Guest Reviews
- Diana (10/5): - Great apartment! Roberto and his assistant met us upon arrival to Rome. He was at all times in contact with me and willing to accommodate. The apartment itself is in perfect location, very close to Spanish Steps and touristic center. The apartment is clean, spacious, very stylistic, has a lot of lighting, AC, and great wifi. One thing to keep in mind is that the building has no elevator and the apartment is located on 4th floor (or 3rd floor with ground floor). I highly recommend staying here, and will keep this apartment in mind next time I am in Rome.

- Eduardo (10/5): Great place! - Surprisingly spacious for its location and fully equipped with everything you need (3 smart TVs, Nespresso machine, microwave, stove, and more). Excellent location, within easy reach of Rome’s main attractions. The apartment is on the third floor and accessible only by stairs, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern. I loved it! Fast and efficient communication with the property managers. Nothing!
- Claudia (9/5): - Posizione perfetta e appartamento dotato di ogni comfort Le tre rampe di scale per arrivare
- Yassine (10/5): Great place and great service 11/10 - Service was excellent
The stuff was very friendly None
- Niczki (9/5): - Excellent location to explore the historic center. We walked everywhere.
Roberto was really helpful and tried to assist us with all our queries.
Apartment was spacious enough for a family of 4 and it has everything what you need for a short visit. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so we had to carry up & down our lagguages.
It's a bit noisy.

- Сергей (10/5): -
- Jorge (9/5): Volveremos !!!!!
- Arkady (1/5): -
- Duilio Sergio (8/5): exelente - Ubicacion aire acondicionado, habitacion grande dejo de funcionar

- Bridget (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely big apartment in a great location. We walked to great restaurants, shops, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. Danaysis and Roberto are excellent hosts, available to provide information and answer questions anytime of the day or night. We arrived after a long day of travel to a bottle of wine in the fridge, which was so lovely. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Nothing.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good - The location was fabulous and well appointed. We had a great space for our family holiday!
- Maedbh (10/5): Great location for a trip to central Rome - Central to the Spanish Steps and a great space for a family travelling with teenagers
- Pixie (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were fantastic. They were enthusiastic and very helpful. They responded immediately to any questions or needs that we had. We liked everything
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication from host! In the heart of Rome and very spacious. Perfect for our toddler
- Khilna (8/5): Very good - We were three, each using a separate bed: one in the main bedroom, another on the sofa bed in the living room, and the third on the sofa bed in the kitchen/dining area. If privacy and personal space are essential, this setup might not be ideal. However, the main bedroom was charming and would be perfect for a couple.
The location was fantastic, and the host thoughtfully provided us with bottled water and a bottle of champagne, which was a nice touch. We noticed the toilet had a weak flush and informed the host, who promptly fixed it the following day. Since we were exhausted upon arrival, I requested the host collect the city tax the next day, and they kindly accommodated this request. We stayed for four nights, and overall, it offered good value, especially for a longer trip. Dana was just so wonderful, very responsive, and well-intentioned. She also arranged a taxi for us to the train station.
Don't miss dinner at "That's Amore." Fills up quickly so best to make a reservation. One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is on the third floor, requiring three flights of stairs. If you pack light, it’s manageable. But the steps can get tiring if you go in and out frequently, as we did.
In terms of cooling, the apartment had a fixed AC in the main bedroom, a portable AC in the kitchen, and a fan in the living room. The portable AC in the kitchen wasn’t very convenient as it needed to be placed near a window so the hose could be secured, this meant the window had to stay slightly open. During our stay, it was very hot, so a more effective cooling solution would have been appreciated, but given the value of the apartment, we understand that installing additional AC units may not be feasible.
There was a Nespresso machine, but no pods, though we appreciated having instant coffee and tea bags available. Before our arrival, the host sent helpful videos showing how to use the washing machine, access the key from the lockbox, and more. However, attention to cleanliness and preparation seemed lacking. The sofa bed in the kitchen/dining area, while made up, didn’t feel fresh—the sheets had a used smell.
Unfortunately, my sister and I woke up with bites on our faces after using the two sofa beds, and I also developed itchy, watery eyes. (It’s worth mentioning my sister used her own sheets on top of the made-up bed.) I shared photos of the bites with the host upon checkout, and she apologized. My eye irritation progressed into a rash at the corners of my eyes by evening, but I was able to get treatment at a local pharmacy. I was hesitant to mention this issue here, but I believe it’s important feedback to encourage better oversight of the cleaning process which I am certain they have become attentive to. I would also like to add the host also offered a discount for us if we returned or our friends. That, I feel, was responsive and kind.
