• Olivia (1/5): Bad - Nothing.. This place was a scam, booking waa confirmed and then was sent a confirmation for our check in time. Area was secluded compared to other places we stayed in athens and didn’t seem safe for two female solo traveler’s. we arrived and tried to contact the property multiple times to which we had no response from. Sat outside the property for over 2 hours trying to contact them and still nothing. Ended up having to book another accommodation, not good enough . Booking.com has not done anything to rectify this situation despite calling customer service numerous times. Was told they would not do anything about the situation so overall were telling me to count the losses on the money we spent for this accommodation. Poor service all around

• Erika (1/5): Bad - The location is good. DO NOT BOOK ACCOMMODATION HERE!!! I was here two months. In June the owner completely disappeared. He doesn’t pick up the emergency phone number, nothing. I saw so many people who couldn’t get into the building because the guy didn’t sent him any information. There is no reception so without the information you cannot enter the building and your room. If you arrive late you will end up in the street for the night.

• Eleni (1/5): Not professional. They didn’t even give me the right entry code to the building. - The entry code was incorrect and I ended up not being able to stay at the property. I contacted the property manager but it was after hours and did not get ahold of them in time. Had to change plans for my overnight stay given I couldn’t stay at this location. There was a note written on piece of cardboard with a phone number to call for the updated code. Very unprofessional. I wasn’t even sure I was calling the right person for this.

• Laura (6/5): Pleasant - The owner was very helpful. The variation in the quality of the rooms is very big. You could get a really bad one but if you are lucky you can get a nicer one.

I would definitely pay more for more comfort. - The price was very reasonable, the place was quiet, they responded immediately, the room was large and private, had a kitchen and bathroom, and a small terrace. very old and poor furniture, lack of any decoration, I don't see much resemblance to the picture in the ad.

• Spyros (7/5): Decent place to sleep near the metro - Good location just 10-15mins walk from the metro station. Good price. Very easy to collect the keys. The size of the room was good. If you just need a place to sleep at night, then this is a good option. It would be nice to have a microwave or kitchen so you can make a coffee in the morning or prepare a quick snack.
• Saphir (8/5): Good value for the money. - Very good location, clean, quiet, spacious. The energy outlets were hanging out of the walls, the shower curtain was broken and hanging of the wall, the shower gel container was with rust, the water tap was loose (not fixated in the sink).
• Devendra (6/5): Great Area | Basic Amenities | Bad Internet - Clear instructions to enter the building and the key was right there in the room's keyhole. Host was responsive. The place can be reached via public transport. 5 min walk from Keramikos Metro. The area is filled with good restaurants. There's a gym, 8Boutique, 5min walk from the room. It's a bit expensive but at least you've an easy option. The room was clean upon arrival and has all the basic utensils one needs for cooking at home. The fridge is big. The bathroom is a bit small but functional. I didn't have any major issues. There was a little balcony. Place is air conditioned. The place is good for short stays and NOT for long stays. The internet sucks! I was getting 7-8Mbps download and 1Mbps Upload. The host did provide me a range extender right in my room, so the wifi wasn't the issue but the actual plan they take from the Internet provider is probably the cheapest possible and that doesn't help even with basic browsing. I wanted to work remotely and it wasn't possible. The place doesn't come with room service. It's more like an AirBnB. For 3-4 days, I guess that's ok but anyting more and the value for money isn't justified. Full credits to the host and cleaning lady, they always provided clean sheets whenever asked for, however, there was no vacuum cleaner and without something as basic as that, I can't recommend it for long stays. A smal nit-pick, the pressure on the shower head was too low to enjoy a shower as well.

• Blessing (4/5): Not so great... - The location was great with close access to public transportation and precise instructions were provided for easy access into the building and the flat. The bed was comfortable and a good size. The property wasn't that clean. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mildew, the curtains around the shower were filthy and covered in mildew as well. The curtains on the other windows were dirty too. There was an AC only in the bedroom so the rest of the property was very cold, especially the bathroom. There were all sorts of cracks on the walls and ceilings. All the noise from the outside corridor could be heard in the bedroom as there was a door that I assume was the initial way of accessing the flat and it was never blocked off properly.

• Μαμαλου (5/5): Good location , big apartment. - Excellent location. Easy access to keys and they provide a place for luggage, before check in and after check out. Very big apartment with huge balcony and view to the city. They need to improve the moldy bathroom and replace the rusty bathroom curtain. Needs a small renovation. Otherwise the location was wonderful as we had access to the center of Athens.

• Svratila (2/5): Convenient Parking, But Everything Else Was Terrible - The only positive thing about this apartment is the convenience of parking—there’s plenty of space in front of the building. Towels and linen were clean, which is the bare minimum you’d expect. Everything else was a huge letdown. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were awful. The entire room smelled like dampness, making it difficult to relax or enjoy the stay. The furniture is incredibly old and worn-out, giving the apartment an uninviting and neglected vibe. The apartment was also freezing cold, and the air conditioner seemed to be from another century—not only was it ineffective, but it looked like it hadn’t been serviced in years. When I contacted the host to ask for an extra blanket, they simply ignored my request, which was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, this place felt more like a relic of the past than a comfortable apartment. Unless major upgrades are made, I can’t recommend it to anyone.
• Anam (8/5): Very good - It's a very quite place the room was very clean and tidy it had a big balcony with nice view. The chek in and chek out process is very easy. The shutters of the balcony doors were damaged.
• Papadopoyloy (10/5): Exceptional - It was very close to Thiseio, and to the metro station. The apartment was clean and the host was really helpful. It was totally worth of it's price. However the pillows were really big and they were not as comfortable as expected.

