• Beyza (7/5): Optimal gelegen für die Fox Parade, ansonsten mit einigen Abstrichen bei Lage und Komfort - Wir waren zu Silvester dort. Und in der Nähe findet jedes Jahr die Fox Parade in der Nacht vor Neujahr statt, was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Nach der Parade kann man entweder mit der Bahn zurück fahren oder 20min zu Fuß zurücklaufen. Die Betten waren groß und gemütlich. Zur Bahn hat man nur 5min zu Fuß gebraucht. Direkt an der bahnhaltestelle ist auch ein 7eleven zu finden. Allerdings auch der einzige weit und breit. Ansonsten süße Wohngegend wo man sich sicher fühlt. Es war leider nicht ganz so sauber. Der Boden war sehr staubig, und im Bad hab ich mich leider auch nicht so wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer hatte traditionelle japanische Schiebefenster, wodurch jedoch Geräusche von draußen deutlich hörbar waren, insbesondere Gespräche und vorbeifahrende Züge. Zudem war die Isolierung im Winter etwas schwach, sodass das Zimmer ohne Heizung recht kühl wurde. Dank der vorhandenen Heizung ließ sich die Temperatur jedoch gut regulieren. Nach Shibuya rein braucht man schon ziemlich lange. Aber ikebukuro liegt zb recht nah.

• MAXWELL (6/5): - The rooms are as expected and it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Near the train station also has a 7 eleven so it was convenient. They were doing repainting and some renovation while on our stay which they didn't inform before the booking. So the walls on the stairway had some wet paint and the smell of paint. Although the staff did inform us on the same day and the workers were kind to inform us of that.

• Kevin (1/5): Place was of such low standards a refund should be considered - Very little I try not to leave negative reviews but after a 4 day stay I must warn other tourists about this place and not to stay here. I was awoken the first morning at 8:00 am by very very loud noises from hammering drilling and a metal cutting and grinder machine, when going outside to see what the problem was I found half the building was covered in scaffolding and protective tarps. Major construction was being done on the exterior of the building installing air conditioner units. I could not remain in the building during the day between 8 am to 5pm for 3 of my 4 days booking due to the noise level, even with ear plugs. I sent two emails with my concerns of the condition of the unit and about the construction taking place to the owner of the unit but he didn’t reply until the last day without addressing any of my concerns but being sure to tell me to make sure I washed my dishes before departing . This place should never have been listed for rent. I have taken photos of the condition of the unit the scaffolding, and some the workers operating machinery. I can’t speak for all the units but mine was #206. Be very wary of staying here.

• Gildenberger (8/5): Schönes kleines Appartement - Die Lage wsr sehr gut und die Nachbarschaft leise. Wie hatten alle Geräte die wir brauchten. Das Ein und Auschecken was einfach und schnell. Die Klappensteuerung der Klimaanlage war defekt, wodurch die kalte Luft ausschließlich senkrecht nach unten austrat. Da das Bett direkt unter der Anlage positioniert war, zog es uns stark auf den Kopf.

• Yasmine (9/5): It was great, I would recommend! - The room was a 5min walk away from the station only, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, everything was clean and we had everything we needed in the apartment. The hosts were very receptive and answered any question we had The WiFi connection was a little slow, that is the only issue we had
• Toby (8/5): Great Stay in Tokyo - Very comfortable beds, toiletries provided, and very conveniently located for all areas you would want to visit in Tokyo. The host was very accommodating as well, and was very helpful in providing instructions for the property. Very close to Kami-Nakazato station (which had a terminal to buy shinkansen tickets, if this is useful for you!), which is on the Keihin–Tōhoku line direct to Tokyo station. Also a 24 hour 7/11 nearby as well, which was very convenient to have. We didn't use this ourselves, but there was additionally a launderette nearby, however the apartment does have washing facilities! Slightly on the small side, but this was a perfectly acceptable trade-off for the location and value provided by the price of the apartment. The air-con was a little bit fiddly to use as well, but I imagine this was more a result of our own stupidity!

