The location was also perfect for exploring the city. A special thank you to Roberto, who was always kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. He made everything smooth and stress-free for us. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome. We would gladly stay again!

• Leonid (1/5): - We had a very disappointing stay at this apartment in Rome. • The floors were extremely dirty — after just 10 minutes of walking barefoot, our feet turned black, with dust balls everywhere. • The toilet seat was smaller than the bowl, making it uncomfortable to use. • The shower and sink faucets leaked and sprayed water all over the floor. The shower also had black and yellow mold in the crevices, and the water temperature kept changing every minute, making it nearly impossible to shower properly. • There were no comforters, only old and worn-out blankets. Towels were yellowed and smelled strongly of fabric softener, which made us nauseous. • The kitchen had no basics at all (not even paper towels or sugar), and the cups were scratched and old. • Window shutters were stuck and could not be opened, and with only two weak light bulbs in each large room, the whole apartment was very dark. • The decoration felt cheap and poorly put together. The only positive was that the mattresses were comfortable, but even then, the sheets were cheap polyester. Overall, this place was far below expectations and not maintained properly. Definitely not recommended.

• Susan (10/5): Spacious 2 bedroom apartment in perfect proximity to train station - This is a very lovely apartment with a beautifully renovated bathroom, full kitchen and big bedrooms. Loved being able to open windows to see out onto the street. Very convenient to central station - literally a 10 minute easy walk to catch our early morning train. Lovely restaurants nearby. Our host kept in touch from start to finish to ensure we had access code etc.

L’immeuble a un ascenseur pour accéder au 3eme étage. L’appartement était très propre. Il est bien équipé. Les chambres sont très grandes et la literie est de qualité. Nous avons pu accéder à l’appartement facilement et notre hôte a été très disponible. Le petit salon composé seulement d’un canapé à l’entrée de la cuisine.

Vele restaurants in de buurt en op 10 min wandelen van hoofdstation Termini waar heel veel winkels zijn en ook een supermarkt die groter is dan de gemiddelde in het oude centrum van Rome. De douche viel een beetje tegen. De handsproeier kan je niet vastzetten en de cabine is tamelijk klein.

• Katherine (10/5): Great apartment, great location, great host! - The property was fabulous! It was well equipped, comfortable, clean, modern and spacious. Great communication from the host, Roberto. He was very quick to respond to any questions and super helpful. Perfectly located and easy walking distance from the Spanish steps, the colosseum and the Trevi fountain. There are lots of nice places to eat very close by and only a 10 minute walk to the central station making it easily accessible from the airport. We travelled with my two teenage grandsons and even they couldn’t find any faults! We would definitely stay here again!

The location is the best in Rome with a market every day and a bakery that we could get some cheap and healthy food. We had a wonderful stay in the Appartement and highly recommend it. Some small details could be improved, like the shower that needs some fixing, and some additional cook utensils would be great.

• Tina (9/5): A lovely, spacious apartment! - The apartment was very spacious with everything you need. Reading the reviews, I did expect it to be a little more central but it wasn't a problem. It is close to the station and has a few nice restaurants nearby. We did have a little trouble getting into the apartment upon arrival as was given the code to get into the apartment but was told to phone or whatsapp the host once outside the main door and he would come and let us in but although we did, there was no answer to either the text or the phone call. Thankfully neighbours within the block came home from a night out so we were able to get inside the block and then enter the apartment via the code. Am not sure what we would have done if no one happened to come by! Having said this, the host was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage later than the check out time. Not being able to get inside upon arrival!

• Nadine (8/5): If I had to stay again I would absolutely stay at Well done Montebello. The negatives did not outweigh the positives for - Location was excellent. Walking distance to many things including supermarket, restaurants, laundromat and the Termini Station Outdoor work caused violent shaking of the beds and closets throughout the night, making sleep nearly impossible. The beds were also not very comfortable and after 2 nights they started sinking in the middle.

• Carly (10/5): Great Find - Property is in a great location with lots nearby. Really spacious and good air conditioning. Host was lovely and good at communicating. Only minor issue is shower head needs fixing in stand alone shower so it stays up.

