• romain (7/5): - Nous avons aimé l'emplacement, parfaitement placé dans la ville pour accéder à tous les endroits à visiter L'appartement est bien équipé pour une famille de 6 comme nous, il y a ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner. Et il est vraiment grand avec plusieurs pièces et 2 salles de bain. L'appartement est en sous sol donc très humide. C'est un vieil appartement avec des équipements anciens, vintage. Il faut aimer le style ancien. Par exemple, la table basse a un pied cassé, les toilettes se desadaptent de l'évacuation du mur et inondent la salle de bain si on ne fait pas attention, le lit parental est mobile
• Agata (10/5): Dużo schodów - Duże mieszkanie. Bardzo fajny taras. Brak okien powoduje, że czuć stechlizną zaraz po wejściu. Trzeba też wspomnieć, ze jest dużo schodów. Byłam z babcią i to było dość uciążliwe.

• JSchwartz00 (9/5): Enjoyed our stay in Rome close to the major attractions but in a quiet and lovely setting! - Fantastic location in Rome just off the path of the action but in easy walking distance to great tourist areas and all the major attractions - close to bus transportation as well. Spacious apartment with room for the entire family!

It’s a perfect place for six people to stay, with everything you need for cooking and dining. Highly recommend! While shampoo wasn’t provided, there are plenty of shops nearby where you can easily buy what you need.

• Shay (1/5): אכזבה גדולה, להתרחק ולחפש מקום אחר - יש דבר אחד בלבד חיובי להגיד על הדירה הזאת, המיקום שלה סביר ובמרחק הליכה של 15-30 דקות מהאטרקציות המרכזיות , זהו !כל השאר גרוע, אם המחיר לא ממש נמוך תחפשו אלטרנטיבה אחרת בשביל להגיע לדירה יש 54! מדרגות מהרחוב (עם מזוודות זה סיוט לא קטן) , הדירה היא בתוך מבנה (תחושה של מערה), יש ריח נוראי של עובש ורטיבות, יש כתמי עובש במקלחת ובאזורים נוספים, אין דלתות בין החדרים ככה שאין ממש פרטיות, מלבד חלון אחד (שהוא דלת הכניסה) אין חלונות ואין אור שמש בדירה וגם התאורה "חצי כוח" , יש מיטה "אמיתית" אחת בלבד (שגם היא חצי מתפרקת) שאר המיטות הן ספות נפתחות לא נוחות. בחדר אחד שבו יש ספה נפתחת ממוקם שולחן האוכל ... בקיצר תתרחקו מהמקום הזה

• Roberto (8/5): Great place to stay and great value for money - Everything was fine, very good location and value for money. No doors in the bedroom is the only thing I can complain about, but it wasn’t a big issue
• Narelle (9/5): Beautiful apartment in good location. - Loved the beautifully furnished and decorated apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely lounge area and had all we needed for our 3 night stay. The communication with the host was excellent and it was in a good location for accessing the city either on foot or by bus. The property did have a musty smell and was quite humid but it didn’t bother us too much. We used the air conditioners which helped although one was leaking (this wasn’t really a problem and the host assured us it would be attended to).

• Fiona (9/5): Charming property with terrace in an excellent location provides a little oasis after a busy day’s sightseeing! - This is a charming older property with a lovely little terrace outside.It is furnished with traditional shabby chic furniture and has two bathrooms which are great for families with teenagers like us. The master bedroom has a spacious dressing room which is great for stowing suitcases.The property is well supplied with kitchen utensils and has a kettle and toaster,a good big modern refrigerator and gas range cooker/ oven. There is a good washing machine in the larger bathroom.The kitchen is large. The living areas is also large and the bedrooms are a good size. The air conditioning is effective and due to the thickness of the old walls the apartment is cool indoors which is a godsend in summer heat.The location is excellent as you are right beside the Gianicolo gardens and also beside the river with a nearby bridge taking you easily across to the area where the Piazza Navona , Campo di Fiori and Pantheon all are located. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly book this again. There is a slightly fusty odour possibly due to the age of the property but once the air conditioning and humidifiers are used this dissipates somewhat.A few scented diffusers might be a good idea. The bathrooms are a little antiquated but that did not really bother us however the vacuum suction bath plug kept sticking and on our second last day stuck fast leaving us with a bath full of water! On the plus side one bathroom had a shower and the other had a bath. It is not common to find a rental with a bath so this was a bonus for us. The property is located beside the steps to the Gianicolo and then once you enter the side gate there are more steps which are quite narrow. It would not suit anybody with mobility issues. It is lovely and cool indoors which was largely a positive but I would have liked an extra blanket or two as it could become quite cold in the middle of the night. The property has a quaint layout , due to it’s age probably,with each room leading into another via archways and with no internal doors . Again this did not bother us and we personally did not feel a lack of privacy but you do have to walk through bedrooms to access the kitchen which annoyed my sleeping teenagers at times. None of these were major problems for us and we liked the quaintness and antiquity of the premises.
• Cenkci (1/5): Onofrio flat - The only good side of the flat is that it is close to Vatican. The flat wasn't clean and there was a bad smell in all the rooms. The rooms were damp and there were a lot of cockroackes everywhere including beds. Wireless was not working and also there was no hot water that we couldn't have shower. Although we texted the problems to the landlady she didn't care them and there was no solution. Hair driyer was also broken. The flat had two bathrooms but only one of them was in use as the taps in the other were dripping and the floor was wet. It was the most terrible accomodation I have ever had in my life. Don't hire it.
• Lize (5/5): It is very well sized for the location, and we loved sitting on the porch. - There were MANY cockroaches in the one bedroom with sleeper couch and loft bed. My parents slept on the sleeper couch and at night, the cockroaches woke them as they got into my mom's hair. This was our ONLY negative. I know it is an old building and partly built under a road, but the cockroaches are many and definitely not charming.

