• Philip (10/5): A quiet, clean apartment close to many major attractions. - Great location for Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Ancient Forum and Plaka (particularly the quieter parts away from the bustle). Despite the central location, the apartment is quiet (apart from the magpies!), looking on to a small square. If you do not have too much luggage, transit to and from the airport -- or Piraeus -- via subway to Syntagma is easy. Aliki was an excellent host with great communication. She recommends good local restaurants. Nothing.

Check-In was easy with good support. Special requests (done at the time of booking) were met. Good value for money. No cleaning service for a 4-night stay. Need maintenance of the apartment (floor). No replenishment of tea/coffee at all for 4 days. Electricity outage at the time of arrival (lift not working).
• Holly (9/5): Perfect Place in Plaka - The location was perfect for walking to the major sights in Athens. The neighborhood, Plaka, is filled with restaurants, stores....it is well lit, safe and lovely. The Manager, Aliki, was an excellent communicator. She arranged a driver to pick us up from Airport; made arrival so less stressful. It is a very quiet area; we slept well each night. We did not find any negatives.

Easy to get in to the 3rd floor apartment. Felt very safe in this busy area. Very comfortable cosy apartment. We were happy with what was on offer. We needed the apartment to relax at the end of the day after busy tours. Net curtains needs an upgrade.

• Mengyao (10/5): - The host is sooooooooo nice. We are allowed to storage our luggages so we can visit viewpoints easily and freely. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable and good location. It is very near to the temple of Zeus and Acropolis. Thank a lot to the host and the beautiful apartment we have great memories in Athens.

• Helen (10/5): - Awesome location in the city Athens. Parthenon and restaurants are in walking distance. The weather was really hot, we were able to rest at the apartment between activities. The heater for shower wasn't turned on and we were not being told. The landlord was quickly responded by the phone to solve the problem right away. It wasn't a big of deal.

It was in the 100s when we stayed and the AC kept the place cool, which was very important. A perfect spot with everything you need to explore Athens.

The view from the balcony was wonderful! Kitchen had all the amenities, including a great coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable and the building was nice and quiet.

The place was perfect for us — centrally located yet very quiet, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. It’s just a short walk to the Acropolis, the National Gardens, and all major points of interest in Athens. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, and even arranged a late-night airport transfer for us, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

The heating system sounded like we were in a waterfall at times. The shower head really needs a bracket about head height, such an easy fix would save so many of the negative comments.!

• Keran (8/5): Good choice for a stay in Athens - The location of the property was excellent. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and the air conditioning did manage to keep the apartment cool in the 37 degree heat. Access to the apartment was easy - less than 15 minutes walk from the station and we picked up the keys from the cafe in the corner. The host was responsive and efficient. The kitchen, albeit quite well equipped, was so small that preparing any meal other than breakfast would have been quite a challenge. The shower in the bathroom was a hand held shower head with no wall bracket which meant we had to hold the shower head to wet ourselves down, put down the shower head and turn off the water, soap up, then pick up the shower head and turn the water back on to rinse off. Would have made such a difference to simply have a fixed bracket to actually use the shower head as a normal shower.

• Juan (10/5): Perfect location, great host, lovely apartment. - Location is perfect, close to the Acropolis and convenient to walk around Plaka, quiet area, nice view from the balcony, the apartment is very comfortable equipped with everything you need, our host Aliki went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, a bottle of wine! and courtesy water were available when we arrived. Aliki was always available and communicated efficiently. Definitely recommend this property when visiting Athens. We liked everything.

• Kristina (8/5): We had a great stay and the location far outweighed any small issues with the place. - Fabulous location in the plaka - still quiet but easy to get to shops and restaurants, as well as attractions. Alika was accommodating and helped us arrange transportation from and to the airport, as well as letting us leave our luggage for a time after checkout until our taxi arrived. The mattress is past its prime and could stand to be replaced. Completely my fault as it’s shown in the pictures and I just didn’t consider it - but you have to hold the shower piece in your hand to shower. This could be an issue for guests with shoulder/arm or back issues. There were some things we didn’t understand about the property when we first got there - like how the key works, how to turn on the A/C, how to put the roller shades up and down. Notes on these things would have been helpful.

