Guest Reviews
- Harriet (8/5): Bra men störande ljud - Läget
Sköna sängar Väldig störande miljö runtomkring
- Martin (9/5): Came with nic ex Italian breakfast - Lovely place location good
- Kateřina (9/5): -
- Paul (7/5): - Location was good Flushing the toilet is an issue
- Donna (7/5): - We loved the location. It accommodated the 5 of us well. The bidet wasnt working and the toilet was difficult to flush. It didn't always work with pumping it. With 5 people and 1 bathroom, not good!!!
- Lisbeth (8/5): - Ligger meget centralt. Gåafstand fra seværdigheder og indkøb Lejligheden er lidt slidt
- Guillermo (10/5): Muy buena - La ubicacion y comodidad

- Anonymous (10/5): Gracious host, amazing location, great stay! - First of all, Giorgio is unbelievably gracious and kind. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person, and the experience exceeded how kind he was through text. He offered free breakfast at his bar, which the staff there was also just as gracious and kind. It felt like home, and they felt like family - which was the experience we dreamed of.
The place itself is in an amazing location, and extremely spacious for my family of 4. We all loved it and would go back! The only thing I wasn't aware of was that there may be a lot of noise at night with people on the streets, even with the windows closed. But it wasn't too much or too late in the night.
One thing I knew beforehand that there was just 1 bathroom for all of us, and it was a little bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, and the toilet didn't always flush easily. But these are minor things compared to the overall experience and people.
- Anonymous (10/5): Feels like home. Host is the best. - Host is super amazing and gracious and helpful. Made the stay worth it. Place is big enough for 2 kids and 2 adults to live life. Location is excellent. It’s a tad bit noisy while we are asleep due to random bird calls or people talking, but not terrible.
- Subhajit (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- גילי (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing 3 minutes walk from piazza di popolo and 1 minute from via del Corso. Very close to the metro. There's a supermarket next to the apartment the owner is great. The communication with him was good. He bought us 6 bottles of water the breakfast is 2 minutes from the apartment in a restaurant and there you can put your suitcases if the apartment is not ready
- Danielle (8/5): Great location - Apartment is in a great location with lots of restaurants close by, it was clean and tidy and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay
- Fabricio (7/5): Great location, really good option for the cost. - Perfect location, good WiFi, very good service from the breakfast staff. One bed was not up to standards. Some basic items missing in the apartment. Maybe a little noisy in the weekend at night, but that is not an issue with the apartment.
- Rebecca (8/5): Fantastic property, great location - Excellent location, lovely decor, great arrangement with local cafe for breakfast Food / smashed beer bottle in the freezer
- Barry (9/5): Apartment was very central and clean and ideal for 5 adults. - Breakfast was excellent lovely fresh pastries Maybe if there were more towels supplied. We were staying for 5 days and only got replacement towels on our last day.
It’s been mentioned in previous posts about the noise from the street, it’s not bad and you tend to block out any noise after a while.
- Silvia (5/5): The apartment is close to historic centre but needs to be renovated. - The apartment was in a great location, close to the historic centre. It was a bit old and dirty, especially in the kitchen. Also, I woke up every night because of street noise (people, garbage vans, etc.). The windows need to be changed, pretty old.
The small bed was uncomfortable. We had a Nordic blanket but not a cover, it was pretty old and yellow.
- Nóra (9/5): Superb -
- Hayden (8/5): Enjoyable, comfortable and great location - No tea towels or dish washing detergent.
- Marni (9/5): Fantastic family property in great location - We loved this property, great location, family friendly, awesome host, definitely recommend.
- Gary (10/5): Excellent property 3 minute walk from Spanish steps and a lot of fantastic restaurants - Clean tidy great base to visit Rome Nothing
- Sharon (9/5): Superb location and comfortable base within walking distance of all main attractions in Rome - Clean, comfortable beds and sofa, good aircon in 2 main bedrooms and living room. Great shower and bathroom facilities. Kitchen in good condition and well equipped. Secure property, quiet and great location. Overall perfect apartment for a group of 4, as 3rd bedroom has no aircon but that’s feedback more than an issue.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (5/5): Good location but needs to be cleaner and fix air con - Location, not too many stairs with luggage, host was kind to allow us to leave luggage after checkout Bathroom wasn’t very clean, air con wasn’t very effective in bedrooms and main bedroom air con leaked water all over our bag, no light in main bedroom just lamps, lounge not comfortable in living space.
