Guest Reviews
- Bernadette (6/5): - Location was great and bed was comfortable The apartment was very tired. Couch broken, kitchen facilities very basic, only one towel for the whole week. No teatowels
- Luise (10/5): -
- Deyana (10/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! - Location was excellent! Convenient to many restaurants, shops and attractions. Paolo and Felicia were extremely nice and helpful!
- Marianna (7/5): - Location was perfect. There was no AC in second bedroom
- Runar (8/5): Fint for 3 personer en uke i Roma - Flott beliggenhet, rolig område, uteplasser Ikke noe problem
- Ashraf (10/5): Highly recommended and definitely we will book it agian - The staff were so friendly and helpful
Everything in the property was well prepared and clean
The location is so good near fountain trevie Everything is perfect
- Kaysha (9/5): Beautiful stay in Rome, close to metro! - Beautiful and spacious apartment with balcony and terrace. After long days of sight seeing, it was lovely coming back to this apartment. Nice to have the AC as it was very hot during our time there. The beds were comfortable and we liked having the extra room. There is a nice kitchen and we did a good amount of cooking. The washing machine was very convenient. Close to the metro and easy to get around. The host, Paolo, was also very friendly and helpful. The shower curtain blows inward and sticks to you while you're showering. I wonder if a heavier, plastic shower curtain or one with weights would be better.
- David (10/5): Would stay here again and again…it was all wonderful and it was a great location to explore Rome..Grazie Mille Paulo - Clean, comfortable, location, outdoor space, coffee shops, markets, pharmacy, metro…all just steps away. Paulo was so responsive and made it so easy for us… Nothing
- Jo (9/5): Really enjoyed our trip to Rome - The property was ideal for us. One single room and one double room. Really well located. 2 minutes from metro station. 15 mins walk from Trevi fountain. 20 mins from Spanish steps and 30 mins from Colosseum.
- Marianne (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment and host. I recommend this apartment for a trip to Rome
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Location excellent, in a good safe area and next to the metro but also bus stops that we used more than the metro as they are very practical
The apartment is comfortable (not the pillows though) and spacious though the kitchen is small (however we didn't cook so...). Strangely the water is very hard with lots of mineral deposits, for example in the dishwasher.
Very quiet apartment, not much traffic noise as the apartment is on the 4th floor, and there don't seem to be others using the building much (maybe in the day as there are offices). Having a washing machine and 2 bathrooms was great.
Public transport in Rome is fine, you can use your contactless bank card (as a European so no fees) to pay for the buses and the metro. They cap at €7 per day so we benefitted from this. Restaurants near the apartment are a little more on the expensive side (but not that bad), they are cheaper and better restaurants are in Trevestere (Tonarello and Canonica and they are next to each other).
There is a decent sized city supermarket just around the corner which sells breakfast things, bread etc.
- Svetlana (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, super comfortable, in the center of the center of Rome. Just 10 minutes by legs to Trevi, 30 minutes to Burgese, 20 minutes to Pantheon.
Metro, buses, taxi station just 5 minutes from the door.
Roof and balcony is very nice plus to this apartment. Paulo, very nice and gentle person, was always ready to help us in any problem or question.
Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Very recommended place to stay , travel and rest in the beautiful Rome. Definitely will stay there next time Nothing to say
- Jaejung (10/5): Feel Roma in house. - value of typical Romano’s house more than 100 years.
Amenity(Ceiling High)
Mildness.
- Ramona (10/5): I would recommend this place - The location was good. We were able to walk to sights. It was very clean and Paolo was very accommodating. We arrived about 1130 in the morning and he let us leave our luggage while the apartment was cleaned. We went to the coffee shop that’s 2-3 doors down and had wonderful coffee and pastries. We went to that coffee shop every morning! The balconies were wonderful! There’s the typical noisy Rome traffic outside but you can’t hear it with the doors closed. There’s air conditioning in the living room and in the smaller bedroom. The weather was great and we really didn’t need it. We just opened the windows and balcony doors. It looks like they’re renovating across the street but it didn’t really bother us and they would stop by 5 pm. The shower was small, but we made it work
- Brenda (8/5): Spacious and close to everything! - Location. Terrace, but it rained a lot. Two bathrooms, bath tub, spacious living area Noise from the street. No coffee machine. Someone was renovating nearby and occasionally there was loud noise. Wish there would have been instructions on the washing machine
- Wayne (8/5): Very good - Location, balconies
- Oskar (7/5): Great location for the accomondation but everything else was not like promised - The location was great and the accomondation was okay. The flat had two bathrooms witch was a positive thing. One of the AC worked so you could cool down the place. We also got the room already at 11.30 witch was a good and Paolo was very friendly. Paolo also fixed the airport transportations that worked perfctly. The flat was not as clean as you would like. Lots of dust everywere and the floors where dirty. The dishwasher did not work and the scent of it was horrible. The bigger bedrooms ac did not work and the terrace was so dirty that we had to clean it before you could use it, floor, tabels and chairs.
