• Elizabeth (10/5): 3 nights stay in Kensington - The apartment was easy to find, really clear instructions from our host Vincenzo. It was clean and bright, big comfy beds and everything we needed from the kitchen. Really close to a tube station and great price. We found the apartment very warm but after contacting Vincenzo he says he'll update the welcome pack for future guests with more instructions.
• Claire (8/5): Great value for money, lovely big apartment and would definitely stay again. - Great location and very spacious. Vincenzo was very helpful in adjusting the heating temperature. Access stairs a bit steep and narrow in the rain. Bathroom sinks very small to wash face / brush teeth in.
• LEO (10/5): Un petit cocon très agréable pour se reposer des journées de visite ! - L'appartement est très bien situé dans un quartier très agréable à la fois dynamique mais calme la nuit. Le logement est très simple à trouver et les explications pour rentrer parfaites ! Il est composé d'une cuisine équipée et d'une belle pièce de vie, les deux chambres sont très confortables (la literie de grande qualité). Enfin le contact avec notre hôte a été très chaleureux, il était à notre écoute et disponible pour nos demandes. Je recommande vivement !

• Anthea (8/5): - Great location close to tube and restaurants .Lovely quiet street. Plenty of space in the apartment. Good to have 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Apartment lovely and warm . Great to have access to Iplayer etc on tv . The hot water in the shower in the back bedroom was dangerously hot, even after it had apparantky been adjusted. The boiler kept me awake for 2 nights until I was told to turn it off at night. The bathroom sinks were far too small making it impossible to wash hand, face, clean teeth without water going everywhere. The bathroom in the back room could benefit from a shelf or small table to put toiletries on. A shower caddy for shampoo etc in the showers would be appreciated. Kitchen could do with much better lighting, it was almost impossible to see the controls on the microwave. A couple of oven dishes would be useful.
• Caitlyn (9/5): Cozy London Flat in Kennsington. - Nice and Spacious 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom apartment with living room and kitchen. Very nice having the coffee, tea and cereal facilities there. Rooms were clean and comfy. As a fan sleeper we loved that each room had a tower fan in there! Bit of wear and tear eg. scuff marks on walls. Bathrooms were a bit small- and had no toilet roll holders. Heating was bit too warm/ tried adjusting it but kept reverting to 23degree c. Beware- very steep steps down to apartment, thankfully my partner was able to carry our suitcases up and down.
• Katarzyna (1/5): - Jedynie lokalizacja budynku Mieszkanie wbrew opisowi nie jest dla 5 osób, tylko dla 4 osób -kanapa nie jest rozkładana i jest na tyle krótka, że nie jest możliwe wyprostowanie się na niej w pozycji leżącej. Trzeba spać z mocno podkurczonymi nogami, co także nie jest wygodne, gdyż kanapa jest wąska. Opisanie mieszkanie jako nadającego się do noclegu dla 5 osób jest zatem oszustwem, podobnie jak nazwanie tego miejsca eleganckim. Jego wnętrze jest zaprzeczeniem tego pojęcia - mieszkanie znajduje się w suterenie, do której prowadzą bardzo strome schody - w opisie mieszkania nie było informacji o takiej lokalizacji. W mieszkaniu było wilgotno,a drzwi na patio na całej wysokości posiadały szparę przez którą do środka dostawał się chłód. Ponadto jest bardzo słabo oświetlone i co najważniejsze- toalety były brudne, podobnie jak drzwi do pomieszczeń. Brudne były także elementy prysznica. Grzejnik w łazience był na tyle brudny, że brzydziliśmy się korzystać z niego zgodnie z jego przeznaczeniem- nie zawiesiliśmy ani razu ręcznika na nim. W szafach -zamiast miejsca na rzeczy umieszczone były przedmioty do sprzątania. Gospodarz był miły do czasu gdy wspomnieliśmy o braku miejsca do spania dla jednej osoby. Wówczas odesłał nas do opisu na stronie Booking zapominając jednak, podane tam informacje są nieprawdziwe, gdyż kanapa w salonie nie nadaje się do spania na niej. Zdjęcia zamieszczone na stronie nie oddają rzeczywistego stanu mieszkania. With reference to the owner’s responses to our rewiev of the appartment we firmly want to underline that the condition of the appartment doesn’t correspond with the photos on the booking.com and the most important thing it is not for 5 persons - the sofa is not a sofa bed and it too short and narrow to sleep on. We attach only few pictures - unfortunately attaching video film is not possible.

