- Christelle (1/5): Une honte et A fuir! - La vue sur le Duomo Beaucoup de choses : méthodes de check-in online, service client très désagréable et inutile, beaucoup de choses endommagées porte de l'appartement, lave-vaiselle, four, canapé, toilettes, douche,lumière clignotante dans le salon la nuit, tous les meubles, pas de draps pour le couchage du salon et une chaleur étouffante plus de 19 degrés, appartment bruyant, des cheveux trouvés dans la douche, nous n'avons pas osé utiliser les verres pour boire. Une honte et A fuir!

- Josiah (4/5): To help others floor 5 room 2. - Location is good bed is good Bunch of incompetent AI chatbots run this place and was not made clear in text what apartment was actually the room. Spent about an hour waiting and trying to call the host with no timely response. Found the room by going to every floor and looking for the special lock. There is also black/ brown mould on the walls in the shower. No surprise there because there is significant water damage in the bathroom.

- Andrew (1/5): If you can afford to spend more on accommodation, stay somewhere else - Central Location The Jewel Apartment has a very central location, just a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo area, which was a positive and made getting around Milan easy. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the stay.
We stayed in Apartment Two, and the apartment itself feels dated and poorly maintained. Every wall had stains, marks, or scrapes, in some cases all at once, which really impacted the overall impression. With a more thorough cleaner and a simple refresh from the landlord — even just going around with a tin of paint and some filler — the property could be significantly improved.
Cleanliness was below standard. The sofa was stained and worn, the shower screen looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, there was mould and soap scum on the shower tiles, and I found hairs in the shower. The towel rail was hanging off the wall, cobwebs were visible on the ceiling, and the general condition suggested neglect rather than wear and tear.
Several things didn’t work properly: two TVs were non-functional, the fridge and dishwasher were not secured and tipped forward when opened, the window shutters wouldn’t close fully, and the windows didn’t lock. Because the shutters wouldn’t close properly, the bedroom was very bright early every morning and, combined with constant street noise (alarms and neighbouring shutters), this resulted in poor sleep. The mattress was also extremely uncomfortable.
Customer service was another major letdown. I first tried to contact customer service the day before we arrived in Milan and never received a reply. At the time of writing this review, we have been home from Milan for a day and I still have not heard back, including via the WhatsApp support feature where I asked for human assistance.
Overall, the apartment wouldn’t be so bad with better cleaning and basic maintenance, but in its current state it doesn’t justify the stay. If you can afford to spend a bit more on accommodation, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

- Stefano 78 (1/5): - Non ho mai avuto l'accesso all'appartamento, ho scritto diverse mail e messaggi si WA, ho telefonato al contatto indicato senza mai avere una risposta, ho dovuto cercare un altra sistemazione ed ho chiesto il rimborso di quanto pagato anticipatamente. Mi è stato inviato un link di accesso il giorno dopo che ho fatto il check-in ON LINE e NON funzionava, non ho mai avuto accesso all'appartamento. Il giorno seguente la mia prenotazione è stata cancellata.
Ho chiesto il risarcimento / rimborso e mi hanno risposto che non è ASSULUTAMENTE VERO quello che ho segnalato.
Nulla ricevendo nei prossimi giorni procederò con la segnalazione per TRUFFA.

Si affida ad un’applicazione per aprire le porte e devo dire che funziona benissimo io ho avuto problemi con il pagamento della tassa di soggiorno,ma chiamando il numero che ti danno in Booking ho risolto velocemente la proprietaria gentilissima e molto disponibile… L’appartamento è piccolo ma gli spazi ci sono,il mobilio è un po’ rovinato ma comprensibile penso abbiano avuto come ospiti persone poco rispettose delle cose altrui.

Κάνεις δεν σήκωνε το τηλέφωνο, τον κωδικό τον έστειλαν 6 ώρες μετά με αποτέλεσμα να πάω σε ένα ξενοδοχείο απέναντι να μείνω και να πληρώσω 3 φορές πιο πάνω την τιμή. Επιστροφή χρημάτων δεν έγινε ποτέ από αυτό το κατάλυμα.
Έξω έβρεχε και είχε πάρα πολύ κρύο. Περιμέναμε εκεί 2 ώρες χωρίς να πάρουμε απάντηση από κανέναν. Μόνο ένας κύριος στην είσοδο κάτω μας είπε ότι συμβαίνει συνέχεια αυτό!!

