Guest Reviews
- Li (1/5): Too many mishaps making the stay miserable. - Key to the main entrance didn't work upon arrival. Was locked out of the building after going out to buy breakfast 7 am in the morning. WiFi was not functional at all, I had to pay extra for data roaming. Smoke alarm started beeping loudly at 4 a.m. on my last night of stay. The air in the room was very musty upon arrival. There is no nightstand next to the bed, I had to unplug the light to charge my phone next to bed.
- Evgeny (5/5): Passable - The location is an advantage of this apartment There was no internet, and in the evening after walks I would have liked to post photos and watch TV, but without internet, which is paid for, you can't do all that
- Ted (8/5): In this instance ... did not serve a great purpose to my stay in Berlin. - Most of the amenities were great ... but, having no internet connection / Wifi service became a rather significant issue for my business travel to Berlin. The courtyard view directly to the unsightly corral of rubbish bins / recycle containers was less charming and direct contrast to the very nice apartment stylings.
- Valentina (5/5): Passable - The location is convenient Not cozy to me, ground floor, damp, no place to put the clothes, the bed is too high, especially for the child, I was afraid to fall from it, definitely not recommend to families.
- Sibley (5/5): Just about alright - The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything required Internet did not work the entire time , despite informing the owner on the first day , no solution was found.
Shower drain needs unblocking
- Siarhei (4/5): Disappointing - Ants in the room and no WIFI internet, shower clogged immediately. No information about garbage cans in front of the entrance. For 800 euros-3 days, it's just horrible!!!
- Hilton (2/5): Worst experience I've had on Booking.com - avoid at all costs - Absolutely terrible customer service, WIFI was too slow to load a video, uncomfortable bed, unclear instructions on how find the room - caused me to stand outside for half an hour at 10pm,
- Philippon (8/5): Really nice - Really lovely apartment, super calm and really confortable, with beautiful decorations. Well done ! It was really complicated to get the key and make the check in, the host was not joinable on the phone, only by email and this made the contact really complicated, it took me half an hour to figure out how to find the apartment.
The wifi wasn't working also.
- Jonathon (8/5): Cosy stay at a nicely located place - Location was very good near Ernst Reuter Platz, central and easy to get to main attractions on a short subway ride.
Heating was very reliable and worked well, especially important on those days of snow and ice.
The kitchenette came in very handy for when we didn't feel like eating out. It had all the needed utensils and appliances.
TV came with several streaming apps installed but no logged-in account. So visitors would need to log into their accounts if they have any. Check-in at 4PM and check-out at 10AM are somewhat odd hours, something you would definitely not see at any hotel or even hostel. But we were expecting it as it was duly informed upon booking the property, so it did not catch us off guard.
Check-in instructions were somewhat confusing. I was sent a code to open a lockbox to collect front door keys and then was sent another code for another door (which it turns out we did not need). Then I was sent another message with a different code to open the lockbox. It was somewhat confusing but it all turned out fine in the end.
While trying to phone the property at the phone number they made available, the operator informed us that the number was disconnected or was not assigned. Have that in mind in case you run into some kind of trouble.
The shower stall does not close, so water tends to splash all over the bathroom floor even if you are extremely careful. So we had to use one of the provided towels to clean the floor up.
- Manish (2/5): Very poor - Not much to tell Checkin was pathetic, I struggled for more than an hour and
Finally different code shared is worked. Really pathetic start of my vacation ( I even booked the other accommodation for a day because of that), contact person number was incorrect and booking.com auto message respond for 24 hrs time to get back.
Location is also very pathetic, it's just infront of Garbage area ( it was mentioned the garden facing)
- Madalin (9/5): will go again -
- Reda (9/5): Superb - Nice and quite place
- Eugene (7/5): Good - Quiet accommodation It feels like that the owner is a computer. Many mails were send by them repeating that I had to register, while I had already done that. Upon our mail to the owner where we complained about missing kitchen equipment, never any reply was received. No contact seemed possible with the owner. Also never an answer about the leaking shower head, the broken door handle and out of order ventilation system.
Be aware that the apartment has changed appearance since 7 green plants have been removed from the inventory shown on their pictures.
- Jerry (5/5): Had to borrow some tools from my nephew so that I could fix the chairs before using them. - It was easy to catch the bus to go places. It was noisy with garbage cans being banged around early mornings and after quiet hours at night, and with noise from adjacent residents. Difficult to get the hot plate stove to work. Table kind of small.
- Ladipo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Bala (10/5): Exceptional -
- Birnis (8/5): Overall it was nice and cosy. - The interior was cosy and kitchen - well equipped. It was warm, heating can be regulated and there was always warm water. Located in a quiet area, neighbours couldn’t be heard. There were some small flaws. Shower quickly overflowed and flooded the bathroom. The instructions for self check in we’re a little unclear.
- Siarhei (3/5): Poor -
- A (9/5): Superb -
- Whaeberlen (9/5): Great opportunity - Great place to stay. Nice and clean. In Berlín transport is quiet good, the place is comfortable and well maintained. There was some error with the initial instruction, but nothing worrying.
- Mark (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect for us as we were looking for something in West Berlin. We appreciated the self-check-in. However, the instruction could be more explicit about the exact apartment. We loved the impression of a 'loft' that the place gave us; a high ceiling, large windows, a lot of lights, big boxspring as the center piece. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen appliances, shower soap, etc.). The self-check-in could have been more smooth, the apartment could use a little maintenance, and the plants from the photos are missing.