• Claudia (9/5): - Die Lage ist wirklich super. Auf der Highstreet bekommt man alles was es braucht. Fußläufig sind Ken High St und Earls Court Tube Station erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht. Die "Vermieter" sind extrem hilfsbereit und flexibel. Beide Schlafzimmer haben je ein kleines Bad. Wer auch immer die Wohnung eingerichtet hat, gab sich viel Mühe, dass es gemütlich und heimelig ist. Die Fensterrahmen. Der Eingangsbereich der Kellerwohnung draussen. Wasserschaden unter der Decke im Wohnzimmer. Miniwaschbecken im Bad.

• Maria (8/5): Very well located, excellent hosts - The apartment was very comfortable, elegant and well located; hosts were easy to get in touch with and very nice; it was spacious and well furnished. Overall, would stay here again and recommend! The only two things that I think could be improved: (i) it is not clear from the description that the apartment entrance has very steep stairs (for someone with disabilities, this could be a problem; also for guests with heavy luggage); (ii) the toilet in the blue room could be improved (it is very small, so some further organization space would be key). But overall, it was a very good experience!

• Donald (6/5): The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - Location was superb...5 minutes to Kensington High Street and the Underground. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Induction stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer were a bonus. The bathrooms were a joke...very small showers with no place to put anything except to precariously balance on the shower handle. Sinks were the size of a large cereal bowl, again with no storage or shelf space. Paint was peeling from walls and trim. Vinyl covering on the kitchen cabinets was peeling. Vinyl flooring was also peeling. Beds were not all that comfortable. This is a garden apartment (read that, basement) and the stairs are extremely steep and very treacherous when wet.

• Carolyn (9/5): This is a perfect property to see London from - I recommend it! - This apartment is in a fantastic location - close to cafes, shopping, and to the tube. It’s near a beautiful park. It couldn’t be any better to see the sights and enjoy London. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. The host is very helpful as well. 😊 The showers are a bit small but expected. I didn’t notice while booking that there were very steep stairs to the property. My disabled husband had a difficult time navigating them.

• Tharanie (9/5): Great apartment and location - The location was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed in it. The host responded to messages quickly. Very little - there were small things to work on, the TV services weren't all available. There were several bags of half used but clean linen in the cupboards and shelves around the apartment. The rubbish disposal location (outside in a near the stairs) had lots of rodents - typical of London but a little off putting.
• Suzy (10/5): A perfect, relaxing stay in Central London- a real home away from home - The location is perfect- close walk to Kensington Palace and Holland Park which are both brilliant for kids. It was so nice to come ‘home’ after a day out and have a bit of room to spread out, make dinner, wash clothes etc. with Marks and Spencer food court nearby and the apartments close proximity to the tube, the location was the best. Check in was very easy! Yes there are a flight of fairly steep stairs to get down to access the apartment but it is a basement apartment in central London so you get that. The showers seem small at first but the water was beautifully hot and the pressure perfect!! Nothing!!
• Lindalnz (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location 5 mins walk from tube and Kensington high st. Well appointed flat with 2 brm, 2 ensuites. Full kitchen, lots of tea and coffee supplied. Staircase down to flat very narrow and not well lit. Not easy to get suitcase up or down. Maybe reflective strip on the step edges would make it safer. Cleaning a bit dubious in places- dirty toilet brush and dirt just swept under the rug in the bedroom.
• Silfida (9/5): We will come again ! - Very convenient location, metro and buses 5 minutes away. Great restaurants and cafes around. Calm and clean both in the apartment and outside. Everything you need in the apartment. Coffee machine with capsules and Americano. Bathroom to each bedroom. Extremely easy, fast and adequate communication with the owners! I recommend, we will come back again! Everyone writes about the stairs as the place is ground floor. It's 10 steps down, narrow and curved. We're just being careful, nothing special.

