As backpackers we needed a space to rest after the ha giang loop and it was just perfect, so comfy with everything you need, a coffee downstairs and the host was just the best, always available when we needed him and so accommodating It maybe lacked cleaning stuff but appart from that it was perfect !

Arlyn (7/5): Spacious. Need Deep Clean or Get New Cleaners - The host was very attentive to our needs. The place is spacious. First, the property photos were really nice. But those photos must have been taken when the property was new, like 10-15 years ago! The place also need a deeeepppp cleaning! We arrived early but could not get in because the help were still cleaning after the guests left. I don't know what kind of cleaning they do but you can still see dust all over. I paid for breakfast but by reading the comments it was 15 minutes away. Forget that. Our host was able to deliver them to us.

Fedor (6/5): Spacious apartment with a great lake view and a very friendly host, but cleanliness is a problem - The host was very friendly and helpful, explained everything in detail and helped us order food and arrange delivery. The apartment is large, with a nice view of the lake, and located in a good area of Hanoi. This is not a hotel, just a city apartment. There is no café or restaurant inside, and for breakfast you need to walk outside on a street without sidewalks. The apartment was very dirty: dust on the table and furniture, and the curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed for a long time. Even though cleaning is done every day, it is very basic — mostly only the floor in the corridor and light cleaning in the rooms. In the bathrooms there was dust and hair on the floor, and the plumbing, especially the shower, needs to be replaced. Also, payment is expected in cash by default, and if you want to pay by card, they ask for an extra 3% fee.

There should be some kitchen wipes provided.the bath tub must be provided with a step as it is wuite high. The remote for fans were not working. It eould have been better if it had 3 bathroomd.

Tatiana (4/5): The apartments have good potential, but the quality of cleaning, maintenance, and handling of odors needs much more atte - The self check-in was convenient with clear instructions. The second apartment we were moved to was bright, spacious, and in a good location. Pet-friendly policy and a nice café downstairs are definite advantages. Our first apartment had an extremely strong artificial fragrance from an automatic air freshener. After turning it off and ventilating the room, a very unpleasant odor (similar to urine) appeared, making the apartment unsuitable for staying. We were moved to another unit quickly, which we appreciated. However, the second apartment also had significant cleanliness issues. Many surfaces were dusty, there were a lot of hairs on the floor and furniture, food residues under the sofa, and the kitchen utensils were not properly cleaned. The floors, corners, and window ledges had visible dirt, and under the bed we found old items and debris. It felt like the cleaning had been very superficial for quite some time. Since we did not have time to request a full deep cleaning, we had to clean the essential areas ourselves using wet wipes. Both mattresses in the two apartments were worn out, with springs that could be felt when lying down, and the bedding had an overly strong fragrance, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Attached photos show the condition of the apartment on arrival and the amount of cleaning required.

Le ménage laissait un peu à désirer, notamment les fenêtres sales. Blagues laissant à désirer du personnel: divulgation d'informations sensibles (passeport) sur d'autres clients.

John-owen (9/5): Superb - Was located in a nice quiet area, with shops a 5min walk, restaurants to eat (more western ones) 10min walk or a 4 min grab. Booked a 2 bed because I like my space. Beautiful balcony and fast WiFi. Included breakfast at a small rooftop restaurant they own 10min walk away but thank you to Cris for giving me a lift on his scooter to take me. Had a large tv but no channels were working due to no ariel. When I brought this up, I was told I could watch youtube.

Szilvia (6/5): Pleasant - It's a spacious apartment. Wifi and TV worked well Only very basic cleaning was done and not on a daily basis as it says on Booking. The balconies are dirty, the windows as well, the toilets weren't cleaned when we arrived and after we let the host know, the cleaning lady came but no change was visible. No soap was provided in the bathrooms. The place is pretty run down, not like on the pictures

Le wifi marche partiellement, le matin assez tôt la femme de chambre chante, la baignoire fuit, les murs sont très mal insonorisés et il n’y aucun volets aux fenêtres. Très peu de vaisselle aussi pour soit disant 2 personnes. Le seul point positif est le personnel accueillant et à l’écoute mais malheureusement l’hôtel mal en point gâche tout.

Also only about 5 minutes of hot water, Ok for a shower but for a bath it meant taking over an hour to fill the tub Located between two schools so at 7am sharp the daily propaganda announcements came on a loudspeaker followed by music

Lucas (2/5): - We booked Pegasy Suites Lakeside for 11 nights, but left after 4 due to poor conditions. Here’s why: Cleanliness Bathrooms were filthy with mold and dirt. Both bathtubs lacked drain stoppers initially. Foul odor from toilets and drains spread into living areas, requiring open windows. Broken bathroom window lock made it unsafe. Bedding was thin, dark gray, unlike the high-quality white sheets shown in photos. Old, small, thin bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths provided. Laundry machine emitted a terrible odor. Old, thin, dirty bathroom carpets. Facilities Poorly equipped kitchen; only one pot and one incompatible pan for the induction cooktop. No kitchen towel, laundry soap, or basic kitchen necessities provided. Faulty cabinets and drawers in bedrooms and kitchen. Leaky, spraying bathroom faucets. Old, dirty, damaged iron and ironing board available upon request. Only one pair of slippers in a 3-bedroom accommodation. Noise Rooms were not soundproof as claimed. Morning noise from street cleaners, loud nighttime bars, and early ward announcements. Loud music from nearby preschool disrupted peace. Service Poor service: staff initially refused extra toilet paper, then rudely threw it at me. Limited, poor-quality toilet paper and no essential items provided. Value Misleading listing photos and descriptions. Poor cleanliness, inadequate facilities, and unprofessional service make it overpriced. In summary, Pegasy Suites Lakeside was one of the worst stays.

Maria (10/5): Exceptional - We couldn't be happier in this apartment! After travelling for 4 months we stayed 1 week and we were feeling at home. The bed is so comfortable and the washing machine and dryer is a plus! The location is a bit far but we have a motorbike and we chose this area to be far from all the noise from the old quarter. The area where the apartment is located is really quiet and only 5 minutes walking you have plenty of restaurants and bars. If we come back to Hanoi we will choose this apartment again! Nothing

They hold all guests id’s and I told them we would need it back at 6:30 am so we could head to the airport because at night there is no one at the front desk. They do send you a text with basic info but no mention of early morning departure procedures. If they respond otherwise, it’s not true. We had to wait almost an hour until someone finally came to the front and returned my TRC ID. Room was not very clean and had to request they re-clean certain areas.