• Melisa (9/5): But overall, i love this apartment. It's really near the train station both kama and oji station. And the neighborho - My favorite is the scent of the liquid detergent, no joke. Aside from that, i like the cleanliness of the toilet and the vanity mirror. Everything is almost there. Towel, tissue, cooking stuff, iron, hair dryer, washing machine, bathroom stuff. Those are the things that are already available there. Since there are 2 beds, it's quite hard to move. We're a couple and it would be enough to just have 1 bed. So our luggage was put on top of the other bed that we're not using. This particular room is good for 2 persons only, i think. But we chose this because of its location.

• Martínez (7/5): Nice and comfortable for the price - Its near to the station. And everything is clean. The staff is nice, I didn’t see them but I emailed and they replied so fast. The bed are too big for the room. You have to be careful on the floor because of the scratches , its a little annoying.
• Poppy (8/5): Overall a great stay, very comfortable! - This property had great access to two different train lines, which made getting into and around Tokyo very accessible, sometimes trains could 30-40 mins which we did not mind. Although we checked in remotely the host gave a very comprehensive guide which was super helpful for getting to the property as well as check-in and check-out. Washing machine and Wi-fi were great. The beds were comfortable although I would recommend bringing an eye mask since the curtains do not block out much of the morning light. Do be mindful that the property is on the second floor up a narrow flight of stairs so you have to be careful of getting luggage up.

• Rebekah (10/5): I cry when I leave - I loved everything. The bathroom is really nice the beds are very comfortable and the location is so peaceful. What I’ve personally found is staying a little bit further out is invaluable. There’s a very nice grocery store nearby and even closer 7-11. It’s a quiet neighborhood and you should expect to walk a bit and in return you get priceless peace Tabate might be a slightly more convenient stop but that’s no reflection on the apartment just an observation on the getting around part
• Alison (6/5): Pleasant, comfortable stay convenient access to amenities. Reasonable price for our needs. - Owner emailed clear instructions to access room key from the lock box. Property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and was an easy walking distance (flat road) from the train station even with all our baggage. We took the train from Narita airport to the apartment and the station had a lift which had very easy access. Convenience stores and a supermarket was near the station so it was easy to pick up anything you need. The next train station Oji was a busier place and had a lot more food options (including McDonalds) and we walked (also a flat road) there nearly every night for dinner. We didn't spend much time in the apartment but it was adequate enough and having a washing machine meant that we didn't need to bring too many clothes. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom amenities provided smelled nice. The shampoo made my hair soft and smooth. Split system was able to provide adequate heating during our stay (9/12-16/12) Trying to follow the owners instructions to check in in the evening was challenging as it was a bit hard to follow the directions in the dark. The apartment was a bit cramped with 3 double beds, 4 adults and all of our bags. We couldn't push our bags under the beds as the gap wasn't big enough. Would have been better with one less bed so we could move around the apartment. Beds were comfortable but if you are of a larger build, it would be squashy sleeping with your partner. It didn't bother us, but there is no lift access to the 2nd floor it was only stairs.

