• Bruce and Janette (10/5): A quiet haven in Rome - Our hosts Eleonora and Pietro were fabulous. Nothing was to much trouble. They made us welcome before we arrived and helped with ideas and bookings when ours were cancelled. The location was ideal in a quiet neighourhood, especially appreciated after the busy hectic areas of Rome. Close to everthing you need, tourist areas, cafes, supermarkets.... wonderful. They even helped us to the taxi when we left!!!! Gracie! Nothing.

• Paula (10/5): We had a wonderful time here! - Excellent location, adorable and well-appointed apartment, and wonderful hosts! The Best Nest has that neat vibe of old Rome in Trastavere, but everything you need inside is completely modern, including a generous shower (biggest one on our trip) with a tankless water heater for hot water on demand, and a washer. Bonus for only a few steps up to get to the apartment, so the luggage transfer was easy for us older folks. Eleanora and Pietro were in touch in advance and met us on arrival with lots of tips and helped with transportation, etc. You can tell they really care! The street and the apartment are quiet but just around the corner from great restaurants and an easy walk to all kinds of sightseeing. I added a photo of the front of the building; the apartment is on an interior courtyard. I give this my highest recommendation, and it books up fast for a reason. Terrific! Can't think of anything. There is no dishwasher, but with so many restaurants within a few steps, it just was not a concern.

I mean we were welcomed from the moment we arrived, showered with a beautiful bottle of wine and loads of information on the best places to eat, drink and see Rome. The apartment was spotless, clearly it’s their pride and joy, and it shows. Everything from the quality of the linen to the soap and fittings were first class. So quiet as the apartment is at the rear of the street and a lovely courtyard. Simply stunning in every respect.

Washing machine, drying racks, hairdryer, coffee all provided. Air conditioning and ceiling fan were appreciated in the heat. The location is wonderful with easy access to Rome sights. Lots of fabulous restaurants on your doorstep. Eleanora and Pietro were exceptional hosts. I felt like they genuinely cared for us providing information, tips, arranged early airport transport for us. Best hosts ever. Thank you! We loved everything!

The apartment was clean, stylish and had a really comfortable atmosphere, exactly what we needed after busy days exploring the city. The location is fantastic. So many of Rome’s highlights were within walking distance, but the area still felt calm and local. We found lovely little cafés and restaurants just around the corner, which made everything even more special. Our hosts, Eleonora and Pietro, were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great recommendations and even left a small welcome gift, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly at home. As a couple on our honeymoon we were looking for something quiet, comfortable and romantic, and The Best Nest delivered on all fronts. They also met us on departure and walked us to the taxi area. We can highly recommend staying at the best nest, we will definitely be back!! There was nothing we didn’t like. • Madalyn (10/5): I wish they had properties in other places because I would be sure to stay in them. - We loved our stay at TBN. WHEN (not if!) we come back to Rome, we will be staying here again as long as it’s available. They went above and beyond for us in every way possible. The idea of “treat others the way you want to be treated” is what I think of when I think of Pietro and Eleonora. They cared for us in every way possible. To the extra small supplies they had for us at the home, to the snacks they gave us, to letting us check in early, to helping us navigate transportation when the trains were going on strike, to giving us food recommendations and entire PDFs and business cards of places to go, things to do, food to try. The shower was amazing, the water got hot, the water pressure was awesome. The room kept cool, the AC cooled down quickly, the bed was so comfy and cozy. The TV was a smart TV, there was an Alexa. It was calm and quiet at night where we were. It was safe. We have stayed a lot of places (in the United States and elsewhere!) and no place stands a chance against the experience we had here. This place is called The Best Nest for a good reason! It lives up to its name! I wish every host was as caring and thoughtful and compassionate as Eleonora and Pietro. So much love!!!!! We truly felt like we gained friends with them. If they had any other homes that they rented out I. time or elsewhere, I’d stay in them!!! We loved Rome in general, but TBN made it so much better and will lead us back. :) There was literally nothing that we didn’t like. It was all truly amazing and we felt so taken care of and thought about. We felt so blessed!!!
• Janet (10/5): A perfect stay in Rome - This is the perfect place for a stay in Rome for many reasons. First of all Trastevere is a beautiful area in Rome, very lively and eclectic. Location wise it’s also very close to main attractions, all walking distance. The property in itself, even though central, is very quiet. Extremely clean and equipped with all needs. • Michael (10/5): The Best Nest: cosy home away from home! - We greatly enjoyed our stay at the delightful TBN! Pietro and Eleonora were impeccable, highly professional hosts who went over and beyond to communicate with us, share their wealth of knowledge about Rome, and make our stay wonderful. They also warmly welcomed us with a lovely bouquet of carnations, snacks, and a bottle of wine! Trastevere is heaven for foodies, has easy access to public transportation and the historic centre of Rome, and if you are reasonably fit, it's only a leisurely 45 minute or so walk to the Vatican. The house was clean and well-stocked with household supplies, clean linens, and sundries. Wonderful amenities, including a washing machine, reliable Wi-Fi, cold A/C, a full kitchen and fridge, a very quiet, safe neighborhood, and a well-stocked library of books and suggestions for what to see, do, and where to dine. We couldn't have asked for more and hope to return soon! N/A: everything was wonderful!

