• Elida (2/5): - Location and girl who was sent ti pick us up. She was there already waiting and very nice indvidual. She is the only thing I would reccomend. Not clean. Had to pay extra for linens and towels. Pillows were old and the wool was coming out of them. There was a terrible smell in the toillete. One word - do not reccomend. Tv not functional. Some bugs in the toillete. Mattraces were old and dirty. Price too high for such a place.

• Alfonso (5/5): - The place is close to the Colosseum and strategically close to many attractions in Rome. You can park your car on the blue line around the building. The place is old. TV didn't work. I had to pay for bed sheets and towels (10 euro/person) which is disappointing considering that they were smelly and worn. In addition, you are forced to create a paypal account to pay tourist tax (4,5 euro/day/person). Bathroom is the worse and requires maintenance.

• Milos (1/5): Avoid this - Nothing Mould in the bathroom, additional payment for basic stuff like linens and towels. The apartment was very dark. In the living room shutters were broken and couldn't be opened. There were electric plugs in the shower cabinet. Also cooking stove not working - it was an induction stove so I am not sure if it was not working or pots were not the right type, but anyway we were not able to prepare ourselves a dinner. Beds are uncomfortable. Look at the photos and avoid this at all costs. Owners were rude and unhelpful. Refrigerator was frozen and not working. In the kitchen, drying racks are rusted. I would add more photos but the app is not allowing me.
• Pugliese (8/5): Soggiorno abbastanza piacevole, ma servirebbe una migliore manutenzione. - La posizione era davvero ottima, la struttura accogliente e i proprietari gentili e disponibili. Servirebbe un po’ più di attenzione nella manutenzione, per esempio cambiare le lampadine in quanto la luce era davvero debole, o aggiustare la porta e le tapparelle. Tutto sommato il nostro soggiorno è stato abbastanza piacevole.
• Samuel (1/5): Pésima no recomiendo a nadie - Soy Samuel pagué por dos noches en este apartamento colosseo boutique aparment que el la foto de perfil sale con el nombre de Carol y Matteo yo pagué por dos noches me dieron la dirección fui y nunca nadie me dio una respuesta toque el timbre y nadie me respondió normalmente cuánto contratas un alojamiento de inmediato se comunican para darte las contraseñas de acceso pero no en mi caso fue diferente estuve en la calle a media noche con mi bebé de dos años fue muy incómodo e inseguro no poder tener repuesta de nadie fue mi primera vez en Roma Italia y me llevó una pésima experiencia con culpa de esta persona al día siguiente intenté comunicarme con booking y lo único que me dijeron fue que me va a devolver el 60 euros lo cual no me parece justo Si vas a pagar por un lugar donde quedarte asegúrate que sea otro y no contrates a este alojamiento COLOSSEO BOUTIQUE APARMENT a cuantos viajeros no hayas estafado Nunca me respondieron mis llamadas mis correos ni el WhatsApp

• Rico (6/5): - The location is amazing, only 10 minutes from the Colosseum. The apartment need a lot of TLC. Everything from the lights, blinds, beds, shower would benefit from being upgraded and or repaired.

• Denise (1/5): - The location was the only thing that waa good about this booking. The slated beds kept falling through, if you sat on it. The light in the bedrooms where so dim, it made it hard to see. The living room only had two working lights. The shower had black mold or wasn't clean properly. The cleaning supplies was just left in the bathroom. They only gave 1 towel each for a 4 nights stay when we requested at least two for each person. They charged us not only the VA tax but linen and towels charges by pay pal before you stayed. The owner was very demanding on getting payment starting two days before even before checking in. Also we had a friend meet us Rome whom was thinking of staying with us. When we were dropping off our luggage early since check in was 5pm the cleaning people asked how many, and we said possibility 3 people, they owner called us within minutes and demand that we turned around and pay the cleaning people 120 euros for an extra person. She didn't even get to look at the place properly before deciding to stay but paid the charge in cash. Once we returned there was no extra being for her, nor linen. It was not comfortable fir her so she only stayed one night then got a hotel room. The owners didn't respond to our request for refund since they did not supply what was needed for her and she was not going to sleep on a stained couch. We tried contacting them multiple times but they ignored our messages. I Do Not Recommend the place at all. Also they had bugs on the floor in the bathroom and I spotted some lizard running down the hallway. The walls are so thin ,you can hear the neighbors having relations. UgH!! You Have Been Warned if you Stay.

• Akara (1/5): Really bad experience - فقط الموقع جيد The hosts asks for the of bed linen after I completed the booking, and they didn’t share the check in steps and key password, because they want me to pay the amount of bed linen first. And even booking didn’t help me in fixing this issue.

