• Ambari (10/5): - We stayed for 5 nights at the Athenian Living Penthouse Apartment as a couple and had a very good experience overall. The apartment is a duplex located on the 3rd floor without an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The apartment is spacious and practical, with a double bed and a bathroom on each floor. The upper floor was our favorite part — it has a comfortable double bed, a bathroom, and a wonderful terrace where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Athens. There is also a kitchen equipped for cooking if you prefer preparing your own meals. The location is absolutely perfect. Everything a tourist may need is nearby: restaurants, cafes, shops, attractions, and public transport. The only downside is the noise at night. Since the apartment is in the heart of the tourist area, there are many restaurants, music, and people outside until late. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this may not be the best choice for you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers who want to be in the center of everything and experience the lively atmosphere of Athens.

Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Lage ist unschlagbar, mitten im Geschehen und weil das Schlafzimmern hinten liegt, bekommt man auch wenig von den Bars und Restaurants an der Straße mit. • Barbara (9/5): - Extremly vivid area, great brunch places just around the corner, coffe bars and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. The penthose apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms. The penthouse apartment has a huge terrace, but the extractor hoods of the surrounding restaurants are very loud, and despite this there is always a strong smell of food.

• Esin (9/5): Excellent location and a comfortable, spacious place to stay in the city center. - The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. I was also pleasantly surprised that the apartment was more spacious than I expected for a place in the city center. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the cleaning. Since it is an apartment rather than a hotel, cleaning is not available on request, even for longer stays.
• Georgios (7/5): - It’s near Monastiraki Square with easy access to the city center. The host was available and really helpful. The accommodation is located next to a busy street, so there was constant traffic noise throughout the day and night. Additionally, the soundproofing inside the building is quite poor. I could clearly hear people going up and down the stairs, which was especially disruptive early in the morning and late at night. It made it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Another point worth mentioning is that the cleanliness could have been better upon arrival. In particular, the sofa and the floor did not feel as clean as expected.
• Shir (7/5): - Very clean and have lots of place. In the center of the center- great location!! The street is a bit loud on weekends- but the bedroom is isolated so it didn’t bother at all. Overall lovely! Love it The only thing is the window on first floor(ground floor) - its a really big window in the front of a busy street in the so it’s really uncomfortable to leave it without the curtains, most of the time there is no natural light or air..

• Anke (8/5): De perfecte locatie en fijne uitvalsbasis in Monasteraki - De locatie is echt perfect, middenin één van de hoofdstraten van Monasteraki en op een paar minuten afstand lopen vanaf de metro. Overdag hangt er een relaxte sfeer en ‘s avonds is het een bruisende straat met mensen die genieten bij de restaurantjes. Het bed is comfortabel en het appartementje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De bank was vrij hard en hier en daar een beetje doorgezakt. Doordat je aan een drukke straat zit hoor je ‘s avonds wel een beetje geluid van buiten. Er zitten grote shutters voor de ramen en deuren waardoor het meeste geluid tegengehouden wordt en rond een uur of 11 wordt het buiten ook een stuk rustiger. Wij hadden er geen last van en sliepen er prima doorheen, maar goed om te weten dat de perfecte locatie ook wat meer geluid met zich meebrengt.

Όπως η κατάψυξη που εχει να αποψυχθεί μηνες με αποτέλεσμα μολις ανοίγεις το ψυγειο να πέφτει πάνω σου το πορτακι του. Οι μεταμεσονύχτιοι θόρυβοι των από πάνω που δε σε αφήνουν να κοιμηθείς από τις 5 το πρωι και μετά. Οι τσακωμοί που γίνονται απέξω στο δρομάκι μετά τις 12 το βραδυ, δυστυχώς ακούγονται επάνω, παρότι εχει πολυ Καλα κουφώματα. Και τέλος η δύσκολη πρόσβαση στην επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη. Ένας συνδυασμός που δεν θα επέλεγα ξανά

• Nele (6/5): Tolle Lage! Athen ist eine Reise wert! 😍 - Die Lage ist super toll! Alles ist zentral erreichbar und es gibt so viele leckere Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Umgebung! Ich finde die Wohnung ist auch geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Betten waren ganz bequem. Oben auf dem Schlafsofa haben wir nicht geschlafen. Super fand ich auch die Gepäckaufbewahrungsschränke mit Schloss im Flur… richtig gute Idee! Der zu späte Check-in. Eigentlich konnte man um 15 h einchecken aber da nicht geputzt war, ging es erst um 16 h. :-( Außerdem war die WLAN-Verbindung der Wohnung nicht vorhanden (da kaputt) und somit hatte man kein TV und kein WLAN fürs Mobiltelefon oder iPad. Hab es sofort nach Anreise gemeldet, aber es kam erst am nächsten Tag eine Antwort (mit der Info: not working).
• Dawn (9/5): - This property is in the heart of all the action so if that is where you want to be this is the ideal place for you. Step outside the door and you are surrounded by a vast array of restaurants and cafes. The cafe next door is excellent for breakfast and Bandiera just around the corner is excellent for dinner. It is easy walking distance to all the attractions and just over 1km to the airport bus. The host was excellent answering our texts promptly and allowing us to store our luggage on our early arrival. The apartment is clean and well equipped.

• Patricia (9/5): Super eingerichtete Wohnung mit top Lage! - Einrichtung ist sehr schön, die Lage ist top! Und es war die beste Dusche meines Lebens! So gut! Es stinkt nach Bratfett auf der Terasse durch die Restaurant unten. Das war ein bisschen schade, aber wenn man nicht so empfindlich ist kann man da trotzdem gute Abende haben. Es riecht nur manchmal wenn ein Windzug kommt.

• James (8/5): As advertised. great location and priced right. - We loved the location and access to nearby places to eat and shop. Our room did not have a balcony, and the bedroom was upstairs without window, making it very quit and insolated from the busy activities outside. Taxi was able to drive right to the door. Lots of room and well designed for travelers. No USB Ports. Lights using remote control were confusing. Stairs were expected, but are always an issue.

As we were on the ground floor we could not open the windows for ventilation as they opened directly on to the street (which has a lot of foot traffic) and the room was then accessible to anyone passing by. Unfortunately, the aircon was not working very well in either room. We were fortunate that it was not hot as it would have been unbearable. The room requires more airflow. On the surface level, the room appeared clean but the the couches, cushions and bedding were stained and grubby. We had to ask for a quilt cover and pillow cases for the extra 2 pillows as the bed was only made with a bottom sheet and the rest we had to make ourselves. The room was nicely decorated and the location to nearby restaurants was great. A good location for central Athens.
