• graeme (10/5): The Flight of Icarus 😉 - The owner John was extremely helpful and the apartment was excellent,very clean and all the facilities we needed. We were in town for the Iron Maiden concert and booked this area of Athens so we could visit the Acropolis / Parthenon and walk to some other sites. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants in the area to. It was easy to get to the OAKA stadium by train. Excellent start to our tour Nothing to complain about

• Peter (10/5): Would stay here again. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating and it was the perfect base for our tri - The apartment is large and well laid out. The kitchen has everything we needed with a nice lounge area and a spacious balcony. The children each had their own room as did we.

• Razeq (10/5): A wonderful stay with a welcoming host who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. - We arrived quite late, but our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He made sure we felt comfortable right away and even left complimentary drinks and starters in the apartment, including milk and other refreshments, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also took the time to tell us about what was around the area and gave us tips on what we could do in the country, which really helped us make the most of our stay. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and perfect for our trip. His hospitality truly went above and beyond—I would highly recommend staying here N/A

• Przemysław (10/5): - Witam byliśmy rodziną 2+4 dzieci 4,11,17,17. W mieszkaniu 3 duże pokoje 2 osobowe plus dodatkowa kanapa w salonie. Wygodne łóżka na których każdy się wysypiał. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja umożliwiająca szybki transfer do najważniejszych atrakcji Aten. Metro blisko przystanki autobusowe bardzo blisko. Mieszkanie bardzo dobrze wyposażone jeżeli chodzi o komfort odpoczynku po całym dniu zwiedzania. W każdym pomieszczeniu sprawna w 100% klimatyzacja dwa tarasy na których można posiedzieć wieczorami. Zaplecze kuchenne również "jak w domu" toster, mikrofalówka, piekarnik, duża lodówka z zamrażarką komplet naczyń. Pralka żelazko suszarka wzzystko naprawdę pod ręką. Gospodarz John przyjął nas bardzo miło mimo późnego przybycia na miejsce. Wszystko opowiedział wytłumaczył nie wspominając już o prezentach zostawionych w lodówce na miły wieczór. Na naszą prośbę wydłużył nam możliwość późniejszego wymeldowania ze względu na późny lot. John Dziękujemy za wszystko. Brak

• Alexander (9/5): - There were six of us in the apartment (2 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space, including a private terrace. John, the landlord, communicated early and gave us plenty of information. He also checked in regularly to see if we needed anything else. Various tourist buses (e.g., the Big Bus) stop right next to the building, allowing you to explore the city. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Monistraki Square, Plaka, etc. We would definitely book the apartment again. It was quite noisy
• Susan (9/5): Great place to stay with plenty of usable space - John was a fabulous host. He was very responsive before and during our visit. He met us at the apartment and took us through how everything worked. We loved the size of the apartment. There is a large balcony, kitchen, living room and balcony so the four of us had plenty of space to sit and talk. We also appreciated the lovely welcome gift. We also appreciated being able to use the washing machine and the clothes drying area. Second bathroom was very small. Only body wash in the main bathroom and hand soap in the 2nd bathroom

• Fiona (9/5): Great base to explore from with the most helpful host. - The host was incredibly helpful and touched base to ensure we were okay (also adjusted check in and out times which was very appreciated). Everything is thought of, lots of little extras. Ooh, do check out the hosts dining recommendations - amazing choices! We enjoyed our stay very much. Be aware the third bedroom is connected to the main bedroom by sliding door. Was fine for us and would really suit families - they even had toys!

• May (10/5): I would use it again - The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The instructions were very clear and the welcoming gift was an extra touch. The location is close to an area full of graffiti. It is too much. But you can avoid it when you get to know your way round.
• Cristi (8/5): Nice place to stay - - the apartment is very big and also the terrace - so many rooms and beds - it is very close to Victoria metro station - fully equiped kitchen - baby room, so many toys and free crib - 2 bathrooms with shower in each one - welcome water and champagne - washing machine and dishwashing machine - close to the city’s main attractions - nice view from windows - the owner managed to help us with one more night and to hold our luggages for a period, after check-out - the neighbours are very noisy, also after midnight. We felt like somebody wanted to brake the Emergency door…in every night - the windows are low quality, you can hear the hight traffic from outside at any hour. It was very hard to sleep - everything was set to minimum: the lights, the water pressure. The doors and the floor are very creaky - the hot water system is not that easy to use. You have to leave the switch on for 20 mins till the water from tank will be fully hot, then to turn off every time. and repeating this process every time - the chairs and table from the terrace were full of dust

Very interesting decoration, with attention to every detail, we really loved it. We were 2 families, 5 adults. It was much more than enough for us, the place is very spacious. perfectly designed also, very comfortable. A lot of thanks to hosts for all this, we really enjoyed it!