Hosts were welcoming, friendly and engaged to meet our needs and answer any queries we had and make our visit smooth and hassle-free. We very much appreciated the “tourist”-/welcome” information provide in digital format and also the wealth of books and references available at the property. The drinks/snacks offered by our host was a beautiful gesture, again very much appreciated upon our arrival on a hot day! Great location, within a 15-20 minute walk from many of the key sights/tourist attractions and with many excellent cafes, bars, restaurants and things to do in the neighborhood. We particularly enjoyed coming “home” to a calm and quiet base-camp after spending time in busy, noisy tourist areas. Windows face onto courtyard and so natural light within the property is limited. That said, the courtyard is quiet and somewhat private and the outdoor seating provided an extra, bonus space to relax, unwind and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day!

Pietro and Eleonora were waiting to meet us at the accommodation and greeted us like old friends. Gave us great hints and recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. The house itself has everything you could possibly need and the little laundry room was an added bonus! The location of the Nest is probably the biggest plus....in the heart of the vibrant Trastevere area but only a short walk to all the main sights. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

• Fernanda (10/5): Simply Perfect! The Best Stay We’ve Ever Had in Rome! - Of all the times we’ve been to Rome, this was, without a doubt, the best experience! The Zest Nest is more than just a place to stay – it’s a true home in the heart of Trastevere, the perfect neighborhood for those who want to explore the city and enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience. The location couldn’t be better! It’s on the ground floor, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with luggage, yet it’s tucked away from the street, making it wonderfully quiet. The cleanliness was impeccable – everything was spotless, fresh, and perfectly organized, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, we had an issue with our arrival time, and Eleonora and Pietro were incredibly kind to allow us to check in much earlier than the standard time, which was a huge relief after a long journey. Every detail of the house has been carefully thought out. It has absolutely everything you could need – I could easily live there! The Moka coffee maker with coffee provided, the snacks, juices, and even a bottle of wine as a welcome gift from the hosts show their level of care. There’s also a washing machine with detergent available, which is a fantastic bonus. The comfort is outstanding. The bed is super cozy, the bedroom is completely dark at night (perfect for a great night’s sleep), the shower is amazing, and the heating and air conditioning ensure comfort in any season. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a stove and microwave, and there’s even a comfortable sofa for relaxing moments. But what truly made the difference was the hospitality of Eleonora and Pietro. From the very first contact, they were incredibly attentive, sending us valuable recommendations for places to visit and eat, leaving books and business cards in the house, and always being available to help. We had a difficult situation during our trip when my husband lost his phone, and they literally saved our trip, going above and beyond to help us find it. -

They provided us with great tips for Rome, booked us a car to the airport for a very early flight and followed this up to make sure we arrived in time. The Best Nest is located in Trastevere which is a vibrant part of Rome. It has all the facilities we needed and is clean and quiet and full of character. We loved our time staying there. Nothing. • Michael (10/5): Superb - We were met by our fabulous hosts Pietro and Eleonora on arrival after clear communications via WhatsApp regarding directions and arrival times. We were given a tour of the lovely apartment and were given local restaurant recommendations, which we took advantage of. The location is brilliant, right in the heart of Trastevere but still very quiet and tranquil. 10 minute walk to Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona and easy walk to Colosseum. One of the best places we have ever stayed, and a wonderful way to end our Europe tour. Highly recommend.

