Guest Reviews
- Amine (7/5): -
- Roger (9/5): Excellent accommodation, close to the train station and public transport. Highly recommended. - The apartment was huge. Big separate rooms for the bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom.
Full facilities, all well organized. It’s a bit old but its also quite clean
The old, old life is a little confusing to newbies, so occasionally you might have to walk 5 floors

- Andrew (8/5): A great place to stay in a colourful neighbourhood - With easy access to public transport the location is very convenient, a great place to base yourself as you explore Rome. Most major attractions are only a 30 minute walk away and when you’re ready to come home Rome’s well connected public transport system will deliver you almost to the door.
Thr apartment is very homely and spacious, unusual for an apartment in a big city. It has a washing machine, so useful on a long trip. It’s a nice place to relax. I had some work to do and appreciated having a nice desk where I could spread out.
The neighbourhood is very colourful. This area has a cultural diversity missing from other parts of Rome that I liked. Yes, there are some homeless people there (and quite likely pharmaceutical transactions of an errr informal nature) but they never bothered me at all. Instead you find Indian restaurants, Chinese ladies doing their morning Tai Chi in the nearby park, young people practicing their moves for their insta videos and people of every culture in groups or at cafes and shops sharing the news.
At the same time there are great places to eat nearby. The station has a great range of very good restaurants open at nearly all hours and there are other more traditional cafes and restaurants a short walk from the apartment.
Oh I shouldn’t forget my welcome. The representative was there right on time with an explanation about the area and the apartment and left me with a bag of treats and a bottle of wine. How cool is that? The location isn’t for everyone. There’s no way to sugar coat it, the area has a reputation for petty crime and you’ll want to keep your wits about you.
Mind you that can be said for all of Rome and frankly you’re probably more likely to be pickpocketed while distracted looking at something spectacular than walking briskly to the apartment keeping a keen eye on whose around. The apartment itself is very secure
That said I travelled too and from the apartment at all times of the day and night and had no problems at all.
it’s literally 100m from the main station which has a strong police presence so I felt very safe walking home from the station.
- Daniele (5/5): Slight disappointment - Close to public transport, good size for our family of 3. Great ports cot for our 9 month old Simple basic items were missing
Not enough toilet paper for our stay
No bath mat making the bathroom a slip hazard after a shower
No dishwasher liquid
One tea towel
Sugar was dirty ? Mould
Basic like coffee and cooking oil not provided
Description of elevator not lost in discrption. Old two door elevator and often one door left open and hence elevator would not work would have been liked to be more aware of it prior to arrival
- Srdjan (8/5): Very good -
- Towers (7/5): Near the station, but difficult to make arrangements with the owner. - The location is very close to Roma Termini, so very central and convenient for Rome, although as with many large cities near the main railway station is a bit rough round the edges. The number of different messages I got beforehand was overwhelming, asking me to scan the passports - which took me about an hour, and lots of different messages asking me things I had already said. It may have been Booking.com's fault because they would tell me I had a new message and so I would go on their app only to be told there wasn't one (when there was!) I felt ill used because I had already paid and then I faced all this hassle.
- Tamara (4/5): We were not very happy with our stay - The property was advised as two bedrooms and seperate living when we arrived there was a bedroom and then a living room with sofa.
When this was brought up I was not even offered any discount. The apartment was not very clean and we were also not given enough towels two towels for three people
- Amit (7/5): Great Location and Facilities - Location, Facilities provided in apartment, Connectivity Not sure if owner can do anything related to this issue - There are many strange people roaming at the bottom of the building, most of the time in the evening drinking beer and you see broken bottles. I am not sure how the other neighborhood areas are in Roam but This makes us feel a bit unsafe.
- Alexander (9/5): Superb -
- Miklovicova (10/5): Not sure if location is really safe, we never went out when was the dark…. - This is a really great flat, with the new kitchen with everything what you need. Many strange people around the station
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Mark (5/5): Pimpinella Rome - The location was good for getting around Rome, near the train station, tube and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and some tourist attractions. The apartment was clearn The building was rundown, daughter felt uneasy with the lift, stairs had seen better days, not the best neighbourhood.
- Naveen (8/5): Very good - Good facilities
Have all the equipments required.
Location is a plus owing to proximity to Roma termini Bathroom was manageable
Location was on the rough side with homeless people littering and roaming around, just have to be safe while reaching the room late night
- Patrycja (8/5): Very good - Large rooms, beds (except one) were comfortable. Coffee machine, microwave in the kitchen, bidet in the bathroom. Good localisation, close to the market, metro stops, bus station and about 20 mins walk from main attractions. Overall everything was great and as expected. One single, fold out bed not very comfortable. Chairs in the kitchen a bit broken.
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good -
- Andrey (7/5): Good - New kitchen equipment, heating worked properly Location, very dirty area, seems to be not safe especially in the evening. Several times saw rats around garbage bins. The apartment was not cleaned properly before our arrival.
