- Richard (10/5): Great stay! - Great location, amazing space, situated in an old 18th century building. Nothing!
- Maria (9/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): excellent spot highly recommend - The property is perfect for a group(we were 5). our Kids loved the location, as did we very walkable. great staff good communication. super nice space w lots room and decor was v artsy! lovely spot! nothing
Niets
- Gemma (7/5): -
- Moro (10/5): -
- Dorien (9/5): Great location and appartment! - Locatie is fantastisch! Zeer netjes. Heel soms hoorde je s'avonds wat geluid van de straat maar geen overlast van.
- Lloyd (10/5): -
- Francisco (10/5): Excellent location, host was wonderful, lovely apartment, - Location, cleanliness, size. Host
- John (7/5): - Staff very helpful. Location very noisy and front door covered in graffiti. Apartment was 3 flights of steep stairs up this was not mentioned when booking.
- Johanna (10/5): Lovely stay in lively Trastevere - Beautifully decorated apartment with everything we needed. Fiona our host was great. She was very responsive and friendly, left us some Prosecco to celebrate New Year. Having 2 bathrooms was great! Steep stairs and lively square directly outside the apartment. We had a lovely stay at this apartment.
- Roos (9/5): -
- Sorcha (9/5): - The hosts were more than helpful
We picked an unusually busy time for Rome due to a national holiday so the streets were very noisy at night making it very difficult to sleep but in terms of the place and the apartment it was clean, spacious and perfectly located. Approx 15 minute walk to Vaticano. Not suitable for older people due to 3flights of stairs, my mother in her late 70s found this difficult especially in the evenings but absolutely perfect for a couple. Hope to stay here again The stairs were difficult for my mother in her late 70s, 3 flights to enter the apartment
- Joyce (9/5): Location, location, location...both good and bad. - Loved, loved, loved everything about our stay there....location was great, surrounded by vibrant night life, places to eat, shop and easy to walk across Tiber river to get into Rome and hook up with the Hop on-Hop off bus for access to many tourist spot. Great communication with host throughout our stay. It was awesome having two bedrooms, two bathrooms and ample eating and gathering spaces. While we really liked the location (proximity to resturants etc) I didn't like the noise of the vibrant nightlife. We were all lucky have brought ear plugs which helped us sleep at night. Also, be prepared to walk up three flights of stairs.

- Noga (9/5): Wonderful location and amenities! - Amazing location and beautiful, clean, well appointed. Had everything we needed and we enjoyed it! Important to note:
It’s on the Third floor of an ancient building with no elevator and uneven steep steps (that’s how they built them back then…).
It’s right above a busy piazza which is very noisy until very late.
We still enjoyed it and recommend it but renters should be aware of these two things.
- Dustin (9/5): - Great owner and location. Unique apartment. Nice bathrooms. Spacious living room. Location is good so area is a bit loud but it's a trade off. Stairs are a lot if you're not up for that.
- Eka (10/5): A beautiful and safe apartment in the heart of Trastevere with an exceptional host — highly recommended! - The apartment was clean, well organized and tastefully decorated. The location in Trastevere is amazing ,full of life and close to everything. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings because the area is very lively. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might consider using earphones while sleeping we didn’t need them, as it didn’t really bother us.

- Petrina (10/5): - Our stay here was amazing. It is situated in a beautiful area in Rome with so much to see and do. The facilities were great and our hosts gave us great ideas for places to eat and visit. It was very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
- Jonathan (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at Arc Trilussa 44. The accommodation was very homely, spotless, and had everything we needed. F - It was very clean, homely and family friendly Nothing
- Helen (10/5): Perfect location and in beautiful apartment 😍 - Amazing location with a lovely view of the river and square below. Really spacious and clean. Fiona was a great host. Met us on arrival and gave really good information on local restaurants and places to go. Be prepared for the stairs, although we really didn’t mind them!!