• Eduardo (7/5): Not bad place, but NO wifi internet. - Good place/room, well equipped for a few days, not like the photos presented, but was nice for a stay. Also asked for iron, and host kindly provided one. Wifi doesn't work. Property has wifi routers all setup throughout the building, but with no active internet connection. Technically it has wifi, but you won't have internet. Owner didn't respond to messages regarding it.
• Eduardo (4/5): Bad experience, no wifi, booking roulette. - The location and room size. And the iron provided by the host (reason why the review isn't lower). It was our 2nd time in the New Times, after making a stop elsewhere, and the difference in rooms from the 1st one to this stay was night and day... Which explains the disparities in the reviews from other people. Our room had sockets falling off the wall, the fridge was dirty inside, the cutlery was kept in a aluminum tray from a take away inside the drawer... The exhaust fan from the stove was also exhausting into the room itself... No aluminum tunnel leading to the outside. And again, NO internet connection.... You have the wifi connection, but with no active internet, don't know if host decided not to pay for it? Also, host is not responsive, but he does see the messages, I asked for iron again, got no response, but found one at the door, that's the only reason why my review isn't a 1/10, The shower hose is also broken, the drainer in the floor comes off easily, not attached, and the cabinet in the bathroom also swings off the wall, was only attached at the top.. + in the other room we had a pot + 1 frying pan, in this one we only had 2 frying pans... Overall, DON'T recommend staying here, you either have a pleasant experience with no wifi, or a really bad one with no wifi... I think the host is trying to build more rooms to maximize revenue, but doesn't have or doesn't want to spend the capital required to do it properly, result is extreme loss in quality and customer satisfaction. It's a booking roulette, take at your cost. PS: The number provided by the host to contact was also going to voicemail from my end on the 3 times I tried to go through it. Messages on booking, besides the 1st one are left without response, although received and read by host.

• Mary (1/5): Bad - Stay away. The worst place and host i ever had experienced in my life. The room was too dirty, blanket was without sheet with yellow stains. Wifi was not working 2 days. He said its general Problem, but next street cafe was internet. He was lying. The next door neighbours had a dog till morning did not lettes us to sleep. He was always barking. The host was too rude, because of we left the room 8 mins late, he saw me on the corridor and walked towards me tried to fight with high volume, because of the 8 mins late. His reason was, he would pay to housekeeping extra. I could not do anything because of my wife was with me. Very dangerous to stay there. Even the area was not safe. Check it before booking.

• Arne (2/5): Unacceptable - Wifi worked The booking is very cheap and we know that we can't expect anything very good, but what we found was unacceptable and shouldn't be allowed to be put as a booking. The apartment is in an industrial area, surroundings are under construction. Loud noises and workers from opposite building/site look straight into the room. Room doesn't look like the pictures. Balcony very dirty and only for standing. Entry door of the house was hard to open. Door handle of the apartment not fitted properly. Room smelled extremely bad out of the sewerage pipes. Mold all over the bathroom seiling. Bathroom door unable to shut, no privacy / protection from the smell of the sewerage. Everything in the shower nearly broke completely. Shower head has bend aluminium on it, so you can scratch yourself. Drain plate is not fitted properly and float out of drain while showering, very sharp edges.

• Kalina (9/5): Superb - The place is comfortable, it is near Kerameikos metro station (apr. 10 min). We found it easily. It is as the pictures and is really spacious. They let us store our luggage in the cleaning room, which was really nice of them. There is an elevator. There was a hairdryer and the kitchen is quite good. It could be cleaned more thoroughly between the different guests, because we found some hairs around the floor and bathroom, but we understand that it is normal. Overall we were pleased.
• Danish (7/5): Good enough for the price - 24 hours self check in. Clean room and Lenin generally in calm neighborhood. 15 minutes walk from the main busy areas. 10 minutes walk to metro station. Good enough for the price. Quick to respond Very kind Bed mattress was a bit worn off. Not as comfortable as it looks. Some other small things breaking apart. Place needs a little check up. Morning few hours it was noisy because of construction work in the next building.

The value for money was excellent, with everything I needed in the room for a few days’ stay. The highlight was the large balcony in my room, offering a stunning view. Highly recommended for those looking for a well-located, affordable option. On the downside, the bed linens didn’t feel new, and there was no cover for the blanket.

Extreme noise by the apartment next door - they were playing live music, with real instruments rock, non stop during the whole afternoon and evening. When I notified the host they just said deal with it yourself. The pillows were flat, old and uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom

Was hard to be comfortable as the property was extremely hot (visited during the summer) and the one aircon just didn’t cool the big space up even after leaving on for hours!

Does not reach your room, barely works out in the corridor and the staff said that because no one else complained about it that it wasn’t a problem. I had to use my data the entire time instead because the Wi-Fi was just too slow.

The metro was only a 10 minute walk, so getting around was very easy. The bed was uncomfortable and the neighborhood wasn’t nice. It was a little hard to find the apartment, especially at night.

• Henrique (7/5): Good for the price, honest place to stay. - Comfortable bed, the AC worked so it made a huge difference since the city was scalding hot. Everything you need to spend a few days is there. There was a weird leaking in the living room - we couldn’t see what was it. The location is a bit scary - dark, extremely deserted spot. But 9 minutes walk to the metro station.

Air conditioning and washing machine were very helpful in July 🙂 9 minutes walking M3(blue) Metro station from/to Athens Airport as well as the port of Piraeus. The area does not delight, however, is fine. The district is renewing. We felt safe, even though we were careful. Contrary to popular opinion, the streets of Athens are clean. There are a lot of neglected buildings.
