Guest Reviews
- April Joy (10/5): - We love the location of this property! Everything about it is just perfect! Highly recommended! Absolutely Nothing
- Helen (10/5): - Location and balcony. Fly screens on doors would be helpful

- Laura (9/5): - Nice spacious apartment. Great location. The apartment was very clean, and the housekeeper did a very thorough job with the cleaning. However, we were very disappointed to discover that some of our personal belongings had been thrown away during our stay.
A teenager in our family had left a paper bag containing several receipts, along with a brand-new cosmetic product, on her bedside table when we left the apartment. Unfortunately, the housekeeper had apparently mistaken these personal items for trash and disposed of them.
When we contacted the host to inquire about this, his response was unexpectedly rude, and he blamed us for being “too messy,” which we found inappropriate and unprofessional.
This whole experience was unpleasant and felt offensive. A cleaner should never throw away a guest’s personal belongings — not even papers or receipts — without clear permission.

- Joanne (10/5): Located in a vibrant area of Athens, close to shopping, the parthenon, the stadium and much more . - The location was in a safe vibrant part of town. We did have to walk with our luggage to the front door, because the taxi couldn't take us all the way due to the narrow streets. It was a little difficult to find, but google maps helped us out. Like alot of older areas you aren't supposed to flush the toilet paper. A bit disspleasing, but we adapted.
- Genevieve (7/5): -
- Melanie (10/5): - Location amazing, the lounge and dining area was spacious and light and bright. Would recommend.
- Melaynie (10/5): Location and size of apartment is excellent, right in the heart of Plaka. - The location is excellent, right below the apartment is an abundance of restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to fantastic attractions like Acropolis, Syntagma Square, national gardens, Panathenaic Stadium and museums. Apartment is old (to be expected), but extremely spacious, well maintained and clean. Nothing really, it was all great.
- Marion (10/5): Great place to stay in the heart of everything in Plaka - If you read previous reviews, it says it all… a lovely apartment in a superb location.
We were 4 friends sharing and it worked brilliantly. It was very well equipped and very clean. The communication with Konstantinos was excellent, and his flexibility with check out time was much appreciated. We loved our stay. Nothing… yes it’s a bit jaded in parts but that’s maybe reflected in the price. We loved it regardless.
The only thing I would say is to bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise… not from the restaurants and bars etc, but from what we think was a very noisy aircon unit next door.
- Martin (8/5): - Location and space in the apartment Not much. Thin see through curtains.
- Matina (10/5): -
- Gabriela (10/5): - El departamento es precioso y muy comodo Nada
- Tammy (9/5): Would happily stay here again. - I chose this apartment for the location and it did not disappoint. In a beautiful old building, (the apartment is on level 2 or 3 - I can't remember) with a balcony overlooking a gorgeous square below with restaurants. We loved sitting outside at night on the balcony, listening to the buzz of conversation but had no trouble with noise during the night. It is right in the centre of Plaka meaning so easy to go in and out for shopping and eating throughout the day/ night and easily retreat for siesta. It does not have a view of the acropolis but is an easy 5 minute walk to the entry and museum. As previous reviews have said the apartment is ageing, however, we loved the charm and feel of it as so many other guests have. The owner was excellent with communication and helped me organise a transfer to and from airport, as well as no stress with keys/ entry as we were met on site and shown through the apartment. Pillows weren't great.
- Joan (10/5): Outstanding location, great space for large groups, everything you need for a perfect stay in Athens - The location on Kidathinion was outstanding, directly above a lovely plaza with restaurants and shopping in every direction, but quiet when we needed to sleep at night. One step out the door and you are in the heart of Plaka! Five minutes to walk to Acropolis Museum and about the same distance to Syntagma in the other direction. We loved the layout of the apartment with private bedrooms, two of which shared their own bathroom and were behind another door, which provides privacy and quiet if others are still moving around the living areas. This was very much appreciated for our family of 7. We appreciated the large desk that my husband used to set up his computer for work issues that arose when we were staying in Athens. The master bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen amenities were excellent and we were able to eat some meals in the house, with a grocery store a couple minutes away to buy food. The host Konstantinos was extremely responsive to an issue that arose while we were there, which we really appreciated. All in all, this is an excellent find in the middle of everything you want to do in Athens! While this is not a complaint about the property amenities, I would suggest a refresh to the bathroom floors, which were peeling and stuck to the feet when wet. We were also never able to use the TV or Wifi, which did not work while we were there. This could have been a real problem for my husband, but fortunately, he was able to use his hotspot to work on his computer, as he had an active work matter to deal with while we were there. I would suggest placing a document in the property with explicit instructions on how to use the TV, rather than leaving two remote controls and expecting tenants to figure it out.