• Ken (3/5): Disappointing, pictures are not representative of the actual apartment - Pro: Great location, great responsive host, good water pressure, kitchen well stocked. Cons: moldy bathroom, dirty entrance with steep spiral stairs, dark interiors, lumpy pillows, couch did not make into a third pull out bed, outside courtyard was dirty.
• Santy (7/5): It was ok. - The location cannot be better. It is in the vicinity of the underground station. Lots of shops nearby and the apartment itself is very quite located. The apartment is a basement apartment so it is dark inside. The entrance to the apartment is very dirty since the beginning we came until the day we left. Surprisingly, someone did clean up the entrance. It was clean in the morning when we wanted to go for breakfast at 8:45am. We wished that this was cleaned during our stay. The bed is very very soft, so it was not comfortable at all. We visited London in an unusual sunny time, but the blanket was very thick which is appropriate for winter time. We ended up to only use the duvet the whole time. The patio was not maintained. It was dirty.
• Alina (10/5): Perfect stay in a great posh location! - Great apartament in a very good location. Very close to the metro station and lots of shops and restaurants near by! Vicenzo is a great host! We will come back for sure the next time in London! Nothing! Everything was great!
• Anita (7/5): On a practical level it was fine...but we have stayed at many more cared-for places. - Location was good. Good mattresses. Plenty of space in bedrooms. Kitchen facilities were good. Self-contained. Rubbish in the street each day on pavement above. Very unusual to have a noisy boiler in one bedroom...and is this safe even? Damaged..unreplaced flooring in some areas makes it look abit unfresh...replacement laminate iis pretty cheap to replace to give a more cared-for look. Boiler went off twice in a 7 day stay..so no hot water two mornings..which one member of our group repaired temporarily as possible. Patio area had not been cleaned of leaves and empty can left by previous tenant. Windows very dirty. Needs some TLC.

Arrangements with Vincenzo had been made for this prior to our arrival - which was very helpful after a long journey to the Capital. It was very much appreciated. The location of the apartment for our travel needs was very good as the Tube station very close by which meant heading into see the sights of London was easy to do.

• Allison (1/5): Terrible experience - Location There is nothing ‘elegant’ about this property!! It is old, tired and smells of damp and requires a total refurbishment! the stairs are extremely dangerous. Booked for 5 nights, 4 via booking.com plus 1 night direct with the owner. After I asked a question whilst staying at the apartment about the last nights payment I got a what’s app message that he was sorry that he had made a mistake and double booked and we would need to leave after 4 nights. This gave us 36 hrs notice to find additional accommodation for the last night. The owner couldn’t even call to apologise just texted that there was plenty of available accommodation on booking.com. We booked this a year in advance as we travelled from Australia!!! Do not stay here!!
• Sylvain (9/5): Space and quiet in London, all you need in one flat. - Spacious, easy going and calm. Not the most central but easy to grab the tube. The owner were great at explaining how to get into the property. A great location if you need a place to work as well, great wifi and space. Nothing that I didn't like. Jut be aware of the step stairs to get down to the property that'all.

• Jennifer (5/5): It’s fine if you’re not going to relax at the property at all. Great location. - Location was great, responsive host. This is not a five star property. It’s very worn and dated, no hair dryer, one towel per person for three days, apartment was very cold without a way to increase the heat, laminate floor boards were peeling up, tiny showers, weak internet that needed to constantly be reset. I wouldn’t plan to make any meals here-the stove is quite old. Just needs an absolute make over to become a nice property bc it’s not at all where it should be for the price.

