• Janine (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful stay at this family-run guest house. . The location is charming, tucked away in winding alleys, but thanks to the clear directions provided, we had no trouble finding it. The terrace offers a beautiful view, and the breakfast was both fresh and delicious. ​The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming—and we especially loved meeting their incredibly sweet and friendly dog!

• corine (9/5): - Le logement est situé dans l'enceinte du château à quelques mètres du musée Onufri. Nous sommes arrivés dans la matinée et nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans la maison d'hôte avant l'heure du check in. Le logement était impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

It was a little tricky to find when we arrived but we were able to drive in and park inside the castle gates no problem. The views of the snow capped mountains at sunset and sunrise were amazing. The breakfast was very traditional and delicious, it was too cold to eat on the terrace but we were able to eat in the hallway! The 2 bedroom family suite was very spacious! Perfect for a family of 5
• Josune (8/5): Genial la atención del anfitrión - El anfitrion resolvió un problema con la reserva y nos ubicó en un apartamento muy acogedor cercano al suyo. En la zona del castillo se aparcaba muy bien. El desayuno en casa Luli muy bien, la señora muy amable, nos hizo huevos fritos, queso, tomate, mermeladas, mantequilla, pan, café o té. El error de la reserva en Booking. Que a pesar de no haber sitio me dejó reservar. Pero no fue culpa del anfitrión.
• Irina (9/5): Ich würde diese Unterkunft wieder buchen. - Super Lage innerhalb der Burg von Berat, direkt neben dem Onufri Museum. Perfekt, um die Burganlage zu erkunden. Kostenlose Parkplätze, sehr nette Gastgeber, gutes traditionelles Frühstück. Das historische Stadtzentrum ist in ca. 20 Min gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, allerdings müsste man fit sein, weil der Aufstieg zur Burg ziemlich steil ist. Uns hat an nichts gefehlt, wir haben den Aufenthalt bei der Familie von Torez sehr genossen und würden wieder kommen.

Terrasse mit unglaublich schönem Ausblick. Das Zimmer war recht klein, obwohl in der Beschreibung eine Ferienwohnung mit 30qm angegeben war. Im Bad war ein etwas unangenehmer Geruch.

• Guest (10/5): Pour vous garer : il faut monter en voiture aux portes de la citadelle, passer la première harche, continuer à rouler et - Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueilli, le petit dej est traditionnel et fait maison, la chambre est très bien équipée, l’emplacement est top : au sommet de la citadelle avec une magnifique rue sur Berat. Le logement n’est pas accessible à pieds et les rues pavées sont pentues, cela ne nous a pas dérangé, au contraire nous avons choisi ce logement pour être au cœur de la citadelle, mais il faut l’avoir en tête.

Al ser familia nos dieron un apartamento muy amplio, perfecto. El desayuno se sirve en el patio, abundante y buenísimo. Hay dos zonas de aparcamiento, una pasando la 1ª puerta de la muralla y otra pasando la 2ª muralla.

Trochu jsme se zapotili při transportu kufru křivolakými uličkami, ale stálo to za to. Ocenila bych lampičku u postele.

Les habitacions són molt àmplies i grans, està tot molt net, tot i que la decoració és antiquada però també molt autèntica. L'esmorzar al petit pati també va ser molt agradable i estava boníssim. Després de conèixer Berat una mica, potser haguessim escollit la part de sota per allotjar-nos, que és més accesible.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a small hideout. It was a little tricky to find but the hotel owners met us half way after we got a bit lost…

Está en la zona del castillo, muy pintoresca, aunque con unas calles bastante empinadas, y muy tranquila por la noche. Al estar en la zona del castillo, está apartado del centro de Berat y hay que bajar (y subir) por una calle muy, muy empinada (vale la pena pillar un taxi).

Wer nicht hier übernachtet kann hier ein Getränk genießen und den leckeren Kuchen probieren.

Taking the car to the accommodation is not an option. The hosts are very nice. The daughter and her father were able to communicate in English. The stay has a nice view over Berat and it's a nice sunset spot. The room was nice and clean. Not very big. But we stayed for one night so it was okay for us.

Wellicht het mooiste uitzicht op Berat. Vriendelijke hosts (moeder en zoon). Zeer dichtbij het Onufri museum (iconografie). Locatie was echt in het oude Kasteel van Berat zelf. Het was wel een aardig eind lopen/sjouwen met koffers en (rug-)zakken vanaf de dichtst bij zijnde parkeermogelijkheid.

• Raeleen (9/5): - This guesthouse is such a lovely place! The host is so kind and welcoming and made sure that we had a pleasant stay. We enjoyed coffee and homemade sweets on the terrace after we arrived and the next morning she served us an abundant breakfast. The rooms and bathroom were all really spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only thing I would change is the motion sensitive light in the hallway of the room. The interior doors have glass panels, so the light shines very brightly into the rooms if it comes on in the middle of the night.

The family team, led by grandma was superb, the room itself was spotless and had everything that we needed and the breakfast, which included a variety of home made products, was delicious.

Nur die Beschreibung hat nicht 100% gestimmt :) die Unterkunft ist nicht "only a few steps away from parking place". Es ist etwas mehr als only a few steps. Aber definitiv machbar. Wir können die Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
• Renske (8/5): Prachtige lokatie binnen de muren van het kasteel - De host was aanwezig. We konden gewoon naar binnen lopen. Communicatie vooraf was goed. Een mooi ruim appartement. Een fantastisch dakterras met geweldig uitslag. Host zeer vriendelijk met goede tips voor de omgeving. Prachtige plek midden in het kasteel. Parkeren kan binnen de muren van het kasteel. De kamer is vrij donker. Ontbijt is typisch Albanees. Niet helemaal ons ding, maar wie weet wel van anderen.
• H (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf gehad, genoten van de locatie en het ontbijt. - Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke mensen, ruim, schoon en gezellig. De bedden hadden een kuil, zakten een beetje door.
• Mirjam (10/5): Pareltje in Berat - Een heel fijn appartement midden in Berat. We hadden 2 ruime slaapkamers met een eigen badkamer. Prima! Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Hele aandige familie waar je verblijft. Bijzonder om zo binnen de kasteelmuren te verblijven. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras! Een pareltje in Berat! Alles was boven verwachting.
• Abi (10/5): Would definitely recommend. A great place! - The property was bang in the middle of the castle of the old town of Berat . Really beautiful with cobbled streets and old buildings. Easy parking only a short walk away. Our hosts were wonderful. Luli was very friendly and accommodating and granddaughter and family also very keen to communicate. Granddaughter was incredibly good at speaking English and so very helpful when we had questions to ask. When we got back from our evening meal, we sat down with the family to talk and were offered raki. Bought some lovely home-made fig jam from Luli to take with us. We would definitely recommend staying here. A great visit. Nothing! All good.

• Gregory (10/5): Aangenaam verblijf - Een warm welkom op een fantastische plaats binnen de kasteelmuren van Berat. De kamers zijn ruim en heel netjes. Het ontbijt is vers en lekker. Zeker een aanrader!
