• Barbara (2/5): Pretty poor unfortunately. - Our stay wasnt that great to be honest. The apartment was quite dirty, a lot of dust everywhere, food crumbs along beds, shower dirty, toilet floor not cleaned and smear marks on the doors (a huge jam or blood like mark on the bathroom sliding door) light switches were filthy and TV had many hand smear marks all over. There is a lot of damage, wear and tear to the property and it hasn't been maintained. One of the beds also had a bow in it so it couldnt be slept in. We stayed at Shinjinku property before this and it was a complete different experience. For this price I wished we had stayed somewhere else.

• tanai (7/5): 大はしゃぎは出来なかったけど楽しかった - ベットが全部ツインで寝やすい！大きい鏡とか映えるものが多い！ 壁が薄く上の歩く音走る音が一日中丸聞こえだし、扉の下に隙間があるから声が大きくなくても丸聞こえなのと玄関の外は結構怖い あとは電気がもっと細かく区切って消したりできたらいいなと思いました。

Would have been good to have more direct contact with the staff - it is very automated with the check in on an iPad.

• Julianne (9/5): - Lots of space, easy to find, very close to shops and restaurants Beds are only separated by a curtain so not much privacy. A bit tricky to figure out how to get in at first but then easy.
• ALVINA ANAIS (10/5): - Love the ambience of the home. The location was good. Right after arriving nakano station, walking along nakano broadway which was easy ascess to find food around. They have almost all the facilities provided too. Had abit of difficulty with the check in process and the entrace was quite small to fit all 5 of us with luggages. Otherwise its not a big deal. Overall we enjoyed our stay

• Adriana Losada (9/5): - The place is great! We were six persons (my parents who are elderly), my sister, myself and my two kids (3 y.o. and baby 1 y.o.). We were able to cook few meals, loved the shower with quality amenities, we were able to wash and dry our clothes, very comfortable beds and good smart TV, that we turned on very little but nice to have for Netflix etc.. Really liked the check-in and check-out procedure. And it was nice to use Nakano Station through Nakano Broadway everytime to get around Tokyo. Thank you very much for the team behind it. You made our stay in Tokyo happier!

• MICHAL (4/5): Huge disappointment. - The place is far from Japan's standards. The good things: The neighborhood was cool and fun. Beds are comfortable. And now for the bad: The room itself was not clean in Japan's standards. The bathroom and walls are run down with stains and rust and could use a renovation. The apartment is extremely noisy even though its on the seventh floor and you can hear every car that passes by. It located on a main street with many buses and ambulances/police passing by including at night. Most of all, the description in booking does not match the real world. It says "offers a 4 star hotel experience" when in fact its a self check-in/out apartment with no hotel services at all!!! It wasn't even possible to have our luggage stored on our departure date till the time of our flight. It says on the description "soundproofing" - which is a lie. And the owner did not make an effort to hep us in any way.

• Alexandra (10/5): Fantastic and vibrant place to stay which gives you a taste of real Tokyo life. - Fantastic apartment, which was great for two adults and two teenagers. It was our favourite property on our visit to Japan. Lots of room, very well-equipped, great transport connections, and an interesting area with good shopping and fantastic places to eat. A taste of real Tokyo life. Our only tiny niggle would be that the curtain didn't extend across the whole sleeping area, so we were awoken by bright sunshine at sunrise eg 4 am. Other than that, a great place to stay.

• Lyndsie (10/5): I would stay here again - Huge room, you get an entire floor. Air conditioner was on a blaring when we got there which was great. Very very close to Nanko Broadway, which has everything we needed. Close to train. Although we didn’t use anything, they provide toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, ear plugs and some snacks. Loved the water bottle filing station, water tasted good, not sure if it was actually filtered. Also had a huge TV which was great. Shower was small but very clean. Struggled figuring out how to turn off all the lights, had to climb up the latter to turn off ones of the top bunk because everything was on when we got there…but that wasn’t a big deal.There was a slight damp smell the room, and I kinda felt like a dust to the top of the deuvey, it was clean but a little dusty and dated in some ways. Plenty of towels but they were small and dark grey (prefer white when I am hotels because I know they have been bleached)

Not flexible with early or late arrivals/departures. - It was clean, modern, fun and perfect for my family in terms of space and layout. It was very difficult to find. Directions weren’t user friendly. I didn’t realise it was not a staffed hotel. When I arrived at the address I couldn’t find it. It took me 45 minutes walking around out the front. I spoke to a security guard across the street and even he was confused. I called the number and it was difficult to understand. I then saw a very small sign and followed it. The checkin process was tedious and painful. The property were not feelers all with early or late check-ins and provided a templated response upon each request.