• Ana.travelbug (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful spacious apartment next to the Archeological Museum and within walking distance of great restaurants. The host was great, gave us many good tips and recommended what to see. The kitchen is excellently equipped! We had everything we needed. We spent most of our days out, so we barely used the kitchen and other facilities, but it's hard to think of anything bad. We only used the shower in the bigger bathroom as the one in the other bathroom doesn't have a curtain or doors.
• Czari-an (10/5): Exceptional - The penthouse was really nice. Close to the center. The bus tours are just within a few minute walk. The place is secured. We can see the lycabettus hill and national archaelogical museum from our place. John our host was nice and helpful. We had a lovely welcome drinks. The place is clean. The morning of our check out, there was drilling non stop. Woke us up early..

• Carla (10/5): Lovely winter break in Athens - Very spacious, tasteful and comfortable apartment. There is one separate bedroom with a double bed and two inter connecting rooms, one with twin single beds and one with a double bed. None of the bedrooms are en-suite but there are two bathrooms, with shower, in the apartment. The living room and kitchen are are very cozy and well separated form the bedrooms, so plenty of space for everybody. There are several balconies, one of them quite big, and the views don't disappoint either. The apartments is close to a metro station so it is a very good base to explore the city. Communication pre-travel (and during our stay) with John, the host, was excellent. He met us on arrival to check us in. The welcome drink and coffee were a very nice touch. Paid parking for a reasonable price is also very close by if you have a car. Supermarkets and plenty of coffee shops in the area. We had no safety concerns throughout our stay. There are on-going construction works nearby, as already mentioned in a previous review (work starts at 7.00 AM), but these won't last forever and nothing a pair of good earplugs couldn't fix.

• Terina (10/5): Great stay with 5 people!! - The host is absolutely fantastic! John was so kind to meet us at the accommodation and go through the whole place with us and gave us some really great tips about althe area. The accommodation is very secure, we felt very safe there. We loved that the beds were extremely comfy, there was wifi which was fast, a fully functioning kitchen and our favourite part was having meals in the balcony together. The accommodation is very clean, we had 5 people stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The supermarket is a 2 minute walk and commute to and from was very easy. The location is abit run down but I believe most of Athens is like that. It was still easy to get out of the area. We had a great stay regardless so it and we felt very safe at the accommodation.
• Jasmyne (10/5): A lovely host with yummy coffee! - John was very accomodating he met us at the apartment and gave us a tour around the apartment before handing us the keys and departing. He even gave us a complementary wine on our arrival and some pamphlets on what to do in Athens. The place was very clean and spacious and we enjoyed our time comfortably there. The AC worked wonderfully and there was even a washing machine with powder that John provided! There were extra face towels, body soaps and there was a very big room to hang your clothes which was convenient to store your luggages as well. There is construction next door that started work every morning at 7am which woke us up every morning during our stay. Also, multiple taxi drivers mentioned that we were not staying in a safe area which made us a little paranoid in going out at night. A part from all of this most people in the area were very lovely particularly the staff at coffee lab where we ate and had coffee most mornings. This was right outside the place we stayed, you could see it from one of the balconies.

• Marina (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was centrally located and within walking distance to most tourist attractions. The apartment was very clean, modern, well furnished. The uost was easily reachable and helpful. He accomodated us with early check in as we arrived in Athens early in the morning. City views from the apartment on both sides were quite pleasant.
• Anna (10/5): Very enjoyable and easy. - John met us and showed us everything in the apartment. It is spacious and very well equipped and in a good location for visiting Athens. John also recommended two fantastic Greek restaurants and a really efficient taxi company for the airport run. Any queries I had I sent a message and John replied very quickly. A very generous host who spoke excellent English. Just a note that there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom accessed via sliding doors from one of the double bedrooms. Fine for us but may not be to everyone's liking.
• Alaa (10/5): The best place to stay in Athens - An exceptionally clean, perfectly equipped, centrally located apartment. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The apartment is two minutes walk from an important bus station “polytechnio” which will take you anywhere in Athens. If you walk in the other direction, you will find two supermarkets and numerous small boutiques and shops, and the Victoria Metro station. If you need to chill, the apartment has a lovely balcony with a good sized table with a nice view, the bedroom balcony overlooks the Archeological Museum and Lycabettus, a view that is magnificent under the full moon. The apartment was accessible through a lift that was properly functional, and the building was very clean and safe. John was extremely helpful, his hospitality was unbelievable, he was keen to be there when we arrived and when we left, he helped explain how to manage everything, and would promptly reply to our inquiries over the phone or WhatsApp. His recommendations for restaurants, beaches, transportation and even mobile apps for food-delivery were spot in. He made us feel at home, and we are honored to be hosted by such a polite and helpful person. The best experience we ever had!! Couldn’t think about anything we didn’t like!

Apartment appears to be newly remodeled and was perfect for our family! We stayed in several apartments this trip, but this one was by far the best! The only difficult thing was finding which alcove we needed to be in to get in.