- Joann (8/5): It was a lovely stay, we enjoyed our time. - The place was spacious and it was a convenient location. Showers could be redone, there was some mold in the corners and they were peeling. Large rug at the front door was a tripping hazard.
- Loreto (10/5): Best place to stay in the city centre - Location, furniture and it was very clean Nothing
- Uri (10/5): אירוח מושלם - אהבנו הכל, המיקום מדהים. הדירה מאובזרת בכל מה שצריך הכל עובד נקי ונעים. מעוצב מקסים מרווח ומקבל.
- Paraskevi (6/5): We had stayed at this property a few years ago and liked it very much however, it requires a lot of updating and mainten - The property is in a great location and is very spacious. There are many restaurants and shops and is centrally located to all the sites. The bathrooms in particular, are in very poor condition, paint peeling, floor cracks, etc. The kitchen sink was also broken. The carpet to the entrance is very old and rolling up and is a hazard. A power outage that lasted half a day may have caused the refrigerator to leak and there was water all over the kitchen floor. It was not as clean as it could be.
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Great location, spacious unit. Highly recommend
- Janelle (10/5): Wonderful - Clean, spacious and excellent location
- Pavan (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - The place was clean. The host communicated with us promptly and clearly. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable and it was great to have a washing machine with a dryer. The location was perfect! Multiple restaurants right outside for when we were feeling lazy and easy to explore the city in multiple directions. The bathroom floors and walls had some peeling, but it didn't affect our stay.
- Sally (8/5): Great location, central to everything, plenty of space for a large family. - Amazing location, very generous size, large rooms. Lots of period charm The bathrooms need upgrading especially the showers floors and tiles in bathrooms. The televisions didn’t work but to be honest we didn’t spend much time inside as we walked around Athens most of the time but would have been nice for the tv to work for a bit of quiet time at the end of the day.
- Veroniquer (8/5): Very good -
- Ceyda (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is super!
- Dorota (10/5): This apartment is a delightful blend of nostalgia and charm, making it a lovely place to stay - The great location is a huge advantage. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated, while showing the marks of time, is undeniably charming and has aged gracefully. The character it possesses adds a unique warmth that modern spaces often lack. I would like to meet the person who chose the books for the apartment :). The apartment is not new and you can see the passage of time most prominently in the bathrooms, but it is still full of charm.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location in the heart of everything. Lively location, but quiet accommodation. The accommodation is very spacious. Would stay here again.
- Chryssoula (10/5): Definitely would stay here again. - Everything was smooth. Communication was easy before, during and after. Quick responses. It was right in the middle of the Plaka. I loved walking out and seeing gelato stands, shops and restaurants. No taxis would go to the door as it was in front of shops and pedestrians. No problem, taxi was just a quick 2 min walk away. The family loved the place. Had everything we needed.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great
Communication was amazing
Rooms were great sooo spacious
Would stay here again
- Dawne (10/5): Exceptional - This beautiful art deco apartment was furnished comfortably and with style but was not fussy. It was spacious for our group of 5 and could have held several more people easily. We stepped out our door onto a street that had numerous restaurant choices and access to shopping. The apartment had a door that locked to the space and also the outside door the to building locked to outside so that no one could walk in from the street without a key. We walked 6 minutes to our tour of the Acropolis. Our guide arranged rides for us from the airport and back again with drivers that we paid separately. Clean, clean, clean. We were there at a hot part of the summer and the air conditioning was more than efficient. I highly recommend this property.
- Kim (10/5): Fabulous. - This is a beautiful apartment. It is very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location Could not recommend it more. The host was also very obliging and happily assisted with our requests. Highly recommended. Nothing.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Brilliant location to base yourself from and explore the heart of Athens - As we lost instructions on how to enter property the host quickly made themselves available to help us into the property. It needed some more cookwear and a toaster. But, this is minor
- Giorgos (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect house. Like a great time travel.
- Arnaud (10/5): Exceptional - After a misunderstanding with the owner, the place was amazing.....
The deco, the accommodation, and the location are perfect for an unforgettable holiday.
I would recommend this place.