• Murilo (10/5): Amazing stay 15 min from shinjuku! - Everything was amazing, the room is huge and have all the facilities that we need. It's 5 minutes walking from nakano station but you can go inside the sun mall and the nakano broadway straight to the hotel! The beds are really good and there is everything you need 5 minutes walking from the hotel :) The host was amazing as well. There is some windows that we can't cover so in the morning have light!

• Anazeena (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent property for families and groups. The location is fantastic and fit out beautiful. Some of the most comfortable beds we stayed in. Would definitely stay again and no hesitation in highly recommending this property. There is a car park 100m away, multiple food options with Nakano Broadway literally across the road and a very easy transit to the Airports by train or direct limousine bus. Nothing at all.
• Briony (9/5): So good that we rebooked immediately for when we return to Tokyo at the end of our Japan trip. - Perfect for families with everything we needed. Location was brilliant, directly across from shops, restaurants and convenience stores and train station an easy walk through the shopping mall. We had issues with the heating. The control panel was temperamental and wasn’t allowing us to reduce the temperature. Once we managed to turn it off it then would not turn on again. Staff were helpful in trying to trouble shoot via messages though. It also had a terrible smell when turned back on.

• Hare (10/5): Beautiful place! Love it! - Love Nakano city and this apartment, would love to keep coming back with the family. People above were loud on a Friday laughing and stomping constantly until 1am. Close to the road so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll hear emergency cars.

Beds were comfortable, large space and large tv (smart tv) was nice after long day of walking Ladder to bunk bed is not the best and the step up to the bathroom was a suprise in the dark. A small dim led or blue light would be nice.

• Natalee (9/5): Great location, awesome stylish apartment, great with teenager kids - This was a well thought out property, very cool, funky apartment style. Great for families with teenagers, kids! Super handy to a major train station with a heap of cheap eateries all with 5 mins walk! The washing machine/dryer was handy, too. I would book this apartment again. No tea or coffee provided or facilities, which is a standard when travelling! A coffee machine would be ideal but no tea or coffee on arrival was disappointing.

• Brenden (6/5): A bit disappointing - It was spacious, wonderfully located for access to the Nakano Broadway and very close by train to Shinjuku. It was a great size for us and our son and more. We had no water pressure. The first 2 nights we had no hot water at all (middle of winter). Told it was due to the cold weather outside! Pretty funny. Eventually found the hot water system had been switched off. I switched it on (it was outside the apartment behind a curtain amongst the housekeeping things I had to climb over). Even after this it kept turning itself off and regardless the water pressure was inefficient. The place showed its age and wasn’t as clean as you’d like and was noisy (appreciated the jar of earplugs). Other than that, loved the location and the layout. Pokemon fans would love PAO being 2 floors below and food options galore with Nakano Broadway literally across the road.
• Cass (9/5): Superb - Funky creative design space that's very spacious and clean for our luggage bags. Nearby location was amazing since train station, convenience stores, shops and food streets are all within walking distance. We could easily grab dinner late at night and do some last minute shopping at the very end of the day. Overall it really exceeds our expectation during our stay! Its definitely a place for a group of friends who travel together and likes to hang out a lot. An apartment unit right above a noisy commercial shop lot. We had a hard time trying to get into the premise since our luggage bags cant seem to fit in the lift at once, also people coming up and down from the lift stalled us from getting in smoothly when peak hours hit for shops.

Quirky colourful and well thought out apartment, It was clean and neat and tidy. Lots of room for suitcases and luggage which can be space invaders It was self check in by an iPad you log into to enter the apartment and it was no hassle at all. Was a great location- a bit quieter and a few train stations away from all the action - it was nice to come home too after busy streets and packed transport I wish it had some local information provided “like - train maps or city maps or great eateries to try. Yes we used our own phones to search info but it’s nice when there are already some recommendations or suggestions.

