• M (3/5): Very poor and shame. With less effert it can be a nice stay. - Terras A lot. With these complains Booking.com claimed to return half money. Never went this far. Sockets are poor. Shower leaks. A lot of funghi. Very hard beds. Stains in matrasses. Central heater does not work. Therefore use the airconditioning but then the bed/livingroom is hot and bathroom cold. Trashbin mechanism broken. Frontdoor is in a long hal and 4G does not reach your cellphone anymore and cannot rely on this. After get in and use WiFi from the appartement it is OK. Missing tools in kitchen.

• Gerryt (7/5): Warme plek in een nat Rome - De locatie is perfect, midden in Trastevere. Geen overlast van de herrie op straat gehad. De app om de deuren te openen, werkte perfect. Er was een mooie badkamer met een goede douche. De keuken was volledig uitgerust. Als ik nog zelf had willen koken dan had dat gekund. Het appartement had geen daglicht. Er was wel een smalle wenteltrap naar een dakterras. Bij aankomst was het appartement bloedheet. Die warmte kon ik niet wegkrijgen door een raam open te zetten omdat er geen ramen waren. Verder ontbrak een handvat aan de moka waardoor die moeilijk te gebruiken was.

• Steven (9/5): Love this place, stayed heee last year for a couple nights with my sister, and was lucky enough to rent it again !! - Location was key The only thing was didn’t not have any extra towels, one set per person for 4 nights was not enough.
• Shelley-Anne (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, it was a nice quiet place to come back to after a hectic day of sightseeing. - This was a great place to stay, a quiet oasis from the noise and bustle of Rome and Trastevere itself. Easy walking distance to all the sites we wanted to visit. A chopping board and some good knives would have been a useful addition to the kitchen supplies.

No handle on coffee maker ++ Need I go on?? Not good value!

• Maria (1/5): Disappointed and would not recommend! - The location was excellent. The property is in a grimey building. The apartment felt grimey too.The apartment itself is uncomfortable and there was no hot water to shower. The apartment itself booked on Booking.com and the pictures I saw was not where we were allocated. FALSE ADVERTISING and was only notified after I had booked. The process to enter was a drama. Overall a hugely disappointing experience and would not recommend this apartment. Unfortunately I didn’t take photos as I was so stressed by it , only went back to my room late to sleep and depart the next morning at 5am.

En plein quartier TRASTEVERE, quartier vivant et très jolie, mais non loin à pieds des quartiers historiques, antiques et du Vatican. Nous avons tout visité à pieds. Les instructions de Cécilia sont claires. Un peu bruyant certains soirs, mais c’est le prix à payer pour habiter un quartier si vivant.

• Henriette (7/5): Dejlig ro midt i Trastevere - Super beliggenhed - lige midt i Trastevere. Genialt med en lille gårdhave, hvor vi havde et bord med stole, hvor vi kunne spise og bare nyde roen. Hyggeligt indrettet. Aircondition og internet fungerede rigtig fint. Rigeligt med håndklæder og opbevaring til tøj. Skønt med en god sofa i opholdsrummet. Dejligt med vaskemaskine. Dog var afløbet stoppet, så vi fik vand ud over gulvet. Efter kontakt til værten, blev det hurtigt fixet samme dag, så afløbet fungerede og vi havde mulighed for at vaske. Det fjernede også den kloaklugt der ind i mellem var på badeværelset. Køkkenet var noget slidt og vi manglede flere køkkenredskaber til madlavning. Vi var der i 9 dage, så behovet for at lave mad selv, er nok også højere, end hvis man kun er der i et par dage. Men vi manglede skærebræt, skarpe knive m.m.
• Maria (9/5): Great Vibe - Close to shopping, pubs and eateries. Great social vibe. Many of Rome's attractions are within walking distance 20-30 mins. The apartment is a fair walk to the nearest Metro. The bus is a 5 min walk but becomes dangerously crowded-you would struggle with luggage.

The location is excellent, in one of Rome’s most charming and lively neighborhoods. Still, once you step inside the building, the courtyard and the apartment itself offer all the peace and quiet you need to relax. Most major attractions are within walking distance. Having visited Rome many times, I can say this apartment truly stood out — unique, full of character, with an aesthetically pleasing retro vibe. Cecilia, although we didn’t meet in person, was incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help with anything we needed.

