• Ralf (8/5): - Die Lage ist wunderbar . Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen Blick auf die Engelsburg . Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Petersdom sozusagen vor der Haustür. Wir können dieses Apartment sehr empfehlen.
• Steffi (9/5): Wunderschönes Apartment mit großartigen Blick - Die Lage des Apartments ist super und der Blick auf die Engelsburg klasse. Das Apartment war sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und alles erklärt. Rund um ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Lit convertible de mauvaise qualité. Conciergerie peu arrangeante (on a demandé de à laisser nos bagages pour 30 min le temps de récupérer notre voiture de location : non catégorique)

• Tim (10/5): Beautiful apartment. Great place to stay for a visit to Rome. Can't recommend highly enough. - We love this apartment on ViaPaola. When we decided to travel back to Rome we immediately booked again. It's in a great location, close to everything, in a quieter neighborhood and has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Castel San Angelo. We hope we will have the opportunity to stay here again.

• Mary (7/5): Overall nice stay. Fix the bed situation. - Perfect location. Walking distance to Vatican. Several good restaurants near by. The staff were polite and easy to reach. The upstairs bedroom has a fold out sofa. It was very comfortable for our adult friends. Not sure if it’s a zoning thing as to why they don’t have a proper bed. They were a little skimpy with coffee and shampoo. If they fixed this I would have given them a 10 rating.

• Valerie (10/5): Spacious, convenient - Beautiful apartment, friendly staff. Spacious! Rome is loud. :) This is walking distance to most major landmarks in Rome, but with that comes the noise of a big city. (Not the apartment's fault, just FYI.)
• Klima (8/5): Good including super convenient location but for the standard of the place I expect much more. - Perfect location and very nice/available staff. Great view. I rented this apartment mainly due to its nice rooftop terrace and the view from it. Given the price per night I expected a bit of a higher standard in terms of cleanliness (especially terrace) and quality of furnitures. Which on the photos appeared high quality and reality is a bit different… Also sleeping for one week on the extra squeaking foldable beds in the leaving room was not comfortable. Please note that there is only one proper bedroom bed. The other room has sofa double bed. We were there as a family of 6. Another negative is an intense night noise. The worst are every morning around 5am from the garbage collectors, noise of broken glass bottles from the beneath restaurants… windows are not really isolated. I guess this is the process of being in the centre
• Philip (5/5): Irritating check-in... - Very large spacious apartment with a nice view. Nice roof terrace. Sofa bed was comfortable. Good communication ahead of arriving. Company offers private transfers for almost three times the price of a taxi. The check-in person was rude (calling me old), they were over-bearing and spent too long explaining unnecessary details. It felt invasive - we just wanted to know the most important things quickly and efficiently, we did not need a detailed room by room tour. The apartment did not feel secure - the lift door does not lock from inside the apartment. It opens straight into the apartment with a code, so anyone can enter at any time with the code. The main room of the apartment, was not comfortable or cosy. There was a fault with the lift. On the last night - it continuously went up and down every couple of minutes, which kept us awake. There are no locks on the internal doors, they're all broken. Kitchen was dark and poorly lit - which was just strange given how light the whole apartment was. The late check-in fee was irritating and was not referenced on the booking.com website prior to the booking, only after the booking was made, which we didn't see. We arrived at 9.02pm and were charged €30, which just annoyed me even more after being called old by the check-in staff member. Just factor it into the price of the apartment. No paperwork or receipt given for the city-tax, also at this point, it felt like €86, went into the check-in persons pocket. WIFI didn't work well upstairs. Check out time was also not made clear on the booking.com website prior to booking, it was only made clear after. This was too early at 10am. No, supermarkets near the apartment. The Apartment was not in a nice area of town. A lot of rubbish in the streets outside and the road was very dirty.
• Algirdas (10/5): Everything you could expect and beyond - We were contacted by the host previous to arrival, we were met by a person at the flat to handover the keys and explain everything. Super nice experience.
• Elena (7/5): Fantastic scenery, best location between Vatican and main sightings. - Location and Terrace are the very same as at the picture. There is a bedroom with the convertible sofa and terrace big window upstairs, and the second master bedroom downstairs. In February it’s actually the hell cold in the marble rooms, and the boiler is not a heater. Heater upstairs is severe however, but downstairs was cold. Hint: bring your favorite slippers or warm socks for “cozy home” feeling. No bathrobes in the apartment according to regulation. Electricity was blackouted a couple of times because of excess gadgets (washing machine, dishwasher and electric kettle at once was too much)). It was a problem to catch up with the check-in as there was nobody in the apartment at any time, and many apartments were operated at once with the lack of personnel , I mean we were waiting about 3 hours to get into the rooms as we missed our early check in appointment due to some logistic reasons. It may be the case when you book an apartment rather then a hotel.
• Preston (10/5): Great stay especially for a Vatican pilgrimage. - Very cool atmosphere. Awesome place and great view. Kitchen was stocked appropriately and directions for close-by groceries was nice to receive. Very central to all things Vatican related. If interested in Old Rome, this is a bit of a hike. Elevator is rather small and, naturally, it was broken when we had to vacate. So we had to drag all of our luggage and my elderly parents down very narrow stairs without hand rails. Not the properties fault, but something to be aware of.

• Joanne (8/5): It’s a lovely property, but it needs to describe the bedding more accurately. - We loved the location of the property and the size of it. The booking details described 2 bedrooms and 2 double beds. It would be more accurate to say that it is one large bedroom with a double bed and one sun room with a double sofa bed. Whilst we loved the property, the bedding set up was not ideal (properly described) for our family of 5 (inc. 3 teenagers.) My husband and I slept in the sofa bed for 5 nights which, unfortunately, wasn’t what we were expecting for this luxury property.
