Guest Reviews
- Katy (7/5): - The location of the apartment was perfect, close to the Navigli Canal. It has a great atmosphere around the apartment and the complex was very traditional with a ln I bet courtyard view from the front of the property. The apartment itself could have been cleaner but it was livable.
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Richard (2/5): Rude staff and faulty conditions; otherwise a decent value for Milan. - Close to concert hall, mostly new facilities despite old, decrepit building No heat, sliding closet doors dangerous, no shower curtain to prevent flooding, no instructions for using appliances
Cleaning person insulted my wife (“Are you on drugs?”)and threatened to call police when I was tardy leaving apartment due to misunderstanding. He treated me like a criminal ,ordering me to pack up and leave in five minutes.
I was not informed about extra charges for tourist tax before paying. I tried repeatedly to pay online but agent’s app would not accept my bank transfers from MasterCard and even his own bank would not accept the IBAN number he provided. Finally, he reluctantly picked up the cash personally
Never answered my emails until day of arrival
- Geoffrey (6/5): A pleasant enough apartment, well equipped, in a central location, but we would not rent here again. - Property contained everything we needed for a 14 night stay. Contrary to the advertising blurb, Booking.com was unable - or unwilling - to organise a late check-in. After several contradictory e-mails, a local family member was finally allowed to collect the keys from the office.
A simple lack of hot water issue took 2 days to resolve. "Just run the water longer" response was insulting.
The use of the shower promptly resulted in a flooded bathroom floor, so was useless.
The property description mentioned stairs; what it does not advise is that this apartment is on the third floor and the resulting climb after a day touring Milan is exhausting.
During our stay, some correspondence was directed to our local family member - not to me who rented and paid for the place! Most unprofessional.
The apartment is situated on a very busy street and there is a constant issue of NOISE from the streetcars, police and ambulance sirens and motor cycles, plus the early morning (5-6am) garbage collections. If you want a quiet, relaxing place to rest, this apartment is not for you.
- Pietro (4/5): Disappointing -