Only after we paid were we asked to send our IDs for a “verification.” Then, the night before arrival at 11 PM we received an email saying our booking was cancelled because “at least one guest must be 25 years old to check in.”
We completely understand that properties can set their own rules, but these rules should be checked before taking our money, not afterwards. Because of this last-minute cancellation, we had to find a new place on the same day, which was stressful and expensive.
We contacted both Booking.com and the property owners, but we lost the full amount we paid and received no refund at all not even the tourist tax, which we still haven’t gotten back.
This was handled very unprofessionally. The age requirement should have been checked before confirming and charging the booking. We would not recommend this property to anyone.

Aucune notice explicative...le système d'ouverture de la porte d'entrée très compliquée....on est resté plus de 30 mns a essayé de l'ouvrir...
L'appartement par lui même est joli et bien mais a besoin d'un sérieux coup de remise en état

Teils kam ich nicht ins Gebäude. Und musste dann > 1 Std nachts warten, bis der Vermieter reagiert hat und mir einen Zugangscode gesendet hat. Mit dem Hinweis, nach 22 Uhr sei niemand mehr aktiv. Keine Emtschuldigung, dass die eigene Technik nicht funktioniert hat. Dann den Kunden besser direkt Zahlencodes zusenden, bevor diese vor ihrem Appartment stranden. W-LAN meist abgebrochen, weshalb der schlüssellose Zugang auch nicht funktioniert hat.
Alles schon ziemlich abgelebt und damit recht schmuddelig gewirkt. Auch wenn es sauber und gereinigt gewirkt hat.

After 20 phone calls and communication with operator in end they dont let us to check . I was waiting for a hour and half to receive the code and in end no body answer anymore . I write emails to them to the booking too with hope that I can cancel the reservation because anyway we book an other hotel for the night . Unfortunately I don’t have any support not from booking not from that place . When I try to call in the next day no body pick up and the day after I spoke again with the operator and I made a request to get my money back for the booking and she told me to write a email and close the phone . Pretty not friendly and arrogant person ! The Leave me in the street for a hour and half and even I couldn’t made a check in for place which I received and pay for ! I was force to book new hotel because I have to rest after the long travel ! I’m pretty disappointed from that place and still don’t have any answers from them regarding the money and I didn’t revive them back which I think it’s right when I didn’t use the place and it’s them foul! Hour and half in the street and then no answer ? I never had an experience like that in my life !!!! And also booking didn’t help me too in that case …. Bad experience definitely!!!!

I paid twice €20 for early check-in and was left waiting more than 4 hours outside on the street.
There was no effective way to communicate with the host. After 4 hours, I received a message saying I was not welcome because I am under 25 years old – a condition that was never mentioned during booking. They also refused to refund the amounts I had already paid.
Eventually, after hours, they allowed me to enter, but the air conditioning was locked at a fixed temperature, and the apartment was dirty.
The next day, they deactivated the smart lock code, leaving me locked outside for over 2 hours with a sick child who has diabetes, while his treatment was inside the apartment. Despite knowing the situation, they did not cooperate. I had to contact the Italian police, and only then did they send me the access code that should have been provided from the beginning.
After all this, I decided to leave the apartment the following day, and they still refused to refund me. حجزت الشقة من تاريخ 01/09/2025 إلى 06/09/2025.
دفعت مرتين 20€ لتسجيل دخول مبكر، وانتظرت أكثر من 4 ساعات في الشارع.
لم تكن هناك أي وسيلة تواصل فعّالة مع المضيف. وبعد 4 ساعات، تلقيت رسالة تفيد بأنني غير مرحب بي لأنني تحت سن 25 سنة – وهو شرط لم يتم ذكره وقت الحجز. كما تم رفض إعادة المبالغ التي دفعتها.
بعد ساعات من الانتظار، وافقوا على إدخالي، لكن المكيف كان مغلقاً على درجة حرارة ثابتة، والشقة كانت قذرة.
في اليوم التالي، قاموا بإلغاء رمز القفل الذكي، فوجدت نفسي عالقة بالخارج أكثر من ساعتين مع طفل مريض بالسكري وكان علاجه داخل الشقة. ورغم معرفتهم بالموقف لم يتعاونوا. اضطررت للتواصل مع الشرطة الإيطالية، وبعدها فقط أرسلوا لي رمز الدخول الذي كان من المفترض أن يُعطى من البداية.
بعد كل ما حدث، غادرت الشقة في اليوم التالي، ومع ذلك رفضوا إعادة المبلغ

Zostaliśmy oszukani Niestety warunki spartańskie brud syf brak podstawowego wyposażenia w kuchni jak czajnika czy ekspresu szklanki sztuce wszystko brudne brak poduszki do spania brak klimatyzacji, brak oddzielnej sypialni a to rezerwując miało być. Mieszkanie całkiem inne od tego zarezerwowanego okropne!!!

