stairs leading up can be interesting with cases.

• Kevin (9/5): Perfect apartment but steps hard work. - The accommodation had everything we needed. It was a very modern place. Very spacious and clean. Mariana was a lovely person, very welcoming and was always there to give us advice about places to visit and restaurants to go to. The only bad thing about the apartment were the amount of steps leading upto it. The taxi has to drop you off on the main road so you have to go up a lot of steps with your suitcases, which was hard work.

• Louise (10/5): Fabulous host, apartment and location - Marlin apartments are absolutely beautiful, so spacious, clean and modern. Everything you could possibly need is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machines, fridge freezer, smart TV, fabulous air con and private swimming pool, that was cleaned daily. Marijana our host was an amazing person, so friendly, kind and informative. She allowed us to check in early which was very much appreciated. On arrival she treated us to lovely refreshments and explained in detail about the local restaurants, bakeries, excursions and much much more. The apartment is very close to the old town, about 15 minutes strolling. We will hopefully return in the near future. Thanks for everything Marijana. Nothing

Explained all the major sights and good restaur - Modern, recently constructed, well-equipped with everything you need for a long-term stay. Large bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful, private pool area. Lots of storage for personal belongings and clothes. Wonderful view of Dubrovnik from the balcony. It requires a further walk from old town, about 1 km, and hence very quiet. Would be helpful to have a briefing book available to help provide more information about how to get around the area, and major activities/beaches.

The added bonus of having a pool to cool down after a day exploring was brilliant. There were ample sun beds and umbrellas and we in fact ended up having the pool to ourselves on occasion. The location is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the old town. Marijana is an excellent host, she is friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond. The stand out feature of the stay however was the welcome and attentiveness of our host Marijana - so warm friendly and efficient. She is the best host we have ever experienced at a rental property- 5 star. It was about a 15 walk downhill to Dubrovnik old town and around 30 mins to the new port where many boat excursions depart. Nothing. A little info on the bus system would have been helpful.

She even helped when our airport transfer at the end of the trip cancelled and helped us arrange a new transfer. Great clean apartment, with really good aircon. Fantastic comfy bed, and spacious bathroom. Lovely sitting area. Fantastic, well maintained and clean pool. Very private, but the host was on hand via phone for anything we needed and refreshed towels during our stay. Just be aware, it is a decent walk to the old town, but didn't bother us. nothing - everything was great

Great advice! I would 100% recommend these apartments.

The location was wonderful, just a short walk to the old town. The apartment itself was so spacious with everything you could possibly need and more. The apartment was so spacious, with a beautiful wrap around balcony and view. Marijana, the owner is nothing short of brilliant. Her hospitality upon arrival with cold drinks and fresh cake whilst she explained nearby amenities, to her continuous help whenever required for suggestions for food or places to visit. The apartment exceeded our expectations and the pictures don’t do it the justice it deserves! The communal pool and lounge area is lovely and such a treat in the heat, it feels very private and is very comfortable. Nothing. There are comments about the amount of stairs. This is just Dubrovnik and there are a lot so just be mindful if you aren’t able to carry your bags very well or would struggle with stairs.

The apartment was nice, modern, clean and had everything you could want with an amazing view of the sea. The pool is lovely and quiet and a great place to relax and take it easy. The apartment is just a short walk into the old town, but also within walking distance of the new town. This was our second stay at Marlin Blue Apartments and we can't wait to go back. She was really attentive and the apartment was as immaculate and clean. It is located within walking distance from the Old Town, and there are supermarkets nearby if you prefer cooking in the apartment.

The apartment fridge was filled with drinks and in the apartment it was like being at home, washing machines and powder, mosquito plug in and an umbrella for when it rained. The swimming pool was clean and the host was always available to advise on restaurants or information about the area. This was one of our best holidays, Dubrovnik is a great place but the quality of the apartment and host made it so relaxing. Everything was perfect.

Very spacious with lots of storage and all mod cons included. The pool area was also finished to a high standard with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.The host goes above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We got cake, snacks and drinks on arrival and she even brought refreshments to the pool some days. She was very helpful in providing details about the local area and was always a phone call away if we needed further information. Not a negative for us but the property is accessed by a path and stairs about 200 yards away and not accessible by car.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed including good air conditioning in the recent very hot temperatures. Lovely pool area which was immaculate and plenty of sunbeds. Marijana was an exceptional and we would highly recommend staying at these apartments. Upon leaving Marijana asked us what could be improved. Simply couldn’t think of anything.
