• Jordan (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at Gio Roma, just by the Colosseum. The apartment is beautifully tucked away — close enough to be right round the corner from everything, but quiet and peaceful at night. The location was perfect for getting around Rome, with taxis always easy to find nearby. The decor is incredible — really quirky and full of character — and the whole place felt stylish and welcoming. The host was fantastic too, always available on WhatsApp and on hand with anything we needed throughout our stay. Great value for money and we would 100% recommend staying here!
• Inga (10/5): Einfach wunderschön! - Es war einfach wunderschön! Die Lage ist perfekt – besser geht es kaum. Sobald man aus der Wohnung tritt, sieht man direkt das Kolosseum – einfach beeindruckend und jedes Mal aufs Neue ein Highlight. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig, über zwei Etagen verteilt und unglaublich stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles ist wunderschön gestaltet und bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Es war wirklich an alles gedacht – besonders beeindruckt hat uns, dass alles für den täglichen Bedarf und die Pflege vorhanden war. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Auch die Betten sind sehr bequem – wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war die liebevoll vorbereitete Geburtstagsüberraschung. Diese Aufmerksamkeit hat unseren Aufenthalt noch unvergesslicher gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen! Nichts
• Kelly (10/5): Book this. You will not regret. Ticks every box - Everything. The location, cleanliness, the facilities, the decor. We are frequent travellers and usually there is at least one thing that irks on a stay but there is honestly nothing! If i was going out of my way to fault find I would say the stairs are a bit daunting, faultless in every other way!!! Nothing, as above mentioned I personally had no issue with stairs, if anything I feel the added to the decor and vibe but can understand other’s anxieties around them

• Heather (10/5): We had a wonderful stay - A beautifully styled property, extremely well equipped and super clean and comfortable Our only comment would be that the stairs are quite dangerous and should have a handrail the entire staircase, my husband did slip on the last stair and I was quite nervous going up and down without a handrail

• Surabhi (10/5): Would highly recommend - I recently stayed at Gio Roma in Rome with my partner, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from the Colosseum – and at night you get the most stunning views of this iconic landmark. The apartment itself is beautiful and very spacious. It has a well-equipped kitchenette with all the amenities you could need, and two separate bathrooms, which was incredibly convenient. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. If I had to mention one small thing, the bathroom lighting could be a bit brighter, but that’s a very minor detail. Overall, I loved the design and aesthetics of the place. It felt stylish, comfortable, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Gio Roma to anyone visiting Rome. It’s a beautiful place and truly made my stay special! -

• Philip (10/5): Excellent location, home away from home with all the luxuries we wanted! - Excellent facility of high quality and location was perfect to everything metro, Coleseum, walking around to the churches etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!. It was almost like our own apartment in Italy, with cooking facilities (we cooked breakfast daily), washing machine which was well appointed. And it just felt like home! A bit noisy during the day with tourists. Maybe the AC blower in the room needs to be looked into (but to be fair the weather was crazy hot!!)
• Raj (9/5): Lovely stay with amazing little touches that really make you feel like you could live in this suite - This stay exceeded our expectations. First off the location is understated; it is right beside the colosseum and beside 2 resturants, 1 coffee shop, and a gelato shop and walking distance to all the nice areas of monti neighbourhood. I would have my coffee in the morning while looking at the colosseum. We loved the layout and the decor as well. There's tons of space and could sleep someone downstairs on the massive couch and upstairs on the day bed. Me and my wife loved the thoughtful art deco decor and the small little touches everywhere, even the chess table side table which we used often while taking breaks between site-seeing. The host was super responsive and offered lots of help in arranging transport and recommendations, thanks Antonio! We will be back! It is definitely expensive but well worth your money given the location and the squarefootage of the apartment. There are cheaper options within the area but you are definitely getting your money's worth. I think it is worth the splurge.

Very comfortable bed and a couple of cozy daybeds We had some issues with AC, but the property manager Antonio was very helpful. It does feel like AC unit in the bedroom is not as efficient as the one doenstairs

Second, the apartment is located in a wonderful place, near the Colosseum, near the Colosseum metro station and in the magical Monti neighborhood. The apartment is perfect and equipped for a stay including everything you can think of. Also, the design of the apartment is wonderful and impressive. Highly recommended!!

You can see the Colosseum just after stepping out the front door, but the apartment is on a quiet street that feels both peaceful and in the middle of all the action, in the right way. It's a stunning apartment, cozy and modern and with everything you could need to feel at home. We will never forget our stay here. Nothing!

It had a kitchen, washer and dryer, and 1.5 baths. The decor was brilliant and the place was very clean. Antonio was our property manager, who was very accommodating and responsive to anything and everything. The location was amazing, as it was a block away from the Colosseum. This is a gem of a find. Brava! Perfecto! A must for couples. Everything, you name it.

Extremely dark interior. Staircase is precarious with rails that are not really safe. Bars on doors and windows are also not safe if there is an emergency. Door is automatic and I’m not sure what would happen if you needed to get out and the power went out.

The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved using the ortigia soaps, daily house cleaning and waking up early to enjoy the colosseum at the end of the street without the crowds was fantastic too. Being close to the metro and having the washing machine after a long flight were an extra bonuses We would have loved a milk frother to accompany the Nespresso machine, although we made do with heating the milk on the stove. Tea was provided, however, we would have loved some English breakfast tea.

• Luiz (10/5): Made me fall in love with Rome all over again. - The location is unbeatable. Literally a few steps away from the coliseum and the subway. Plus, there are plenty of great spots to eat at. And, if you need to leave your bags nearby, there are plenty of "nanny bag" locations. Canm't wait to come back. It's a bit dark, but it's because we value our privacy! Also, the AC command console could be a lot easier to use. So only minor things. It's truly a hidden gem.

Not a big deal, but my wife has to skip one shower. Owner could have been more clear that early check in is not possible, and directed us right away to a luggage locker. In the end he did and its helpful to us, but we have to drag our luggages through the street.

• Sue (10/5): We loved our holiday, the city and our apartment. - The apartment was superb, especially cooking and bathroom facilities. In an excellent position. 2 minutes to Colosseum but also close to small cafes frequented by locals. Plenty of places to eat. Near a metro station and buses to get into centre. We gave slightly lower marks for comfort because of staircase which was a challenge for 76 year old with dodgy knees and a fear of open heights. Also no external area or view.
• Essa (10/5): One of the best places I've stayed in during my travels - This place was incredibly wonderful, close to every beautiful place, I could go to every special place in Rome from this location on foot. The person responsible for the accommodation, Antonio, always responded to me with any request I asked of him, and at any time, he is really a wonderful person and is the best example for Italian youth. I thank him a lot for his kind and wonderful treatment. I loved Rome a lot after this experience and I will repeat it soon because the place and the city deserves to be repeated There is nothing bad, everything was so beautiful

• Jennifer (10/5): Perfection - My daughter and I stayed at Gio Roma in August 2022. We were delighted with the the property. It is impeccably designed and very comfortable. Every finish and amenity is top of the line. It has central AC, which works perfectly. They sent us a web link with all kinds of useful information for our stay. It’s hard to come up with anything negative! It is one of the nicest apartments in which I have stayed. The staircase is made of perforated steel. The design is very cool, but if you are sensitive to heights, it could make you a bit uncomfortable.

A big plus of having washing facilities! And lastely the bed. Best part of our stay. So luxurious and so comfortable.
