• Mariam (7/5): - The location of the property was excellent — very convenient and well-situated, which made the stay enjoyable in that sense. However, the condition of the house itself was disappointing. The cleanliness was below expectations, and it seems like the cleaning service may need to be improved or changed. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that should definitely be addressed. Additionally, the dishwasher was not working, which was inconvenient, and there was no teapot available, which would have been a basic and appreciated amenity. Overall, while the location is a strong advantage, the property would benefit from better maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

• Ketley (7/5): Vale o custo benefício - A localização é perfeita, 20 minutos andando até a fontana de trevi, o bairro é seguro e tem restaurantes perto e um mercado. A casa é bem grande e acomoda até 7 pessoas se uma for pequena ou uma criança. Há televisões por todo o quartos e sala, há equipamentos na cozinha que ajudam a estadia para cozinhae Havia uma agencia gerenciando e como eu não sabia disso, ficavam mandando mensagem a todo momento porque o check-in precisa de alguém entregando as chaves. Há a necessidade de limpeza mas não havia equipamentos para isso. Meu apartamento ficava no primeiro andar então não usamos o elevador com frequência, mas o elevador é antigo. Se você tem problema de mobilidade isso pode ser um impeditivo. A parte que mais me incomodou foi que o apartamento era bastante antigo ha reparos que podem ser feitos e são baratos que geraria um conforto maior como por exemplo a bacia da privada poderia ter melhores acentos, o box do banheiro ser maior porque meu esposo de 1.80 conseguiu entrar com muito sufoco. E se você é obeso não conseguirá tomar banho pois a porta não abre .

• Inês (9/5): Comfortable and very central - The house was huge. It fits two families perfectly. The location is great only a few minutes away from the bus stop that takes you to the city center. The beds were comfortable and the sofa fits two people perfectly. Good price for what you get. There’s a café downstairs that gets really loud during the night. If you’re a light sleeper, it might be a dealbreaker because it does get loud around 2 AM. None of the showers in both bathrooms are accessible. There’s a step to get to the bathroom and it kind of makes it hard for people with low accessibility to move around. Might be good to take this into consideration. The bathroom has a whole needs renovation specially the shower from the bathroom in the corridor, the drain wouldn’t work and it would overflow often.

There are several steps leading to the elevator, and the elevator door is too narrow for a wheelchair. There is also a step at the entrance to the bathroom. The shower cabin is too small, and the second bathroom has a bathtub instead of an accessible shower.

• Stansfield (8/5): The apartment was very nice overall. It was clean and comfortable. - It was in a convenient area with a market close by. The main bathroom shower needs a better door that won't allow the bathroom to be flooded.

We stayed from April 9 to 12, and the apartment was in unacceptable condition: extremely dirty, bathrooms leaking water, no microwave in the kitchen, and greasy, worn-out utensils. The furniture and floors were dusty, and even the bed sheets had visible hairs. We had to buy disposable kitchenware just to feel somewhat comfortable. The photos on the listing are misleading and likely taken a long time ago. The walls are stained and dirty, and the apartment feels poorly maintained overall. It’s clear that no proper cleaning was done before our arrival. Two days before our check-in, we were informed that the fridge was broken and offered the option to cancel. We appreciated the honesty and decided to proceed — never imagining we’d arrive to such poor conditions. When we brought up the issues, the owner said it was an “old apartment” — but that doesn’t justify the lack of cleanliness or care. Being old is not the same as being dirty. To be fair, the space itself isn’t bad — it has potential and a great location. With proper investment in cleanliness and maintenance, it could be a great place to stay. Unfortunately, the management was completely lacking. The owner admitted in writing that the apartment hadn’t been cleaned, yet nothing was done until the last day — and only after multiple complaints to Booking. We paid a cleaning fee and received none of the basic hospitality standards. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Booking should take responsibility, and future guests deserve to be warned.

• Svetlana (6/5): Noisy, dark apartment with broken shower and leaking shower screen - The size of rooms is great and it has two bathrooms which is convenient when staying with group of people. One bathroom has the very poor water pressure and the shower head spraying water everywhere but not on you. The toilet was square but the toilet seat was round. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty with marks when we arrived. In the En-suite bathroom the shower screen is leaking leaving puddles of water on the floor after use. Rooms are very dark even when the sun is out. The window in the main bedroom has no glass, it has only wooden shutters, which leave you in a dark room when windows shut. In the apartment no kettle. We had to use a pot to heat the water. It is very noisy street even at night time and especially early in the morning due to traffic and honking cars.
• Thayna (9/5): Superb - We stayed for three nights at the Varental group's apartment in Rome, and the apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We found the accommodation clean and well-organized, and the staff was very attentive. I definitely recommend staying at the Elegant Apartment in Rome, especially if you're with family. The only downside of our stay was the internet signal. Other than that, everything was perfect.

It’s very big and has 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, vast living room with an extra sleeping place. Personnel is very nice and helpful In April it was not very warm inside, and it could be more comfortable, eg holders for towels would be great to install, the shower is very old and small. the dishwasher was not working