Direct underground connection to airport from a nearby station. bed matrass is two soft for us, but someone might prefer this. No idea of any negative comment:)

• Kimmo (9/5): Excellent location in Plaka, quiet room, helpful hostess - Perfect location in cozy Plaka area, close to main attractions; Acropolis, sightseeing bus stop, National Garden, just to mention. Surrounded by restaurants and shops, also very close to metro station. The hostess was very helpful, offering also some complimentary things during our stay! The room is light and we were pleased with the balcony, very good bathroom and comfortable bed. The kitchen is tiny, but still offering all you need during your stay. The comfortable sofa is even too soft for sitting and would need some vacuuming under the pillows. Otherwise very clean room.
• Ritesh (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location! Many people I spoke to about Greece said Athens was just a transit necessity but other parts of Greece are better. With my experience with this apartment, its great location, and the amazing food options near by, I disagree. Aliki was fantastic and helped coordinate a car for pickup at the airport and taking us to the ferry port at the wee hours of the morning (driving directly to the apartment on streets I didn't even realize cars could drive down). She provided a great list of restaurant recommendations as well. The air conditioning was a welcome reprieve to escape the hot afternoons, which you can easily do because the place is so centrally located. Overall the apartment is small for an apartment (by US standards), but large compared to a hotel room and has everything you need so size was not an issue for us. The kitchen really only comfortably fits 1 person doing anything, but had more appliances and necessities than larger kitchens we had along the trip. I will recommend this place to any of my friends and would happily return if I find myself back in Athens. Bonus: the elevator was working for limited weight when we were originally told it was broken at the time of booking, so no need to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs. The blinds where a little challenging for us to figure out, but a lady across the way saw us struggling and mimed how to close them. :)

• Guy (10/5): Charming, classical apartment in quiet area of old town - Excellent location on quiet residential square in Plaka with no restaurants below to disturb you. Old worldly and charming decor. Great balcony overlooking an old church in the square. And yet steps away from everything you want. Coffee shop next door to pick up fresh orange juice in morning. The hostess, Aliki, was wonderful. So helpful with restaurant reservations, airport transfers, ect. We loved this place. Nothing really. The apartment was on the third floor. We used the little elevator to get our bags up. We were asked to use it sparingly unless absolutely necessary. I think because the neighbours were elderly and require it. This was no problem for us as we’re walkers. If you need it, it’s there.

Flowers and nice bottle of wine on the table. Comfy lounge and Netflix. Beautiful renovated bathroom with big shower. Aliki was waiting for me on arrival, very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would have liked is a bracket to hang up the shower head so you can stand under the shower.

The location was perfect - in the tourist area, close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Our host was excellent responding promptly to all our questions and problems. Really didn’t want to leave after a wonderful week. Our host was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. • Tharada (10/5): Exceptional - I was traveling alone so I tried to find accommodation in safe neighborhoods where I can just walk to the main attractions of Athens without using the metro and this place is perfect! Great value. The actual place was as shown in the pictures. There is also an elevator which is really convenient! It is in a really nice area, just few steps and you are on the shopping street of Plaka. I felt really safe in the area. I also booked taxi transfer through Aliki. The driver was really polite, nice, and on-time. Everything went smoothly from checking in to checking out. This place has a really nice cozy vibe and very spacious. It has everything you need!!! I felt right at home. I was greeted by the cleaner since Aliki is not available when I was checking in, but the cleaner was also really nice and welcoming. She helped me with the luggage too! I just loved everything about this place. Would totally recommend this!!! Hopefully, I’ll have a chance to come back to Athens and stay at this place again :)

• Mihaela (10/5): Live the full athenian experience - We enjoyed a lot the elegance of the apartment that was also very cozy, functional and quiet. Being situated at 3rd floor, nearby a centuries-old church (Agia Ekaterini) with a small enclosed garden, the view from the balcony is lovely up to the hills in the distance. Athens in april is a bliss and this accomodation contributed a lot to enjoy it: marvelous early mornings on the the balcony in bird cirping, discret flowers' perfumes, zipping coffee and witnessing the gentle waking up of the city. Everything is around the corner (literally), from the coffe & breakfast boutique and farmacy downstairs to the commercial streets and tavernas in Plaka, the entrance to the Acropolis site and museum and to the Hadrian Gate and the Temple of Zeus. Our host, Aliki, was so nice and helpful, asking all the time if we need anything else and made us discover some good tavernas and restaurants in the area.

• Robyn (9/5): Great place to stay, highly recommend! - Great location, very close to the acropolis and Olympian. Host was very helpful, accommodated early check in, booked transfer to the airport for us and even helped us when we got lost on arrival. Unfortunately the lift broke whilst we were there, this wasn't a major issue and obviously out of the host's control but is something to consider if you require easy access, as this did make getting our luggage down the stairs on the last day difficult.