- Luke (10/5): Charming Trastevere Gem – Perfect Location & Great Host - We had a fantastic stay at 44 Arc Trilussa in the heart of Trastevere. The apartment was beautifully appointed, with two comfortable bedrooms—each with its own TV—and two modern bathrooms, which made it ideal for our group. The main living area was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a large table that comfortably seats six or seven, and a cozy sofa area to relax.
The apartment had reliable high-speed internet (around 300Mbps), which was a great bonus. Everything was clean, stylish, and full of charm, offering a perfect mix of comfort and character.
The location couldn’t be better—just about 100 meters from Ponte Sisto giving easy access to the heart of Rome and right next to a lively piazza with nightly entertainment. The area is buzzing with life, yet the apartment felt like a quiet retreat. You're truly spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants—there are hundreds within walking distance, and we didn’t have a single bad meal.
The host was fantastic with communication from the start, and the person who met us with the keys, Helena, on their behalf was also very welcoming and helpful. I contacted her a few times via WhatsApp during our stay for restaurant recommendations, and she always responded promptly with great suggestions.
Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. If you're thinking about booking, go for it—you won’t be disappointed.
- laura (10/5): A beautiful spacious property right in the “vibe” of Trastevere and easy to access Roma city by foot - The apartment has such beautiful character, previously owned by an architect. Also, the location is incredible, right on the steps of Piazza Trilussa which comes alive in the evenings. So many great restaurants and boutiques at the doorstep. We walked across the bridge to Roma city everyday, was supper easy, even with kids. Can’t think of anything

- Paula (10/5): Great apartment, clean and has everying you need, 2 bathrooms are a bonus. Ideal location, great restaurants and bars ne - The apartment had absolutely everything we needed, loved that it had two bathrooms. A lovely quirky place to stay, the studio room upstairs was amazing. Air conditioning was great and in all the rooms. The apartment is in such a great location, a real buzz about the area and just a stones throw from some fabulous restaurants and bars, so much choice ! The host was lovely, met us on arrival, very welcoming and gave us some local recommendations too. An easy walk into the centre of Rome or a quick taxi or bus ride also. Would highly recommend. Nothing we didn’t like, all perfect !
- Hawa (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (10/5): We would give this place 6 stars if allowed. Exceptional place in a great location! - What a beautiful and spacious place! Very comfortable and roomy. The decor is exceptional. This was a fantastic find for us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place in Trestaverde. The only downside has nothing to do with the property, but the Trilussa area can get pretty loud from partying until as late as 2:30 AM. It didn’t bother us, but could be a consideration for others. To the owners’ credit, they did forewarn us!
- Čepokas (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): Fantastic apartment in the perfect location for exploring Rome - The apartment was very clean, well equipped including some little surprise extras. The location is fantastic right in the heart of local bars/restaurants and cafes- yes that comes with noise but we loved the authentic atmosphere. It’s close enough that we walked everywhere but public transportation is on the doorstep including a taxi rank making getting to and from the airport a breeze. The owners were very welcoming/accommodating - took time to show us around and shared useful restaurant and places to look out for. The home is beautiful and has some lovely personal touches. We would book again. Nothing at all, just take earplugs if you are concerned about the evening noise from the bass and restaurants.
- Marian (9/5): Ideal for young people! Trastevere is buzzing! - Location, 2 bathrooms, cleanliness . Highly recommend to younger fitter group! Bed upstairs not ideal , very low ! Stairs generally not great for older people .
- Esther (9/5): Superb -
- Brigid (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect. Nothing
- Tricia (7/5): Great 1 Bedroom 2 bathroom apartment - Cute architects studio, 1 bedroom apartment in Trastevere. The second bedroom was a lift reached by very steep steeps & the bed was on the floor.....not ideal for 60 year olds. It was right on the square at the arch, so it was very noisy at night.
