• Clément (9/5): Logement très agréable avec une localisation idéale en plein coeur de Plaka - Martin, qui s'occupe de l'accueil, est très agréable et donne plein de petits conseils pour profiter au mieux de la ville. Gros + pour les francophones : Martin parle français. L'emplacement du logement est idéal, situé dans Plaka, qui donne accès à tous les lieux touristiques très rapidement (10mn à pied de l'Acropole, 15mn du musée de l'Acropole, 15mn de la place de Monastiraki). Très bien équipé avec de quoi vivre confortablement pour plusieurs jours. Possède une machine à laver si besoin. Environnement très calme autour du logement. Nous avions déjà un moyen de rejoindre le logement depuis l'aéroport, mais notre hôte nous a proposé de louer un taxi à ses frais. Bémol sur la luminosité dans le logement la nuit : quelques LED illuminent les murs, il faut prévoir un masque si on est sensible à la lumière. Egalement, le logement étant situé proche du quartier antique, les canalisations ne sont pas en capacité d'accueillir du papier toilette, il faut donc utiliser la douchette et jeter le papier dans une poubelle à côté des WC.

Martín y Elías son maravillosos, prestos todo el tiempo por si requieres algo, supieron que estaba indispuesta de salud y ambos llamaron a saber cómo estaba y a recomendarme qué comprar, estuvieron pendientes. Enviaron a Yunnis (taxista) para recogernos y llevarnos al aeropuerto, este es un servicio que hay que pagar por aparte, y fue encantador. Definitivamente son un trío maravilloso Martin, Elias y Yunnis!

• Fred (9/5): Great location. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping and sights. Both Martin and Elias were nice, he - The location, cleanliness, kitchen and that it had a laundry machine. Jus FYI- For those with mobility issues, they might have a challenge carrying/climbing up three stories of steps to reach the apartment.

It had everything you need for short to long stays. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming and happy to answer any questions. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Getting to the apartment was therefore easy and absolutely stress-free, which is a big plus after a long journey. • Demetre (10/5): Exceptional - The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Athens, steps from the Acropolis and all the best streets, yet tucked away enough to stay blissfully quiet. The studio itself is and super cozy. But what made my whole trip was Martin and Elias! Simply the best hosts you could ask for: warm, patient, and always ready with perfect local recommendations, tips and lightning‑fast, friendly answers. They turned a fantastic Trip into something truly unforgettable! I have never have had Such Friendly and Amazing hosts! Super Recommended! My only complaint? They set the bar so high every other host might feel like they won't be able to catch up, ultimate proof of how awesome they are!

Martin met us at the door after arranging a car for us from the airport, and then helped us carry out luggage up to the apartment. Everything was as described and wonderful. Loved the Murphy bed! The apartment is 52 steps up from the street, so be prepared! But my 68 year old knees withstood the test. We would certainly stay there again if we return.

• Terry (8/5): Very good - The hosts were amazingly responsive and helpful and the location was perfect! They arranged a trustworthy and, very prompt, kind, taxi driver to pick us up at the airport. He was so reliable that we also booked him for our return trip after the cruise. The stairs were a bit of a challenge in the heat but Martin was very available to help carry our luggage. Extremely helpful!

• Kris (10/5): Don't hesitate, book this today if you can. - 10/10. Super close to restaurants, gift shops, and attractions. Martin met me at the door when I told him my arrival time, and showed me the place like an AirBnB. Gave me tips where to eat and where to watch the sunset (best advice thanks for that!). It's a great studio apartment with all the amenities you need for a long or short stay. Bed was comfy and room stays nice and dark all morning if you want it to. Both hosts were easy to reach via whatsapp and very responsive. Would 100% book here again. Can't say anything that would have made it better, but just know there's about 50 stairs to the 3rd floor here, just fyi.
• Emily (10/5): The best place to book in Athens - One of my favorite Airbnb rentals on my 6 week trip. Best location - central to everything while still being in a quiet neighborhood. Martin was nice in greeting me, so welcoming in showing me where things were around the neighborhood from the roof, and Elias was so responsive via WhatsApp. The apartment was so great - having a full kitchen was amazing, real freezer in the fridge, washer worked great, water pressure in shower amazing. AC worked well, Smart TV was nice to have. A plus was an iron and full length mirror 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 All in all, will absolutely book again when I come back to Athens. Thank you so much!!! Nothing!

• Gregory (9/5): Everything you need for a stay in Plaka and Athens in general. - The perfect location as a base for exploring Athens. Centrally located in Plaka but on a quiet street with a small square and a must visit coffeeshop steps away. In less than 2 minutes, you are among the shops and restaurants of the area. Metro stops close by. Walking distance to the Acropolis. This apartment is one of two offered by Martin and Elias. Very well equipped with everything you need should you want to prepare meals at home. The pull down Murphy bed was a pleasant surprise. Super comfortable and conveniently folded away for the day. Wonderful hosts ready to assist in any way both in person and via WhatsApp. Excellent communication regarding location and specifics of the apartment. A/C kept the apartment at the ideal temperature. Please note the guide books and maps for use as well.
• Ayu (10/5): Location, location and location - Great location—center of main activity, safe, comfortable, very quiet. Martin kindly waited for me to explain about the property. I used a taxi service to get there, which had a fixed rate. At the time, a movie was being filmed outside the property. It's centrally located for activities but faces a small, quiet road—one dead end with pedestrian-only access, while the other is a small street a couple of blocks away from the main road. The Plaka shopping center (stores, cafes, and restaurants) is just a minute's walk from the property. Additionally, I did a bike tour, which was also 5 minutes from the property—very safe and quiet. I had the best sleep there.

