- Pamela (1/5): We enjoyed our time in Rome, pity about the hellhole we were subjected to for 9nights - Breakfast was not included. The only plus for the property was the location. No one was contactable by phone and eventually another couple staying in the building let us in. She made contact with them by email and someone turned up on a motor bike and advised there was 5 flights of stairs. Once we reached the summit he asked Eur108 for city tax. He showed a piece of paper and with the tax printed on it for us to see. I thought it excessive but had to pay. Eventually I realised Booking.com had already includedd the city tax when finalising the payment to the owner. Then I realised we had been overcharged. We went to the Rome Tourist Office in Navona to be told we had been overcharged. It worked out we had paid the tax 3 times. They doubled the cost to us plus the prepayment. That was just the start to the most terrible experience. The person who gave us the keys did not know how to use the stove. The photos on the website would be at least 20years old. The walk in dressing room was a storage area for the owner with a full size ladder, full size electric fan, one wall partitioned with various chemicals. There was a rack with coat hangers that were plastic coated that had corroded and totally unusable. The next day a maintenance person came and he could not get the stove to work and said there was a problem. Also, electric wires hung from various places. We had not television and the maintenance person fiddled with wires and had it going but nothing in English. It got to a point that when anyone came there was always something that was a problem. There was 1 cup that was not cracked. I pointed this out and the maintenance was going to bring 2new ones but nothing happened. The out door area is a disgrace. The timber table was broken and the chairs were also in a state of disrepair. There was food left from previous guests and when I asked could this be thrown, I was told it could be eaten. Also they changed the name to White Navona the day we left. Everything in the apartment.
- Louise (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (6/5): Pleasant - Location is terrific. It is time for this apartment to get a make over as things are getting quite worn
- James (6/5): Great location pity about the bathroom and no lift - Luigi was a very helpful host.
Location. Property should have disclosed that apartment was on fourth floor with no lift.
Bathroom was desperately in need of an upgrade.
- Abdulaziz (1/5): Worst place i ever rented - Only the location First of all its a Freud they had uploaded old pictures of the property as it was new and clean when you arrive you will be hit with the reality.
Its old with broken furniture!
You have to go up 3 floors with your luggage ! As they don’t have elevator
The AC make sounds that will make you go crazy
Anyone read my comment for your own sake DONT BOOK
- Bernadette (10/5): Great location, great weekend . Loved the terrace. Would go back - It was local and private N/A
- Terry (5/5): Passable - location was spot on. 5 minutes from Piazza Navona and local bars restaurants.
Bed was comfy but aircon in bedroom very noisy. 71 steps to the apartment very dated inside poor standard of furniture one of the beds looked as though it would collapse if layed upon. Bathroom poor and shower partially enclosed which made it difficult for me to shower as I'm 6ft 4 in. Also shower head button didn't work and balcony furniture in poor condition
- Julcsi (8/5): Very good - Location and terrace Noise
- Arman (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