• Arianna (5/5): - la posizione della struttura è meravigliosa, in centro a trastevere vicina ad ogni tipo di servizio. la terrazza sui tetti è splendida anche se non particolarmente curata purtroppo l'appartamento era molto sporco e privo di ogni minimo accessorio utile alla vita quotidiana (spugnetta per lavaggio piatti,strofinaccio...), quello che ho trovato era stato probabilmente lasciato dell'ospite precedente .

It tooks us about 45 munutes to get into the property at check-in because the door opens through an App, the contact person only speaks Italian, thank God a good samaritan helped us translate the conversation. We went out to dinner for about one hour and when we came back someone had gotten inside the property, took all our cash, our jewelry, our chargers and our camcorder. The manager said that he was sorry about that and he heard the area had increased criminal activity. Very dangerous and disappointing. Be careful!!!

Very unique apartment with vintage features. Netflix was hard to get or perhaps not available. But not an issue really.

The shower kept overflowing, the toilet seat was broken and wobbly, and the terrace was dirty. we were only given two towels, even though we were three guests, as per our reservation. There is no natural light, and we slept very badly due to the noise from the street. The third bed is very uncomfortable. In short, the actual condition of the accommodation does not match at all the bright photographs from booking. We contacted the host through the platform asking for a refund so that we could rent another suitable accommodation. We never received any answer.

It was big and had all the things like iron or hairdryer that was nice. It was very nice and big but, what we saw first was dirt everywhere in the kitchen it was insane all the stuff for cooking was dirty. Than our water was always cold or hot hot but we call the property and they fix it but it was not great after all, but we work it out. The door on the bathroom were not closing all the way.

The apartment was set back from the street and was quiet at night. The host was always quick to respond to questions . The fit out of the apartment was tired, kitchen not well set up, there was a damp smell when the place had been closed up all day.

Nestled within a spacious, beautiful courtyard, it offers a peaceful escape from the lively surroundings. The space was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, including handy extras like umbrellas for rainy days. We loved having a washer and plenty of storage. Perfetto!

• Kelly-karen (10/5): Clean comfortable secure apartment in one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Rome - Wonderful apartment. We chose the self check in because we weren’t sure of what time we would arrive. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and we got in no problem. The apartment is clean, very secure and surprisingly quiet with all the hustle and bustle of the streets of Trastevere. Very close to the north edge of the neighborhood but right in it. Very close to many restaurants and also bars to get a morning cappuccino. A very good place to base a Rome visit. A 5 minute walk to a bus stop or just walk. Overall when I return to Rome I will look for this apartment first. Not the easiest place to get to using public transit. Not very close to a metro station but if you’re comfortable with Rome buses no problem, about a 5 minute walk to two different bus stops. If you’re arriving by air or train with luggage I’d suggest a taxi.

The piazza is the centre poi - Amazing location, AC was perfect and a relief in + 38 degree weather, nice quiet courtyard Certainly dated, could use some upgrades. Seemed a little unnecessary how little toilet paper, dish cloths, dish soap etc is provided.

Terrible entry system- we had no internet (not the property’s fault, my global roaming had not been activated correctly by my provider) which meant we couldn’t enter the property. Couldn’t call (due to the roaming issue). Luckily a resident of the apartment block came out, who spoke perfect English, and was able to call Trastavere on our behalves. If she hadn’t come out, we would’ve had to leave to find wifi to make a call, again not their fault, but an awful entry system. I’m sure I’m not the only guest who did not have access to global roaming. The room was not clean, both myself and my partner got glass splinters in our feet from where a glass must’ve smashed previously, and had not been vacuumed up effectively. The room was very old. My friend had stayed at trastavere and had told me the apartment was good: they had a folder with local restaurant recommendations. What we didn’t know was that trastavere are several apartments: the one we unfortunately got did not have a folder with local restaurant recommendations. The shower did not drain properly and there were also cobwebs in the actual shower. Correspondence with the property was returned with a rude and accusatory message. Would not recommend this place.

