Właściciel wykazał się ogromną życzliwością i dyspozycyjnością – zaproponował nam możliwość pozostawienia bagaży w dniu wyjazdu, co było bardzo pomocne, ponieważ nasz lot odbywał się późno. Dodatkowo szybko i sprawnie zorganizował transfer z lotniska, dzięki czemu cały pobyt przebiegł bezproblemowo. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce zarówno na krótki, jak i dłuższy wypoczynek (do stacji metra 7 minut w pobliżu sklepy do Bazyliki na Watykanie 10-15 min ) 👍

• Marilena (8/5): Beautiful apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. - The property was well located, close to the Vatican and many restaurants and shops. The building is very old and charming. The apartment has been tastefully renovated and comes with air conditioning. It is a mix of rentals and locals giving you an authentic Roman experience. The water pressure was low but we came to learn this is a neighborhood issue because of ongoing repairs to the pipes. A small inconvenience to a wonderful stay.

• Marcus (8/5): Comfortable, clean, with a very nice host! - Superbly accessible via metro and several buses. A stone’s throw from Vatican, with an excellent gelato just across the street. The views were great, rooms comfortable. Had to get used to the water system. We didn’t know how to get a good temperature of water flowing. Some showers have a bust of cold water. We thought that the water heater had issues but the host was very prompt to our messages and also came by to fix it the very next day. Honestly, my spouse hacked the tap, there is a point (just slightly over the middle) that once crossed, then we would encounter this “issue”.

• Dale (7/5): Great location and host - Thomas was a wonderful host. He made arrangements for our party of 6 to be picked up from the airport when we returned the rental van we had been using, and then arranged for our delivery back to the airport when we were ready to fly home. He provided clear instructions to access his apartment and the location of some shops and restaurants close by. We were able to walk easily to many attractions and took the subway, which was easy to find, when we wanted to travel a bit farther. In terms of the apartment itself, there were 3 bedrooms - 2 of which were fairly roomy; one with twin beds pushed together, and the 3rd bedroom a bit smaller but the bed was comfy. The linens were all very nice and on one warm day, we were grateful for the AC units in each of our rooms. The kitchen was very small and ill equipped. Other places we have stayed provided staples for us to use, but cooking a meal here was not an option. The hot water supply was sporadic; showers were often cold or a mixture of hot then cold. One bathroom lock was faulty and 3 of us needed “rescuing” from the outside when we couldn’t open the door from inside the bathroom. As well, the glass door to the balcony required a combination of handle moves and pushing and pulling which resulted in getting stuck on the balcony too, while we figured out the combination. The elevator in the building is very small and slow, so we often took turns using the stairs while 2 or 3 of our group squished into the elevator. The main issue, was the lack of a sitting area, which is mentioned in the listing and in a few reviews. When we returned from our excursions, there wasn’t a comfortable area for our group to sit and have a glass of wine or snacks together; we had to retreat to our individual bedrooms to recline on our beds. The apartment is in need of some TLC
• Willem (10/5): Great stay in a great location. - The apartment was in a local neighbourhood away from the tourist traps. The view was fantastic, you can basically see 3 sides of the entire city of Rome and seeing as it's on the 8'th floor there is nothing that blocks you view. The shops and restaurants around us were well priced. The massive local fresh food market was great and just a block away. The bus stop to get you anywhere in Rome was practically at the front door and the subway was close enough. The host (Thomas) was very nice and friendly. The apartment was a little dated and needs a bit of mainteanance, but otherwise nothing else.
• Alison (6/5): Pleasant - Loved the view of St Peters from the bedroom. Location near coffee shops, restaurants and the market was very convenient. Easy to walk to everywhere we wanted. Good to be so close to the Vatican City especially when having a 7.30am tour start. Front door had damage marks which looked like either someone was trying to break in & reenter or a locksmith was trying to change the lock. Sad to see such a beautiful door with such marks. Mattress needs to be changed, it is badly sunken in the middle and therefore horrible sleep from being very uncomfortable. When having a shower in 1 bathroom the hot water for the other bathroom does not work. Both bathroom doors had issues being properly closed - 1 closed too tightly and had to use force to be pushed opened : felt that you were trapped in, and the other 1 could not close at all and had to be propped closed.
• Dominic (10/5): Amazing apartment in a great location. - A very spacious and clean apartment within a great location. The host Thomas was great at communicating and providing information about the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back! There is no sitting room, but you do not need that when you have the city of Rome at the doorsteps.
• Kelly (10/5): Incredible stay!!!! - You cannot beat the views you get from every window. It's like staring at a painting. Great location, Thomas was very helpful and so kind. I can't stop raving to everyone about the views though, we had an amazing time and if we come back, we will be staying here again. There is no family room, but we made the best of it.. We weren't there too much and when we were there in the evenings we sat together at the table or in one of the bedrooms all together.
• Chantal (8/5): Great base to explore Rome and awesome view - The location was perfect for us. Everything was easy to reach on foot or public transport and the view was awesome! Communication with our host was excellent and he gave us lots of useful tips. There were travel guides and maps in the apartment, which was also very useful.
• Rachael (10/5): Beautiful apartment - The apartment was absolutely beautiful, and I'm glad there was an elevator (8th floor). There was easy access to Ottaviano Metro station & plenty of nearby options for luggage storage. The host, Thomas, was amazing! He was very helpful & had great recommendations for the area. Would definitely recommend this spot to any groups visiting Rome.

