• Claire (7/5): Ideal place to stay. - The amenities were good. Location was good. The host responded quickly to questions. The bed was small and the sofa bed was quite firm and your feet hang over the ridge at the bottom.

• Andriy (8/5): Nice apartment close to Shinjuku - Good location, 5 min walk to the train station, 1 stop away from Shinjuku. There is a convineince store in the bottom of the building which is perfect for supplies and ready meals. Great amenities - kitchen had everything we needed and there was a washer dryer. The communication with the owner was very fast and helpful. We have received very detailed instructions how to commute, get the access to the apartment. Sofa-bed was not very comfortable - it needs additonal matress. WiFi was keep hanging during out stay, which could be resolved by re-starting the router.

• Meagan (9/5): Homely, immaculate apartment - A lovely, recently renovated apartment a short walk from the train station (approximately 5-7 mins). It was clean and everything was in great working order. The host was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to store our luggage after our check out time. Everything in the apartment was spotless clean, everything looked brand new and we really appreciated the fridge, microwave and kettle. Bonus was the washing machine which allowed me to wash our clothes whilst there. There was also a supermarket next door to the building which was very convenient. The only downside was that comfort level of the pull out sofa, it was quite uncomfortable and you could feel a bar down the middle which made for not so great sleep. The other two beds (double and pull down single) were comfortable however. The only other thing to note is that this apartment is not in the main part of Shinjuku, it is about a 20 min walk or 5 min walk plus 1 subway stop.
• Leigh Watson (10/5): - Nice little place, they had some welcoming treats for us, including cold beer which is a massive plus after the long trip to get there from London. It is a short walk to 2 different train lines and plenty of restaurant and shop choices locally. We would highly recommend this place, it was perfect for a family of 3 Nothing

• Shweta (5/5): Not recommended for family. There was no reception. - Toilet, Shower and Laundry was in separate areas. Close to station. Even though we stayed more than 4 nights, no cleaning was offered by them. Rubbish on Street, even thoughI made clear we were 4 people, but there was not enough space in the apartment. There was only one extra bin bag provided for our 5 days stay.

• Amrita (8/5): - It’s extremely small. And beds in the bedroom wasn’t very comfortable. Bathroom was nice . Had tiny kitchen to meet the need. The staff were very accommodating. They let us checkin 9 AM ( extra fee ) early even though the checkin time was 3 pm. It was just extremely tiny.

• Michael (10/5): Excellent stay. We enjoyed it ! - The property was excellent ! Easy to find and very comfortable. Very close to the train stations made transit very easy ! There are trains near the property that may be bothersome. The host provides ear plugs. We didn’t use them nor was the sound bad for us ! That’s it !

Be prepared for a lot of noise. - It was easy to walk to the train station, having a washing machine is great, the Family Mart underneath the apartments was awesome The noise! Not from the train which I was expecting, but the non stop sirens. It really put a dampener on our stay. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all.

• Sandra (8/5): I would stay again. - The location was excellent - close to local trains and supermarkets and only a 20 minute walk to Shinjuku train station. The bed was the best I've slept in over 3 trips to Japan and 7 different accommodations. Although the room was small it had everything we needed. The view of Mt. Fuji from the balcony was a bonus. The room needs more storage for guests belongings. Also, seeing as there is no lounge it would have been good if the tv was on a swivelling wall bracket so we could sit on the bed and watch. The dining chairs were very uncomfotable for sitting for too long.

Plus it’s close to the popular area of Shinjuku. Plus the rooftop! Just gotta go and stay to experience it. How small it was. I’d stay here with MAX 3 people. I don’t know if rooms got any bigger but I chose it cause it did look spacious but that wasn’t the case. Other than that I do not mind it.

The shower was great, and the roof top area was brilliant. The grocery store at the street was very convenient. Property is close to passing trains, but double glazing helps with the noise.

• Jun (10/5): Very clean place. All facilities work like new. Location is great for getting around the town. - The facilities are very new. Air conditioning is good. Entrance of the building works well. Close to train station. Convenient store downstairs. Very comfortable. The sound from train passing by can be a problem for light sleepers. We got used to it pretty quickly though.

The apartment was clean and bright, we could see Mt Fuji from our window. We loved the view from the roof. The host was extremely helpful and kind. The bed mattress was too soft for us.

It was very expensive (especially given the size). We visited during a record influx of tourists, and so they could likely charge what they wanted.

Metro makes it easy to hop around Tokyo. Apartment was small and fit the 4 of us. Sofa bed was not so comfy. Heating worked well, and the convenience store next door had great food options at cheap prices. Main street was always buzzing.

• Iris (10/5): Great location and spacious property! - Very close proximity to the metro and city center of Shinjuku. There are 2 grocery stores directly downstairs and vending machines. We loved having a full sized fridge to accommodate all our snacks and drinks we’d bring back! Beautiful views from the rooftop! Although not too big of an issue, it was difficult to abide by the laundry during the day rule. We usually headed out to explore early in the morning and returned late afternoon/evening so it was hard to manage doing the laundry not at that later part of the day.

• David (5/5): Good space, but overal disappointing. - Clean property and quite spacious for Tokyo standards. Ok location. This place is obviously a work in progress. The building is being renovated. The roof terrace is soulless, too hot and lacks any furniture. It is not somewhere to hang out. The hot tub us actually just a bath. I feel like we were sold a very different vibe and question the validity of some of the reviews.