Best of all though are the owners Pietro and Elenora. They restore one’s faith in the genuine goodness of people. So welcoming and helpful. We hope one day they can visit us in Oregon! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The fact our flights had been delayed by 2 hours did not phase this lovely couple one bit. Upon arrival they gave us invaluable information about the area and the city - things that only a local would know - the kind of things that help make your holiday start right away. The accommodation is beautifully well finished and spacious. Having visited in the height of summer, the flat is also wonderfully air conditioning and quiet. Would highly recommend.

They always available to help us solve problems and provide assistance, and told us the details we need to pay attention to when checking in. The interior of the room is lovely. We enjoyed the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Both my mother and I love this cottage. We were very satisfied with this trip to Rome. The cottage is in a courtyard with several families. The courtyard and the cottage have separate keys, which is no problem for us. Only the bedroom has air conditioning, which can be a bit hot in the summer if you don't stay in the bedroom. The interior of the room is very design, but the mirror is facing the bed, which is not conducive to sleep for Chinese people. Although it didn't affect me much, it affected my mother who has a light sleep.

• Darya (10/5): Exceptional - The Best Nest is a great place, and Pietro and Eleonora are the most amazing hosts. The place is immaculately clean, I don't think I have ever seen such level of cleanliness in a rented property. The location is the absolute best -- it is in the middle of Trastevere, which is a walking distance to everything in Rome, but at the same time it is very quiet (a very important feature when there are so many partying people in the area famous for its food scene). The hosts are very helpful and thoughtful, and The Best Nest is equipped with absolutely everything one might need during a Roman vacation. We were particularly happy about the washing machine (it was at the end of a long trip) and a great shower, and the bottle of wine Pietro chose to gift us was quite good too. We are already planning to return!

The Nest is a really lovely cute cost apartment in a fantastic neighbourhood. It's quite and calm while still being very accessible to the bustle of the neighbourhood. It's also extremely well situated to make walking to all the major tourist sites possible - walking is a great way to explore Rome! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome.
• Maria (10/5): The best stay I ever had - It is an amazing apartment and amazing hosts. The apartment has literally everything you need for a life in a foreign country: washing machine, utensils, warm blankets, corkscrews, A LOT of books (good ones!) about Italy and sightseeing. The shower is great: with a good pressure and hot. You have a possibility to recycle. And everything is spotless clean, which was very important for me. The area Trastevere is my favourite one in Rome - there are like hundreds of good bars and restaurants, a beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere 3 min walking, the best Enoteca with natural wine 10 min (l'antidoto), museum of Rome in Trastevere - great photo exhibitions always. So you can easily spend the whole vacation not leaving the area) But in the same time it is very easy to reach all the main places in Rome, 30 min walking to Colosseo or Pantheon. It is almost right on the river bank of Tiber - that was important for me for morning runs. But the most incredible about the apartment is its hosts. Eleonora and Pietro - they so attentive of details, they so caring, they helped me a lot with tips and useful links about storages, taxis, buses and so on. Everything I needed - they were in contact constantly Everything was perfect

Not much sound proof at all. Bed was not the most comfortable but decent enough.

Obviously, the owners/hosts have put careful thought into every aspect of this apartment. The decor is fresh and cozy, the location in Trastevere (our favorite Rome neighborhood) is convenient to public transit, groceries, many restaurants, and just a great starting point to explore Rome. The kitchen is well equipped --- you can actually cook a whole meal (unlike so many apartments that advertise a kitchen). Eleonora and Pietro are so helpful, available for any questions, there to check you in and out and even order a taxi to the airport. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend. Not a thing.

There are lots of lovely details that show that they really love welcoming and helping their guests. The accomodation is in a great location in Trastevere which is the area we like best for dinner and drinks. The apartment is cosy and well equipped and the bed is big and very comfy. We hired a vespa and easily found parking right by the accomodation each day. If you are looking for a self-catering apartment in a great location with helpful hosts then this is the place for you!

The apartment was very quiet, cosy, very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed.
