The neighbourhood is adorable and it’s close to subway station. 5 minutes from convinience store and 2 from a drug store. Perfect location for people who wants to be near the city center but also appreciate the calm small streets of japan. We loved it here. I recommend to stay here.

- P.N. (7/5): Prima maar maar kan beter - De kamer en badkamer zijn erg netjes. Locatie is prima, op loopafstand van trein, winkels en restaurants. We waren er 4 nachten en er is geen handdoeken wissel of schoonmaak geweest. We kregen 1 badhanddoek p.p. min. 1 wissel was prettig geweest. De voordeur ging niet goed open en daarom contact opgenomen met de verhuurder maar werd niet opgenomen. Ook met SMS geen reactie gehad. Gelukkig ging de deur uiteindelijk wel open. De kussens zijn erg hard en dun en het dekbed was kort.

- Nehir Berke (8/5): Overall amazing experience - It was very affordable. Room was clean and the bathroom was amazing. There was also a kitchen a kettle a plastic stove/heater and a microwave. WiFi and smart tv. AC for heating and cooling. Utensils for eating and drinking and dishwasher soap to wash them in the sink. This hotel was close enough to Kami itabashi station so you are 20 minutes away from ikebokuro and from there you can almost go anywhere.. There were only one big towel for body and and one small one. No soap in the bathroom (but there were shampoo , conditioner and shower jel.) and as far as I understand you can’t open any windows so we had to use the ac for keeping the room fresh. This also caused our only towels to not dry fast enough.
- Ankit (10/5): Loved the Japanese stay. - A well designed, spacious and traditional Japanese experience in a beautiful neighbourhood. The host is very responsive and helpful. Everything in the room was very well explained in the guide book, especially for first time visitors to Japan. It is not covered in the Tokyo Pass but it didn’t bother much because there is a station nearby and we prefer this neighbourhood.

Location maybe far from the station, it tooks me to walk around 14 to 17mins walk from KAMI-ITABASHI station. - Caroline (8/5): J’y retournerais et je le recommanderais. J’ai pu rester 2 heures de plus pour 2000 yens . Facile avec le tenancier. - J’ai adoré l’accessibilité au personnel via le chat. Réponse rapide. Bien située. Propre, belle terasse sur le toit . Le manque de place sur le toit pour faire sécher les vêtements. ( séchoir) seulement des cintres étaient fournis et on m’a dit d’étendre cela dans la chambre mais il n’y avait pas s’endroit et l’humidité était à 96% donc les vêtements ne séchaient pas. Beaucoup de bruits entre 23 h et 2 h du matin presque tous les soirs. Senteur de cigarettes ++ car les gens fument à côté de nos chambres. La personne qui habite dans L’appartement au 5 ieme me fesait de l’attitude car il était assit dans la marche pour me rendre à la salle de lavage et il devait se tasser quand je passait. Soupirait et disait des mots que je comprenais pas. Seulement 2 serviettes pour la durée du séjour . Étant une fille j’en prend 2 à moi seule par douche. Mais nous étions 2 donc, j’aurais apprécié plus de serviettes. Il aurait été bien d’aménager le toit car beaucoup de possibilités. Lors de pluie , accumulation ++ dans les corridors extérieurs. Très glissant et dangereux.
- Siu Long (7/5): Ruim, maar moet beter onderhouden worden - Ruime 2 persoons appartement 407 en 3 persoons appartement 207. Bij de 207 lekte er water van het plafond bij de ingang. Jammer dat er bij 407 geen scheiding is van de ingang en de slaapkamer, nu het 1 open ruimte. Voelt minder veilig. Ook zijn de droogrekken bijna los van de muur in de wc. De badkamer is 1 douche, geen wastafel of een stoeltje om je kleren op te leggen.
- Christin (8/5): Ich hatte eine angenehme Zeit, aber ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben etwas gestört - Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Sie ist weit von Bahnhof entfernt. Die Balkontür war kaputt. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und staubig, es war nicht angenehm sie zu benutzen. Es gab für die gesamte Zeit nur ein einziges großes Handtuch, kein Handtuch für Gesicht oder Hände. Die angegebene Waschmaschine befindet sich im fünften Stock und muss bezahlt werden.