- Rachael (9/5): A beautiful appartment in the best location. Great for our family. - This is a lovely apparently right in the centre of Rome and walking distance from all the attractions. It is also just down the street from many restaurants and the metro. It was surprisingly very quiet for its location. Paolo was a wonderful host and greeted us at the property and was always available if we had any questions. We loved staying here and would stay again. The appartment also had a bath and air conditioning which was great! Shower in the bathroom was a little small but I think this common in Rome. Our daughter’s room didn’t have air conditioning but it was ok with the door open.
- Joana (8/5): Very good -
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely location - The location was great, a Metro stop at the end of the road, the Spanish Steps a few streets away. Lots of nearby cafes and restaurants. Had an outside terrace which was nice. Paolo very helpful, we had a small issue and he sorted it very quickly. 2 sets of keys were handy. Apartment on 5th floor so the lift was brilliant. The Air-conditioning was only in the lounge and the second single bedroom. There was only a fan in the main bedroom and it was very hot. We could have done with a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, but we found a little shop that was open late.
- Katherine (10/5): I highly recommend this fantastic apartment in Rome. - I highly recommend this fantastic apartment in Rome. We stayed there for four days, and it was very conveniently located, within walking distance of all major landmarks and close to bus and train lines. The apartment was spacious and exceeded our expectations. It was great to have two bathrooms, a large fridge, and, most importantly, a washing machine. Paulo was very accommodating and helpful. The only downside was that the lift broke down on the first day, so climbing the stairs in the heat for four days and carrying our luggage down on departure wasn't fun. However, this was no one's fault, just an unfortunate occurrence.
- Alina (9/5): Nice apartment with everything you need in a very convenient location -
- Lisa (10/5): We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit. - We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The host provided very clear directions on locating the property and how to access our room. They even provided restaurant suggestions which we found every helpful. This B&B is very well situated near shopping, nightlife, and is very near the train station. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. It was very pleasant sitting on the balcony watching all of the activity below while eating our breakfast.
- Tuan (10/5): A little gem right in the heart of Rome! Love it! - What a gem, spacious apartment with a terrace which we left the door opened for fresh air! We loved to eat out in Rome of course, but also had everything we needed in the apartment, for healthy breakfast, fresh fruits and vegies. The location is just perfect, we could walked everywhere, the train station is literally one minute walk away where we could take public transport to Foro Italico for the tennis. Rome termini is only 2 stations away for any connections! Paolo is an attentive and responsive host. I felt so bad for miscalculating the time it took to get out of the airport and let Maria waited for us for over two hours, but they never complained once. We should have taken Paolo’s offer for airport transfer for just a little bit extra fees without the stress, catching the taxi from Rome airport was a bit of a nightmare for us. Overall highly recommended this property and the host. Thanks again Paolo and Maria Nothing.
- Kathy (7/5): Central location - 2bed and 2 bath and nice size rooms Needed some napkins or paper towels in kitchen.
Bring your own shampoo and shower gel. None provided
- Ulla (7/5): Overall good , didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment - Great location.
Good beds. Not quite as " well equipped" as advertised.
No Coffee machine
Cleaning pretty superficial
- John (7/5): Good - Very nice, well equipped apartment with two bathrooms. Perfect for a party of 3. Very spacious and well furnished. Just 50 meters from the Barberini metro and 5-10 minutes walk to Spanish steps or Trevi fountain.Totally quiet. Tiny terrace has no view but at least the possibility to sit outside if it's warm. Accessible by elevator, although there are a few steps up to the kitchen. Host was pleasant and accommodating. We had no problems.
- Rebecca (7/5): Great place! Full of character, great patio, amazing location. Shower small, access difficult - The location was AMAZING! We took the Big Bus tour and there was a stop really close. It was super close to the metro as well. There was a great bistro with coffee and pastries just next door as well as a wonderful restaurant. The apartment was really beautiful and full of character. I also loved the roof top patio. In previous apartments for rent, there was always a bottle of water in the fridge and converters and an easy way to charge our phones. That is always a nice touch. Not required - but made to feel welcomed. The shower was really small. It did suck to have to wait for 20 minutes for the person to come and give us the keys.
- Lin (10/5): Feels like home - location was perfect. about a 10 second walk to the barberini metro. it was quite obvious that the property is located in a safe neighbourhood - the streets were well lit, an italian restaurant downstairs that is open till late, cinema and supermarket just in the street behind. there is also some nice hotels around the area. very close to local shops / bars, but the property is off a smaller street so you dont hear any noise at night. it is a quick 7-10 min walk to Trevi fountain, thought it may take a bit longer as there are many shops worth visiting on the way.
the property itself felt quite safe - need a separate key to actually enter the building itself. There was an elevator which was greatly appreciated. As a family of 3 we felt quite comfortable and safe. We booked the apartment with terrace (top floor) so it literally felt like we were the only ones staying there. kitchen was well equipped and lighting around the house was adequate. beds are comfy enough. Bathroom was more spacious than all the other bathrooms we experienced around europe. Bedding and towels appeared clean with no odour. It really felt like we were living in our own Roman home, the exposed brick interior was just lovely.
