• Lara (4/5): It was a ton of work and hassle to get in and out of apt plus it needs mold and safety addressed - Newly remodeled appliances/ paint/ floors / view from rooftop. Good area, responsive and polite managers. There are 68 stairs ( it did say way down on description it was on 4th floor , but it was 7-8 flights of stairs , quite a few tight circular and not well lit- quite dangerous honestly going up and down, especially at night. 2nd bathroom was moldy, had no water pressure in shower and didn’t ever get warm on 2nd day. There is no jacuzzi / spa . When I asked manager , she said it’s the bathtub in the bathroom , which had no jet. So this is straight up not true. There should be a handrail for safety on the 2 flights of inside apt stairs going up to living room . The closets in hall had owners clothes in them without locks , so it felt a bit weird . Other details - Towel rack warmer in master did work - Lack of sufficient bath and hand towels in master - limited hand soap and body wash - Minimal trash container size in master bath.. no trash receptacle in bedroom - Bathroom door runs on tile when opening door I really question the high ratings with almost none mentioning stair situation .. so I wonder if AI wrote reviews … I could never recommend any traveler stay here unless some type of at least luggage lift is installed .. and above issues addressed . I travel often in Europe , so I feel I’m a good person to evaluate - I think it could be a great rental tho in future with the renovations and investment they put in recently -
• Eileen (9/5): Fabulous apartment with roof terrace - Amazing location, 5-10 minutes walk to Campo de’Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trastevere and the Vatican. Great places nearby to eat and close to a few supermarkets for essentials. The apartment was well designed and beautifully decorated. The roof terrace was fabulous; with lovely views of St Peter’s, the Tiber, Castel Sant Angelo. Great air conditioning, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen (though we didn’t find the microwave). Staff were really helpful; responded very quickly to all questions before our arrival & arranged to meet us early to drop off our luggage, which was much appreciated as we had an early flight. Staff also carried our luggage up stairs on arrival! The welcome bottle of fizz was a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend and book again. A small things would have made our stay even better. There was no overhead sun shade on the roof terrace, this was made clear in the apartment description before we booked. We didn’t think this would be a problem due to the time of year we were visiting but temperatures were unexpectedly high. Repairing the overhead sun shade or providing some parasols would have made the roof terrace a more usable space throughout the day, not only early morning and evening times. A more powerful hairdryer would also be good.