- Patricia (4/5): Bathroom and kitchen are not very clean -
- Gina (5/5): Passable - Location Just to noisy
- Stacey (9/5): Fantastic central location, spacious apartment - Apartment size is very good especially for such a central location. Location is fantastic! Communication with the owner and support staff was excellent. It smelled really nice upon entering the apartment and was very clean. The bathroom and kitchen are Ok but with some small touches, they could be modernised to make the apartment a really top notch stay!
- Liis (8/5): good! - The location is great! The breakfast was excellent, we had a choice! Apartment was nice, air conditioners in every room. There was a mess to get the apartment as somebody mixed up the apartments and in our apartment were wrong people already settled in. So, we had to wait until they went out.. Although we informed at least 2 hours in advance, what time we are arriving.
- Nadia (8/5): Very good - Location excellent
Spacious Need to fix shower as water did not drain well !
- Julie (5/5): Disappointing accommodation, great location - The beds were comfortable and the location Not very clean, kitchen sponge old and dirty. Stains on the bedding.
Bathroom needed to be cleaner, no soap
Some lights not working
No tea towel or kettle
- Hitesh (3/5): Poor - The location was great - very central and walking distance to everything. We didn’t use any public transportation or car/taxi while we are there.
The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. Can not sleep. There is absolutely no sound proofing and the neighbours sound like they are standing next to you while you are sleeping. We had very poor nights sleep while we were there. Others have made similar comments about double glazing the windows but owner has not done so. It doesn’t matter which room you are in, there is a lot of street noise.
Shower is also too narrow and so is bathroom.
- Joetta (10/5): I would stay here again. - As the name implies, the apartment was cozy and close to everything we needed. We walked to restaurants, shops, basilicas, piazzas, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It slept our group of six people with plenty of space and was well equipped. The Italian breakfast (included) was delicious. The owner was responsive to our requests. Nothing
- Ann (8/5): Ideal location - The apartment was large enough for our family of 5. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. The location was ideal as it was among lots of restaurants, shops and close to the subway. We stayed for 4 nights and it was ideal for our needs. Because the apartment is in a central city location it is very noisy. Noisy late at night as well as very early morning. It is therefore a compromise. If you want to be where all the action is, you have to put up with it and we would definitely put up with it again.
- Lia (8/5): Very good -
- Regina (10/5): Beautiful, large property. Excellent Location. Excellent host. - Great property. Very big (which is rare in Rome!). Every mod-con you could want. A nice quiet side street but just meters from a bustling pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. Right in the middle of all the action. Host very helpful, great communication, everything ran smoothly and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome. Hearty brekkie in a cafe just around the corner. Can't recommend this property enough!
- Imre (10/5): Perfect location and comfy apartment -
- Melissa (8/5): Best location. Apartment was very comfortable for a family of five - Location was great. Not many stairs to carry bags up to room. Best location for the main city highlights, most was 5-30min walking distance. Very easy to catch a taxi. Was very hard to flush the toilet, you needed to press a pump button for the water to flush down. The street cleaners and rubbish collectors were very noisy and worked at the most inconvenient time, every morning (very early in the morning) but I did appreciate how clean and non smelly the area was.
- Donny (9/5): Rome Stay - Perfect location.
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb - Perfect location. The owner was very friendly. Too much noice. The windows definitely need renovation in order to adsorb the noise from the steet
- Mcinnes (5/5): Passable -
- Jacqui (9/5): Great location. Description needs adjusting - Excellent location on a quiet street. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped in general. Air con was very welcome! The lady who met us was rather offhand and keen to be on her way quickly which did not give us chance to check everything over before she left.
The sofa bed was not as described: it was an ordinary sofa. The greeter was confused as to why we needed linen for it (there was no pillow available or quilt, which suggests that the sofa bed was rarely used). She suggested we could share a bed! As a group of four friends, we needed four places to sleep, and we booked this property based on the inclusion of the sofa bed in the description.
