• Darren (4/5): - Location very good, just a few minutes walk from Waterloo station. Apartment was clean. There were no bed sheets for the sofa bed, quilt, or pillows, meaning we had to sleep on the sofa bed without! The host never came back to us after informing us he was checking with cleaning - disappointing. The sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and noisy to walk up, and the apartment is quite noisy overnight from neighbouring flats.

• Amy (9/5): Fantastic location. Great space inside and out. Really enjoyed our stay. - Space in flat was great. Location amazing. Host was really helpful and quick to respond when needed. View fantastic on NYE for fireworks. The main bed and sofa were particularly hard so unfortunately we have to say that made the stay a little uncomfortable. Standard of finish, furnishing, fittings etc and clean weren't quite top standard. Communal area into the flat is quite run down. These comments made, we do appreciate the location and thus aren't trying to suggest it wasn't value for money. It was a shame we didn't have a better understanding as a tourist about the new years eve barriers. Polite feedback would be that it would go along way to highlight these sort of things to guests when they book the accommodation as sadly we did end up losing £270 on a booked boat trip that we couldn't risk attending. Not the hosts' responsibility, we know. When called upon the host was exceptionally supportive, thank you :)

• Sinan (3/5): Good location but dirty place with smell, I wouldn’t stay here again - + Location was good and the person who I was in contact was responsive. + He solved our heating problem quickly after we figure out. + Bathroom was clean. - There was a spider on the ceiling, which raised concerns about cleanliness. - The bed sheets were dirty, with visible hairs on them. - The bed linens appeared to be intentionally dark-coloured (dark grey), possibly to make stains and dirt less noticeable. - There was noticeable dust on the floor, indicating inadequate cleaning. - The apartment and the building had a persistent damp and musty smell. - There was no heating during our first two days. Although we eventually resolved this with the responsible person, it caused significant discomfort. Additionally, a power adapter was missing and had to be replaced. - Towels were not provided upon arrival. The cleaner informed us that he would purchase new ones and asked us to use them immediately, which we found unacceptable, as they had not been washed.

Changer les portes fenêtres, fermetures bricolées, pas isolé du bruit de la gare voisine. Cher en raison de l’emplacement, l'appartement mérite un grand rafraichissement, SDB, cuisine, une vraie machine a café... poubelle qui ferme, bonde évier qui ne tient pus en position ouverte.... pas de possibilité de laisser les bagages.

• Steven (8/5): Despite the few things I didn’t like, it was a wonderful week and the apartment a brilliant location for seeing the sigh - I loved the proximity to Westminster, the Southbank and the fact that it was located in a lively little street, with plenty places to eat out or have a drink and with street markets every other day. It also had a supermarket literally under the apartment and other supermarkets very nearby. Also being so close to Waterloo station meant not only being near a rail link but the station itself was almost akin to a little shopping centre. The stairwell to the property was quite narrow and the type of steps meant that it seemed we were quite noisy going up and down. The property itself was well equipped but could do with a little more TLC. It was clean, the linen clean, bathroom etc. The terrace very big but not very private but the London Eye visible, so that was nice.

With a few improvements, this place has the potential to offer a much bette - The property is located in a quiet area with good facilities, and we appreciated the quick response from the owner whenever we had questions or requests. We encountered a few issues during our stay: • The air conditioner duct was broken, which affected the cooling. • The towel we used was not returned from the dryer; instead, we were expected to dispense the pin ourselves and return the used towel back to the washing machine, which felt inconvenient. • Lastly, the stairs were uncomfortable and not easy to use, especially for those with mobility concerns. We hope these points are taken into consideration for future improvements.