Its located near to all famous attractions of the city, most of them are at walking distance. 10 mins walk from Syntagma metro station. The accommodation is very well maintained and all necessary amenities are available. Value for money.

No bright light shining in at night. Plenty of fresh air. 2 Huge windows. Shopping market was 3 minutes away. After stayed 8 weeks in lots of different apartments in Greece, This apartment had the best shower I mentioned to Elais something about the kitchen which he indicated that he would remedy- so will not mention here.

The sheets and towels did not smell well, it seems that the apartment was cleaned many days before. Moreover, from the photos it was that evident that there is no bedroom and the bed was in the living room up at the wall.

The location is really convenient, in the center of the beautiful district of Plaka, just walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Syngtama square is only 10 min away, and Akropolis just around the corner!! The apartment is located on the third floor; it is really cozy, very clean and contains all the amenities and comfort someone can wish for a city stay! Communication with our host was also really good. We will definitely stay there again if ever we come back to Athens. Absolutely no negative point at all

The host was very attentive, however, I could not struggle with the high temperature and humidity during that night. I could not sleep at all. Comfortable pillows are needed.

The apartment is located in a great area, walking distance from all attractions. The apartment was clean and had everything you needed. Only downfall was no elevator and it is located on the 3rd floor. We didn’t mind that though, but important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again!

The main archeological sites were at a 5-10 min walking distance and it was also very good connected with buses and the underground for exploring other parts of the city. Staff was enormously helpful The only inconvenience is that it is a 3rd floor without elevator, which is a bit of a nuisance if you carry heavy luggage

• Jamie (9/5): Overall an excellent experience staying at the studio with strategic location, professional host. - The location is ideal - right in the middle of the city, Plaka town and within walking distance of the most important attractions. Very helpful and responsive host. Decent size kitchenette and bathroom with washing machine. Comfortable and nicely fitted Murphy bed and minimalist yet stylish decor. Very good lighting and a lot of power sockets. There is nothing we don't like about the studio apartment. Everything worked just fine. It was a bit of a stair to climb but not really an issue. Perhaps we could use some hangers for drying clothes.
• Pratyay (9/5): Superb - This facility is run by two wonderful gentleman Martin and Elias. On the day of arrival , Martin was waiting for us and helped us with our suitcase . Elias was constantly in touch to check if everything is fine . The room is a small studio with a Murphy bed and suitable for 2 person .The kitchenette had the basic utensils. Bathroom was well equipped too. We had couple of trivial questions which was immediately addressed.Great hospitality. Highly recommended. Nothing as such .

Apartment had all the facilities a traveller could expect. Martin understands a traveller's needs. An excellent area and minutes walk to Acropolis and metro station. Nothing.

• Joanamff (9/5): Perfect location in Athens! - The perfect location! It is right at the edge of Plaka, meaning it is super close to the center, walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, the subway and the acropole, but still in a quiet location, away from the big buzz! It was easy to find and Martin was there waiting for us at check-in. We did not use the door app because he provided us with the keys. We also kept in close contact with Elias, very nice and very available. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and the small kitchen is very convenient. Internet worked well. It's a small but really nice place! Nothing major to point out. Be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs (no elevator), and although there is no noise from the street, you can hear the neighbours, but no big deal. To be perfect it's only missing a balcony or a better view!

The location was very quiet but very close to the Acropolis and Plaka! This is a perfect location when visiting all of the highlights in Athens! We cannot say enough about our host! We was excellent! He was always available for any questions that we had! We would definitely stay here again! We would highly recommend this studio to others! Nothing! It was perfect!

The bathroom was clean and had all we needed. It is difficult to understand from the pics provided, but both windows had shutters, so one can sleep in total darkness. We stayed for a week and could stay for one more, so definitely worth staying, and value for money for sure!

• Mark (10/5): Perfect accommodation for a short getaway in Athens - It was great staying at Martin's Acropolis Studio. What you see on the pictures is what you get, a clean, cosy flat with lots of amenities. It's bang in the middle of Athens (Plaka) so all the main attractions are within a stone's throw. If I needed anything Elias was always available to help which was much appreciated. Can't think of anything negative to say about this place.

• Yunjung (10/5): Exceptional - I was there with my boyfriend and the location and facility was all amazing. We had a really cozy time. The key was given through the app but it's just new and pretty comfy for me anyway. Furthermore host was reallly responsive. It doesn't have an elevator so you should go up stairs with the luggage. But that's what it is.
