В квартире было всё необходимое, вплоть до самых мелочей, например, аптечка первой и необходимой помощи, карта и прочее. Что нам действительно помогло, так это небольшой запас еды, самого необходимого. Наш самолет прилетел поздно и мы доехали до апартаментов очень поздно, а такая забота помогла перекусить детям и не думать о еде. Я желаю Луиджи и его супруге больше благодарных клиентов и успехов в делах.

We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts and little surprises that made us feel genuinely appreciated and right at home — such a beautiful touch that meant a lot to us. The location is absolutely perfect — you can see the Colosseum right from the balcony, just a few steps away! Everything was spotlessly clean, elegant, and beautifully designed. The whole place carries the spirit of Rome, and staying here made our trip feel even more special and memorable. Of course, as expected from such a central location, it’s not completely quiet — but that’s part of the charm of being in the heart of Rome, and it didn’t bother us at all. The air conditioning isn’t the quietest, but everything else was simply wonderful.

He provided clear and helpful information that made check-in and my entire stay very smooth. • Lynda (10/5): A wonderful weekend in a beautiful city made all the more special thanks to our host, Luigi and his elegant accommodatio - Beautiful appartment in a fantastic location. The main reason for our short visit was to show my grandson the Colosseum and we couldn’t have been better placed. Every need was catered for from the well equipped kitchen to the extremely comfortable beds. Getting around Rome was easy owing to the proximity of the Metro which was also a huge bonus. Luigi gave us a fantastic welcome. We were able to check in early and we were very touched by all the gifts he had prepared for us such as a generously stocked fridge, a delicious homemade pastry and a bottle of bubbles to enjoy at the end of the day. He was also very helpful with regard to organising taxis for us to and from the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay there again on any future trip to Rome. There is nothing, in my opinion, that could be improved upon.

• Marjolijn (10/5): Perfect stay in Rome! - The location is perfect, the apartment very clean, lovely decorated and comfortable with lots of space and anything you might need to make your stay the best you could wish for. Even a washing machine and dishwasher, so clean towels and plates every day. Luigi made sure a taxi waited for us at the airport and provided us with information, breakfast supplies AND PIE! We had a wonderful time in Rome and would not hesitate to stay in Dolce Casa Colosseo again a next time! Just one tip: perhaps some extra pillows for the difficult sleepers :)
• Narek (8/5): Very good - The apartment is perfectly located, close to the Colosseum and charming cafes. Across the street, there is a park where you can work out, which was important to me. The host made every effort to ensure the apartment was fully equipped with everything needed. I would also like to highlight Luigi (the host), a wonderful person who was always available and genuinely cared to make sure everything was perfect. He quickly resolved all the minor issues that came up upon arrival. There are some downsides to the apartment that you should be aware of. The building is old, and the soundproofing is almost nonexistent, even though double-glazed windows are installed in the rooms. At night, if some tipsy youngsters passed by or the garbage trucks came around, it was impossible not to wake up. Keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper. I also want to mention that we stayed with our kids, aged 6 and 8, and they were quite comfortable sleeping on the sofa (extra bed in the living room). However, for an adult, sleeping there would be very uncomfortable. That said, I would like to emphasize that, despite these two drawbacks, the apartment is generally in good condition.

The apartment is gorgeous and, in the perfect location, steps from the stunning colosseum, which you can see from the balcony. Luigi, the host, is a great guy. He met us on arrival and made us feel so welcome and showed us where to go, local eateries and supermarkets, etc Our apartment was equipped with everything needed, including shower gels, shampoo/consitioner/hair dryer/straighteners, all sorts, so you don't need to take anything with you. Luigi had also made sure there were waters/milk/bread/tea/coffee/meats and champagne on arrival.... It's just awesome..... I would highly recommend booking this accommodation and I will definitely be returning... thank you, luigi Also, there is a great cafe directly beneath the apartment, which is so handy for breakfast and coffee 👌👌 Loved everything

• Marina (10/5): Wonderful stay - The apartment is very stylish with authentic Roman interior and very clean. The host was kind and waited for us patiently despite the late hour we arrived. The place is located perfectly, on a quiet street next to the Colosseo. In addition, the windows are soundproof which is very important for a light sleeper like me. The only thing I would suggest is for adults to not use the coach in the living room because it gets uncomfortable when heavy people lie on it. I think it is suitable only for kids.

Lots of good places to eat close by and could walk to all the main attractions. No trouble getting a taxi when needed. Was good to be able to lookout over park and have glimpses of the Colosseum. Airconditioning worked well and was good escape from the hot summer days in Rome. The entrance door to the apartment block was a bit finicky but not a major problem. The common areas had a musty smell which is probably not uncommon in older-styled buildings but not issue once you were inside the apartment.

• Dimka (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is a real gem right next to Colosseo, near a metro station and very convenient for accessing all the historical places in Rome-many of them are on walking distance. The property is stylishly renovated, very clean and comfortably equipped with everything needed. There were complementary coffee, soft drinks, prosecco, breakfast supplies, and even homemade pie.The hosts were very kind. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely come back again.Highly recommend!