• Marzia (2/5): A really dirty place - Comfy Bed When you're traveling internationally and paying a fair amount for accommodation, the last thing you want is to end up in a dirty place with different features than those presented, and yet that's how it went. I've stayed in many different places on my trips to Tokyo and I can assure you that for the same price, you can find much better. To welcome a little book with all the "duties" of the guests, including having to clean and put away those magnificent dishes (because obviously they wouldn't have done it). The only positive aspect of this "apartment" is the comfort of the bed. Dirty environment, makeshift and stained kitchen, three terrible and dirty dishes. The only chair was "mended" with stationery white-out. Plus, the only sink in the bathroom is the one you see in the photo, otherwise to wash your face, you have to use the one in the kitchen. The wi-fi didn't work and we had to contact the host to fix it. The description also includes a "balcony" which is the same one you can see in the photo and I won't add anything else. If you have even just a 70-liter suitcase like in our case, there is no place to open it. To go up to the second floor there is no elevator, but a steep staircase and it could be a problem for those with heavy luggage. Also, on the day of check out, even though it was scheduled for 10, at 9:30 someone came knocking twice as if they wanted to come in. Go elsewhere, the location is also not ideal. Also on the last day, a message arrived inviting me to leave a good review from the host: out of this world!
• Emily (6/5): Small, Quaint, could use updating. - Although small, the area had everything we needed, 2 beds, fridge, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and wifi. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint and it felt safe walking around at night time. The gas station was close for convenience. The train station was also near by. The subway was about a 15 min walk. The room we received was very small for 2 ppl, not enough space to open even 1 full size suitcase and we had to put them on our beds in order to open them fully. I believe the bedding, curtains, decor could have been updated as the room was very dark with green, purple curtains all around. And the blankets had a scratchy texture. The room was right next to the train as well so there were some noises from that. The walls were also very thin, so it was easy to hear guests from neighboring rooms. The room we stayed in was another room, not pictured in the listing so maybe they have just not gotten around to updating that particular room.

The owner was very generous with our stay when we wanted to put our luggage early, which helped us to explore early without our luggage! Recommended this place!!! Its our first time being on Japan too!

• Lucas (8/5): Small, cozy and cheap - Everything else, bath was nice, bidet was nice, half-fridge fridges and freezes things, and the AC works. The neighborhood was a nice change of pace compared to inner Tokyo, feels more like a "normal neighborhood", which it probably is. We tried our best to be respectful of the neighbors, and keep our trash separated. Would've liked three separate beds, it was unclear when booking if it was a twin+single or three singles but we made it work.

But overall, everything was perfect! Just sometimes, someone locks the access to the stairs so i was stranded for a bit outside cause I only have the key for my room and not the key for the main entrance access door
• Chew (5/5): Decent place to stay - I liked that we were near laundry mats and some restaurants and a train station. I liked that the bathroom had a sink in it as our other locations didn't have a sink in the bathroom. I didn't like how crowded it felt and how the bathroom didn't have a sink or much space to hang clothes without it being dry. I also didn't realize how small it was until we had arrived.

The owner was kind to me and he or she answered back fast to everything I said! The communication was perfect. It was close to the public transport. It was a good stay and we had everything in need. The bed was the only thing that could be better. The bed of our friend next to the window was okay. But the other bed next to the door was not comfortable for two persons. The mattresses seemed old and my friend had a little backpain in it. Also the room was too small for three persons. On pictures the room looks a lot bigger. We couldn't put our luggage.

• Morriz (9/5): Superb - I love the location. Very easy to access from Kami-Nakazato station or Oji Station. About 7 - 10 mins walk. I love the toilet :) japanese toilet is the best. I call that toilet "my bestfried" because the toilet seat warms me up during intense moments 😃 The bed is comfortable, the shower and tub is clean with amenities. Microwave, refrigerator, Clothing Iron, hairdryer, TV, and air conditioning (with instructions) are included. The walls are soundproof which is great! The location is close to train station but I barely noticed any train noice. What I didn't like is the laundry area. The machine is available but there's no place to hang or dry the clothes properly so we ended up doing coin laundry. Good thing there's a close coin laundromat. The kitchen and sink are available and clean but there's no space to properly make any meal. We mainly use it to boil water for noodles or eggs.

• Hanugra (9/5): Superb - I think this place is like a hidden gem, with a quiet environment making a perfect gateway from Tokyo busy. Located 750 from Kami-Nazakato sta, I think this station is great due to a busy hour is rarely to occur queue. and Keihin Tohoku train provides great services. Although this place is small all equipment is perfect condition. During my one month stay here I was very satisfied. My only complaint is the steep stair at the entrance, I am having difficulties when carrying large luggage to my room on the second floor. But hey, this is Japan, almost all place is compact yet efficient :)