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful apartment in a beautiful place in the world. Very spacious and extremely clean. We felt relaxed and at home. Such a great vibe going on outside the apartment. You couldn’t find a better location.
- Spillane (9/5): Light and space wonderful - A hot day travelling from Meteora to Athens, walked into the apartment, and immediately relaxed. Wonderful space and light. Beds comfortable. Great easy links to supermarket provided. Verdana lovely for 2 to have coffee. Both children so happy too. We had booked a rooftop dinner and ended up cancelling to have dinner in the square under the apartment. We should have stayed longer. Hope to be back again. Thank you. Not a lot to dislike. The 2nd floor apartment wasn't too bad going upstairs with 10kg bags. The small internal (within the staircase, so looked lovely) was the main worry with kids, but all good thankfully. 20kg bag went into lift of course with one person.
- Paul (9/5): Fantastic stay in a very friendly city ! - Spacious, comfortable and great location close to restaurants & bars .
Konstantinos was very helpful and arranged transport ! Loved the speedy quaint lift 😀 Nothing
- Joy (10/5): A beautiful stay in a beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. - Location was perfect.
Apartment was perfect.
We had trouble with the TV and the host spent over an hour fixing it for us. He even went out to buy a new booster thing and brought it back immediately. Nothing was too much effort. Every thing was lovely.
- Adrienne (9/5): Lovely stay in Athens! - Location is amazing, centrally located with easy access to shops and restaurants in Plaka. The apartment was spacious for two families with young children. Very clean, the bathrooms were large and modern. Elevator access was especially convenient and a huge plus! Communication with the property manager was hit and miss but they did their best to accommodate for anything missed.
- George (10/5): Beautiful apt in the heart of the Plaka with great accessibility and amenities. - Very well located for easy access to the Acropolis and Plaka area. Extremely spacious and inviting. Large living room/ dining room with balconies overlooking the small plaza across the street. 2 full bathrooms and fill kitchen with laundry capability which we used. Unable to operate the TV in the living room - probably operator error, but there should have been some instructions or easy directions.
- Aleksandar (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Wow! We absolutely loved this beautiful apartment - Fabulous apartment. So beautifully decorated and huge! We all really loved this place - six women who agreed that if we were to return to Athens we would book this apartment again.
Wonderful views over the square. Location couldn’t have been better!
- Rebecca (10/5): My friends thought I was a superstar for booking this accommodation. - For our first experience of Athens this location was perfect! My friends thought I was a superstar for booking this accommodation. We had to wait for the key a little longer than expected but we could sit and order a cool drink while we waited just outside the door.
- Gerti (10/5): The best place in Plaka - The apartment is better than it looks in the pictures
The host is very responsive and has very good tips for restaurants Nothing, you will love it.
- Anonymous (10/5): perfect location and apartment - The location of the apartment is the best. Walking distance to everything and located with the balcony towards a cozy square with small restaurants and cafes. Also the apartment was really spacious, stylish and perfect for a group of 7 people visiting Athens for a long weekend nothing, everything was perfect!
- Sarit (9/5): Superb - A large and comfortable apartment, suitable for three couples.
Excellent location. Lovely balcony and beautiful view The two showers need renovation
- Dafna (9/5): I highly recommend it! Konstantinos was very nice and helpful. the location is perfect near restaurants, cafes, and shop - it was beautiful, cozy, clean and the location was great
- Ronen (8/5): I'm waiting to come back again! - The apartment is located great, with a beautiful piazza right below the small balcony.
The apartment is very big, with two modern bathrooms.
The kitchen is big and convenient (except for the oven which partially works). A lot of things in the apartment is a bit old, which results in very annoying squeaking noises from the floor, the closets, the bedroom and toilets doors, etc. If you are sensitive to noise - this may be problematic.
I was under the impression that there is view of the Acropolis from the apartment and this is not the case.
The oven works, but you cannot adjust the temperature (just on/off).
After staying in the apartment for 6 nights, I expected that the landlord would allow me to leave my luggage in the apartment until my flight, but he did not. There are several places to leave the luggage nearby, though.
- Anne (9/5): Superb - very clean
- Johanna (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect for first time visit to Athens. The glass on all the internal doors made it tricky with having a baby when anyone switched on a light during the night....
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Brody (10/5): great location right in the heart of Plaka. walking distance to all attractions - excellent location and very spacious
- Paraskevi (9/5): our stay was excellent . - location was excellent. host was very responsive. very spacious. great balcony view. unable to get the tv to work. stair case did not have light .
