• Giuri (1/5): Uninhabitable and Unsafe - Avoid This Property - N/a Our holiday was completely ruined. This property should not be on the market as it is still a construction site. • Toxic Environment: There was an overwhelming, nauseating smell of fresh paint throughout the apartment. Even with windows open in the December cold, the fumes were unbearable and caused a health hazard. • Unfinished State: We arrived to find a handyman still working and a cleaner trying to clear construction debris. There was thick white dust from painting/sanding on every surface, including inside kitchen cupboards and the fridge. • No Heating: The apartment was freezing. The specific heating system was non-functional, and the building's central heating was insufficient. • Structural Issues: The shower flooded the bathroom immediately due to a drainage failure. Bathroom shutters were broken, and the washing machine did not work. • Hygiene: The mattress was still wrapped in industrial plastic under the sheets. We could not use the kitchen as it was filthy. • Safety: No Carbon Monoxide detector was present. We had to vacate immediately and find a hotel. The owner's small partial refund does not begin to cover the stress and extra costs incurred.
