Guest Reviews
- Lisa (9/5): Great location on quiet street in charming Monti neighborhood. - Great location in the charming neighborhood of Rione Monti. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Street was quiet which made it easy to sleep. Fold out couch bed was uncomfortable, mattress sagged in the middle.
- PHILIPPE (7/5): Fantastique location but requires improvements. - The location of the apartment is fantastic.
The mattress in the main bed is comfortable.
The courtyard terrace is very nice.
Superb ideal location. Very central everything is feasible on foot.
The street is very quiet while being close to the streets with lots of restaurants and bars. We were a little disappointed by his condition. It would require a refresh. The photos on Booking.com are more beautiful than reality. In addition, small things like a few machine-compatible coffee capsules for the first morning and a simple bottle of water would have been appreciated. The bathroom is in medium condition. It can be noted that the temperature of the shower is difficult to adjust and there is no hand shower.
Finally, the sofa bed is, I think, barely usable. He is completely screwed (I briefly tried to take a nap there, but we fall in the middle of the bed).
However, the new owner has taken the comments into account and should make improvements
- Lynn (10/5): Loved it, great location, host was fantastic, totally recommend - Amazing location, in walking distance of all main attractions. Lots of bars, restaurants close by. Apartment was lovely,Bed was very comfortable had everything you would need like fridge, microwave, air conditioning etc and also plenty of towels for our stay. Lovely balcony to sit back and relax. The host Giuliano was fantastic. Very kindly meet us to let us in and show everything even though we arrived late at night. Also gave us some local restaurants to go too. Would 100% recommend this property and would definitely love to revisit Rome and stay there again. Nothing everything was great
- Kirkham (10/5): Exceptional - It was close to everything we wanted to see. It was the perfect amount of space for the two of us.
- Nirith (9/5): Would definitely recommend this place! - The apartment is located in a superb location, extremely central yet quiet street with laid back vibe. Feels super safe for a solo traveler.
Giuliano was super attentive, responded quickly to every question and need, was very helpful. Could be slightly more clean although all in all was ok and felt comfy.
- Genelle (8/5): Very good - Good location - comfy bed - very responsive and friendly host. Shower head was a little wonky, but it worked. No real issues.
- Claudio (6/5): Monti is a great location to visit Rome - Great location Amneties
- Gulnara (8/5): Very good -
- Almattar (8/5): Very good - Good location, wide appartment, easy check in. No bathroom accessories (Soap etc,,)
No gas in the cook
The kitchen accessories wasnt clean, especially the cattle.
- Orla (9/5): Location, location, location - Guiliano was a fantastic host and answered any queries within minutes. The location of the property was perfect, walking distance to everything and a metro nearby for tired feet! While the street was quiet, there were lively bars and restaurants nearby with good priced food and drink available. The apartment was a little dark as we couldn't open the balcony doors from the bedroom. To be fair, we didn't ask Guiliano about it so he could well have solved this for us if we had asked.
- Toni (10/5): Lovely apartment perfect location amazing host - Amazing apartment would high recommend
- Molly (10/5): we cooked and laughed and made great memories!! - close to everything!! great host! nothing
- K (8/5): Very good -
- Gerrit (9/5): Thumbs up! - Giuliano is super friendly and fully understands what hospitality means. We were welcomed by him to get the keys, and had two bottles of wine waiting for us. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable (nothing sucks more than not sleeping well when you're on vacation). The kitchen has all appliances and tools for cooking and the balcony facing away from the street is a cozy and relaxing place to eat. The apartment is in a bubbly part of Rome, full of great bars and restaurants but the apartment itself is in a quiet street. A supermarket and post office are also very close by. The city center is 15-20 minutes away by walking but for the lazy ones there is a subway station just around the corner which takes you to the Trevi fountain, Spanish Stairs etc. in just a few minutes. A coffee table in the living room would be a nice addition.
- Stephanie (9/5): best location, clean - apartment was clean and cozy and perfect size for a family of 3. We felt extremely comfortable and safe. We loved the decor and the terrace and the soundproof windows. Very quiet to sleep! the host left an iron, blow dryer and umbrella which was nice. The location in Monti neighborhood was ideal. tons of eateries, the best gelato flavors in Rome (fatamorgano around the block) and buzzing with visitors and lots of locals hanging in the day and in the evenings. Lovely coffee shop around the corner for the mornings.
We were able to walk to the Coliseum, Trevi fountain Spanish steps, Termini station, and a really nice market for some groceries called Elite. We only took a cab over 8 nights in Rome to the Vatican and the Trastavere neighborhood for dinner.
Best of all, Giuliano the host, was ALWAYS and quickly available for assistance and to answer any questions that we had.
Highly recommend !!
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is perfect in a perfect location. Giuliano is a very good host, warm and always ready to help. I hope to return to Rome and of course in the Chilling'Monti...🙂

- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing host and great location! - Host Giuliano is really amazing - he was really helpful from initial booking to check out and always responded immediately and positively to any messages/enquiries. The apartment had everything including a small balcony overlooking a courtyard and was in a great location in a quiet side street in a really vibrant area with plenty of cafes, shops and gelato places, just a short walk to Colosseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps, Palazzo Barberini (gallery) and really close to the Cavour metro (we didn’t need to use the metro because we could walk everywhere but useful if you need to make a longer trip - it is just 5 stops on one straight line to the Vatican). Lots of taxis around in the area. The area felt safe and was buzzing with tourists and locals by day and into the evening. So many food options! The bed was really comfy and shower hot with good pressure. Large fridge was useful and really the apartment was set up as someone might live in - everything from microwave to hairdryer to umbrella! Decor was cool and funky with lots of character unlike so many places. We highly recommend this apartment and host - he was the best host we have encountered in 3 months of travelling! Taxi to Roma Termini (train) was about €7 but it is only 1km so easy to walk if your bags are not too heavy. Taxi from Rome’s main bus station was €14. Taxi to Vatican about €15 if you don’t want to catch a train or walk.
- Billy (2/5): Terrible. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment. - Really great location. We traveled with 2 young kids and relied on 2 key things on our vacation: Comfy beds and hot showers. This place has neither.
1. We had no hot water or water pressure for 2 nights and literally had to strip wash from the sink :(.
2. The sofa "bed" for the kids could only be opened, but not closed. So you had nowhere to sit when it was not in use and it took up most of the tiny apartment space. In addition to that, the sofa bed was so old that it did not lay flat once opened, the mattress was literally bending up. In short, totally impractical and uncomfortable.
3. Blankets and towels are really old and don't smell great.....
4. We left the apartment after 2 nights of zero hot water (instead of the 4 nights we booked) and while the landlord took responsibility, he was not willing to refund. So we ended up paying for 2 accommodations.
Never had such a miserable experience with accommodation.
