Fortunatamente avevamo prenotato una sola not - La posizione L’aspetto sciatto e polverulento L’assenza di ospitalità per via dell’impossibilità di farsi un caffè ( macchina nespresso con calcare nella caldaia e assenza di cialde neppure una come benvenuto per tre ospiti). Salviette bidet assenti, nessun set di cortesia solo un flacone formato famiglia per la doccia

• Laura (8/5): The location is a big plus if you're not too pretentious - - The biggest plus of this accommodation is absolutely the location, especially with the long queues. Staying this close to a lot of main attractions, such as Basilica, Vatican and Sant Angelo made it easy to arrive early! Also the area is fairly nice, with walkable streets, stores, a piazza, good restaurants - also easy to arrive to colosseum and other sites because the apt is close to the subway - The owner was helpful with any question we had - The bed in the bedroom is very comfy - fairly quiet area, except for one neighbour who briefly yelled at 3 am - a bit cold for March and the air conditioning is extremely loud, we could not keep it on at night. The remote is a bit faulty, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. And it's one remote for all the ACs and they also need a bit of cleaning of the filter - a bit of adjustment or at least a warning with the boiler would be nice because 1. Even if the faucet is right down the middle or even towards the cold side, the water literally gives you a first degree burn. 2. The water is not enough for 4 people to shower in a row, you need a little break in between - cleaning could've been better - the sheets produce static electricity to the point where you see it in the dark - the lock system is a bit odd, at first we couldn't get in because of lack of signal, then sometimes it would open just by rotating, sometimes not at all

• Radosław (8/5): Lokalizacja była super. - Urządzone ładnie pokoje i lokalizacja apartamentu. Byliśmy w grudniu i było dość chłodno, ale były w każdym pokoju wstawione grzejniki elektryczne i można było podwyższyć temperaturę.
• Noelia (7/5): Correcto. - Un barrio excelente de Roma. Cuidado y tranquilo. Al lado del Vaticano y con bus para ir al centro de forma directa. Agua caliente muy escasa. No se puede alquilar un apartamento para 4/5 y tener un termo para 2.

• Nikolaos (7/5): - Το διαμέρισμα για χειμώνα δεν κάνει. Είχε κρύο, το μπάνιο δεν είχε καθόλου θέρμανση! Οι υπόλοιποι χώροι είχαν κάτι σαν αερόθερμο τοίχου σαν καλοριφέρ-θερμοπομπό που δεν απέδιδαν και επίσης έκαναν πολύ θόρυβο.

• Vulpe (10/5): Apartament frumos, locație excelentă. - Locația excelentă, la 5 min. de Vatican, în zona se află multe restaurante, cafenele, magazine. Stația de metrou la 5 minute. Apartamentul e liniștit. Totul a fost ok, mi-ar fi plăcut să fie plapuma (blanket) pt acoperit în loc de cuvertura.

• Alejandra (10/5): Ottimo soggiorno in appartamento ben posizionato, pulitissimo e accogliente. Esperienza da ripetere! - La posizione è ottima per visitare i musei vaticani, la comunicazione con la proprietaria è stata agevole e veloce. L'arredamento e tutti i dettagli dell' appartamento ci facevano sentire come a casa. Ho apprezzato il buon gusto nel mixare elementi di arredo moderni e classici, la luminosità dell'appartamento e il silenzio che giova il riposo. Mi è piaciuto anche trovare tè, caffè, zucchero, sale ed olio in cucina. C'erano dei bellissimi libri a disposizione che avrei tanto voluto leggere. Peccato che una notte non basti! Tutto ottimo

• PMP2790 (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in 5 a Casa Otto e ci siamo trovati benissimo. L’appartamento è moderno, accogliente e dotato di tutti i comfort: macchina del caffè, prodotti per l’igiene a disposizione e aria condizionata sia nella camera che nel soggiorno un vero plus durante l’estate! È situato in una posizione ideale, a pochi passi da San Pietro e dei Musei Vaticani e dalla fermata Ottaviano della metro linea A, che collega comodamente con il centro storico, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi e la Stazione Termini. Il check-in online è stato semplice e Valeria è stata sempre disponibile e attenta durante tutto il soggiorno, le sono veramente grata!. Terrò sicuramente in considerazione l'appartamento per le prossime visite a Roma! Nulla la dire!

• Ian (10/5): Great apartment in a great location. - Good area within walking distance of Vatican museums, shops and cafes. Not being able to leave the air conditioning on.

• Μπαμπησ (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean and the communication was fast. Very good location. The air conditioners in bedroom and in the hall were making a loud noise during the night that bothered us and we couldn't sleep well.

• Meszaros (6/5): Pleasant - The aircondition is so loud that not possible to use it at the evening. The bathroom was not clean, the shower has yellow stains, the shower size is so small even for a normal size person. There were spider net several places.

• Sylvie (9/5): Living in the Vatican - The apartment is located one street from the walls of the Vatican. Everything you want to visit in the Vatican can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The metro station is 5 minutes from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, nicely furnished, and clean. There is no washing machine or toys for children, but a cot was available. The host does not provide breakfast. You will receive the receipt only after check-out, even if payment is required before arrival.

