Guest Reviews
- Dennis (1/5): Don’t go there - Good location Couldn’t get in 6 residents tried entrance code and couldn’t work it,fortunately someone had a pass key
Boiler packed up day 2 on a 4 day stay
Property owners denied all this
We are not idiots!
- Dana (8/5): Lovely D16 place - Automatic hot water, which is a big deal in Ireland. Nice coffee machine available with complimentary pods. Moodlight in the kitchen. Couch with nice view on the trees outside. Space for a drying rack. Despite it being beside a busy road, it was still adequately quiet. Short drive from both D24 and D18. Bus to city center and big Tesco in the opposite direction stops nearby. Food delivery found the place easily. Designated parking spot. Windows can be opened wide. I noticed the bed is superking instead of king, so I asked the landlord for extra bedding, as the replacements they had were too small. They promised to bring, but it never arrived. The bedroom light has some sort of weird motion sensor that apparently ghosts can turn on and off too. I had to clean mold out of the washing machine detergent compartment. Too expensive for a suburban one-bed flat.
- Anita (8/5): We had an enjoyable stay in this nice little apartment. - The location was good, easy to find and good instructions for check in. The apartment is light and airy and well equipped with good appliances and everything needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and plenty of clothes storage space. Michael, the host, communicated with us by messaging and answered any queries quickly. Bus route into the city is nearby, and supermarkets within a few kilometres. It provides a good base for exploring areas around Dublin. There is a lot of noise due to traffic passing on the main road even throughout the night, I am a light sleeper and so had difficulty getting off to sleep at times, also the ceiling lights in the bedroom had an unusual control switch and they would just turn on in the night spontaneously, one of the bedside lamps was also faulty. As a result I didn’t sleep very well throughout our stay, even though the bed was very comfortable .
- Sofia (10/5): Everything was wonderful. Great and quiet location — about 50 minutes from the city center by bus, w -

- Nataliia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verena (7/5): Good - very nice appartement
very clean Water in the shower was only lukewarm
Water tank made very loud noise for a quite some time even after only using the toilet flush
Double bed narrow
- Moyo (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasiia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shyam (7/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- Kerryn (9/5): Modern apartment on city edge - Modern apartment in a lovely garden setting. Excellent transport links with several buses on the road at the front. Close to several shopping centres, Airfield, Marley Park and the Pearse Museum. Hot water service or boiler made a terrible sound every time you used the hot water or flushed the toilet and lasted for quite some time, very annoying late at night.
The balcony area is not pleasing with its dirty, cracked glass and mossy concrete.
- Dmytro (5/5): Not clean - I was not clean after previous guests when we came
- Ann-marie (10/5): Comfortable, clean, safe, nice - Clean, spacious, fresh
It was great that there were a few bits already in the apartment. I.e. toilet roll, washing up, liquid, tea, towels, hairdryer, and straighteners
Great bus service into the city from just outside the apartment Nothing to not like really
Occasionally the water heating up was a bit noisy
I’d add a full length mirror somewhere, as it was difficult to check clothes and check hair - just my personal preference (we were getting ready for a wedding and the only longish length mirror is in the bathroom - not ideal when somebody is in there)
Not a criticism, just would enhance stay
- Debra (8/5): Very nice property! - The location was awesome …the apt was clean & comfortable!! Would recommend to others!! The water heater can be loud & runs often
- Judy (8/5): A terrific place to stay! - The location, in a quiet, leafy suburb was fantastic. The apartment block was secure and very quiet. It was walking distance to a supermarket and the bus service into Dublin was regular, with the stops being very close to the accommodation.
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious, with a balcony as a bonus! Very well-equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom.
The communication with the owner/manager was excellent. He was very kind and helpful. We had a small issue regarding entry, but a quick phone call fixed the problem.
- Phil (9/5): Great base for heading into Dublin and also heading out to the Wicklow mountains -
- Karen (10/5): A very pleasant and comfortable stay in lovely , convenient and well-equipped apartment. - It was a lovely, quiet apartment with everything I needed. Spacious and modern. Comfortable bed, good wifi, little balcony. Sheltered by trees.
Decor was simple, smart and and attractive. Good to have a dishwasher and plenty of things in the kitchen. It would have been helpful to have some information in the apartment about how things worked and not just in a message as I couldn't always locate the message when I needed to refer to it. I would have also liked there to have been some capsules for the coffee machine. I had some with me to use in my travel/hand-held coffee capsule machine, but they were not compatible with the machine and I didn't know where to get them from. It was also a little tricky to reach the keys on arrival...
- Elizabeth (1/5): Won’t recommend - Not anything The owner was not helpful in trying to get the television to work. The key was not accessible when we got to the property. The boiler was so loud it was impossible to sleep while it was running
- Mary (7/5): Good - The problem was the key only worked for me part of the time and wth the ever present threat of finding oneself locked-out it made things a wee bit stressful. When I messaged the owner he never replied. The cleaner barging into the apartment on the day -before- I was due to leave. And again when I raised this with the owner I received no apology... no reply of any kind.
- Hegarty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennah (7/5): Good -
- Hegarty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (8/5): Very good - Conformable and clean. Complete with parking space. Easy to commute Dublin via public transport. Local amenities very good. Good choice of restaurants The boiler was very noisy
- Mary (9/5): A Comfortable Apartment at a Good Price - Boden Heath is a self catering apartment on the south suburbs of Dublin. It was easy to locate, and the owner gave full and detailed instructions on how to access the (secure) property. I felt we got what we paid for.
The apartment was comfortable, and though not 'de-luxe' it had everything one might need for a comfortable lodging, including full wi-fi. There is a modern clean lift to the upper floors of the block.
We had one or two queries which the owner was very quick to answer, and he even came round to put a slight hiccup right. He couldn't have been more helpful.
The flat is around 30 minutes drive from the city centre with all the tourist attractions that make Dublin such a special place and there are numerous bus stops handy with frequent services into town. There are numerous shops, supermarkets and restaurants within easy reach. The decor needs a bit of a spruce-up but that said there is nothing wrong that impinges on one's comfort, so there really wasn't anything to say I "didn't like" about it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this flat as a comfortable place to stay, and as the boiler cracks and bangs its way into service, it's even quite "exciting"! LOL!