• Karen (8/5): A well located apartment, with plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. - The view from apartment to the Vatican was beautiful. Thomas was very helpful, explaining places to eat and visit. The apartment was clean and well equiped but lacking a homely touch. One of the headboards was peeling and there were very few pictures. This would be easy to fix.

Everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay was provided. The location is excellent, we went across the street to a great bakery for breakfast. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the vatican. Also the metro is a short walk away. There are 3 bus stops within a block. Also the view to St. Peter Basilica is nice to wake up to every morning. The only inconvenience was that the shower would sometimes cycle hot and cold for a quick second while showering.

Loved the location! View of St Peter’s Dome and NYE fireworks was outstanding. Was pleasantly surprised that the flat has two balconies. Kitchen amenities need updating (basics like new knives and cleaning supplies). We could not get the TV’s to turn on. Didn’t realize that there was not a living area with sofa, but this was my fault. The listing is accurate.

• Aleksandre (9/5): Fantastic family vacation! - Thomas was a very good host. He met us upon arriving at the apartment and organized pick-up and drop-off at the airport. He was always available if we had any questions and provided ample information about useful places near the apartment and elsewhere in the city. The location of the apartment is fantastic! Right next to the Vatican. The views are exactly as shown on the photos. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Rome next time! The sinks were a little clogged in the bathrooms, but nothing a little drain cleaner could not take care of.

• Anonymous (9/5): Exceeded my expectations and was overall a pleasant stay! - The view from the apartment, the location with everything being easily accessible (from the bus stop to restaurants to groceries), the host who was readily available and accommodating and lastly the price being fair considering the amenities and location. May be a bit difficult if you have multiple luggages because it is on the top floor and the lift fits only four people max, but it was easily remedied with having one person go in and have the luggages with them. Only sucks if the lift is not closed properly because then it doesn’t work!

• Alexander (8/5): Great place. great location. - We booked the apartment quite a number of months in advance and knew we'd be arriving mid morning so asked Thomas, the owner, at that early stage whether we could drop our bags. He was super helpful and responded really quickly. The day we got there we arrived at 10 a.m. Thomas had been in touch earlier that week to finalise arrangements and he met us at the apartment and was able to have the apartment ready for us which was great because we'd come off a long haul flight and so could have a shower etc. etc. The apartment was clean and airconditioned and though it doesnt have a lounge/living area there is a table where you can sit and have a drink or something to eat. The location is fantastic - its away from the really crowded tourist areas and there is a great restaurant, a cafe and supermarkets within 100m of the building's entrance. Its a short walk to the Vatican and an easy walk across to the other side of Rome where things like the Trevi fountain are. We'd happily stay there again. It wasnt a drawback as such, but it worth noting that there is no lounge/living area. But this is probably typical of many apartments in Rome and it really didnt stop us from enjoying things as we were out for a lot of the day (and we could still sit around the table).

Thomas arranged the pick up for our departure taxi. It was on time and excellent. The facilities were perfect and the location and view were amazing. The next time I'm in Rome, I would stay at Panoramic View again without a doubt. I liked everything!

Firstly, the host - Thomas - is very kind and helpful - he pointed out to us what we can do and where we can eat in Rome. Secondly, the Apartment is well-located, only few minutes from Vatican on foot. The flat was clean and spacious. We must emphasize that the best is the view - just amazing. We haven't had a view like that before! -

I didn’t even realize there was a balcony when I booked it but was shown all the features when checking in. our room was on the 8th floor which came with the most beautiful views but the elevator was really small and could only accommodate about two to three people at a time. it wasn’t a big deal but that would be my only heads up about it.

• Daniel (9/5): Superb - Thomas was a great host, made us feel very welcome and tried to ensure we had a good holiday. Gave us plenty of helpful tips for Roma. The apartment is in a great location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Good transport links with the metro and buses. Very close to the Vatican with great views from the apartment. Comfortable and well equipped. The showers could be slightly temperamental. Some noise from the road but I imagine this would be hard to avoid anywhere in the city.
• Katherine (9/5): Superb - Great location, easy check in process, fantastic local food recommendation, amazing view! Loved the balcony area It was hard not having a comfortable common hang out area for all of us to gather in. There is a small space, but not a comfortable small couch or chairs, and no AC there. That was the only downside. Felt we all spent downtime in our rooms with closed doors. Once the weather cools down (we were there end of July) and AC isn't so critical, I'm sure the feeling is much different!