La struttura non corrispondeva assolutamente alla descrizione: era sporca, sporca è dire poco, non credo sia mai stata pulita, peli nella doccia. Tv, frigo, forno, tutti gli elettrodomestici e il divano erano rotti, e le condizioni generali erano inaccettabili. Ante che cadono. Come se fosse stata abbandonata da tempo e mai pulita. Dopo la prenotazione sono arrivati messaggi per pagare per avere lenzuola e asciugamani, anche se erano compresi già nelle dotazioni indicate nella prenotazione. I nuneri indicati per parlare con qualcuno della società di affitti brevi esterna a Booking sono falsi.
Siamo stati costretti a lasciare subito l’alloggio e a prenotare un’altra sistemazione, con un danno economico e di tempo.

Service non présent: on était 4 on a eu que deux serviettes / wifi qui se déconnecte= on n’a pas pu rentrer dans le logement et on a dû trouver un autre logement pour une nuit car on ne pouvait pas rentrer dans ce logement et personne ne nous répondait malgré s qu’on soit sur le palier devant la porte avec TOUTE nos affaires dans le logement à 22h un dimanche soir.

The only contact and messages are automated, we were never able to actually get into the place at all despite submitting all documents and going through an insane check in process. Booking.com should remove this place, it’s a scam, and they haven’t responded to any of my customer service requests, so we’re out a few hundred euros given that we had to book a new place last minute that we could actually get into. Avoid! No information or human contact, we could not get into the place. We were unable to stay there.

- Hossain (1/5): Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hype - it’s close to Duomo I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to be honest about my experience at Apertamente. From the moment I arrived, things felt off. The check-in process was disorganized and impersonal—no clear instructions, and it took far longer than it should have.
The room itself was underwhelming. Photos on Booking.com were clearly outdated or heavily edited. What I got felt tired and not particularly clean. The bedding didn’t seem fresh, and there was a strange odor in the room that lingered the entire stay. Basic amenities were missing or poorly maintained.
Communication with the host/property manager was frustrating at best. Responses were delayed, and when they did reply, the tone was dismissive and unhelpful.
For the price I paid, I expected at least the basics to be solid—but even that was asking too much. Definitely would not recommend, and I will be choosing elsewhere next time.

- Georgina (5/5): Great location and comfortable bed but that’s it. - The location was perfect. The bed was really comfortable and it was great that we had the entire apartment. Check in was simple. The air conditioning didn’t work, unclean (floors were dirty, sofa was unkept, bathroom was unclean), tv in the bedroom was smashed, towel rail was hanging off the wall, there was still a Christmas soap dispenser, both appliances (dishwasher and fridge) are not secured in the fitted kitchen. The bathroom skirting boards need replacing as they’re rotten.

We had a terrible experience with this apartment.
When we arrived, we had to wait over an hour trying to contact the host just to get in.
The check-in instructions provided were inaccurate and did not match what was required to enter the apartment. Nothing except the location

-door lock: app open, but first turn the lock to close, than turn to open the lock. From inside, do not use the handle just turn the lock to close, than turn to open, and the door is open .
- internet modem in the cabinet, down, pull out and push in to the electricity to restart it :)
- newer put a white genuine leather sofa to a guest apartment, because some of the guest will sit on it with freshly painted hair :) , never set invisible desk also
- unfortunately the AI chatbot can not repair the not properly fixed dishwasher or fridge to the cabinet, do not set back the 2 ways openable window if a guest closed back in a wrong way , ( i repaired) also do not be angry if it can not understand what you like to explain :) ask the operator .
- airco remote panel at the entrance to set the temperature, blinds remote on the wall
- do not forget, you are on holiday:)
- Anjeza (1/5): Bad smelly apartment, self checkin and they dont answer any call or whatsapp for anything. The second day someone came a - They changed us the apartment, and send us in a total different area. And they do not answer after that. Not clean, ugly apartment, smelly