• Angie (9/5): This was the perfect place for our stay! I would definitely book this property again. - Pros: The location was AMAZING!!! We were a very short walk from the High Street Kensington tube station. The flat was comfortably furnished and worked great for our party of 5. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, which was really nice. Our teen daughter slept on the couch in the living room and said it was good. Having a washer/dryer in the flat was a nice bonus. The temperature was easy to control with the thermostat, so it was nice to come home to a warm apartment. The little patio looked very inviting, but it was too cold for us to go out and use it. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable there. Cons: The beds were not as comfortable as we hoped. I think that a foam mattress topper on each one and some upgraded pillows would make a big difference. The shower stall in the back bedroom is TINY. (This can't be changed due to the layout of the property, but it's very small) FYI - there is an EXTREMELY steep set of stairs going down to the flat. Be aware that they can be tricky. If you are going to be out after dark, leave the porch light on to help navigate the stairs. Also, the upstairs neighbors are a little loud, but not too bad, and they weren't up terribly late most nights.
• Kelbel21 (4/5): Great location but would not stay again as not what we expected for the money we paid. - Host was great at communicating and he soon sorted the cleaning of the bathroom the day after arriving. There was no way we could have expressed our unhappiness of the apartment during our stay as it would have put us in a very awkward and vulnerable situation. Its not the same as staying in a hotel where you are able to go to the reception speak to them and they can assist or more you to a different room. The photos of the apartment are very misleading and lead you to believe the apartment is much more stylish that it actually is. The trip to London was a belated trip for my mums 60th birthday and I advised about this at time of booking plus in other communications. I would have thought a small note or a token gesture would have been put in the apartment to wish my mum a happy birthday. For the money people pay to stay at this apartment I feel the welcome pack should include more than what is offered.

• Aoife (9/5): Excellent Accommodation and Perfecf Location! - Fantastic stay in the Elegant Kensington Apartment. Absolutely spotless, very comfortable, and excellent location. Multiple cafes, restaurants and high street shops within short walking distance. Tube line only 3 minute walk away. Vincenzo couldn’t have been nicer and very helpful during our stay. 5 stars 😃 Only minor comment to highlight there is a small stairway to walk down in order to access the apartment. By no means did this have any impact on the excellent trip, this is more an information.
• Sandra (9/5): Superb property for tourists in London - Fabulous location , nicely furnished and lovely welcoming touches like coffee and biscuits. Hosts were exceptional - great communication and very accommodating. Fabulous having 2 bathrooms with showers. Lovely little outdoor patio if you like fresh air Super handy to trains, buses , shopping and restaurants at High St Kensington Access to the property is via steps down to basement fiat which is tricky if you have any large suitcases. The property doesn’t get a lot if natural light so can seem little dark but can be lit to brighten it up.

• Gary (9/5): Not elegant, but very livable, reasonable, convenient and safe. - The property is conveniently located to the Tube (High Street Kensington), several pubs and restaurants, food and department stores. The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe and secure at all times. The price for 2 couples was very reasonable. We booked this "flat" to address a concern of one guest about stairs. While the "flat" is on one floor, that floor is 12 steps down from the sidewalk. The stairs twist 90 deg. which made it difficult for our friend, who with some difficulty was able to get up and down. There was dampness that could be easily resolved with a dehumidifier and some mold in the shower that could easily be fixed.
• David (6/5): Pleasant - Location was fantastic. Very easy check in. We were able to drop our luggage off early and come back for full check in later which was very helpful given that our flight arrived in the morning. The host responded very quickly to queries. Flat was clean. Description of unit says it is located on the ground floor - it is in fact a basement flat which was disappointing. There was only one dry bath towel on check in with 2 damp ones hanging up in the cupboard and no iron. However on notifying the host he did send more towels over and an iron the next day. Household rubbish bags were piled up against the railing out side the living area window and so that is what we looked out onto.
