Guest Reviews
- Lucas (8/5): - It was pretty spacious with a fridge and had a lot of cutlery, the location is good for the price The shower is not good and the sink was clogged

- Lucy (10/5): Great stay, would definitely come back! Comfy beds too - Great location right next to the tube station Unfortunately the tv was broken
- Jacintha (9/5): Perfect location - Brilliantly located, 7 min walk to the tube, excellent communication and instruction from the host. was extremely clean had all the necessary plates/glasses/cutlery you could need a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge all very handy. perfectly functional for a weekend in London perfect for our need OK it is small but there were 4 of us sharing. 2 were proper beds 2 futon beds which was made perfectly clear at booking but one of the futon beds was literally impossible to sleep on half in the air and half on the floor so sleeping with head in the air and feet on the floor and had a board across the middle right where your lower back is so was extremely uncomfortable and impossible to actually sleep on other 3 were perfect ... thats my only issue everything else was absolutely great!
- Kursanbek (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you very much. Clean cozy place to relax. Very quiet and safe.
- Anisha (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yurii (7/5): Very convenient place for a fair price - Calm and quiet location near to King's Cross. There is a bus stop very close to the property, you can take a 24-hour 390 to the city center, or 274 to Camden Town. As for the underground, Caledonian Road station is not far from the building. There is Sainsbury's Local, a nice supermarket with good prices next to the bus stop, works up to 11 p.m. It's all very convenient. In the apartment there is a good induction cooker (stove), microwave, dishes and cutlery, TV, everything's ok. Managing water temperature in the shower may seem to be unusual to some, but it works fine. There is a common laundry room. Nice view from the window: a big branchy tree on the background of a new stylish building. The property owner politely responds to messages quite quickly, giving no reason to worry. Obtaining the key was not a problem, locks work fine. Guests in the neighboring rooms did not cause any noise or trouble. The kettle and the toaster did not work. No salt. The smell in the room was even stronger than in the whole building, but we could ignore it, keeping the windows open for ventilation. By the way, the smell seems to be the major problem of the property, many people complain about it, some even refuse to check in upon arriving. But as for me the low price for a property with such a good location fairly compensates this disadvantage. No obvious way to deliver passport photos to the property owner. The booking.com messenger does not provide means to send pictures and it's unclear what the owner expects us to do. You can send them by WhatsApp though, but you know about it just a day or two before check-in.
- Janagama (3/5): Poor -
- Dimitrios (1/5): Stop offering stays until you clean it up – it shouldn't smell like a stable. - It was the filthiest apartment we have ever stayed in.
We found hair in the bathroom and dust all over the place. There were stains (God knows from what) on the sheets, the towels, the carpet, the walls and the ceiling(!). The apartment smelled horribly and we had to open the windows frequently so that we can breath normally. Additionally, some days after the booking we added one more person (for which we paid on the spot) but when we arrived at the apartment there were only 3 beds made. Sorting out the 4th person took us two days and numerous messages back and forth. And in the end, we weren't provided with sheets for the fourth person. So, more messages. The chap that brought us the sheets was very polite and apologised for the inconvenience.
Having said that, I'm sorry to say, but that smell in the apartment was unforgivable.
The only good things in the room were the mattress, the duvet and the heat.
We didn't have high expectations, but what we found was very, very disappointing...
- Sonali (1/5): Stayed only 1 of 3 night booked; left and booked another accommodation - Unfortunately this one was not a good experience. The property was not clean: there was still a lot of dust on furniture, also found a stain on duvet. The shower was odd as it worked but it was either scorching hot or freezing cold and no consistency to it. Lucky toilet was working and sink.
We decided to stay 1 night of 3 nights booked. And then left next morning to another accommodation. As above
- Shreyas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Katkevicius (1/5): Bad -
- Bruna (2/5): Very disappointed - The studio was spacious The door to the room was really hard to open, the keys wouldn’t ever turn. Spent about 5 min trying to open the door. The two smoke detectors in the room were out of battery, so I had to climb a chair and dissemble them to take the batteries out. The cutlery was very dirty. A lot of the things in the kitchenette were rusty. The toilet sink was clogged, disgusting! I have videos of everything. I’d like a refund.
- Eva (7/5): The room was nice and had nearly everything you need, and i feel like the downsides of the property were compensated in - The beds, the kitchen, the look of it. Quite loud outside, the drains didnt work properly and the water temperature was difficult to adjust in the shower.
- Marek (7/5): Overall worth the money. We got everything we payed for. - Location is perfect about 300m from underground station, and it's pretty close to the center as well. It's really small, but we were able to fit in (4 people). The 2 smaller beds could be bit more comfortable.
- Miroslava (8/5): Very good - I picked the location as I know the area. The center of London is reachable by buses that saves lots of money on the transport. It is quiet and reasonably safe with shops round the corner. The size of room was just fine for 4 people (2adults + 2kids) if you are most of the time out and about and you need just somewhere to sleep and be able to prepare breakfast or light dinner. Well, usual topic here: camp beds - I would be fine with them if they were not falling apart...
I would expect 4 towels for four people not just two....
Kitchen towels, another sauce pan and colander would be great.....
- Brian (5/5): It was a little disappointing but still better than paying the over-priced chain hotels. - Location was good. It was located close to restaurants, bus stops and the tube. There is repair needed on the fold away beds. We had to salvage parts from one to get a useable one out of the two. Not everyone is familiar on how to work the stove top they had and what we were able to figure out, it still didn't work. Images on the website really didn't come close to the actual layout. More accurate description/pictures would help.
- Hanuš (8/5): Very good - Perfect place, close to tube or bus. Good comunication with staff Really dont believe, that two additional beds would be use by owner of rooms in his own house... It was horrible, but we solved it and I have to say - it was only thing we didnt like it on our holiday. Other was perfect
