It felt safe and there were many bars and restaurants .The owner Chris was so helpful with excellent communication .The apartment had so many extra touches .loads of coffee pods water .everything ypu could possibly need .So much thought had gone into it . The only thing tho it was charming and reminiscent of a French apartment was the tiny lift IIf you struggle with any claustrophobia or lift phobia think twice .However I did get used to it and wouldn't have missed staying in this wonderful apartment

He met us on arrival and was on hand throughout our stay to answer any questions. We handed the keys back when we left. The location was excellent and we were able to access all the key city locations on foot. The property was well equipped and in great condition. We particularly enjoyed the view of the Acropolis from the balcony.

The apartment has everything in need making our stay in Athens comfortable. During a hot weather, plenty of water bottles in a fridge were thoughtful too. The apartment was within walking distance to eateries and the Benaki museum which is a must visit. Our host, Christos was there to meet us on our arrival and attended to all our needs during our stay. Our view of the Acropolis from the balcony was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the views from the terrace while eating breakfast and dinner on many occasions. The appartement is perfect in size, well equipped with everything you need, and very clean. It was a perfect place to spend a week in Athens and felt like our little home away from home. But most importantly the host Chris is amazing, he met us when we arrived in the evening, transported our heavy suitcases in the lift and was extremely attentive throughout our stay. Without hesitation we would recommend staying here and hope to come back again soon !

He was a great host with his recommendations and assistance. The elevator is a bit on the small side so be prepared for that but not a big issue overall.

Chris was extremely welcoming and always responsive and attentive to make sure the stay was going ok. Internet working very well if need to work remotely. Strongly recommend it. All was great. Just a small heads up if you are travelling with a lot of luggage ( 2 large suitcases or more), the lift is quite small and flat is on 7th floor.

• Aljosa (10/5): An amazing stay - The penthouse appartment is a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. It is beautiful and has an amazing almost 360 view of the city and the Acropolis. It's a dream filled with everything you might need from dishwasher tablets to water waiting in the coffee machine and cold water waiting in the fridge. The owner Chris is lovely and extremely helpful. He came to greet us and help us with our bags and was there for anything we needed. We loved our stay and can't recommned it enough.

It is located in a very trendy neighbourhood of Athens. Great value for money. It was perfect for our stay in Athens, but if we have to mention one thing, we would say that the double bed was just a bit too narrow for us.

Better than photos show. Our welcoming host, Chris helped with the luggage on our later night arrival and early departure and suggested various places to go when we asked. He lives on site so no problems with keys etc. Lift access to top level of building (7th floor) just fits 2 people but is a bit of fun to use. Shower is also small but works well. There’s everything you’d need here right down to bottled water, shower gel and good coffee pods! Air con in June worked well when needed. Very good wifi. Great washing machine and outdoor clothes line. Nothing.

Loved location, landlord, and beautiful view of the Acropolis. - Chis, the owner met us to carry our luggage, show us our room and was readily available as he lives in an apartment one floor below the rental. The location was in a lovely neighborhood with great restaurants. In addition, it was easy to walk to all the main attractions in Athens. We were very happy to have access to a washing machine and a drying rack. The apartment was very clean and the sleeping area was very quiet. Nothing. We were very happy.

• Julian (10/5): Lovely apartment with a wonderful host and in a central location - What do I like? Let's start with our host: Chris was solicitous, yet discreet. We had excellent communication from a few days before my arrival right up to my departure. When I reached out to him,, he always replied promptly and was always very helpful. He sometimes came up from his place to show me how something works. He stocked the fridge with enough bottled water to cover my stay. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Despite the unseasonally high temperatures (upper 20C), the 7th-floor apartment stayed pleasantly cool. From the living room and terrace, there is a beautiful view of the Acropolis and the sea. There is a lift, but it is not for the claustrophobic. The location is great: it is outside of the ancient centre with its many historical sites, but it is still in the heart of Athens. The Evangelismos metro station is less than seven to 10 minutes away. From there, it is an easy three-stop ride to most museums and monuments. You can also reach those same sites in 30 minutes on foot, giving you the opportunity to explore the shops and neighbourhoods along the way. If you time your walk properly, you can even see the changing of the guards in front of the monument to the unknown solidier.

Meeting to get the keys was simple, and getting there and getting around was easy because of the location. The apartment is nicer than the photos show, especially the view. Really, we didn’t lack for anything. I’ve never had a holiday apartment experience go smoother.

Seldom encountered an apartment so well equipped, down to details such as plenty of sockets and a freezer with loads of ice cubes that was much appreciated on that very hot summer day!! OK - it goes on… 😃Chris was just the perfect host: warm, welcoming, helpful & practical, yet without being intrusive in any way. Chris met us downstairs and was a breath of fresh air. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was exquisite, great fit out and facilities and a lovely balcony with a nice view of the acropolis. The apartment is well located in a very nice area, if you're unlucky enough to miss booking this apartment, I would recommend still finding a place in Kolonaki as it was close enough to the sights but far enough away from the tourists rush to relax and is full of lush restaurants. Cannot thank the host Chris enough for how helpful he was throughout our stay, clearly knows the value of good hospitality and really makes a point of ensuring his guests are comfortable and well looked after. Hard pressed to think of a better host in all our years traveling. Leaving.

Infact I would highly recommend the location as it’s away from touristy areas and let’s you soak in the true Athen’s vibe. The apartment is compact and perfect for a couple with a child. A special mention to the host, Chris. He is friendly, very prompt and goes out of the way to make you comfortable at his place. everything was great!

• Ma (9/5): Fantastic stay! - Chris, the host, was wonderful. He made sure that the apartment was ready even though we arrived earlier than expected. He was always ready to help, gave us tips on where to eat, what to see, and how to get around in Athens. He even arranged our airport transportation. The apartment itself is very nice, clean and modern. As promised, it has a fantastic view of the Acropolis. It has a well-appointed kitchen with everything you need, a washing machine, dishwasher, a new ref. The bathroom.is spacious, and he even provided some.toiletries for my.10-year old son. It has a bedroom with aircon and tv, ample closet space, and 2 sofa beds, an airconed living/eating area with TV (with Netflix and Prime). The apartment is located in Kolonaki, a posh area with a lot of shops, restaurants and coffee places. It's a 10 minute-walk to Syntagma Square, and a 5-minute walk to the nearest Metro stop (Evangelismos). Athens is a beautiful place, and the people we encountered there were nice and polite. We walked and toured the city a lot, and we were glad that at the end of the day, we were able to rest and relax at this beautiful and comfortable apartment.
• Sophie (10/5): A penthouse I hope to come back to - I wish to come back to this property if I need to be back in Athens for business or holidays. It is beautiful, has amazing views on the city and acropolis, it is clean and recently nicely renovated. It has all the comfort and a lot of daylight. I also appreciated the noise level from the street, as we are on the 7th floor it is low and allows for a good, peaceful night of sleep which is what I was looking for after many noisy nights in cool « soundproof » hotels. Chris is a great host, I can only recommend his hospitality. Communication was smooth! Thank you again Chris!! I have seen other comments on the elevator : it is indeed old and small but beautiful and wooden, it might be stressful to someone claustrophobic but if you are used to small european elevators you will be all right. It is the size of a big closet. There is nothing I didn’t like !
