• Bryan (10/5): 10/10 - L'emplacement de l'hébergement est idéal pour faire le tour du centre à pieds. Avoir une hôte aussi gentille et disponible est un plus qu'on ne trouve presque jamais ailleurs. Elle répond très rapidement aux messages qu'on lui envoie et nous avons même pu laisser nos affaires le jours du départ comme nous sommes en saison basse. L'appartement est très joli, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour agréable. Le plus est la petite terrasse très confortable. Il y avait aussi des petites attentions de L'hôte dans le réfrigérateur. Merci beaucoup !
• Yori (10/5): A lovely, cosy little place - This place is in the centre of Athens — very convenient and a little gem! The host sent me lots of helpful information, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The place was also very clean. It's a small studio-type accommodation, and even with our 14-year-old son, it was comfortable to stay in. The kitchen area is tiny but well-equipped — it actually reminded me of my old apartment in Japan, haha. We'd love to come back. It's a really comfortable place!

A step away from terraces with lively music and entertainment, yet on a quiet backstreet. Safe, intimate, cozy place, a nice green balcony, and a very helpful host (Marily), whom I want to send my best wishes and thanks for everything. I appreciated the welcome treats. Easy check in and no stressful check out. I really hope to come back. The heating system might be improved, although that was not a big issue.

• Radek CB (9/5): Bohatě vybavený, čistý, útulný apartmán v klidné lokalitě pár kroků od centra - Klidná lokalita, ale přesto na dosah od hlavního rušného centra (Psiri, Monastiraki, hlavní tržnice) i historických památek - vše v dosahu pěšky. Apartmán v 5.patře, možno využít moderní výtah. Bohatě a prakticky zařízené vybavení apartmánu včetně malé kuchyňky. Vše čisté, bez parazitů. Součástí je také útulný krytý menší balkon s bočním výhledem na Akropoli. Naprosto fantastická komunikace s paní majitelkou Marily. I když jsme se osobně nestřetli, dostali jsme spoustu praktických tipů pro pobyt v Athénách. Check-in i check-out bezproblémový, přes číselné kódy.

• Lennie (8/5): Convenient and safe accommodation. - Prior to arrival, I received very helpful information from the host...the most I have ever received from anyone. Thank you! The accommodation is located in an exciting neighborhood with numerous eating and shopping opportunities almost at your doorstep besides those in the Athens area. Fitted sheets on the bed. I was always "fighting" them. More than two towels for a 6 night stay. Fewer decorative items that seemed to add clutter. Suggestion: include photo of main door with pre check-in information. The area looks a bit run-down and off putting at first. However, as a senior, female, solo traveler I never felt in danger.

• Kaio (10/5): Amazing place that I’d definitely go back to if I wanted a place to stay in Athens! - The property is close to the main tourist things you’d like to do! The street may perhaps look daunting at night but I felt very safe outside at night and just a short walk down is the lively area so I never felt too isolated. It is convenient and safe. The room itself has just what you need so you may rest, shower, charge your devices and head back out into the city. Also close to the metro station which is very convenient. Nothing! Everything went perfectly!

• Katrina (9/5): Excellent contact and attention to detail from owner - The property was in a great location. It was a 2 minute walk to restaurants and bars. We did not physically meet the owner (Marily), but I feel we know her. Before we arrived, she sent us very comprehensive information on location onhow to access premise and all tourist attractions in Athens. She also kept in contact during our stay. Athens is a big and very busy city.

It's nearby metro and lots of restaurants, plus so much music and good vibes around. Marily was so helpful to make my stay as best as possible with lots of advice and tips on everything needed. A delicious sour cheery jusice waited in the fridge after I checked in plus some small snacks. Much appreciated, I always like these small touches. Hope to return soon! Nothing to complain about. The neighborhood is safe, the windows are insulated so no noise from outside. Didn't had any problems with my accommodation or the surrounding area

L' host molto gentile ha sempre risposto alle nostre richieste ed ha dato tanti consigli sulle cose da visitare, i luoghi dove mangiare e su come muoversi. La stanza è come nelle foto ed il balcone pieno di piante e piacevole. Come succede ad Atene, appena esci dalle strade turistiche sembra di entrare nelle bidonvillas. Così pur essendo a pochi metri da Psiri, vivace, piena di locali e taverne, con musica suonata in strada, l' alloggio si trova in una strada fatiscente, con edifici cadenti, fondi abbandonati. L' ingresso è dignitoso, l' ascensore, rispetto ad altri visti, moderno e ben tenuto. Il nostro appartamento si trovava al 5 piano, porta blindata moderna ma davanti all' ingresso due bagni divelti con porte scardinate e corridoio fatiscente.

