JOIVY wants you to have a fantastic stay, and we encourage you to see this property as a home away from home. There are, however, a few points we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay:

Washing up before check-out is kindly required, while stripping the beds would be appreciated but is by no means expected.
Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbors in the building.

Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs.

Due to the ongoing energy crisis, the following rules apply to all properties in Italy:
Guests are obliged by Italian law to follow the rules regarding rubbish collection and recycling. The schedule is different for each city, and guests can find written instructions on the property.
Guests are obliged by Italian law to provide identification and pay the city tax before check-in. JOIVY will not provide access if the online check-in form is not completed or the city tax is not paid.
The condominium (central) heating will work on a schedule, as imposed by Italian law, and heating cannot be adjusted. The schedule will operate as follows: 6 AM to 9 AM, 12 PM to 2 PM, and 8 PM to 11 PM.
The highest temperature allowed by Italian law for the residential sector is 19 degrees Celsius for all thermostats, both central and autonomous heating.
Please do not use more than one appliance at once. Otherwise, you may experience power outages. If this happens, guests will need to reset the fuze box. Please do not use more than one appliance at once.
Please note that if the type of check-in of the property you have booked is "Greeter", there will be extra Late Check-in Fees (note that late check-in has surcharges, payable via card/payment link before your arrival:) for check-in after 7 pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Lighting - kitchen bulb out …The lamp we brought in from living room after 2 days bulb went out … no hot water for the shower, didn’t take a shower the whole time… had to sponge bath, sheets were like burlap I have small burn marks on my forearms just from turning during the night picture taken two days after stay of scabs - were on both sides …

- Darshan (6/5): Pleasant - The location is great, and conveniently located and connected to the public transport system of the city. The neighborhood is filled with good cafes and restaurants, hence if the location is a priority then this is recommended. The owners (or the representative company) are extremely strict about the check-in and check-out timings. For an international traveler, it is quite difficult to adjust to the fixed timings of the apartment. In spite of several requests to allow early check-in, the owners refused to let me arrive at the apartment early. Even though the apartment was available and had no booking the previous night, the owners still did not allow early check-in. Instead, I was forced to pay for an additional night just so that I could arrive early at the apartment. Being a frequent international traveler, I can definitely say that the apartments world over are for more accommodating and flexible and welcoming. I would sincerely recommend to align your travel times as per this apartment, else it is a matter of great inconvenience. Also, I forgot my jacket in the apartment at the time of check-out. Two minutes after check-out, I remembered that I had forgotten my jacket, however I had closed the door behind me and there was no way for me to get back in the apartment. I called the owners, I left them messages on WhatsApp. When I finally get through them, I informed them about the jacket. It was shocking and surprising that their cleaning time did not find the jacket. I would sincerely recommend to check the apartment before leaving, else you may never get it back.

- Etienne (1/5): Avoid at all costs - Location. Spaciousness For starters, the apartment is not properly cleaned 1.Dirt around the bathroom taps. 2.Toilet leaking 3. Dust on kitchen cupboard. If these obvious areas display the lack of heigene and cleanliness so prominently, then I'm beginning to wonder whether the rest of the apartment is cleaned properly. 4. It's a "Self catering" apartment, but necessary kitchen equipment is not available (grater) 5. One of the chairs are broken. 6. We ran out of toilet paper 7. On the 2nd day we had no hot water. We were never given instructions for what to do to get hot water. 8. The same with the stove. There were no instructions and we could not get n stove to work properly. 9. But most disappointing thing is the lack of interest from the management of the letting agent. After requesting your presence several times, you refuse to come to the apartment. Instead you just want to keep on sending a cleaning team. I'm on holiday, I've paid for a clean apartment. I don't want cleaners under my feet. Throughout this process, it was also difficult to get hold of you. Your people skills and communication is very poor. Especially for someone in the hospitality industry.

All these issues meant we did not have a comfortable stay.