We had a small request at the beginning of our stay and the management was very quick to respond. Keys were handed to us in person on the day, which was nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it really felt like home away from home. Would love to return to this property when we have the opportunity again.

- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Douglas (10/5): Spacious, Comfortable Apartment in Rome - We loved this apartment. It was conveniently located, spacious (all rooms: living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom), and had access to a wonderful, private rooftop seating area as well as a balcony outside the living room. The kitchen was very well equipped. The refrigerator was large and we had all the pots, pans, and utensils necessary to prepare breakfast and dinners. (This saved us money on eating expenses.) The entire apartment was very quiet; we heard no noise from neighbors or the street and we slept well. I wish we had had more time in this wonderful place. I cannot imagine staying in a better apartment for our four-night stay in Rome. The only issue we had was that the apartment heating system was on timer and it did not come on until 7 AM. We needed it about an hour before this because we had to get up at 6 am a couple of mornings for tours. The apartment didn't start to get warm until about the time of our morning departures. Normally you wouldn't think about needing heat in Rome, but we were there the first part of January. It got very cold outside at night (ca. 1-3 C). I would simply ask that the heating be started from 6 am instead of 7:00. Everything else here is great!
- Bhavesh (9/5): Clean apartment with a great location - The location of the property was ideal. Close to the metro and short walk from Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. It’s a lovely square with all the amenities nearby like Tigre supermarket and lots of coffee shops to grab breakfast.
The apartment was clean and included all the required living essentials like iron, ironing board, kettle cutlery.
The view from both balconies were awesome 😎 If you’ve difficulty with stairs, the access to the apartment on the 5th floor is very narrow and lots of steps. But there is a small lift to carry max 4 people at a squeeze.
Not the fault of the property but it was quite noisy with the sound of the metro at night when trying to sleep, but it’s expected when close to the station.
- Vivien (10/5): Wonderful apartment close to many beautiful sights in Rome - Beautiful apartment in a top location. It is bigger than the pictures suggest. It was in such a good location to be able to walk to so many things. We loved the fact it had a washing machine as this stay was half way through a big trip and we needed to wash our clothes. It's surprising how many rentals didn't offer a washing machine. We would happily stay here again!
- Cretu (10/5): very nice apartament amazing! -
- Penny (9/5): Great location, great comfort, definitely would come back. - The property was in a great location, we walked to all the sites. The large lounge room was perfect to relax in, well air conditioned with two bathrooms. Grocery store and transportation was close by. We bought our croissants and coffee every morning from the coffee shop next door. The property also had a small, very small elevator that was much appreciated. The property had a tiny shower, maybe the bathtub could have a shower curtain as an option to use as a backup plan.
- Jurgitavi (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place. Paolo was very kind, Beautiful terrace. Everything was perfect. Thank You Paolo.
- Anatolii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Päivi (10/5): Good place to stay. - Location was extra ordinary good, everything was more or less in walking distance. Apartment was nice, clean and house was silent. Also washing machine etc. were avaiable! Excellent choice! I think there’s not so much to add.
- Moran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andy (10/5): Proper city break. Sights, food and drink all within walking distance. - Location was excellent. Right in the middle of town. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop nearby as well as all the sights we wanted to see. Paolo, the host, arranged a transfer for us from the airport and after the hand over of the keys we were left alone to enjoy ourselves. Couldn't find any faults.
- Denise (9/5): Highly recommend this accommodation - The apartment was perfect for our stay in Rome. It is in a traditional style building, very close to Barberini Square - perfect location and was extremely clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped (though we didn't use it to cook), the beds were very comfortable and the 3rd bed was a proper bed in its own room (and not a sofa bed). The outside terrace plus the roof top terrace were lovely, such a bonus to be able to sit outdoors in the sun in March. Paulo the host was delightful and met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and explain how everything worked and gave us recommendations for local restaurants (away from the tourist ones). As there was not a booking for the day after we were leaving, Paulo allowed us to stay in the apartment until until we left for the airport which was super helpful. None
- Mohammed (10/5): best apartment in Rome - everything nothing
- John (10/5): Perfect location, very nice owner would stay again tube station restaurants supermarket all close by -
- Awerfremjka (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): great trip and great accommodation. - location great. near taxis, metro , buses and cafes. Downstairs restaurant excellent. close walking distance to many sites and supermarket
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - Lots of space in the apartment, two bathrooms were very big and clean. Washing machine was very useful as well. Kitchen was a bit small but wasn’t a big deal for us since we didn’t really use it. The terrace was also pretty small for it to be in the title of the property, but overall a very enjoyable stay.
- Gian (9/5): Superb - Great location and great terrace
- Zuzana (8/5): Roma - Great location, Barberini metro stop, supermarket just around the corner. The terrace was in the inner block without a view, it was not covered, it was hot there, it was not possible to sit there.
