My expectations that's all, the young lady was kind as to offer Me my money back if I wanted to leave however it turn out a great lil place

• Maya (10/5): Beautiful hosts, location and stay - The customer service was absolutely phenomenal, they are so kind and helpful. They were so catering to our last minute request to check in at 3am and from there were very helpful and responsive for our entire stay. The place was so clean and beautiful, the shower worked really well. The little balcony was such a wonderful spot to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of the streets below. It is tucked ontop of a beautiful coffee shop, so waking up to grab a coconut coffee watch such a treat. Location was also a 10/10, a short walk to beer street and local markets. You honestly couldn’t get much better value for money. Thank you so much for having us stay!

• Ardene (8/5): Very good overall. - The location was right with the Old Quarter and the bathroom was well kept and clean. It was a challenge to carry bags up and down the relatively narrow stairs as we were on the 5th floor.

• Lia-Yara (9/5): Unterkunft war perfekt, würden wir genau so nochmal buchen! - Die Unterkunft war für uns (Pärchen 20&22 Jahre) perfekt! Die Lage war super und das Personal war mega lieb! Wir hatten ein paar mal mit ihnen geschrieben wegen Transfer vom und zum Flughafen, oder zusätzlichen Handtüchern für einen Ausflug und da gab es nie Probleme! Wirklich mega mega lieb und sehr zuvorkommend, haben auch immer schnell geantwortet und geholfen. Die Lage fanden wir perfekt, von der Unterkunft aus konnte man echt alle Sehenswürdigkeiten easy zu fuß erreichen und ist dann auch noch durchs Old Quarter gelaufen. Der Raum ist nicht riesig aber man hat definitiv genug Platz! Auch das Bad war modern und sauber gehalten! Es ist alles sauber und man bekommt jeden Tag auch frische Handtücher. (Die Fotos die ich hochgeladen habe, hab ich ganz am Ende vom Aufenthalt gemacht! also falls da irgendwas nicht sauber aussehen sollte das liegt nicht am Hotel) Wir hatten unser Zimmer im 5ten Stock. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war zwar echt top aber die Koffer die ganzen Treppen hoch zu schleppen war nicht so einfach weil die Treppen auch echt sehr eng und schmal sind. Für uns war das jetzt kein Problem aber für manche vllt etwas schwieriger, aber ich denke wenn man das Personal vorher fragt bekommt man bestimmt auch ein Zimmer weiter unten.

The stairs are indeed steep and multiple but this is explicit in the description and instructions... It's an old house. We couldn't get out of the building in the morning (about 7.30) It was dark inside, there were confusing instructions, mainly in Vietnamese, and swiping the card, which would have been a logical thing to do, didn't work. It was pretty worrying for some time until somehow the door opened. We've just been told (after our stay) that for emergencies there's a second staircase on the third floor but how would you know that? It seems a simple problem to fix - other guests have mentioned the same thing.

Hannah communicated everything well, making our Hanoi trip smooth and stress-free. - Perfect location, nearby iconic restaurants and everything you want to see in old quarter. Clean and comfortable. Love the balcony. Stairs are quite challenging if you carry big luggage. But only had to do it twice: when checking in and checking out. So not a dealbreaker for me.
• Garry (8/5): Nice centrally located rooms in Old Quarter - It was well located, in the Old Quarter. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious, brights and nicely furnished. There were steep stairs to access the room (it was on the fourth floor); some of which didn’t have a bannister. You also have to access the rooms through a coffee shop. The shop is locked out of shop opening times and the place therefore not staffed. When we tried to leave the property early one morning, we found it difficult to exit, as the door opening mechanism wasn’t clear. In my view it would pose a safety hazard in the event of a fire.

As all rooms seem to be on the upper levels and with no lifts / elevators, I found it a little difficult to negociate the stairs to my room on the third level. Also, there was a lot of strret noise late in to tje night and starting again early in the morning.

Cô chủ nhà cũng đã hổ trợ dọn dẹp ngay sau đó.
• Sarah (9/5): - Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und es war alles sehr unproblematisch:) Es war alles sehr sauber und das Bett war angenehm weich. Es war leider ein bisschen laut, da alle rumschreien ( Viatnamnesische Lultur) und keiner weiß, wie man eine Klinke benutzt und da das Zimmer zu Straße lag, hörte man den Verkehr. Was normal ist, wenn man ein Hotel an einer belebten Straße bucht. Für 1-2 Nächte ideal da alles Fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Ich würde wiederkommen :)

They let us check in without paying yet as we were out of cash and needed to get to the nearest atm first. Paid the day after. They also cleaned the room daily. No elevator. That was already mentioned in the description but to be in that moment where we had to bring our luggage in the fifth floor made me rethink my choices. The stairs were narrow too. But that inconvenience was already expected so just be ready.

Also, have to walk up multiple flights of stairs. We were on the 4th floor and had lots of luggage but no big deal for us. One may put that into consideration when choosing. • Daniela (5/5): Good location, but noisy and with some drawbacks - The room was very nice, and they cleaned it every day. The check-in process was smooth, and the communication with the hotel before our arrival was great. The location in the Old Quarter was very central, which is a huge plus. However, now that I realize how difficult it is to escape the chaos and noise all night long, I would avoid staying in this area again. There were a few issues during my stay: the hot water lasted only a short time, not enough for a full shower; the pillows were uncomfortable; and the street noise made it hard to sleep. I’m not sure if it was due to the season, but the sound of motorcycles never stopped. It was also common to hear other guests arriving late at night.