- Heidi (9/5): Superb - Perfect location for seeing everything! Main bed was comfortable. Owner was bery helpful ordering transfers and chcexjing in to see everything was ok and if we needed anything. Furniture besides the bed was not the most comfortable but we were rarley there so not a big issue.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, owner are very friendly, highly recommended!
- Dmitrii (8/5): Nice apartment, also for a group of people, who wake up before 08:00 - 1.Location: it is in the center, metro stop Barberini, on the other side of the street there is a small supermarket.
2.Air conditioning: in the bedroom there is a wall-based strong-enough air-conditioner, in the kitchen there is a floor-based air-conditioner, in the living room there is a ventilator/fan.
3.Communication with the host was fast with clear instructions how to check-in & how to find the apartment, but NOT via booking.com. The full communication is done via WHATSAPP.
4.Self check-in/check-out: very convenient without a need to meet someone.
5.Wi-fi worked OK, except for the bathroom, but I didn’t need it there. 1.Apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. For me was not a problem, writing here just for other guests to have tge full picture.
2.In general, the apartment is quiet, of course in the bedroom u can hear a bit the street noises, but not critical. HOWEVER, also the apartment on the 4th floor is given for a rent. And in my case I wanted to sleep till 11:00, but the neighbors on the 4th floor started to do a vacuum-cleaning & moving stuff at 08:20. Due to the fact that the building is very old with wooden floors, I could here clearly & loundly every single move of the vacuum cleaner and eventually could sleep. So, if u prefer to stay longer in bed, it is not the apartment to choose.
- Vinny (7/5): Excellent location , amazing hosts ( such an amazing couple ) , clean apartment. - Exactly as shared in the description; very neat and clean ; great interiors ; super spacious.
Amazing amenities and comfortable for a family of 4-5. Italy weather is hell in July ( super hot and humid ) and even though there were 2 ACs ; one in each room , it felt like the rooms needed even more efficient Air conditioning. We spent close to 900 US dollars for three days there and would have appreciated an effective AC system.
- Ashraf (10/5): Wonderful location, compfortable apartment and great host. - Location, hosts, space and comfort No elevator, unfortunately, because the building the building is traditional in the heart of the city center.
- Suzanne (7/5): Perfect location to explore the wonderful city of Rome - Fantastic location Apartment very spacious and so much character, beautiful comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities, great shower. Air conditioning kept breaking down/leaking.
Electrics kept tripping off when we tried to use the oven, kettle and A/C at the same time.
Curtains in bedroom a bit thin so bright sunshine very early in the morning albeit lovely was a bit annoying.
Host tried to sort the A/C but couldn’t.
- Jaci (10/5): Perfect spot to enjoy Rome - I really like how they met us at the property and walked us through the apartment and made sure we knew how to open the door and work everything. It was all great
- Xin (9/5): Superb -
- Dana (10/5): Totally recommend! - The apartment is huge and very clean. It is recently renovated and looks very fancy. Some old reviews mentioned that the curtains were not thick enough and let the light in. Well, the owners fixed that and installed dark window shutters that you can keep open and close. The owner is very nice and responsive. The location is amazing, close to most sightseeing. We walked everywhere! Many restaurants are right downstairs.
- Eddie (8/5): Very good -
- Silvia (9/5): Lovely apartment! When in Rome, it's a great choice! - The apartment is great, big, almost like having your own house in Rome! Excellent location, in a safe street, we walked everywhere. Dana was always in communication with us, provided detailed instructions to enter the apartment and even left us a gift during Easter which we loved, and help us arrange a taxi to the airport at 3AM. When in Rome, this is a great apartment to stay! Thank you Dana and Roberto for a lovely stay!
- Widd (10/5): Great place to explore from - We loved the location, the apartment had everything we needed and spacious. Roberta and Dana really helpful and very quick to respond. The bed sooo comfortable, a good size sofa bed also if needed. Eggs milk etc kindly provided and our hosts brought breakfast when they came to collect tourist tax and provide fresh towels. They kindly arranged transfers which worked out perfect for us and we were really able to enjoy our last day. I would have no hesitation booking this or another of their properties. A tip is to turn left at the door and left again top of street up the slope takes you to top of Spanish steps keep walking and borghese gardens with fabulous views over Rome, keep going view of piazza del popolo without the steps. Be aware there are 54 steps to the third floor. We were hand luggage so no problem. Big windows and light curtains so take eye mask like we did if you need darkness. Only small things more to be aware of.