- Philip (8/5): Great base in the lively Trastevere area - highly recommended - Fabulous location in the lively Trastevere area. Lots of great restaurants and many are at a very reasonable cost for Rome. The apartment was clean and had a lovely period character, with 2 nicely fitted bathrooms, albeit both at the ground level (no bathroom at the higher level bedroom). Beds were comfortable and the heating was very efficient (we visited in November). Kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area very cosy. Fiona was extremely friendly and helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations. The airport transfer taxi firm she recommended were superb. We are a pretty fit and healthy group of people in our sixties, but we found the 3 flights of very steep stairs challenging at times (in Rome you do an awful lot of walking!) Also the 2nd bedroom is up a narrow flight of steps in the apartment with no bathroom at that level. The bed itself is on a “deck” which does require a degree of dexterity and flexibility to get into and out of the bed each time. It certainly didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the property but if you have any issues with muscles/joints etc it’s worth knowing. Trastevere is a vibrant and lovely area of Rome. We went mid week November and every night there were loud buskers and appreciative crowds of students in the square below the apartment until the early hours. We enjoyed it and felt it added to the charm, but if you have very young kids or would be bothered by noise - again it’s worth knowing.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great place to stay. Lovely apartment. Local places to eat and drink. Easy to walk to the major sights. - The owner is very helpful and friendly. It was a little noisy. However we chose to stay in the centre of Rome and they have done their best to minimise noise
- Shelley (10/5): Perfect apartment in the best location in Trastevere - We loved our stay here. The location is the best!! The apartment is spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Loved only having to go upstairs after dinner and a few drinks. We also really enjoyed people watching from above haha. We were also able to leave our bags safely in the building on our checkout day which meant we had another full day of exploring before having to leave Trastevere. This was so helpful for us. Bed was a little hard for our taste. Maybe a mattress topper would take the edge off a little but I t wasn’t unbearable.
- Weishof (8/5): Great apartment, just the piazza’s noise is a little bit challenging - Very well designed! Good taste and unique The noise of the surrounding
- Evan (4/5): Horrible sleep. - Great location and nice apartment overall. Extremely loud at night. People party until 4 am, the. Around 6-7 am you will hear bottle clean up. They need to replace the windows because you can hear everything. If you are a party person then it is great for you. If you sleep around 11 pm, then this place is not for you. The street noise is the loudest I ever heard in a flat. Replace the windows
- Reem (9/5): lovely house at trastevere - We loved the apartment. The design was amazing, felt very Italian and cozy. The beds were comfortable , the apartment was very clean. the host was very kind . and the location was good. the street was a bit noisy at night , but it was not a big deal , we slept fine
- Eir (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (9/5): Fabulous Rome location. - The apartment is in a great location to sample the unique Rome experience, I've never stayed in a place with so much going on right on the doorstep, the nightime atmosphere is lively and colourful with an endless choice of dining and people watching. I had no issues with the accommodation but the stairs would be awkward for people with mobility issues.
- Stuart (10/5): Fantastic - The location is fabulous . The hosts very friendly and helpful. Nothing we didn’t like. However if you are disturbed by noise of people having fun late at night in the streets, you might need to take earplugs.
- Ada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelika (7/5): Good -
- Holly (9/5): Great place! - Fiona was an outstanding host compared to others on this trip! She is a delight! You can't change it but be ready for the luggage haul up stairs:)
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suad (9/5): Loved staying in this former Architect’s studio. - Great character. Interesting objects and furnishings. Nice view. The neighborhood can get loud at night.
- Doris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - It looks exactly like in the pictures , we loved the pictures om the wall and how the apartment has been equiped. It has a lot of mirrors, perfect for a girls trip 😁 -
- Melisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindeman (9/5): Arc Trilussa 44's location is nonpareil, revel in the less touristy more youthful side of Roma! - Our host, Fiona was very flexible with meeting us and sharing with us the keys. Additionally she gave us a brief orientation to the neighborhood, sharing some of her favorite locations for espresso, pizza and fine dining. This apartment is unassuming from the outside but exceptional inside, spacious and beautifully appointed. Did I mention the view across the Tiber? The neighborhood, Trastevere is a blast, what Rick Steves calls the 'crustier side of Rome'. It also appears to be 'party central' for the college aged crowd, the energy can't be matched! I have a few suggestions for our host at Arc Trilussa 44 which I will share with her individually, minor things that might help.
