Guest Reviews
- Maja (8/5): Very good -
- Gert (9/5): Good location in Trastevere and nice decorated app - Good location in Trastevere and lively neighbourhood. Kind host. Its a noisy area till 2u. The street is very alive 😃. But we knew that before and no problem. Just to know! And join the party…
- Pernille (4/5): Disappointing -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Keenan (8/5): Great location, would recommend for young and active couples. - Close proximity to the all the restaurants and lots of small shops.
The area really comes alive at night, lots of food options.
Bus stops not to far and taxis are frequently picking up and dropping off people in the area. The apartment is right next to a bar, so it was a bit noisy till approximately 1-2 in the morning.
- Julian (9/5): Everything was excellent - only complaint is that it is very noisy at night. Marcello (very considerate host) provided e -
- Ellen (9/5): Lovely apartment, right in the very popular Trastevere restaurant area - Right in the middle of Trastevere. Easy walking distance from tourist sights. Nice sized apartment. Host very helpful Quite a bit of noise from nearby restaurants until early hours of the morning. This is not a fault of the property but does mean earplugs may be necessary. On the plus side if you love the night life it’s right at your doorstep.
- Hanne (10/5): A brilliant apartment in a brilliant part of Rome. - The place is superlative. It is clean, and is right where we wanted to stay. The bed is amazingly comfortable (said by two old-ish people). The owner is always available, and answers everything immediately. And yes, it is a noisy area, but earplugs do the trick (we had no problems at all with noise, even during the weekend). We have been here before, and we will return again (we hope)....
- Vlad (10/5): Great little studio in an excellent location -
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful apartment with an excellent host and amenities, in a location that couldn't be cuter. - Pros: Central location, couldn't be any cuter or more "Roman," and close to every shop and restaurant you could imagine. Lots of amenities for a small space, including toaster, microwave, and stove-top. Excellent, responsive, communicative host. Marcello went out of his way to help us be satisfied with our stay. Cons: Just be advised that there is a bar directly underneath and they are open til late. Earplugs are graciously provided at no cost and if you are there for a good time, this is the location to be, but it can be a bit noisy.
- Sarija (9/5): Tidy apartment, excellent location. Noisy. - Apartment is nice and very central in Trastevere. It is well equipped, all you need for 5-day-visit. Cafe across the street near old gate was great for breakfast. If you are a light sleaper, nightclub-customers downstairs keep u awake outside your window every night until 2 a.m. , if that doesnt bother you, then this is perfect.
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location in Trastevere. The host was very friendly and helpful.
- Silvia (8/5): It was fine. We were there 2 nights. - It was a generously sized bedroom and the apartment in a good location. It was a bit compact in the bathroom.
- Pablo (10/5): Incredible place to visit Rome on foot - Excellent location, you can visit pretty much any mayor attraction in Rome by foot. Downstairs you can find dozens of great places to eat and drink until very late hours/
The apartment itself has also everything you could need for a pleasant stay, including a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook.
Some people complained about the noise downstairs (there's a pub that stays open late literally below the apartment), but we were so exhausted at the end of every night that it didn't bother us at all. Maybe the bed could have been firmer, but that's more of a preference thing.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (9/5): A wonderful stay in a fun part of Rome. - The apartment was a great size and fully equipped. We absolutely loved the location. It was easy to explore Trastevere but also to access sights in the centre. The apartment is right above a club that must cater to American tourists. It was really loud until 2:00am every night (Monday - Wednesday). We were set on getting up early each morning to beat the summer crowds, so sleeping was a little tough. But the wonderful location allowed us to come and rest each after afternoon—it was really quiet during the day.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay in the apartment was wonderful. Spacious apartment with a beautiful bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom stocked with supplies (the small things you’d usually need to buy, like salt and pepper, or sunscreen for example, he had!) The location is excellent, in a busy part of town with lots of bars, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Our host Marcello was wonderful, reached out to us days before to give us tips about how to get to the apartment, as well as things to do in the area. He met us early so we could drop off our bags, and even set up a ride for us to the airport on the way back!
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - We were very happy with the contact from host and extremely happy that he met us on arrival to explain how everything worked. Great spot to be able to walk around Trastevere day or night. Thanks Marcello for organising private taxi to property also.
- Nancy (10/5): excellent - we loved that it was in a fun neighbourhood, close to everything, well stocked, clean, and it was good to meet Marcello at the property.
- Joachim (9/5): Superb - excellent small apartment with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and there is a nice sofa. bathroom at the end of the hall is very nice with everything you need, including a good shower. very nice host. only downside is that people are gathering in front of the bar downstairs during the evening and into the night. But with the good windows and plugs it was no problem to sleep.
- Manuela (10/5): Cosy stay for 2 in Trastevere - This small appartement is the perfect size for two in a great location right in Trastevere. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. The appartement is also nicely designed, it is pretty. Marcelo was busy and we could not meet but he sent all the info and was always available on WhatsApp. Comfy bed. small and well equipped bathroom and kitchen. Nothing. Some guests mention the noise and music at night. True but stops completely at one point and it is not too loud. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night.
- Dalia (9/5): It is very organized place with all amenities in excellent condition - It’s clean and well organized despite the tiny space, the amenities were all available, in general the place is very well maintained with a touch of care The area is very hype and full of foreign youngsters who are loud typical of their age
- Craig (9/5): Great apartment in a great location - The location to restaurants and bars was great. easy walking to most locations. No washing machine as stated in the apartment details