• M (10/5): - I had a great stay at this apartment over the weekend. It was very well located, spotlessly clean, and the host was extremely friendly. Communication was excellent with quick responses at all times, along with helpful tips that made my stay even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Once you're in the building, avoid walks to the left side of the street. Go to the right where you find cafes, restaurants, bars.

• Bradley (10/5): Fabulous Stay in Athens! - We enjoyed a fabulous stay here. Our host Marily was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process through to the check out process. She really is a credit to herself. The location is ideally located in the Psiri area with the amenities on offer there whilst the centre of Athens and Monastiraki are a 10 minute walk away. You can also see the Acropolis in all its glory from the balcony. The room has everything you can possibly need, and we particularly enjoyed the homely and colourful vibe. We won't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Athens. Noise from the adjacent apartments at late times of night kept my partner awake, but I know there is nothing that can be done about that as they are Air BnBs.

First, our host sent us detailed information regarding location, restaurants we should visit, food that we should try, suggestion regarding bakery, open market...everything, so we were delighted! Metro station Monastriaki is on 10 min away. Sintagma square is 15 min away.The room was wonderful, sunny, enough space, had all toiletries, towels and sugar candies :-) And the balcony was a great surprise - sunny with the view to Parthenon! We were in the middle of Psiry quarter, with wonderful cafés with live music, wonderful food and drink, however our studio was in a quiet part of the street (so good to rest after a day full of experience in beautiful Athens). Also, in the fridge, we had cold water, ice cubes, liqueur and snacks -:) So when we come again in Athens, we will definitely plan to stay at Sunny studio with Parthenon view! Just keep up with this good work! Absolutely exceptional

The apartment is perfectly located, close to all restaurant and vibrant area of Monastiraki. The Acropolis entrance is just 18min on foot, which is just perfect. The area felt very safe and it was very quiet during the night. It is amazing that you are very close to all bars and restaurants and at the same time you can rest at night without being disturbed by the noise. I highly recommend this appartment if you’re looking for a centrally located place in a safe area (especially if you are traveling with kids)
• Vassilis (10/5): Perfect!! - We went out for breakfast but it was very easy to make a coffee. Bathroom was excellent. The balcony also was very cosy and nice. Very smart use of the available space. Very easy to go out and come back. And very clean. I also find easily parking on the road. And Marily is the perfect hostess. everything was excellent. I suggest a rearrangement of the chairs on the balcony because of the air-conditioning external unit. also a hanger on the back of the bathroom door will be very useful. and one notice that maybe is important: during our return, the elevator was stack on the 6th floor and was not operating. I went up to check and somebody has lift up the small wheel on the top of the elevator door, keeping it open. I push it inside and close it. Just to take care about it.

The apartment also had wonderful amenities like cabinet stalked with basic coffee and tea, board games and even guide books. • Dace (10/5): Good place for Athens trip - The Studio is in a very good location: metro to the airport about 300 meters, Psirri Square, where you can eat, drink and listen music - about 100 meters, Acropolis - 20 minutes by foot. Very good place if you want to see Athens. The Studio itself is comfortable and cozy. The 5th floor by lift. The kitchen area is small, but enough to prepare a small breakfast/lunch. Cozy balcony. Check-in and check-out takes place without the presence of the host - everything through codes. Marily is a responsive host! Before arrival, she sent information on how to find accommodation more easily, about places to visit, about shopping. Responds quickly to messages/questions on the booking site. Recommend! The street on which the Studio is located is exotic - lots of graffiti. If you put clothes, especially white clothes on shelves in the wardrobe, check the dust - in windy weather, the wind carries dust and leaves quickly into the room.
• Robert (10/5): A must stay in the very centre of Athens with parking nearby. - The location is a must see, The stay is worthwhile just to be in the throbbing heart of Athens, The host provided everything we needed to know about how to enter the apartment by bookings.com messages, She also provided a great deal of useful information about sight seeing, food and a great safe parking station 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The unit is comfortable and cosy with limited benchtop space but everything you need is there. There is a small balcony where we had breakfast. Being in very centre of Athens the streets are dirty and the building entrance is not too impressive, But once inside there is a lift to the floor and inside the unit is a comfortable, homley refuge from the busy streets of Athens. The unit is big enough to be comfortable.
• Irena (10/5): FANTASTIC STUDIO WITH GREAT HOST MARILY - I`ve travelled a lot and this is one of the best stay including some hotels...My son and I had a great 4 days in Athens at Sunny studio thanks in part to Marily. Marily is a true example of how the host of any apartment that welcomes guests from all over the world should behave. Marily could very easily be the general manager of a big hotel and do a great job! Communication all 4 days is excellent. Detailed information sent before arrival about everything that tourists are interested in. How to get to the studio, how to enter, how to use the studio, tourist attractions that should be visited, restaurants, bakeries and pastry shops that should be visited, markets, shopping... There is Google and a way to do all that ourselves, but the approach that Marily has towards his guests has a human side and means a lot. The studio itself is great. On the 5th floor with an elevator. Small but enough for 3 people no problem, with one baby (there is a crib). Beautifully decorated, clean, functional, with a beautiful terrace and a view of the Acropolis on one side. Small kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee, tea. There is no TV (which is absolutely not a problem for us). There are 4 WiFi signals you can use - they are not very fast, but they work. The studio is located in a relatively ugly building, but it didn't matter to us, because otherwise everything works. The street itself is a little run down, but as far as we can see, the whole of Athens in the city center is like that. The building is located literally 50 meters from Psiri square, which is beautiful with several restaurants, garden cafes, bakeries, pastry shops, etc... So even if you have a bad feeling when you leave the building, 1 minute later you enter the magical world of Psiri and the Athenian party. I hope we will visit Athens again and we will definitely contact Marily again. Many greetings for her.