There was no electric kettle in the kitchen in spite of being listed in the description.
The free toiletries turned out to be 4 sachets of shower gel that could also be used as shampoo (one sachet each to cover 5 days!) and two tiny bars of soap. Disappointingly mean spirited, especially given the price we paid
In the original description, breakfast was mentioned as included, and three types/options given. We asked the greeter about it but she knew nothing of it. Later, when we checked the online description, this had now tchanged to breakfast offered at €5 per person per day.
- Amit (7/5): Good -
- Aliya (8/5): Good place for a family to stay in Rome - It's a beautiful old flat in the heart of Rome. Everything was good! It's a bit expensive, but it is expected for the area. It was very noisy in the neighbourhood. There was a party till very late.
- Niket (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (5/5): Location is great! Don’t expect much else. - The location was perfect. It’s nice to have 3 separate rooms. The air conditioning was great as it was really hot when we were there. It was not very clean and many things needed repair. I wish I would not have paid for breakfast—it was provided at a restaurant that did not open until 8 so we only were able to use it once. They provided 1 roll of toilet paper and 4 little packets of shampoo for 3 adults staying 5 days. Took 2 days and 4 messages to get them to respond to tell us we had to come to their shop to pick up more. They provided nothing in the kitchen which in my experience of staying in places like this several times is unusual.
- Lanier (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (7/5): Good - the location was very good very noisy trying to sleep
- Jorge (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (9/5): Conveniently located apartment with nice large bedrooms. - Great location! Nice size bedrooms 😊👍🏻
- Christina (8/5): Pleasant, comfortable and nice location. - Nice location. Close to shops. Nice decor. The person was there to greet us at the right time. Loved the colosseums decors on the wall. You could tell the property would’ve been superior in it hey day but there are little things that are starting to fall apart - like a drawer or the toilet paper roll that can’t really hold the toilet paper. The air con stopped working temporarily. The property was still really lovely but may need some touch ups.
- Dionisia (10/5): Loved it - Location & 3 BRs were superb Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tee (10/5): Excellent apartment, friendly hosts and perfect location. - We are 4 work friends and had the best time. The location was perfect for us. Loads of shops and cafes and restaurants all around. We walked to most attractions including Vatican City, Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. Close to hop on hop off bus stops and just a few minutes walk to The Spanish steps so we got to see it easily during the day and at night when it was quiet. The apartment was very clean, with lovely soft bedding and plenty of towels, kitchen with everything you need including washing machine, dish washer, fridge and freezer. They left us some water and soft drinks in the fridge. The rooms are big and spacious with plenty of storage. Air conditioning in the two big bedrooms and the sitting room, the single bedroom is connected to the sitting room so it was cool from the sitting room air con. We had one very busy day and loved being able to stay in from the rain with some bottles of wine and Netflix. The sitting room is very comfortable. I liked the bathroom, the shower was as good as I get in most hotels and the toilet flush was fine, very like other places in Rome. We loved staying in an Italian apartment that felt like we were in Rome, the double doors and windows with shutters are a novelty for us. We wanted to feel like we were in another country and not just another hotel. A lot of the cons that other people mention are a little silly when they are staying in such accommodation and not a hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. On call if we needed him any time and held our bags for us in his cafe when we checked out. The cafe is about a 3 minute walk away and we had a lovely lunch on arrival there, breakfast and drinks on other days. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know that's visiting Rome. Fantastic value too! The cost split between the 4 of us was far better than the hotels we looked at and we loved the big space we had. That we didn't stay longer and had to come home. We had a wonderful time.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milena (9/5): Superb - Amazing location near Spanish Steps and Via del Corso. You can walk to all main attractions - amazing! Spacious and clean apartment. Easy communication with the host. They let us check out at 11:30. Apartment is really nice but it's dark with very little natural light. Toilet flush works only if you push it really hard more than few times (this was a real annoyance honestly!) Some things like toilet cupboard/ kitchen need a little update for it to be 10/10.