The apartment was extremely dirty—sticky floors, unclean kitchen items, and stained bedsheets and linens. To make matters worse, a stranger tried to enter with laundry during my stay. We wanted to leave within an hour of arriving, but everywhere else was fully booked. On top of that, the host charged me a tourist fee for my 8-year-old son, even though children that age should be exempt.

• Sarbast (3/5): Poor - Location only Lighting, facilities, services, cleanliness, staffing, payment method, no beverages, no tea/coffee facilities, no toiletries at all For paying city taxes, the landlord asked for unofficial payment methods, such as PayPal. When I stated that the paypal option doesn't work, as I don't have any accounts, the Landlord asked me to share my Visa Card details with him. Even his PayPal account is unofficial. We ended up leaving the city taxes (€36) in cash on the dining table inside the appartment which were collected by the landlord. The landlord entered the apartment using his key during our stay while we were out in the city. The apartment reality and the pictures on Booking.com are totally different.
• Vere (2/5): Horrible, wouldn’t recommend to anybody - It was very close to the Colosseum For starters, we were with two and booked this appartment so we could have two separate bedrooms. Upon arrival, only one bed was made up. When contacting the hosts, they were incredibly unfriendly and said that ‘we should have told them’ that we wanted two beds. However, there is zero information about contacting them on booking.com, nor did they indicate anything about it in their messages to us. So when we arrived and saw one unmade bed (with a very dirty matress, mind you), we were confused. We contacted Carol immediately on arrival (around 17.00), who told us that it wasn’t possible to get new bed linnen to the appartment that night, said ‘you should have told us’, but she said that ‘she could see if someone could come the next morning’. After that, she no longer replied to our calls or texts. On the second day, we then contacted the other host, Matteo, who also said ‘you should have told us’ and then said that he could have the cleaner make up the bed ‘especially for is’ AGAIN the next morning (yes, even after Carol told us she could see if someone could do it on the morning of our second day). Matteo then also never responded to our calls or texts. The cleaner eventually ended up making the bed on our third day, meaning that only one out of three nights, we were actually able to make use of the two separate bedrooms that we paid for. Next to this, we had no hot water on the first night and had to shower freezing cold because the water boiler was turned off. There are no curtains in one of the bedrooms. The washing bags with dirty laundry from previous guests were in the living room the whole time during our stay. Additionally, it wasn’t very clean. All in all, we very much regretted booking this appartment. The only upside was the location, which is a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum.

• Kosta (1/5): Huge disappointment. - Location. And that is it. unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. First off, the entire place had a horrible stench and felt incredibly dirty and sleazy. The bathroom was a nightmare—there was visible mold everywhere, and the bathtub didn’t drain properly, causing water to overflow. The TV didn’t work at all, and to make matters worse, there was no AC, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. The window shades were broken and had missing pieces. The walls were filthy and looked like they hadn't been painted in years. The fridge was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned in what seemed like ages. To top it all off, there was no hand soap or shower gel provided, which is just basic hospitality. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

• Steven (5/5): Location is good for the money, bare bones apartment - The good. Location was about four blocks ( walking distance)from the Colosseum and restaurants and groceries. The apartment does not have Air conditioning, it was very hot and hard to sleep. We had to leave windows open and the neighborhood is loud throughout the night. Also no soap included for bathroom or kitchen.

• Sacha (7/5): Good - Good value and great location. Separate rooms are always a plus. The check in was easy and accommodating (we arrived ahead of time). Overall a fair value when comparing to other options in Rome, although some small adjustments should be made for full points. There are several points of contempt here, which I will also communicate to the host separately: - The water heater was not accommodating to larger groups (4-5) showering successively, unless the showers are very short. - No bin in the bathroom - No hand soap in the bathroom (we left a dispenser behind) - Although it is not in a very bad state, the shower could be cleaner, and the drain could be cleaned to flow better

The apartment needs some cleaning up and renovation especially the bathroom area. It was hard to communicate with the apartment manager because it takes a long time for them to reply.

• Ali (5/5): it was a moderate experience. - the location was good, shops were very close. the fans that were attached to the celling were not sufficient enough as the weather was very hot in Rome. at night we couldn't sleep properly because of how hot it was and fans were of no use. the microwave wasn't working, and the shower stall kept flooding.

• Monika (5/5): Passable - Location of the apartment is very good near by Colosseum. Clear instructions were sent before the check-in. The air-conditioning was not present, only ceiling fans were in the rooms which were not enough to bring the temperature in the apartment down enough during hot summer days. Whole apartment is oriented to quite busy street - very noisy until the late night hours, not possible to sleep with windows open. Beds were all prepared but sleeping cover sheets were missing.

Impossible to sleep on open window due to the noise from the street below. Mirror only in barhroom which is also very hot, the window doesnt open there