- Wei (9/5): A beautiful stay in the historic center of Rome - I love the location of the apt, so very central! It’s a fairly large size and thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable for a two-week stay. What I love the most is Roberto who manages the apt. He’s extremely helpful, warm and kind. On day of departure which happens to be Xmas Eve he arrived with a panettone ( a traditional holiday cake) and a bottle of dessert wine as a send-off. So very generous and kind! I would definitely stay here again in the future. Nothing
- John (4/5): Disappointing - Great location. The ceiling was leaking water during a rain storm. Water was flowing from the ceiling lighting. The couch and carpet were soaked. I was up at night mopping up water, emptying buckets and pans of rain water. The owner didn't call me after I told his assistant. I asked for a 300€ refund and received 93€. When taking a five-minute shower I had to refresh the boiler 3x because the boiler would stop producing hot water. My wife got caught with shampoo in her hair without any hot water. I had to keep refreshing the boiler so she would have hot water. The water was hot, cold, cold, hot, cold, hot, cold, cold. You get my point. Also, the unit doesn't have an elevator. You have to carry your luggage up several steep stairs. The lighting in the hallway and stairs is minimal. I would not recommend this property. This property is substandard.
- Iván (8/5): Very good - Perfect location, close to all famous Rome attractions, also lost of nice cafe's and restaurants around the area! Note that the street is really noisy, and not only during working ours!
- Larry (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts were terrific. The location was incredible.
- Ilda (9/5): Superb -
- Ty (9/5): Great location…wonderful hosts! - The location was ideal for walking to most of the major sights in Rome including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens, Piazza Navona and (at a stretch) the Colosseum. The Vatican and it’s museums are only a short bus ride away. Plenty of quality dining options are literally at your doorstep. A well stocked mini supermarket is located across the street. Apartment was spacious and had all of the amenities necessary for a long stay. The hosts Dana and Roberto were exceptional. Their communication was excellent and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and trouble free, even arranging our transport to the airport via a reasonably priced and very professional driver, Dimitri. While not an issue for us, as we tend to wake early anyway, there is some early morning street noise with garbage collectors and delivery vehicles for local businesses in the street. This may be a concern for some but it is characteristic of living in a major city.
- Thossaporn (9/5): Superb - Location and staff No lift
- Tracey (9/5): Rome, cant wait to return! - Robert was an excellent host, very attentive and kind, he made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the apartment was great and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was spacious and had plenty of room, and the beds were comfortable. We did not cook, however you could if you wanted to. We enjoyed the view from the windows, looking down upon the shops. We shopped at the market across the street and frequented the cafes and coffee shops. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend!
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): A great 5 night stay in a lovely apartment in a very nice area of Rome. - Such a comfortable apartment in a very nice area of Rome. Dana and Roberta were delightful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Felt like a very safe neighbourhood which was important to us. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we would book
again if we re-visited Rome A little noisy at night due to deliveries to restaurants and shops below the apartment but this didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the apartment
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Predrag (10/5): Hosts were excellent, apartment is comfortable, location is perfect for couples. - Apartment is well equipped. Location is excellent. Bed is comfortable. Early morning noise from the street. Windows should be better.
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matti (10/5): Excellent! - Excellent location! Everything in walking distance. Good facilities, petfect market in the oposite side of the street. Dana helped very quickly in all our questions. Just perfect place! Thank You Robert, see You again... For us not a problem, but good to know. Apartment is in the fourth floor and there is no elevator available.
- Rodney (9/5): Superb -
- Charbel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ana (10/5): Wonderful!! Will return! - Robert, the host, was exceptional: friendly, warm, very enthusiastic. He welcomed us to Rome as if we were family. Upon entering the apartment, he showed us around, and gave us tons of tips for getting around Rome, circled important areas on a map and sent us food recommendations. The Apartment location is fabulous - full stop. It is located a 2 min walk from La Rinascente and a 3 min walk in the opposite direction to Piazza Spagna, Spanish Steps and all the designer shopping you could imagine. We spent a few evenings sitting on the steps people-watching. It was fantastic. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. We were 2 adults/one child, and a few days had to connect remotely to work. The apartment comfortably accommodated one adult working in the kitchen and the other in the bedroom, while the child watched TV in the living room. There is a washer machine - BONUS!
Rome in July is HOT - the apartment has AC in the bedroom and a fan that can be moved between other living areas. Be aware of temps if travelling in the summer. The apartment is on the 3rd level with no elevators. Something to consider for some guests.