Our balcony had a view of the colosseum and the colosseum was a short walk away. Our hosts were hospitable, generous and accommodating. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

Honestly you will not be disappointed. We were 4 adults so not sure how the accommodation would work but was perfect. The sofa bed actually very comfortable and the space works well for adults sharing. The location, the apartment and Luigi all were amazing really could not have asked for more. The flat was well decorated, cleaned and stocked with all the essentials a traveller would need including pastry, coffee, and ham and eggs! The property was very clean, all utilities worked well and the AC helped cut the afternoon heat of Rome. We look forward to returning - thank you Luigi and Cristina!

Laundry on site with drying racks to allow for us to clean our clothes mid trip traveling in Italy. Greeted at the apartment by Luigi who showed us through and gave us tips on navigating the sites of Rome. The kitchen was stocked with a freshly baked cake and the fridge full of breakfast supplies as well as a lovely bottle of Prosecco. Couldn't have asked for more and will definitely stay again when we visit Rome next.

Right up the street from colosseum and close to lots of other sights. Everything at the condo was so nice and clean. Luigi makes you feel very welcome with stocked treats for your stay and help with getting around town and restaurant recommendations. when we make it back to Rome we will definitely be staying here again. nothing everything was great

Met us with a friendly demeanour, helped with our bags (first floor walk up - lift available), and provided the most generous welcome gifts of every place we've stayed throughout Italy over the past 4 weeks! Location was awesome, just up from the Colosseum. The only real negative was that due to the roadwork currently happening around the Colosseum one of the shorter access routes up from the Colosseum Metro stop was not accessible, making for a longer walk around then up hill with our bags. Not something I'd 'penalise' the accommodation for!

Looking at the Colosseum from the balcony is wonderful. The hosts left a lovely, very handy, welcome package. Good public transport connections. There was nothing that we didn’t like.
• Andrea (10/5): Clean, cozy, charming apartment, great location. - Location close to coliseum, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, stores very close. Charming, historical building. Our host, Luigi, was wonderful. There were snacks and treats for us and some drinks. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, utensils, dishes, toaster, fridge, microwave, Nespresso machine, and many more items. Not complaints, just information. Parking is tricky and limited. There are stairs to apartment. Again, Luigi was very helpful and met us outside the apartment to assist with luggage and parking.

Luigi is a fantastic host; he helped us in our luggage via lift (appartment in the 1st floor while lift stop in the 2nd. not an issue at all). He and hi wife waited us outside, they showed as the appartment and they gave as a lemon cake, drinks and snack for our use. The sofa bed was good size and my kids did not complaint. Location is perfect, we walked from the appartment to the major historic parts of Rome. Luigi helped us to arrange a taxi to the station after our check out. we loved the appartment theme and the historic decoration. we will definitely return to this flat. The restaurants nearby are all good ( I had in the restaurant at the back street of the building, the best tiramisu during my 15 days across Italy stay). Nothing really. everything was good and pleasant

He left us a ton of food for breakfast and amazing coffee, but the best of all was his wife's homemade pie. The apartment is right next to the Colesseum, which is an excellent location. Another good thing is that there are a bunch of restaurants close by. We'll definitely be going back one day! .....

You can stand on the small balcony and see the Colosseum. The bed was comfortable and the night was peaceful, with very little noise. Unfortunately but understandably for a very old building, there was an unpleasant smell from the plumbing in the bathroom. I think we must have been unlucky to experience that as other guests do not mention it in reviews. The skate board riders in the skate facility across the road were noisy in the daytime but it was closed at night, so not a problem.

The host went beyond his way to make our stay comfortable. The cake from his wife was a thoughtful gesture. Perfect over a hot cup of coffee. He really put a lot of effort and his heart in managing the place and servicing his clients. BTW the cafe below has the best tiramisu in Rome. They make it fresh for you. Would definitely come again! One of best services I've experienced in a long time! I love everything about the place. Perhaps they could get rid of the artificial flowers. But this will not affect my 10/10 score for the place

There were restaurants right below the apartment and down most of the streets close by. Luigi , was an exceptional host who went out his way to accomodate us and arrange for transport both from and to the airport. We arrived way past 1am and he was waiting in the apartment to show us around. He gave us some tips and showed us the map and how to get around. A very special touch was the beautiful champagne awaiting us and the cake baked by his partner. He was kind to stock the fridge with some basics for our breakfast as we have kids. Luigi assisted us to get our baggage up to the room in the first floor. He was an exemplary host , very willing to help in any way. I would highly recommend this place. Nothing

• Megan (7/5): Good - The location was excellent. Close to public transport, food and the Colloseum. The foors were dirty when we arrived. I accidentally dropped some clothing and a lot of dust was picked up on the item. There was no light where the washing machine was. The switch on the washing machine was broken and you had to stick your finger in the hole where it was to start it. A safety hazard.
• Ying (10/5): Perfect. Would like to stay there again when in Rome. - The host is amazing. Very thoughtful, accommodating and super fast response. The location is also perfect and the decoration is beautiful.
• Stacy (10/5): Great spot to visit the Colosseum and surrounding sites, with wonderful hosts! - Great location to visit the Colosseum. Very spacious, 2 A/C units, and a washer. The goodies left by the host were a wonderful surprise and great midnight snacks! The wifi worked well too.
• Shin (10/5): Exceptional - There is nothing to shame. Peferct.