- Guillaume (10/5): Exceptional - The property was close to all amenities, close to wonderful tourist spots and was extremely comfortable to live in with amazing bathrooms, bedrooms and living area It’s a bit noisy in the evenings, but it adds to the vibe and authenticity of the place.
- Sydney (9/5): Very good stay. - Really cool property. Best AC that we had in Italy. Spacious and comfortable apartment. In a loud area, but to be expected so no complaints.
- Curtis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): YOU WONT GET ANYTHING MORE CENTRAL - WOULD RECCOMEND - LOCATION, VERY CLOSE TO BARS/ RESTURANTS, CLOSE TO CENTRE AND SIGHT SEEING ATTRACTIONS SURPRISED AT ALL GRAFFITI ON WALLS IN STREET, RATHER A LOT OF STAIRS UP TO APARTMENT BUT WORTH IT
- Arcangelo (10/5): Fantastic location, especially if you want to enjoy the nightlife in Rome. Very safe. - The hostess was very welcoming and the location was fantastic. There was great nightlife around the property for our young people. It is important that guest be prepared to carry suitcases up to the third floor apartment. However the apartment is great.
- Sarthak (9/5): Superb -
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - It is a beautiful and charming apartment with an excellent location.
- Simon (10/5): Absolutely fell in love with the apartment & the city. - Great location, near to literally dozens of restaurants.
Lively, buzzing atmosphere - right next to nightly live music in the piazza where hundreds of people gather to listen.
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Location, friendliness of host, comfortable beds Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere is a popular hangout spot. People were chanting downstairs until 3AM.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (8/5): Great location and lovely property. Definitley reccommend! - Good central location. Lots of space and nice little touches like coffee machine, nice toiletaries. Very clean. Host Fiona is very friendly and helpful. on the Saturday night it was a bit noisy outside.
- Brad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benedikt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - The history The crowd and noise until late. Not that Fiona could do anything about it though.
- Shaw (9/5): Superb - Location in the heart of Trastevere near to the river and close to great restaurants and bars, taxi around the corner
- Aleksander (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect spot for party and sightseeing in Rome! Fiona is a fantastic host. We hope to come back one day.
- Perla (10/5): Exceptional - Great location & comfort!
- Katie (8/5): Cute, cozy stay in the lively Trastevere - Great location within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants and all the sites in Rome. the apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Nothing. It was great. The neighborhood is lively, so be ready for some noise late into the night, but that's part of the fun of Trastevere!
- Monta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marwan (9/5): Superb -
- Evangelos (10/5): Exceptional - Fully equipped gorgeous apartment in ancient building at the heart of Trastevere
Excellent location
Very nice hospitality
Totally recommend
- Anonymous (10/5): if I ever come back to Rome, I will look to rent this property again - great location and modern bathrooms.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Our host Fiona was great and apartment is lovely. Couldn't be more central to explore the city loads of good cafes and restaurants in area There was nothing not to like. It can be loud in the evenings in this lively neighbourhood but it didn't bother us.
- Francesco (8/5): Very good - Location! Un po' rumoroso!
- Izabela (10/5): perfect place for the weekend! - Really comfortable place for 5 persons! Everything was great! Location perfect. Apartment was incredibly clean and there were everything what you need! Truly recommend it!
- Mohamed (7/5): Good - the owner is nice and she allowed us extra time. The apartment is big and the location is good. noisy and there are no carpets.
- Lizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the apartment and its location. Fiona, the owner, was fantastic and met us when we arrived. She was fantastic to answer any questions we might have and helpful to any transportation needs we would need to get around. An awesome neighborhood with lots going on and many resteraunts and cafes.
The apartment itself was comfortable and well appointed and also had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen and living room were both nice spaces with wonderful appointments and a great space to hang out in. In the evening you could hear the awesome music being played in the square outside.
Easy place to to do a walk about and enjoy dining or drinks or to get a taxi to go anywhere in Rome. We loved the apartment and its location but being on the 3rd floor and no elevator, found the steps a little challenging for us ladies in our "senior " years. Other thst that everything was excellent.
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional -
