Guest Reviews
- Camilo (7/5): -
- Karolina (8/5): - Fantastic location. Right in the city center but at the same time peaceful and quiet. The bathroom would benefit from some renovation.
- László (9/5): -
- Florakos (9/5): Would choose it again - Location is great. The room even though a little tired was very clean and all appliances worked. Hot water 24h a day. Beds good too. Host was great to all our questions and requests. Walking up to the 4th floor was a little bit challenging in the beggining, but manageable after the first couple of days.
- Marina (10/5): - Location is perfect, everything you need to see in Rome is within walking distance. Gelato in front of the building. Good instructions how to get into the apartment, Michael is very responsive and kind, huge recommendation for this place! No elevator is also a good training if you look at it like that :)
- Karthik (8/5): Great location. Many things to explore close by. Great hosts. - The apartment is conveniently located at a walking distance to all the eateries and stores. There is bus and tram line right in front of the property which is great for transportation. The hosts are very helpful and communicative. The checkin process is easy and smooth. The room is slightly old but has all the features that you expect. The bathroom is on the smaller side but functional. The apartment doesn’t have a lift. So if you have big suitcases then you will have tough time lugging it up to almost 5 stories.
- Michael (8/5): - Great location, easy access to buses and many landmarks easily walkable. Also, lots of food options nearby (including supermarkets).
- Giani (9/5): -
- William (9/5): Enjoyable stay. - Not big but very functional for 3 of us. Beds hard
- Cook (9/5): The Loft apartment was spacious, and comfortable. Communication with the owner was immediate, and he went out of his way - Location is amazing, a short walk or bike ride to all of the main tourist attraction and restaurant areas. The four flights of stairs were a bit of a mission, but that was mainly because it was after a whole day of exploring!
- Mešić (6/5): -
- Donna (8/5): - The location was great, close to a lot of sites and restaurants with a lovely piazza nearby. All in all a lovely place to stay. The room could have been cleaned better. The floor was dirty and you couldn't walk around inside without shoes on as hairs and fluff and dirt stuck to your feet

- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michał (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, simple and cozy apartment. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (even a washing machine was there). Warm water 24h. The location is perfect, the most important sights in Rome are within a walking distance. Close there are also bus stops from which you may easily get to other parts of the town. There is a number of cafes and restaurants around, where one may take breakfast and lunch. A Carrefour supermarket is something like 300 m. The host is very friendly and helpful. He speaks English well and replies promptly. The price was very reasonable. Recommend. The apartment is in the 4th level. For us it was perfectly fine, but may be inconvenient for some elderly people, families with small kids or those who travel with a lot of stuff. Although the apartment faces a small, narrow street, it was a bit noisy outside on Sat. night.
- David (9/5): Superb - Roomy, washer, drying rack, room dividers, large refrigerator, table, large window shelve. Location was good for a lot of our planned tourist sites. Host very helpful. Very nice apartment.
- O'connor (9/5): Great location in Rome - The location was great - a short walk across the river to Trastevere and along the road opposite to Camp de Fiori.
Facilities were good and there was a washing machine which was handy. We certainly increased our fitness by walking up and down the stairs! Michele had amicable communication with us and we were able to find the lockbox for the key. Thank you! Everything was suitable, thanks.
- Patricija (9/5): Really enjoyed it, would book again. - The location was amazing and the apartment looked good. The host was helpful and gave precise directions on how to get in etc. Even though it is a studio, it was very nice that it had sliding doors that can separate the space in smaller units.
Arriving I truly felt like I was in Italy. Some parts were a little dusty but wasn’t a big issue. The shower head had a little bit of plaque build up, so the water streams when in multiple directions, but an easy fix. Would have enjoyed an extra roll of toilet paper.
- Monica (9/5): Fantastic inner city property close to Pantheon - Location was perfect and close to key sights, bus and a market. Plenty of space for a multi day stay. Owner was very responsive to our questions and helped with transport to the airport.
- Normann (9/5): Great small apartment in the center of Rome. Highly recommendable - Great small apartment in the CENTER of Rome, we never used a taxi or bus, just walked to everything.
The aparment - there is a carefour just in front (after the park) and a great recommendable restarant (Come na vorta) 200 meters towards centre. Missed a brush for doing the dishes!! Only one sheet as cover.
- Zoi (9/5): Superb - Great apartment (we are a family of 4 - 2 kids of 5 years old). Very practical spot to move around and see things in the city, supermarket very nearby, great gelateria just next to the building. Has pretty much everything you need to stay for some days. And the host really helpful with all the communication we had, and he even kept our luggage in his shop for some hours to help us enjoy our last day without having to drag our suitcases around after the check out. Too much noise out in the street during night.