The host was very prompt and courteous.The location was about a 10-15 min walk from Termini station (or you can take a bus and it is about a minutes walk from the nearest bus station). The bathroom was big and clean. No washing machine available. Also they don't have a facility to store luggage after checkout, instead they will direct you to third party vendors (near termini) to store luggage. If you are traveling with kids and have a lot of luggage, that is a sticky situation to be in. We were flying out of Rome in the evening and this option was not possible/very inconvenient for us, hence we had to checkout a day earlier and book ourselves in a nearby hotel instead (part of the reason we booked this apartment was- washing machine and luggage storage- both of which were unavailable).

• Christine (10/5): Very pleasant stay. - The property was about 5-7mins walk from Roma Termini station. Quite a few places to eat and shop around the area as well. It was clean and had all the basic utensils you need for the kitchen which was important to us, since we cooked our dinners. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and the couch can be turned into a bed. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. On our last day, the owner even let us stay a little longer since our flight was in the evening. So I definitely recommend the place. No complaints

Good size rooms, clean and tidy. Very modern feel to the apartment. The apartment wasn't ready (cleaner) when we arrived (after the stated check-in time) but the host gave us access to drop our luggage, which was very convenient. Also when we departed he was flexible and allowed us luggage store and a later check out- this really helped. We couldn't get the washing machine to work and the host tried to help us with this, but the repair couldn't be done during our stay.

The cooling was extremely loud when turned on, the sink plug was stuck, doors didn’t close properly which meant we heard renovations from 8am each morning, the floor vibrated and also made the wardrobes vibrate and the lift was extremely slow. We also tried to contact the host during the times agreed however we had to wait for him to answer the phone, messages and texts left multiple times to gain access. this was after travelling 49 hours with my young daughter. Poor service given and there was a lack of compassion given. No excuse to not answer his phone. Very disappointing and would not recommend to anyone!

• Anonymous (6/5): Convenient location to sights. Spacious unit for central Rome. - Two separate bedrooms, kitchen area. Elevator. The shower head would not stay fixed. It slid down and fell off multiple times. The power went out multiple times. Once while we operated the laundry and our clothes were locked in wet. Their were no instructions for the laundry machine and the host said to find them online. It was difficult to find English instructions for that model online. The patio door latch would not close securely. I worried about security.
• Susan (8/5): Other than the arrival and waiting in the rain, the stay was good. - There was no breakfast provided even though it states breakfast included. No coffee, creamer, or sugar available. ( Would have been appreciated after traveling long distance) Had to phone the owner upon arrival to have the door unlocked. Unfortunately it was pouring down rain when we arrived and we had to wait 15 minutes in the rain until the owner answered the phone after multiple attempts to reach him. The cleaning person was still in the apartment cleaning when we arrived, despite notifying the owner of our arrival time and arriving 1 hour later due to the rain. Sink in bathroom did not work and drained onto the floor. (Notified owner)

The kitchen has a balcony where we could smoke, it was very quiet and nice atmosphere. The air conditionate in the rooms was the only thing that could have been better, it was really chilly in the bedrooms even though the AC was working, but i am sure that in the summer nobody will need that AC working on heat, so it’s fine.
• Tereza (7/5): Spacious clean appartment in good location, but with very uncomfy bed. - The appartment is very spacious and clean, kitchen was well equipped. It is in a good location close to Termini station. The mattress in one of the rooms was really bad, it didn’t hold the shape and we were rolling down into the middle of the bed. My back was hurting from it every morning. Also I didn’t like that the owner was asking me in a pushy way to give positive review here even though I share the complaints about the bed with him.
• Wadim (9/5): Hervorragend. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen - First of all I would like to thank the host. The check-in and all the processes before that were quick and smooth. The flat is close to the train station, which is very very useful if you are going to the airport after the check out. The house has a lift, which is a huge plus after Naples :) the rooms are large and bright. The bathroom is generally my personal favourite ! Everything we needed was in the flat, towels, coffee maker, dishwasher. Unfortunately we couldn't find the tabs for the machine, hopefully that wasn't a problem. The street is quiet, nothing to disturb the sleep.The only thing was that the bed was uncomfortable, rolling in the middle, but even that didn't affect the impression of the flat. The bed in the second room was ok. And a special thank you for allowing us to check out later. That is very human. Thank you! nothing to add

• Simon (9/5): Great apartment, comfortable clean and roomy near Termini station. - Roomy comfortable and clean with everything you need in and apartment. very comfortable beds convenient location for Termini station. the contactless checkin via WhatsApp to host was a bit clunky and stressful. waiting for responses. requests to provide credit card over WhatsApp is unacceptable. however host was responsive friendly and flexible to call me direct instead. as long as you have your phone and comms working that’s fine, but if you had just arrived and there was no roaming you could be a bit stuck. The small elevator key is in the room, so when you first arrive with your luggage you have to lug it up 3 floors of stairs or leave it at entrance before you get your key.