Love the “sleepover” hangout concept and I can imagine how awesome it would be to hangout and chat with friends all night long here. Super tidy and clean apartment. Super convenient with Nakano broadway across the road. Would certainly recommend! Nothing - maybe some oil, salt and pepper would have been great. Would have loved to buy a nice piece of beef from the market to cook :) Not a problem for us with young kids but there is not a lot of privacy between the 3 double beds - only curtain.

Everything you want is there, washer with dryer etc Ceiling is not soundproof, we can hear footsteps from the above apartment… Also while we were there, we could hear the police sirens go by a few times … Though the apartment did provide earbuds to cancel out the noise, thoughtful of them
• Andrew (8/5): Worth a return! - Very spacious and clean, able to sleep up to 6 without any issues. Just go through the shopping street will be JR station. Though it's around 10-15mins walk, but because you are walking withing the shopping streets filled with many food and shopping choices, the walk is easy. The water pressure in the unit very weak, not providing satisfying /relaxing bath after whole day out.

Enough space for everyone to have their little nook to chill, open all 4 big luggages with still plenty more space to move around. Convenient location, plenty of eating options, supermarket close by, family mart 7-11 all within 5 to 10mins walk. Had washer and dryer in the room which made doing laundry a breeze. Well thought out design Wouldn’t say that it’s a dislike - more like improvement/ suggestion? The cooker took forever to heat up the pan, so cooking a packet of instant noodles took a loooong time. Would be great if someone were to come and clear the trash at least once every other day automatically instead of waiting for the full 6 days or when requested for. Bunk bed height is kinda low, only good for teens. Otherwise we’ll keep hitting our head. Also, do exercise care when climbing up and down.

• Kelly (10/5): Great space for a family/group and a great location. - Brilliant apartment in a great location. We are a family of 4 from Australia. This apartment is well designed. Good space to spend time together but have privacy too. Well designed bathroom space. Enough space to have your suitcases open unlike many other accommodation options. But plenty of storage and stowing space under beds. Check-in was very simple and they were able to accommodate an early check-in. Elevator up to the 7th floor is a decent size. The location is great. An easy walk through Broadway and Nakano Sun Mall to the train station. Keeps you dry on the rainy days. Lots of eating options and vending machines. I would move in permanently if I could. No towel hooks. Coming from Australia there are towel hooks in every bathroom however, none at this property or any others we stayed in so it might not be the Japanese way. The guests in the apartment above liked to run and so it made it very noisy. But they were all you could hear. Pretty well insulated from street noise and the businesses below.

• Jami (9/5): would reccomend and excited to try the other branches they offer :) - almost everything exceeded expectations and was fantastic. there were sufficient towels, amenities, cooking equipment, and storage for all 5 of us, with extra space to spare. the space felt clean and welcoming. location-wise, it is incredibly convenient with a shopping mall just across the street, and the station is just a short walk away. the environment of illi Nakano was also really great for hosting groups of friends who would like a little bit of privacy, but also want spacious common areas to unwind after a day of exploring (they even had a deck of cards). during our stay, the air-conditioning wasn't working. however, they clearly communicated this to us prior to our stay, and provided us with fans (that kept falling down, but served their purpose). we also opened the windows which gave us a sufficiently cool breeze. the check-in process required all of the guests to be present (and take a photo) before entering the room, which wasn't made clear to us before and caused a bit of frustration as we had organised for one part of our group to arrive and check-in first. however, we emailed the team and they were able to provide us with alternative options quite quickly. location wise, it can be a bit tricky if you're not paying attention to your surroundings. i found it quite easy to locate, but some of my friends (arriving separately) had some difficulty.

• Tiong (10/5): Excellent property at convenient location - The location is great. Easy and convenient access to many restaurants, shopping areas, departmental stores and Nakano subway/train station. I will book this property again if I visit Tokyo with my family members in a near future. The temperature of the shower water is not that stable. Occasionally, the shower water turns cold for a short instant while taking hot water showering.