Extractor fan filthy. The biggest joke was we couldn't get in till after 3 p.m. due to hygiene reasons. We arrived at address given and after about 30 minutes of trying to get in the host sent a map to different location with a metal gate entrance, not the wooden entrance that was previously seen when booked. Unfortunately apartment next to a bar and restaurant, noise till 2-3 am . Pictures on booking .com showed opposite a patisserie. Never again.

Very helpful and friendly host, would hi - The location was excellent, tucked away right in the heart of Travestere, you walk through huge wooden doors through a pretty courtyard once inside it was peaceful and quiet! The property was clean and spacious with everything you need plus a coffee machine and pods!

• Mark (10/5): We have been in Rome for the sixth time now, mostly with the space of one bedroom, some with a shared kitchen or living - The property is at a great location if you like the Trastevere area. Trastevere is full of bars and restaurants, but inside the house there’s no noise whatsoever. You have your own kitchen, so you don’t have to eat out every day if you don’t want to. Personally we like this better than an hotel. There’s not anything particular we didn’t like.

Also, the cover on the sofa does not stay in place. The directions for handling garbage andcrecycle were not clear/helpful.

• Jennifer (3/5): All these bad reviews are for a reason. - It’s my fault for booking this apartment after reading the horrible reviews. This is the 15th apartment I’ve rented in Italy and I’ve never had such a bad experience. As soon as we got there, I checked for a hairdryer. No hairdryer anywhere. I texted the host and he said maybe the previous renters stole it. I tried to take a shower- no hot water in the whole apartment. I texted the the host and he said he would be over in a few hours. It was late evening and I told him he could come tomorrow because we were tired at that point. No kitchen towels in the kitchen, no paper towels, nothing to wipe your hands on if they are wet. I texted him about that too. The place is very rundown. After texting the host again about the hot water the next day, he said he would be there around 1pm to check. He ended up bringing up a person to fix it at 6:30 pm the second day of our stay. To give him credit, he did leave kitchen towels and a new hair dryer for us on the second day. In the past when staying in Rome, our hosts have always offered to arrange transportation to the airport for us, so I inquired about that. He didn’t respond so I had to ask again. He said he couldn’t arrange it and that I should call a taxi because his Uber drivers were booked. No offer to call a taxi on our behalf. I tried myself and there was a big language barrier and I had to give up. The host could not be bothered with my dilemma. When I commented on his reluctance to help us this whole trip, he shot back, “didn’t I fix the hot water and get a new hair dryer?” It’s not worth it. Stay away from this place because the host does not have any grace or compassion for his customers.

• Maureen (9/5): The apartment was clean and comfortable and a great location. - The location is excellent. Lots of good places for a caffè in the morning or dinner at night. Very walkable to tram and bus. We had a bit of a hard time locating the right keys when we arrived. We also had an issue with hot water that turned out to be our fault for flipping the switch off by mistake. I would recommend the host label that switch so nobody else turns it off in error.

• Rachel (10/5): This place is a gem! - This apartment was perfect. It is even nicer and bigger than the photos suggest. Fantastic location and super comfortable. We were there in the middle of a heatwave and the Aircon was brilliant. Do not hesitate to book this place. Our family of four with two adult children (18 & 19) loved it! If I was being super picky, the bathroom door is super heavy to open and close.

• Anonymous (1/5): Do not recommend! - Not much good we can say! Location was extremely noisy until 3am. Not clean or not very well stocked with supplies such as washer detergent. This was our third apartment in Italy and by far the worst. Look elsewhere when booking your stay!!

• Carolina (4/5): Trastevere Overrrated - In the center of Trastevere, allow you to walk within a few minutes to the most iconic scenery Because it's literally in the heart of Trastevere, over the weekend becomes very noise The internet signal in the area is very poor, I had issues trying to get to the place and even more trying to connect with the host. The host doesn't speak English very well so I couldn't call him because he wouldn't understand me and because of poor signal it was hard to communicate through SMS Upon arrival the boiler didn't work, I reported to the host but he was not available to fix it till the next day Not the cleanest place to stay If you need to take a flight very early in the morning plan ahead since there's no close metro line from this location and uber/taxi can be expensive.