• Monika (2/5): Very poor - Upon arrival we had to pay a late check-in tax, which was never mentioned on the website or during the booking process. The appartement had a smell of dampness, the TV didn't work, the warm water barely flowed - the shower barely usable. The electric panel makes noise the whole night. On the wall was a cockroach, but it was a one-time thing and didn't happen again.
• Sabine (8/5): Great located, generous rooms, lovely terrace. - Where it is located. The setting with the rooms. It’s really huge. The atmosphere of living a bit compared to a cave. The air was quite humid and there were only two windows/door could be opened.
• Htimea (6/5): Manageably weird - The location of the apartment is quite good, it is really in the city center, most of the sights are in walking distance. Our flight arrived quite early and the owner was really kind and handed over the apartment already in the morning hours. We travelled as a big group of 7; 3 adults and 4 kids, so the place was full. The biggest issue for us was that there were no doors in between the different rooms, only the bathroom had a door. The heating did work, but it was not able to heat up the apartment properly, there were areas where we had extra beds in the cold. We had issues with the extra bed as well, we originally booked the apartment for 7 people and in the end the owner charged us additional fee for it. The beds were strangely allocated anyway, and not so comfortable.... Cell phones did not have any connections and the wifi didn't help much. However, we had a good time in Rome, also the apartment was OK for the 3 nights, but you should not expect anything fancy, rather something "interesting".

• Nicole (7/5): Good - Good location (near Trestavere) and the appartement is original and nicely decorated. It's quite and quite cool inside. The apartment, although not underground, does have a bit of a smell (humidity). It's fine with the AC on or the windows open...
• Donna (10/5): We would certainly recommend this place and would stay again. - It’s a cute little flat with lots of character. Very close to Vatican City. The stairs were a little difficult if you’re carrying too much like I did!
• Mikkel (9/5): Great authentication - A really nice ‘authentically Roman’ apartment. We were only two guests, but there was ample space for more. Great location right next to the Tiber river and the Vatican City. As many others have stated, mind the steps to the apartment. But once you get there, the terrace (in the middle of the city!) is fantastic. We followed Mauro’s recommendation of one of the local restaurants and were not disappointed 😋. Would be happy to stay again.
• Allison (8/5): Very good - Extremely easy to travel from the flat, either on foot or bus. We walked to Vatican easily during the day and explored Trevi Fountain area at night and felt safe walking back close to midnight! Great to be able to cook and eat together. Dishwasher and washing machine was a huge bonus. Wifi worked really well in the front room and TV area, but lost completely in the furthest bedroom. There some steep steps going up to the terrace but we managed with our luggage. Pros outweighed the cons!!

• Luca (6/5): friendly staff good location with some problems along the way - the property was in a very good location , very quite apart of some days when some building works were going on just close by. we had problems with Wi-Fi not working and walls of property were quite thick so 4/5g was not working either, did create problems for phone reception , property could have done with some spruce up renovation and a bit more of deep cleaning in some areas
• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - what isn’t there to like about the property. both the inside and outside space are amazing. breakfast in early morning sunshine, or a late evening wind down with friends, the terrace provides the perfect spot. couple that with a fully equipped kitchen and ample bed space, this is perfect for a weekend stay. as an older visitor the steps slowed me up a bit? but they cannot detract from the overall quality.
• Neil (10/5): Great location, spacious, very good value, beautifully furnished and cosy during the winter months. - Fantastic location, beautiful home and outdoor space - ideal for our young family. Very helpful host and excellent facilities. Basic bathroom supplies provided. Nothing negative to feedback. Only thing I could say is we arrived late at night so some basic kitchen food supplies would have been welcome (tea/coffee/ salt/ pepper etc).
• Amir (9/5): Superb - The distance to city centre is just perfect, We walked most places on foot. Having a beautiful garden terrace was superb garden view to enjoy the sun. Protective gates which make the place feel safe. Traditional style and clean Roman house which offer a lot of charm, and beautiful arts. The fully functional kitchen and Smart TV, large and comfy beds. Check on arrangement was with no hassle and both Nicola and Andrea were helping arranging our check in/check out before hand with very good communication. Few corner shops outside which is really helpful after a late night drinking. The WiFi speed was really good however range could definitely be improved by employing additional extenders. The master bathroom was a bit smelly. Our group was all young people backpacking around without any heavy luggages, however there are few sets of stairs in order to get to the flat which could be quite challenging for elderly individuals or people with kids and heavy luggages but not a problem for us. Also an additional set of key could've been very helpful but wasn't essential of course.
• Fabrizio (1/5): BE CAREFUL OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED TWICE - BE CAREFUL to the OWNER ! . The host may charge at your arrival the amount you already paid , saying that the payment executed during the booking via card was not successful. This is the bad experience I had , and despite I was insisting this wouldn’t have been possible ,It has asked me to pay at my arrival by card via a weblink through which they charged me on top +32 Euros of fees . Thanks to Booking Customer Service , I will get my money back , because once checked with my bank the transfers when back home , The owner has kept saying He did not receive any money transfer via the not refundable booking payment method . I travelled all around the world and something similar never happened , therefore watch out and most probably choose another accommodation where such unfortunate events won’t happen .
