• michele (9/5): Ottimo soggiorno! - Posizione molto buona vicino all acropoli in una via dietro il quartiere di thissio, molti ristoranti (anche se turistici),la via è abbastanza silenziosa,vicino alla metro 3 che porta in centro e fino all'aereoporto (circa 700mt).l 'appartamento è confortevole anche se manca qualche utility come un forno a microonde, un semplice canovaccio, ecc, cmq piú che sufficente per passare qualche GG. Niente in particolare

• Debi (10/5): - Just as it appears in the photos, this studio is generously sized and very clean and comfortable. The shower is terrific, big enough for two, and with a rain shower head as well as a hand set. There is a washing machine and drying rack. We didn't do any cooking, but equipment was there. Importantly, as it is on a busy street, there are metal roller screens to cut the noise and light for a good sleep. Many good restaurants are in the next street, a 5 minute walk away, and there are 2 supermarkets nearby. The area is inner-city so it may look a little sketchy to some, but it is perfectly okay and obviously being gentrified. The hosts provided welcome information and responded quickly to our queries. We would definitely stay again.
• Annika (9/5): - Tolle Lage, alles perfekt zu Fuß zu erreichen und die Metro vom und zum Flughafen nur 9Min Fußweg entfernt. Super geräumiges Apartment mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Küche groß genug, um dich selbst zu versorgen. Bäcker und Supermarkt 2min Fußweg. Der Aufzug ist stecken geblieben. Lieber die Treppe nehmen. Um 4h40 kommt täglich die Müllabfuhr oder ähnliches.

• Shannon (10/5): - Perfect place to stay. The location is amazing, it is close to all the attractions and transport, I walked everywhere. It is easy to do day trips from also. The neighbourhood is lovely, there are shops 1 minute walk for food, coffee, and restaurants maximum 5 minutes walk. It felt very safe (solo female traveller approval). The locals are lovely and welcoming. The apartment is larege for 1 bedroom,very spacious and has everything you need, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful and functional, a great shower, washing machine, etc. The apartment is spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It appears to be recently renovated and set out really well. The balcony is a great bonus to relax on, and there was a cute older couple across the road that would wave hello every day. I will stay every time I return to Athens. Nothing, it was excellent 👌

Actually the Acropolis is in the end of the street :) We loved the big rooms, the washing machine in the bathroom, and the balkony too. Little bit noisy due to the street, but it is bearable

The place was very clean, cozy, and well-equipped — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was excellent; we could walk to many of the main attractions, and there were plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The host was incredibly kind and responsive. We stayed in touch before and throughout our stay, and they were always ready to help with anything we needed. That made us feel very comfortable and taken care of. We didn’t have any problems during our stay — everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. If I ever come back to Athens, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well-located apartment with a helpful and friendly host. It was truly a great experience. I didn’t take any photos, but everything was just as shown in the listing — clean, central, and comfortable, with a helpful host. I’d definitely stay again. One small suggestion would be to provide disposable slippers and paper towels — it’s a little touch, but it would add extra comfort for guests.

Here’s my most unforgettable booking experience on Booking.com: At 1 a.m., when we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted with the warmest welcome – a room full of fresh and lively cockroaches! The big ones were strolling on the walls, and the small ones were crawling on the floor. When we tried to boil water, there was a giant cockroach sitting in the power socket, supervising us. As my wife went to the bathroom, a cockroach sped by, sticking close to the wall beside her, which led to an unforgettable scream. The host asked us to respect the neighbors, but it’s clear we disappointed him. When I reached out to the host for help, he wished me a pleasant night. If Booking.com doesn’t address situations like this, I’ll never use the platform again. Goodbye, cockroaches.

• Daria (1/5): Bad - Beware of BED BUGS! Beware of BED BUGS! We found bed bugs in the apartment. We immediately reached out to the host asking for a refund for the remaining nights and moved out of the property. The host did not reply anything comprehensive. Customer support from bookings was also not very helpful. They tried contacting the host for several days, but the host would not reply. So far no refund and terrible customer experience on the part of both host and bookings.
• Peter (10/5): Great experience. - Location, location, location. But…also a very inviting/cosy apartment . Loved the open plan space. It has everything you need and more. Great internet and loved the spacious shower facilities. Reasonably quite, though in a very central part of Thissio. Leroy is one of the very few property managers who stays in touch on a regular basis, providing suggestions and assistance. His recommendations list was top notch. Very close to supermarket, coffee shops and numerous restaurants. Nothing really I didn’t like. Maybe a few more coat hangers will be appreciated. First world problem really.
• Marta (10/5): Comfortable and spacious with a great location - The apartment was very very spacious, including everything we could need, the kitchen was well-equipped and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and wifi worked great. Location was perfect, walking-distance to all the sights. We arrived early in the morning, and the host was able to accomodate early check-in for us, which was really helpful. The check-in process with the code is very convenient. Nothing.

It is perfectly located, is very modern and comfortable and has every amenity you could need. We stayed for only two nights, but could easily be comfortable at this apartment for many weeks. • Robert (10/5): great studio apartment, perfectly located on walking distance to everything you like to see and do. - location is absolutely great. everything in walking distance. close to the most famous historical things to see and also close to restaurants, super markets, fabulous coffeeshops and bakeries. just a great location to have a great time in Athens.
• Patrick (9/5): Nice and cosy flat close to the historical center. - Nice and cosy apartment located perfectly close to the Acropolis and easily accessible from the underground on the line coming from the airport. Bunch of nice bakeries, restaurants, cafes and shops around. Easy access to the flat and good communication with the owner. The apartment might be slightly cleaner. I’d appreciate more kitchenware. Time spent on the balcony is slightly worsened by the heavy traffic on the street.

• Adam (10/5): Great place to stay if you want to experience a less touristy Athens neighbourhood - We picked this apartment as we wanted to stay in an Athens neighbourhood away from the crazy tourist spots. We were so glad we did! Thissio is such a beautiful area. It and the nearby Petralona have really cool bars and restaurants but it's still very quiet and laid back. Lots of local Athenians going about their usual lives. It was also very close to all the main attractions. Acropoli is only 20 mins walk, but there's a bunch of bars and restaurants with incredible views nearby. Access to public transport is great. Two stations within 7-10 min walk. Busses at the doorstep. The apartment is very well appointed. The kitchen is small, but that's only an issue for us as we like to cook out own breakfasts and lunches when on holiday. For the normal traveller whose eating out it won't be a problem. I was a little nervous because I read reviews that it was a bit noisy with traffic and thin walls with other apartments and I'm a light sleeper.. I didn't have any issues with this at all. It was a very peaceful place to stay. Excellent communication with hosts, who provided very good recommendations for places to eat and drink. Oh - there's a bakery around the corner that has the most delicious bread and baked good. Check it out. I would have loved a few more kitchen things, like larger chopping board and some stock oil etc. But that's just me being weird. Otherwise loved it all.