- Lucy (9/5): Excellent location, cosy apartment with great host - We have just returned from a 4 day stay in this property and couldn’t have been happier! The location is absolutely exceptional- we walked everywhere! Spanish steps and trevi fountain are less than 10 minutes, the shops are at the end of the road, piazza di popolo is minutes away. There’s lovely restaurants a few minutes walk. Even the Vatican and the colosseum are only 30 minutes walk (which we did, with our 3 children). The location is truly amazing. The apartment itself is lovely - we are a family of 5 so used the sofa bed in the living room and the children had a room each which they’d never be able to do in a hotel. Plus we could nip back in between sightseeing or shopping to have some downtime in the living room together before heading back out - much nicer than a city break where you need to carry everything for the day when you head out in the morning. Kitchen was well equipped but we didn’t use it (too many great local restaurants!). The rooms are all lovely, sizeable, plenty of storage space and nicely designed, We absolutely felt like we were living an authentic Rome city experience. The host was also very accommodating and very communicative, and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend. This is not something we didn’t like, more just to be aware. As others have said, you are in the middle of the city so it can be a little noisy first thing in the morning if you want a lie in. This is well worth the price paying for being in such a great location though, so don’t let this put you off - we would definitely go back if we’re in Rome.
- Petra (7/5): Pricy for the bad bathroom conditions. - Great location. Comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom was bad. There was constant smell out of sewage and the toilet and the pipes leaked. We had to have towels on the ground because the floor was wet because og the dripping oipes. Bilut the smell was the worst.
- Deirdre (9/5): Very comfortable stay in a fantastic location - The location of the apartment is fantastic - within walking distance of the major sites and right in the center with plenty of shopping and restaurants right outside the door. The apartment is very spacious for a city center apartment. It has high ceilings and was very comfortable. The beds in particular were more comfortable than I'd expected. We were five adults and we had plenty of space there. We were there in January and the heating was very effective. Excellent wifi and a smart TV for Netflix etc. It wasn't a major issue for us but obviously being in the city center there is some noise. The windows and shutters are probably the originals and don't exclude noise effectively. I'm talking about the noise of street cleaning machines and refuse collection rather than partying or noisy people. The streets are quiet from that point of view. If you're a poor sleeper or noise-sensitive it might be a problem. For us the positives far outweighed this.
It's also true that the apartment is somewhat dark - we were out most of the day so this really wasn't a problem. We didn't do any cooking in the apartment so I can't really comment on that aspect.
- Tricia (8/5): highly recommend - great location
clean and tidy
- Wim (8/5): Nice stay in Rome. - The location is in the city center of Rome. The checkin also the the breakfast nearby the appartement was fine. Lovely stay in Rome. The facilities were more than enough for a couple of days in Rome. We dind't cook in the appartment. There is a lot of noise because the windows have no double glazing. The apartment was not cheap but it was close to the Spanish steps and numerous restaurants.
- Luca (8/5): Very good - Location and comfy beds it wasn’t very clean
- Ana (10/5): Beautiful apartment, highly recommended - Great apartment, very central, well decorated and confortable. The only two downsides are that the apartment doesn't have much light (it is located in a narrow street) and it can be noisy because it is located in a very busy neighbourhood.
- Peleg (6/5): Pleasant - Great location The equipment in the apartment has been overused and is at a medium level of maintenance
The apartment has no soundproofing and there is a lot of noise from the street throughout the night
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Briganti (10/5): amazing experience with everything to do around the city nearby. the staff was accommodating! - location, convenient location, luggage storage, early checkin, large space
- Robert (7/5): Nice apartment, good location with a few quirks - Very good location. Easy to communicate with the hosts for everything including arrival and transfers to airport. Modern and mostly clean. Apartment is nice with a few quirks. The room with the single bed does not have air conditioning. Two of the bedroom doors have frosted glass panels so apartment lights can disturb sleeping. There were no coffee pods, or soap for dishwasher/washing machine which would have been helpful. As others have mentioned, the windows do not keep out external noise (but a mostly quiet street) and the toilet flush is very touchy.
- Shiva (8/5): Very good -
- Anat (7/5): central location in Rome - great location, good air conditioning , 5 min walk from public transportation. the owner was very helpful very basic. has all the equipment in the kitchen but lack of detergent, coffee etc
- Giuseppe (8/5): Very good -