- Diego (8/5): Un buen hotel a buen precio, el único pero es quizás la ubicación ya que la estación más cercana estaba a 15 min caminan - El futon era cómodo y contar con una pequeña cocina ayuda bastante y se agradece. Me faltó alguna silla o un respaldo para sentarse en el tatami, y las paredes eran un poco delgadas y sentarse escuchaba mucho de las otras habitaciones.

- Maria (7/5): Good enough for our purposes - The accommodation was well-provided with amenities and the beds are comfortable enough for me. I like it that it is clean, and slippers were provided. The key was also easy to find. A convenient store is within two blocks away and restaurants and a supermarket can be reached within a short walk (~10-15 min). A pay parking area is a few steps away. The location is not easy to find. It was fortunate that a helpful neighbor confirmed the location for me, because the hotel name written on the signboard of the building is not the same as that on the website. The parking was not available, although it was indicated that the accommodation offers free parking in the website description. We had to move the tables from the rooms to have a makeshift dining area and the chairs and plates are not enough for the number of people booked. It may be a bit expensive than it should be because we booked during the Golden Week.

It may take up to 1.5 hrs to get to some famous attractions in tokyo. - You should drive a car or call a taxi, especially on rainy days.

- Denis (8/5): Very good - Great spacious room with all the essentials and a proper desk for work. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and very helpful staff. Good overall value for money. Washing machine isn't free nor in the room, but still available on rooftop and cheap. Neighbours can get a bit noisy and inconsiderate (talking loudly outside, running in the stairs...) even past midnight or very early in the morning.

- Jasmine (6/5): Recommend for student or schoolies - Air-conditioning is sufficient to cool room quickly. Vending drink machine just next to building. Located near convenience store. Floor was sticky and unclean. Bed set up next to open drain of what appears to be the previous washing machine vent. Had stench coming through lines constantly even whilst trying to block it off. Students living at accommodation were noisy throughout the night. Required to throw trash away prior to leaving. Again, it should be a part of cleaners' duty. 2/3 beds were delightful to sleep on. The other one was akin to sleeping on an elevated wooden floor.

- Kevin (7/5): Value for your money, just be aware of hard beds - Off site staff was quick to respond to our questions even before we arrived from a 16 hour difference in time zones. On site staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly getting us what we needed and fixing problems. He made our stay much better by being so diligent! Being an older facility with it's own kitchenette with a gas burner, I felt it was appropriately clean. Basic, individually packaged personal items and general use items were provided to use if needed. The air conditioning units in each room were great at keeping us nice and cool in the hot, humid September temperatures which was essential to our needs. We were never disturbed by other customers or tenants. The facility location is close to many places within walking distance and easily identified to taxi drivers once we became familiar with our surroundings. The on site drink vending machine was often helpful to provide quick refreshments and help point out a stopping place to taxi drivers. Neither the room nor beds were what we expected: pics while booking room showed 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed for 2 people. Our room that was booked was 2 bunk beds for 4 people. Each bed had no real mattress (just a 3/4-1" thin pad which wasn't dense and therefore didn't provide any true padding), just one comforter and a small half-pillow. Honestly, it basically felt like sleeping on a sheet of plywood, painful. 😫 This room had a foldout futon couch we thought we could use instead of the beds, but it was actually worse. There were some sort of metal bars in the padding which made it even more painful than the beds! 😖 We used it for a luggage rack since there was very limited space. The window next to the front door was opened and there was no lock. We pushed it shut from the outside even though it could easily be opened again from the outside. The room was hot because the air conditioners were not turned on at all and the window was open. This was very unexpected since we had advised them so they knew when our flight was arriving. I've never been to Japan before, but thought turning on the A/C prior to guest check-in was a common hotel courtesy. One of the big, sliding door/windows to the balcony had a huge crack in one corner, but since there was no space left on the balcony to use out there and we were on the 2nd floor, it wasn't a problem for us. We waited until the next morning to contact the off site staff about the window and room difference. I don't know if it was due to the language barrier we were both working with, but they seemed to be getting upset at my questioning if we could move to a different room that matched what we thought we had booked or getting more bedding. Perhaps they thought we were upset, but we weren't. We had never traveled outside of our country before and just needed some help figuring things out to be comfortable.