• Reviews (4/5): Under done not Well done - The location was fantastic close to rome termini, we stayed for 3 weeks so we know the property/neighbourhood very well. we had lots of travel planned and thats why we booked this apartment. the host is a hospitality professional so we expected high standards, we had asked that all be clean and working but the host was very hard to contact and was not responsive. slow to answer emails, no details provided , on arrival he could not be bothered to meet us for a 22 night stay, we had phone trouble and sim card trouble on arrival but the owner opened the door to the building remotely and gave passcode to get inside. not great service, old building as standard in rome, dirty street and very very noisy also like most. the neighbourhood is a mix of filipino, african and peruvian, they have all night bars across the road and restaurants and drink and yell all night very night yes all night every night, they go to bed when you get up for the day. we slept with ear plugs most nights. We were promised in writing that the apartment would be cleaned once a week but this happened only once, it is not the guests job to keep asking for things to be done ,we are on holidays and trying to enjoy ourselves and should be able to trust the owner, very disapointing. The space was great , huge apartment looks just like the photos however lots of issues all previously mentioned and not fixed or corrected. Even though there is 2 bedrooms we would say the apartment is only good for one couple, great to have space for luggage and purchases. The wifi was good, and the bath useful. lots of towels/linen we changed our own sheets, washing machine was great but no instructions. lots of hot water, useful space in lounge dining but only for 2 people no space for larger groups . cramped in the living areas. fridge/freezer good, bad smell from shower plumbing. We DID have a mobile phone and spoke to the owner one week into our stay when the power failed. no kitchen utensils at all, i mean nothing no tea towels, spoons, can opener , anything other than basic old cutlery, the kettle needs to be replaced as does the saucepans terrible and scratched, no toaster. hard to believe kitchen is offered , coffee machine and micro all ok thats it the rest needs to be replaced. there is no balcony its an area off the kitchen looking into an ugly internal space for air con units/ cleaning equip not for sitting and enjoying, there is NO panoramic views, beds are hard, pillows lumpy need to be replaced , toilet seat loose, if you use the kettle and one other appliance the power will trip as other people mentioned many times, fix it or advise guests what to do when it all goes off. what is the problem with not fixing the toilet seat, would the host like this if he came to our countries? the aircon units do not work well one small unit services all rooms and this needs servicing it does not provide comfort. there may be 3 tv's but they are all weird and work differently other guests had left streaming services on them which was lucky for us but someone needs to check them all and sort them out. buy a clothes rack for your guests. iron but no ironing board, no feeling of being in rome decor childlike. never contacted to see how we are especially after losing power at 4am, host sent youtube clip as opposed to helping, we advised we were away for the day and host attended but not happilly. sent a message asking us when we were leaving even though we had paid and confirmed, host told us to give him a rating of 10. Bakery on the corner excellent, lots of crime in the area watch the youtube clips to prepare.no satellite tv channels unless on youtube , no oven, no bathrobes as advised on list of amenities. no info to tell what to do with rubbish or in an emergency. stained mugs, still cant believe the kitchen was in such a bad state even the cleaners would notice all of these issues. no dryer , heated towel rails not working.

My tip for anyone staying is walk to first floor when you arrive and get the lift from there, as the lift is locked on the ground floor. You will get the key once you get into the apartment to use after this :) I appreciated the host messaging us after we arrived to ask if we were okay. 5 minute walk from Termini station. There was no toilet roll or toilet seat. Would have preferred a lock box to collect the keys(for lift) rather than dragging suitcases up 3 floors.

• Twisha (9/5): Great apartment in the heart of Roma - The apartment is spacious and well maintained. The rooms are big and comfortable. The bathroom is huuuge and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything one could ask for. The owner was very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. He even accommodated our early check-in request. We had a pretty hassle free stay there. There weren't any shower products provided. Although we had brought ours, so it wasn't much of a problem.