I thought i wouldn’t care about a bad WiFi, but it was so bad that I did -The system to enter in the apartment is keyless and works with the phone. However you need to have signal… which you don’t have when you arrive in the building and don’t have access to the WiFi yet
• Federica (9/5): Superb stay! Highly recommended - Very clean and spacious, extremely well furnished and equipped, superb location. Valeria - the host - friendly and always happy to help. A very minor con it was probably the fact that there was no heating in the bathroom and it was a bit cold.

• Darko (8/5): Lovely apartment in an excellent location - Great location, by the Vatican City wall. There are shops and restaurants everywhere nearby. Metro and many bus stations are very near. The spacious apartment is in excellent condition, clean, comfortable and pleasant, with completely digitalised entrances and a new, functional heating system. The kitchen is equipped basic, without a dishwasher, but there is everything necessary. A reliable owner, Mrs Valeria, is very kind, helpful and friendly. Like in many old buildings, the elevator is unreliable. It would be nice to have more electrical outlets for devices charging, especially by the bed. A quilt on the bed, or even a classic blanket, would be a significant improvement.
• David (10/5): Amazing place to stay while in Rome - The apartment is large, comfortable, clean and in a great location, close to the Metro (Ottoviano) and the Vatican, St Peter's Basillica and many of Rome's wonderful attractions. The restaurants and food in the area are amazing, whichever street you walk down you are sure to find something whether morning or evening. If you prefer, there is a small kitchen with everything you require for cooking at home and a fridge freezer which we found useful to keep our water in and return to after one our our many adventures during the day and night. Myself and my daughter received clear and easy instructions to find and enter the apartment from our host Valeria and although we didn't need to, we would have had any help we needed from her without hesitation. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and my daughter has already asked when we can stay there again, we only left yesterday! Thank you very much Valeria. • Radostina (9/5): Great Location, easy check-in - Pros: - Spacious rooms and apartment - stylish vintage design furniture - great location - 2 min to Vatican museums, 4 min to Ottaviano metro station, lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets - super easy self check-in with good instructions given by the host Cons: -The bathroom sink drains too slowly - Double cover sheet on the bed, not 2 single (we were 2 people, but not couple so we needed "privacy" with the sheets while sleeping - Dust on the bathroom lamp - Tiny shower cabin - if you're a little bit taller, it would be difficult to take a normal shower - broken mosquito net in one of the rooms, thus mosquitos have bitten us during the night - very noisy neighbours after 10 p.m. - it was hard to fall asleep (it is good thing to bring earplugs with you). The funny thing was that the host had warned us to be quiet between 10p.m and 6a.m -we've never met the host in person, she didn't even answer my message that we arrived. She also wanted to send her my ID card (via message I guess) which is extremely not secure
• Rosa (8/5): Very good - The location, how ample the apartment is and above all, the fact that the owner is extremely helpful. It's a 4th floor in an old building and the lift seems to break easily. It was broken throughout our stay. The doors of the building and apartment open remotely with an app... we had an issue with this because it didn't work for us. Valeria had to help us with this.

• Clinton (10/5): Light and airy apartment with everything you need - Great location, a short walk from the Vatican but away from the insane tourist crowds. The apartment is exactly as advertised, very quiet, private, huge and has everything you need for a great stay. The building is very secure and there’s a very small lift up to the 4th floor. The metro/subway is close (though there were line works for part of our week stay), a great grocery store 7 mins walk, and a fresh pasta store at the bottom of the building (I made fresh pasta for lunch one day). All round it was awesome, we had a week long stay and I worked remote while my partner explored Rome, and it was perfect for both of us. Cannot fault it, loved this place and would book again
• Lena (9/5): Amazing Appartment near Vatican - It is a very beautiful and spacious appartement near the St. Peters Cathedral and the Vatican. The appartement serves everything you need. There are many restaurants and shops nearby and you can reach the nearest underground station in 3 minutes. You can also reach many sights of Rome very easy. I never met my host (but she was very helpful and texted me via Whatsapp) I got a link for an app to open the doors of the building and the appartment. That was new and a little bit spooky for me.

• Dhanya (9/5): Altogether a very good stay!!! - Apartment was very clean and tidy. Spacious and exactly what is shown in pictures. Kitchen had all amenities. Bathroom was neat and clean. Valeria was very helpful, she was always there to answer our questions right from check-in to check-out. Very clear instructions provided regarding the location. Automated door lock system was excellent. Very near from Ottaviano subway station (300m walk). Well connected to city center. Walkable distance to Vatican. Only issue was with Air conditioner. It made some strange noise. But when changed some settings, it was ok.

Close to Restaurants, Landmarks ( The Vatican is literally minutes away ). and shopping. A very peaceful and quiet stay. We highly recommend Casa Otto. Nothing to dislike!

• Daisy (8/5): Couldn’t have asked for a better location or host to enjoy the beautiful city of Rome - Apartment was in a fantastic location to explore the Vatican City and super easy to walk everywhere else. The host was very helpful before, during and afterwards. She went above and beyond to provide a good service, and provided a really simple digital way of unlocking the outer and inner doors - felt very safe. Bedroom size was great - we didn’t use the living room or the kitchen as we were out most of the day! Bathroom size was a little smaller than we might have liked - my partner is 6ft4. But the facilities were very clean. Could benefit from a better ironing board and lick of paint in some areas but was very impressed overall.