No stairs mentioned and we dragged our suitcases up 3 flights.Dryer for clothers was in the living room and a fabric box with heat and was full of wet clothes. No a/c working. Directions to use the stove didn't work and a window was broken in the kitchen.
• Manuela (7/5): With a punch of renovation and precision, the place might be a gem - Location is good, as it is a walking distance to London eye. Communication with the host was prompt and accurate. The neighborhood is great. The apartment is rather noisy, as it is very close to Waterloo station. It needs renovation. Pictures of outdoor zone are misleading, as it looks like a terrace and it turned out to be a inner yard and people could access nearby. The bathroom definitely needs renovation

• Louise (4/5): Great location! Dated very basic flat! Cannot sleep more than a couple comfortable! Need of revamp! - The location was excellent, Iceland downstairs next to the flat, 4 min walk from Waterloo and lots of restaurants on the street it is on. Nice shower and bath. Very very disappointing stay, this was booked as I was taking part in the London Marathon and wanted a lovely apartment to relax in. It cost just under £600 for two nights. It was described as luxurious! It was not. It is very tatty and needs decorating, the oven did not work apart from the grill. I reported it and was told someone would be out to fix it. No one came. There was no tea towel to dry up. This was reported told to go out and buy one and they would pay for it. No lampshades on the lights just hanging bulbs, the plinth under the dishwasher feel down everytime opened it. Feel on my parents foot hurting them. The outside space, plain, no plants, completely open exposed, people walking past to get in their flats can fully see you. Dated basic furniture and table, window blown in door. The bin lid did not shut properly, so had to put something on it. The sofa bed did not open up into a proper sofa bed, so might before and after I had to sleep on a sofa which was really crap. The tv could not get normal tv, had to log into Netflix to watch anything. No instructions for anything. Would not stay here again, I gave raised a formal complaint to the manager with no response. Highest disappointing a lot of money for basic unloved flat. The sofa pillows stank too like never cleaned. There is also a tall enclosed clothes rack that is on drying previous guest towels and bedding. Just very very poor.

Thank you - Location, facilities, TV channels, friendly staff Hidden damage deposits of £250 each for 1. a person/ people under the age of 26 (does not make sense at all and it could be considered as the age discrimination) 2. Taking a pet/dog The pictures are pretty much modified, so it looks modern. You will significantly see the difference once you get into the apartment and spot all damages that has not been repaired.

Clean towels and sheets. The balcony is really big and the view is stunning! It's close to markets, restaurants and bars. The owner is really kind and helped us with everything we asked for!

Management was very responsive on what’s app which is a plus Simple amenities like lotion , bath soap, hand towels they should stock more . Visitors should not have to go to local market to get more since they provide minimal amount . Plus no bath towel to put on floor so water from shower spills on floor . These are simple cheap little things that can improve visitor experience. They want all dishes cups to be cleaned and put back . I wish they would just say put dishes cups etc in dishwasher and turn on upon leaving (like other properties I have stayed at) - this way when cleaning team arrives - all they have to do is put away Entering the flat is slick coded door lock - but management should say touch the key pad and first TWO NUMBERS will show up and press those and then entire keypad would light up so you can enter the 4 digits provided to open the door . They could put small video or picture to make it easier

• Elena (3/5): I can not recommend the apartment…and the pictures online are a scam - - the location was really great! - There was no key in the lockbox. - There is an unpleasant smell in the building hallway and the bathroom, as if there has been a water leak a while ago and things have not been fixed. - Kitchen towels were missing. - Kitchen utensils, cutlery, plates etc were dirty. - Salt and liquid for the dishwasher was empty and none under the sink to refill, which explains the dirty kitchen utensils etc. - There was a random baby backpack and smelly, used pillows and duvets in the closet which were all obviously left there by previous guests. When we reported the backpack we were told it would be picked up the next day (someone would enter our rented space) which did not happen - The backpack, pillows and duvets were still in the closet when we checked out. - The bathroom cabinet is broken - Things fall down easily with the toilet right next to it. - The glass wall in the shower is not fitted. Unless we manually fixed it, it would move out and let all the water spill out. - The shower head is attached too close to the wall and too high up. When it looks straight down, the water runs too close to the wall, when you tilt it, it spills out because it is attached higher than the glass wall. - The toilet is uncomfortably close to the door and the door looks filthy. - There is no toilet paper holder and nowhere to put the toilet paper but on the toilet behind you. - The terrace doors can be broken into with ease, we could see outside through the gaps. - Netflix was advertised but not available. - The only bedsheet available did not fit the sofabed, it was impossible to cover all the corners. - The sofa itself and the space under the sofa where the duvet and pillows are kept is not clean. - There were not enough bedsheets for the amount of people we booked for. - The pillow covers and towels were not folded away but hanging in a drying closet or just thrown in the boxes indicated - It was confusing whether it was dirty or clean and to find what we were looking for.