• Ian (10/5): We’ll be back!! - Marily was an EXCEPTIONAL host. Very accommodating to an early arrival with the opportunity to store luggage before official check in. Also provided info for our stay in things to do, see, places to eat etc. She even encouraged us to contact her for anything. She allowed for luggage storage post our check out time which was great since we had one last site we wanted to see before heading to the airport. I can say she made an exception for us since in her pre-arrival email, she suggested a place to store luggage. Her communication with us throughout was great and it was as of she were right beside us in providing her advice. The studio is in walking distance to everywhere! We’ll definitely be back there next time we’re in Athens! For those new to Athens, walking down the street to get to the studio was interesting. Not scary but it looks like it could be sketchy. Lots of graffiti all over. The gate to the complex seemed like it was more for an industrial area. Elevator broke down during our second day there. Luckily it’s easier to take lushes down five flights rather than have to haul it up five flights. Workers are there on other floors making noise promptly at 9am. These items have absolutely no bearing on Marily as a host. Just wanted to put it out there if you’re considering a near term trip. Of course this can all be rectified as soon as we left so YMMV.

She is very informative, easy to work with and geniunely cares about your stay. The flat itself is adorable, the theming is great. The balcony is not to be missed and the AC is wonderful. Location is great, Psirri is safe for tourists and within walking distance to all of the sites. I would absolutely stay here again Nothing, this was honestly a fabulous stay. The bed was a little hard for my taste but I think this is just a personal preference.

• Florinela (10/5): I would come here again if I will travel to Athens. The location is great even if the street is not looking very well bu - The studio was very nice, had everything you need. Great view and good location. The host is the best I have ever had in Greece and not only. The building is not looking so nice but for us was no issue.
• Bernard (9/5): Excellent location and well-furnished studio - The host is very nice, and she helped me with a couple of specific questions that I asked. The studio itself is well-furnished but compact, and there is a balcony where you can indeed see the Acropolis. Bed was comfortable. The location of the studio is very central, about 6 minutes from Monastiraki Square (where the touristy stuff and the metro to the airport are located), but still far enough that it is quiet here. There are some nice (and touristy) restaurants between the studio and Monastiraki Square. You can easily walk to Monastiraki, and onward to the archaeological sites. The stovetop and sink area is a bit tight - water from the sink often gets around the stovetop, and stove control knobs were a bit hard to reach because they were between a wall and the stove. The building in which the studio is located and the immediate vicinity is a little sketchy, though when I was staying there I saw that they were refurbishing the lower floors into something much nicer. Once you get to the restaurants (around 2 mins walk toward Monastiraki), it isn't sketchy anymore. Walking to the apartment from Monastiraki is much more pleasant than walking from Omonia. There are two WiFi networks - the first one was kinda unreliable and the second one was acceptable (as long as you aren't uploading a huge amount of data, e.g. syncing photos). However, the second one died for a few hours on my second-last day, which forced me to use the unreliable network.

• Sabine (9/5): Perfect little place for a couple of days in Athens - Great little place in a perfect location. We loved all the little quirky things to make the place special. The bed was too hard for our taste and for the acropolis view from the balcony you really have to make an effort :).