- Carolina (8/5): Great place to stay an visit Rome, it has at walking distance a lot of attractions. An Michele was a splendid host with - Location was great and the apartment was well equipped There’s a long way upstairs
- Chaya (9/5): Great Stay in Rome - The place was very comfortable and clean with good air conditioning and wifi, it is in a great location and the host was very helpful. It is a 6 flight walkup with no elevator. (But I still enjoyed the accommodations)
- Hyun (8/5): Staff are kind . - Excellent location!!! No elevator! Old folks like me do need elevator!
Shower room is small!
- Carter (8/5): Very good -
- Honcharenko (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect!
The owner of the apartment is very friendly and kind. Available anytime.
A heater was provided, which was very important since we were visiting Rome in winter. A little bit high for family with kids
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Location, Nothing.
- Dana (9/5): Superb - Beautiful apartment, washing machine, the AC was great No use if the elevator was a bummer
- Jorn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rina (2/5): Camping style - Friendly owner, aircon, washing machine, bed linen was clean. If you like a camping type of style, fine. If you are not the camping type, it will not be great for you to stay here:
Almost everything is old and quite tattered.
The stove gas knob is gone, so can't work.
The bottom of the (very small, old) kettle is out, only concrete, not safe to use.
The one shower glass has been replaced with a plastic curtain.
The 3 mugs are old and there are very few crockery.
The pots and pans are very old and very used.
The microwave is old but working.
The 3rd bed is only a camping structure, so expect bad sleeping. All the pillows are old.
Old TV, very feint image.
No plug for kitchen sink, no dishwashing liquid or dish cloth, so can't wash dishes.
No hand wash soap, shampoo, etc in bathroom. The owner was very friendly when we reported the no soap, he had a big bottle delivered next morning.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here if you want a nice, clean place and not feel like you're camping with someone else's old stuff.
Sorry to say, but not even worth half the fee charged.
- Nelson (10/5): Excellent time - The location was excellent, the apartment was small but perfect for our needs. Our host was awesome, very welcoming and great restaurant recommendation!
- Dusan (10/5): Great experience - Excellent host, great location, great amenities.
- Breda (9/5): Would definitely return to this apartment. Lots of local eating places—access to buses. - Location was excellent.
Host could not be more helpful.
Lots of current information leaflets and various books available in English and Italian. Starter pack with washing up liquid and tea towel perhaps.
Otherwise faultless.
- David (10/5): 3 nights in Rome - Great location, able to walk everywhere. Apartment was well looked after and equipped with all we needed. Communication with Michele was fast, frequent and effective.
- Michell (10/5): Exceptional - The host gives an excellent service, the department is beautiful and really well equiped.
Excelent!
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Elisabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Great little place in the heart of Rome The room is not soundproofed. Please remove this description.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Codrin (10/5): Great place, central and well equipped - Very nice host, great accomodation equipped with everything you may need
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The location is fantastic, the owner is very kind.
- Dorothea (10/5): Exceptional - On my arrival I had a bit of a situation going on… but host Michele took care of it and solved the problem the best way possible. He did a great job :)
Additionally to this little rescue mission :) he was always available, very helpful, and super nice prior to and during our stay. The perfect host :)
Speaking of perfect:
The apartment was great. For two people it was very spacious and there is everything in there that you might need for a citybreak. The location is also very good, all the sights, shops, restaurants in walking distance. Wifi was working all the time without any problems.
Altogether a great experience
- Sue (10/5): Perfect apartment, location, host…. everything! - Michele is a wonderful host. He met us at the apartment and was very thorough in showing us everything in the apartment. He was also quick to communicate if I had a question.
The apartment has a comfortable firm bed, instant hot water in the shower with wonderful water pressure… is private, secure, and quiet for sleeping… plus all the amenities you need for a short stay.
The location is perfect to walk to almost every tourist attraction! we loved our stay in Rome and are so pleased to have rented Michele’s flat!
highly recommend!
- Urbanec (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, facilities in the apartment. 5th floor and no access to elevator.
- Giada (9/5): Superb -
- Shady (10/5): Best appartment on my holidays - Michele was an amazing host. He was always available to give you some insider tips and recomend on where to go. The location itself was perfect. Right in the center of all must see monuments in Roma. Everything was walkable on foot, and there was also a busline infront of the appartment. When you stepped out of the (wonderfull 17th century) appartment you were immediatly in the historic city center.
When I get back to Rome, I will definitely come back here again.
- Elyssa (10/5): Michele was a fantastic host, going above and beyond. - Loved the layout. Being able to close or open the rooms was very helpful with kids.
- Margita (10/5): Absolute Gem - This apartment is an absolute gem. Suited our needs 100%. Strategic location, beautiful building, well equiped and authentic apartment, kind and helpful host. There was literally everything we need and use. Cannot thank enough and definitely recommend! It was not an issue for my family but some travelers might find challenging getting up the stairs (upper floor, no elevator).