I had to wire money internationally for damage deposit which Booking.com already included when I booked. The property insisted to be wired only. How dumb!

Doors to outside patio didn’t close securely - seemed swollen with water. Property manager had a lot of rules compared to other properties

When we arrive the linens were not dry yet and we had to do the second bed ourselves, we didnt have hot water we call the manager he replied immediately and explained us how to turn it back on THe place needs to be refurbished especially the bathroom;

The apartment is not in the best condition, mainly the bathroom. The bathroom is very old, not very clean, and with a smell that is not very nice. The apartment is in need of a deep clean and improvedment.

• Selma (4/5): Disappointing … - Only thing I liked was the location. I think this property is falsely advertised I didn’t understand why they would send me a load of messages to state that you have to be a certain age and certain level of genius on booking.com in order not to pay the deposit but despite passing I still had to pay … very unnecessary. Then the worst part, I had a bunch of rules to follow along with “feel at home” I had to take my own bins out onto the street to put my towels in the washing machine to maintain an apartment that iv PAID for i understand keeping it tidy but it’s also NOT my job hire a maid. The access is SO DIFFICULT if you have small children I had my newborn with me and the pushchair and JUST about got up the 3 flight of stairs Try stating that it’s difficult to access for us parents as I can see from other guests I wasn’t the only one suffering with a baby and change the deposit rules if you require a deposit it goes for all guests not just of certain ages and levels. Won’t return.

• Jackson (9/5): 1st International Family Trip - Waterloo Apartment Review - The location was great and surrounded by restaurants and top attractions. The apartment was spacious with a great patio. It was clean and perfect for our family. There are stairs to get to the flat. Not a problem for most but we had two littles with us suitcases and a double stroller. We managed just fine though once we settled in.

To have a massive terrace with views of the London Eye is incredible. The apartment itself is very modern, clean and well equipped. • Kelsey (7/5): Convenient for sightseeing London, needs update. - The location was wonderful and it was spacious and had everything one might need in an apartment setting. Great WiFi, nice outdoor space, wonderful street location. The bathroom needs updating drastically. It was clean but smelled of mold and mildew and was run down. Instructions on how to use the portable ACs, the lock/alarm, the location of things in the apartment could have been more clear- even signs in the unit would have been useful. The room deposit process should be streamlined to avoid international fees and hassles.

All basic facilities were available such as cutlery, cooking pans, iron, stove, air-conditioner and an air cooler. Everything was in a working condition. There were enough extra bedsheets, towels, duvet covers, etc. Property was very near to bus-stop and waterloo station. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants around the property. A superstore (Iceland) is located in the same building (ground floor). Dishwasher tablets were missing, so we could not use the dishwasher. Rubbish is not collected from the apartment and a guest has to carry it himself to the nearest bin across the street. Check-out time is little early, so guest should plan his journey accordingly.

Walking distance from Waterloo station. I would say there is none, but would suggest the host to add in some instructions over certain appliances on how to use them, as at times appliances between countries can differ.
• Wensheng (8/5): Apartment - Location of apartment It's tough to sleep 4 people.. 1 person has to sleep on the floor with the inflatable bed, which will then make it difficult for others to walk in the apartment. BUT- the staff supporting us was fantastic! Thank you for your hospitality!

At the balcony, you have an amazing view directly to the London Eye! Unfortunetly we had a problem with some stuff dirty, like the coffee machine (it was with mold). However, the owner promptly changed it for another one. It was a small problem, but it was resolved in a fast way!

• Amiram (10/5): The perfect apartment, everything you could dream for - You won't want to go home! - beautiful and perfect apartment, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, wonderful balcony, and perfect proximity to the subway and public transportation. The apartment is on a cool street with lots of great restaurants, street restaurants, bars, great bread bakeries, and a supermarket. 5 minute walk to Big Ben and London Eye. warmly recommended!
